The rest of Sunday had been mostly uneventful for Lynn, she had enjoyed her time she spent with her friends, but had to part ways due to them having other plans for later, the 5th oldest Loud reluctantly returned home at that point, she was not surprised to find out she had been grounded for the weekend due to what she had done to Luan. Lynn did not really care, one thing the Loud parents became unnerved at was the fact their 5th child was becoming increasingly uncaring in her behavior seemingly, Lynn was too deeply lost in her own head to really even pretend that it mattered, as far as she saw it, her parents were doing everything against her stated desires, it felt like a betrayal to her.

Lynn had gotten through dinner relatively fine, though she had spent most of it in uncomfortable silence, Lynn Senior and Rita wanted to talk to her, but Luan with Lana had told them earlier today about how Lynn Junior was getting increasingly angry at their parents attempt to keep an eye on their athletic child, it left the parents of 11 more or less in the position of being unable to do anything currently, they were simply hoping that the psychologist would be able to help them and Junior during her first appointment Tuesday, even if Lisa had tried to temper their expectations, telling them there would most likely not be any progress happening with the split personalities through psychology until they were a few sessions in at least.

Lynn currently was upstairs in her and Lucy's room, having changed into her pajamas, she was sat in bed, writing away in her diary in an effort to try and distract herself from the depressed split personality talking in her head, it had been annoying her to no end for a lot of today. It had come close to pushing her past the limit several times as well, going on and on until she hurt herself enough to quiet it down, the main method Lynn had been silencing it with was by hitting her leg or arm hard enough against anything to cause pain, while it worked it was becoming increasingly ineffective, Lynn's increasing stress from trying to think on how to tell Lincoln about her pregnancy was not helping at all.

"Hm?" Lynn was snapped out of her thoughts, having her attention grabbed when hearing the sound of knocking on her room's open door, she saw Luan standing there, much to the sporty Loud's irritation. "What is it Luan?" The 5th oldest Loud bitterly exhaled before closing her diary, resting it aside as she saw the comedian stepping over to her.

"I just wanted to talk to you a bit, that's all." Luan said, she still was annoyed about being dunked into a trashcan earlier in the day, yet Lynn refused to apologize for doing that, it was clear how justified the sporty Loud felt in her actions, the comedian making a note of not trying to be that aggressively assertive towards her little sister again, Junior was simply too strong to really be physically opposed at this point by anyone alone in their family, the one best suited for dealing with her was Lincoln.

"I'm not going to your follow-up act tomorrow, if that's what you want to ask me." Lynn preemptively declared while leaning back against the headboard of her bed.

"Who cares what this idiot has to say? She's just here because Mom and Dad paid her to take care of us." The aggressive split personality sounded equally as frustrated as the sporty girl herself, she tried to bear with the throbbing skull pain.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to put you 'down in the dumps.'" The comedian tried to lighten the obvious tension in the air with a joke, her attempts had done nothing to the atmosphere in the room sadly.

"Really, I am sorry... I get how annoying it is to be constantly suspected, whether you're being nice, mean, sad, or happy, now people are wondering all the time if it's actually you or not you, I get it, it sucks." Luan started by talking from a position of familiarity, when one got known for being a notorious prankster, it was hard for people not to be suspicious of the aspiring comedian, the two might not be comparable circumstantially, but the 4th oldest Loud tried to show that she understood her sporty sibling's frustrations at everyone being paranoid about her mental state constantly, especially now that the news about the split personalities was known to the whole family.

Lynn began to ease up when hearing that, it had honestly been the first time someone had nailed down her exact feelings on their own, the sporty Loud tossed her diary onto her nightstand, letting her older sister take a seat beside her on the edge of the bed. Luan had a different air about her currently, one that could give Miss Lynn a run for her money seemingly, that yellow nightgown Luan wore and her hair being loose to run freely down her shoulders and upper back, while the familiarity of it made the sporty Loud feel uneasy, she also felt herself beginning to relax as Luan waited a moment before speaking again.

"You weren't wrong earlier today, mom and dad asked me to try and spend more time with you, they asked Luna the same thing too." Luan continued, while the family prankster was unaware of what Luna's answer had been to their request, the joker herself had tried to personally turn it down, Luan told the parents of 11 that she felt like she worsened Lynn's stress, not alleviated it, the 4th oldest Loud eventually agreed after a short discussion with Rita and Lynn Senior.

"I know. They asked Lori to hang out with me the other day." Lynn nodded; she was upset recalling how Lori had lied to her face essentially when she demanded the truth from the oldest Loud sibling, that did little to help the internal frustration that had been building up alongside the stress from everything else that was going on.

"We want to help, I just want you to know that mom and dad didn't pay or force anybody to help you, they asked us to, and I said yes because..." Luan found herself pausing midsentence, like someone had just locked down her vocal cords, she felt uncertain about confessing her true thoughts, the comedian knew that it would do nothing to help Lynn's mood after all.

"You should be nicer towards her, it's the least we can do given we stuffed her in a trash can today." The maternal split personality chimed up, the family joker was being oddly calm despite the surprising move by her little sister, Lynn decided to listen to the motherly voice, now that her own irritation was lowering it was being gradually replaced by guilt.

"You don't have to hold back Luan; I won't get mad about it." Lynn tried to assure her older sister that she could speak her mind freely, the aspiring sports star had changed a lot in these last couple of weeks, Luan recalled just a few months ago that saying the wrong thing could easily result in a fight with Lynn, making her mad and angry, that stubborn headstrong nature of the sporty girl's was no longer as prominent, like the voices in her head had begun to whittle away at her physical behavior as well as her mental health.

"I said yes because I thought you hated me." Luan expressed her reasoning for agreeing to their parents request to try and spend time with Lynn, the 4th oldest Loud had seen it as an opportunity to improve their relationship possibly, since as of the last few months, the standup comedian could not really recall any positive moments between them as of late, anytime they had spent together Lynn would more or less refused to interact with her beyond the bare minimum.

"She's not wrong, what person would like a bad joker like her?" The aggressive split personality chuckled, the sporty Loud holding her head while trying to suppress the pain. An uncomfortable silence took over the room, Lynn had to ask herself if she did dislike Luan enough to say that she hated her, that stillness in the room only seemed to increase with each passing second.

"Tell her the truth, she only cares because it will make her feel better when she's gone." The depressed personality sighed, Lynn thought on it for a short while, guessing maybe she should be honest, the sports lover just knew her older sister would not be pleased with the answer.

"I don't hate you Luan, I just don't know, I mean, what will we even be to each other in a few years?" Lynn questioned while leaning forward and putting her hands on her knees, Luan looking to her younger sister confusedly. "When you move out, will we be anything to each other? Sure, we'll hug and say hi at birthdays, Christmas, thanksgivings, family reunions, after that though? Do you see us really texting, calling, or checking up on one another?" Lynn exclaimed how she felt, as well as what her thoughts had been lately, the sporty Loud took in a deep breath, Luan was about to speak, but there were no words, she was caught incredibly off guard.

"When I go to college, when you move out... Will anyone care, or miss us?" Lynn swallowed; her lip quivered as her left hand trembled despite the firm grip that she had on her leg, the 5th oldest Loud sister bit her lip just to stop it from quivering any further. "What will we be to each other anymore?" Lynn choked out, unsure why, the more she talked about the topic of her family moving onto their own avenues of life, and imagining herself trying to do the same, it caused this overwhelming sorrow of loneliness in the depths of Lynn's heart that the sports loving girl's could not shake off.

"You know they won't..." Dismal Lynn scoffed.

"Everyone will be glad once we're gone." The depressed personality had been rather merciless today; Lynn was feeling like she was constantly on the verge of a breakdown, she could hear her heart beginning to beat harder, her breathing was beginning to become rougher.

"Lynn, just take a breath, it's okay." Luan tried to calm her younger sibling down, the comedian had accidentally stumbled onto an emotional landmine, she could tell how upset Lynn was now. The sporty Loud could feel Luan's hands on her shoulders, trying to help her relax as she began to ease Lynn into her bed, making her rest her head on the pillow, after getting her to lay down the comedian reached down and held Lynn's hand with her own, Luan weakly giving a comforting squeeze.

"I get it, imagining what things might be like one day, it sucks, just because we don't live together doesn't mean we aren't sisters anymore." Luan lately responded to what Lynn had told her, the sports loving Loud was taking in slow deep breaths, trying to resist the feeling of the depressed split personality taking control, even as her vision became blurry, she attempted to remain strong.

"I promise, no matter what, we'll always try to be there for everyone in our family." Luan promised, and for what many in their family rarely got to see, was acting completely serious for a change, the comedian doubted any amount of jokes our wordplay would improve the tense atmosphere in the room, Lynn saw her older sister stand up, releasing her grip on her hand.

"I'm going to go get Lisa for you, okay? Just try to take it easy." Luan stated, letting go of Lynn's hand as she began to make her way out of the room, the 5th oldest Loud remained in her bed, trying to calm her rapidly beating heart down, even as the depressed split personality kept talking.

"We'll be alone for the rest of our life, that's all we deserve..."

"You know Luan only cares as long as it's funny."

"She hates us why bother pretending like the future is anything but a grim nightmare? It's all pointless!" Lynn was not able to resist anymore, as her head pain worsened and her vision blurred further, it was only a matter of moments before her body went limp in bed.

Luan found herself waiting outside of Lynn's room, having gotten Lisa who had insisted the comedic Loud stay outside while she checks up on their sports loving sister, it was not long before the genius Loud stepped back out of the room, closing the door to the bedroom behind herself.

"She's fast asleep." Lisa stated in a matter-of-fact tone, when the 2nd youngest Loud sister had tried to check in on Lynn, there had been no response really, she would get a half-hearted grumble from her sporty sister, yet that was about it.

"She looked really bad, Lisa. Lynn was opening up to me, we were having a heart to heart, then she just started to breakdown the more she talked." Luan explained what had transpired while alone with the sports loving girl, the 4th oldest Loud sister had interrupted Lisa from her bedtime routine out of a fear that one of the split personalities was about to emerge, now Luan was wondering if she had caused her little sister to have an anxiety attack.

Lisa lifted her glasses and rubbed one of her eyes tiredly. "I thought I had given every one in our immediate family a thorough explanation on the split personalities, and how to safely interact with Lynn and her variants." Lisa tutted in exasperation, beginning to wonder why she had even bothered attempting to teach her many sisters about this all, especially if none of them were going to listen to that advice.

"I'm sorry Lisa, I wanted to try and make things better between me and Lynn." Luan sighed out her apology, feeling like she had only worsened things to a degree now, that was when she felt her younger sister grabbing her hand and beginning to tug her along. "Where are we going?" The comedian quirked a brow.

"My room, I require detailed information about your conversation, if it proves to be a vital key towards resolving one of the split personalities, then it would be best to have with the rest of the document I've created for the psychologist Lynn is going to see." Lisa explained that she needed to know what Luan and Lynn had been discussing when the split personality had been triggered, clearly the topic itself or an underlying subtext behind it had been enough to initiate one of the personalities unintentionally.

"I'll try and tell you what I remember." Luan agreed, not arguing with her 2nd youngest sister at all, although the comedian still could not believe how fast everything had gone wrong, right when they had been opening up towards one another as well. The two of them were unaware of the fact that they had left Lynn in the unattended clutches of the depressed split personality, having mistaken that tiredness for sleep since Lisa had not really investigated too thoroughly due to her own desire to slumber.

That night seemed perfectly normal for the Loud house, most of the family had left Lynn alone after they had heard what she had done to Luan, not out of fear, rather because they took it as a pretty obvious sign that the sports loving girl did not want to be bothered.

Lynn was stuck in a different place entirely, one she hated the most, her own head. She was in her and Lucy's room, only it was empty, just like the nightmare she had experienced before. The brunette had been stuck in this place for what felt like forever, it was so sterile and unnerving, yet she felt no desire to fight, just an empty hollow sensation in her chest that seemed like it got worse by the minute.

Lynn was sat against the still locked door of the empty room, she wanted to sleep, yet could not drift off, she had her knees pulled up to her chest and had her arms wrapped around them with her head resting on her knees in some attempt to comfort herself, the brunette had her gaze focused on the floor.

After what felt like an eternity, the brunette started to feel this unshakeable feeling that she was being stared at, like that 6th sense in the back of her head had been sent into overdrive. Lynn hesitantly tilted her neck back to gaze up, the room was filled with shapeless shadowy silhouettes, nearly a dozen of them, it startled the 5th oldest Loud to her feet, there were beady bright red eyes at what she thought was the heads of said figures.

"I don't know what you're trying here, at least you took what I said last time seriously." Lynn growled, remembering her screaming at the depressed personality to quit being a coward, for it to come kill her itself, that echoed severely in the walls of her mind, the brunette stepping up towards the first figure, she reeled back a fist and swung forward, the second the sporty Loud's hand made contact with it, everything changed in a flash.

"Wha...?" Lynn was dizzy, something felt off though, she was no longer in that room anymore, instead she was standing in the back yard of their house, but she could tell something was wrong, it all felt very disturbingly familiar. That was when she realized she could not move, her eyes drifted downward when the sound of a groan caught her ears.

"Lori?" Lynn could not speak, the words panged in her head yet would not leave her vocal cords. She remembered it well now, this was two years ago, during a terrible fight between her and Lori, a golf club that was broken in half lay nearby.

"For the last time, I didn't break your stupid golf club!" Lynn's voice screamed out, it was like she was watching her body act on autopilot, the longer she was in this memory the more she recalled things, Lori had been angry that one of her cherished golf clubs from their grandfather, Albert, had been destroyed and abandoned in the driveway, it had sent the oldest Loud into one of her blind rages and she wound up confronting the first person she could think of that would break it, which was Lynn herself.

The result? Lori got too boisterous and in the sporty Loud's face, one shove and a few poorly chosen words that escalated into screaming, and then subsequently a physical fight broke out between the two, well Lynn and Lori saw it as a fight, anyone else would most likely see it as a one-sided slugfest, the blonde woman had barely gotten two hits in before she was shoved to the ground, pinned down, and mercilessly pummeled by Lynn, what was once a subtle powder keg that had been awaiting to erupt between the two these last few months had finally blown up.

Lori was trying to be strong, her face was swollen and bruised, when she tried to prop herself up on her left arm, groaning in pain, she was not helped up though, Lynn was too angry to think straight.

"Stop!" Lincoln's voice rang out, he was not alone, standing beside him was Luna who looked ashamed and scared, the two having arrived late to the sound of the fighting, the white-haired boy looked angry though.

"I-It was my fault, I backed over the golf club when I was practicing my driving earlier... I'm sorry." Luna confessed, the golf club could have fallen out from the bag in the garage for a myriad of reasons, the rock loving Loud had simply played dumb and kept quiet upon realizing what she had done, out of fear of Lori's rage, Lincoln had just convinced her to tell the truth minutes before the fight as well.

Lynn looked down; she could tell Lori was immediately beginning to fill with regret for how quickly she had blamed Lynn for the destruction of her cherished item. "I'm so sorry Lynn." Lori apologized while sitting up, that anger in her was not there anymore, Lynn's remained in spades however. The brunette began to step away, it felt good to have finally had an excuse to put Lori in her place, she remembered that feeling very well.

In that moment Lynn felt things shift once again, she was back in her empty room, only the shadowy apparition she had attempted to punch no longer was just a vague cloud, it had Lori's shape, the shadowy doppelganger was just gazing down with their bright red eyes. Lynn stepped back, beginning to breath harder, she looked at the other glorified dark clouds that were within the room, there were seemingly only more and more of them.

Lynn tried to touch the Lori doppelganger again, there was no response beyond the eerie gaze that kept locked onto the brunette the entire time, though that was when the sports loving Loud took notice of something, there was another solidified shadow standing by the window, it did not take much to realize it was Dismal Lynn, the 5th oldest Loud could only describe it as an exact duplicate of herself.

"Dismal?" Lynn meekly spoke, stepping over towards her split personality, she wanted to attack the depressed personality, but doubted it would do anything given what happened to the last apparition she touched.

"I'll help you remember..." Dismal Lynn muttered, that lifeless gaze in their eyes unnerved the sports loving girl, Lynn was mentally debating if this was even worth wasting her breath on.

"Remember what...?" Lynn asked for clarity, uncertainty in her voice, she saw her double press her left palm against the wall behind itself, beginning to force itself up slowly, Dismal Lynn looked like she was being dragged to her feet in a similar fashion one would drag a puppet on strings.

"Why we deserve to suffer." Dismal Lynn responded, their hollow voice ringing out through the whole room. Lynn felt her heart skip a beat when realizing the split personality held a knife in her right hand currently, instead of using it on the sporty Loud however, she watched as Dismal Lynn raised her left arm up and brought the knife to it, Lynn stared in disbelief seeing the knife glide across her doppelganger's arm, all the while Dismal did not flinch or blink.

"Ow! What the-?" Lynn felt a sharp cutting pain in her own limb now, looking down at her left arm revealed a nasty gash on the forearm, it was not deep, that did not make it hurt any less however. "You can screw with me all you want, but I don't care, none of this is real!" Lynn growled, however upon returning her gaze to Dismal Lynn, she was already dragging the knife down her right arm instead now, and just like before the brunette felt the pain in her other arm, a cut appearing upon it as well.

"Do you really believe that...?" Dismal Lynn questioned while raising the knife to her own arm again, before she could do anything Lynn immediately tackled her duplicate, this nightmare felt too real for the sporty Loud to ignore, the many red eyes glaring at the two as they grappled for the knife, Lynn was grabbing at Dismal's palm with one hand, her other going for the blade itself, she felt the knife cutting into her left palm as she grabbed at the sharp instrument, she tried to use her bare hand to guard Dismal's body from the blade.

"Let, GO!" Lynn screamed as she ripped the knife free from the hands of Dismal Lynn, the sports loving girl fumbled and landed flat on her back, she quickly looked around when that feeling of the many eyes staring down at her suddenly vanished, there were no shadows, Dismal Lynn was nowhere to be seen, however the aspiring sports star noticed that she was no longer in that empty room anymore.

Lynn had snapped out of that nightmare, there was nothing but darkness around her, the athletically gifted Loud could tell she was not dreaming anymore though, she knew she was not in her bedroom currently, her arms were hurting as she felt the uncomfortably hard floor beneath her, Lynn quickly realized she was in the basement of her home, she sat up and turn on the light switch nearby.

"Wuh?" Lynn blinked in confusion when she realized she was holding a knife in her left hand, she recognized it as well, it was one from her father's favorite set of knives, that did little to help her scrambled brain, it had gone missing a few days ago from what she recalled. Upon closer examination, she realized there was a red substance on it, Lynn suddenly felt her heart sinking into her stomach when identifying it as blood.

"No way... No..." Lynn whimpered, both of her arms and left her palm had fresh cuts on them, the cut to the palm was lightly bleeding, the crimson oozing onto the floor from the injury, she dropped the knife to the ground and began to push herself backwards, her breathing was unstable and rough, she was hyperventilating. The nightmare had been a lot more real than she was initially aware, the depressed personality nearly succeeded in causing grievous irreversible harm to Lynn, knowing that made her terrified to no end.

Lynn could not help but to stare down at the injuries in disbelief, it was impossible she thought, that overwhelming realization that she could not even safely sleep without risking her own life was terrifying her to no end now. The brunette picked the knife up and forced herself back onto her own two feet, she tried to step away, as she made her way towards the staircase out of the basement, she felt her foot hit something that clacked on the ground, she winced in pain at the glorified toe stubbing.

"Huh?" Lynn blinked after a moment, she saw it was a brick on the ground that she had kicked on accident, she looked around in confusion and noticed a segment of the wall in the basement with a few of the bricks being loose, like someone had found a weakness in them and had ripped a few out.

"What's this?" Lynn pondered aloud; she wondered if it had been where the knife had been hidden, the aspiring sports star moved a few of the other loose blocks aside, what she saw in the makeshift hole in the wall made her blood run cold, when the basement light illuminated the interior, the first thing she was greeted by, was a picture of Lincoln on the back of the hole, it was being held in place by tape.

Lynn swallowed the lump in her throat, trying to ignore the trembling sensation in her body as she stared at the photograph, inside the hole were many other items as well, articles of Lincoln's clothing, his toothbrush, a coffee mug, a random pair of his socks, one of his shirts, the aspiring sports star knew what this was, a shrine left from the obsessed personality, her grip tightened on the knife in her hand.

"I wish you were actually here, Lincoln." Lynn muttered, honestly, she considered listening to the depressed personality, even if it was for the briefest of instances, the brunette considered bringing that knife up to her throat. The aspiring sports star tossed the knife into the hole when it occurred to her what she was thinking, only to then immediately begin putting the bricks back in place, she wanted to forget about this all, Lynn was scared of talking to Lincoln today, though one thing was clear, she was reaching her limit.

Lynn took the heaviest piles of junk that was in the basement and began moving them in front of that wall, it took some effort, even for someone with her strength, to move it all over in place of the loose bit of wall, she did not stop until there was a glorified blockade of trash that had been stored and forgotten about between her and that wall. Once it was done, Lynn began to walk away, turning off the basement light as she headed upstairs, gripping her cut palm to stem the bleeding further, she needed to treat the injuries, her brain too overwhelmed to even attempt to think at the moment.

The next morning had come about far faster than Lynn had wanted, she found herself riding in the bus today, she had actively avoided breakfast with her family, her appetite was at an absolute zero, and the second it got close to when the school bus would arrive, Lynn more or less ran out of the house, she had resigned herself to riding in the very back of the school bus.

The clothes Lynn wore were far removed from her usual attire, she had a long-sleeved red hoodie on that had a white splatter effect on the front, the artificial detail formed into the shape of a 1, the brunette was using it to cover the bandaging on her arms, her hand also had some wrapping around it. The auburn-haired Loud was sat there, trying to be as small as physically possible to avoid everyone else,

"Lynn?" Clyde's voice startled Lynn, there she saw Lincoln's best friend standing before her, the bespectacled boy would have completely missed her, unfortunately for the aspiring sports star the bus was mostly full and the very back of it was the only part with any open seats left.

"O-Oh... H-Hey Clyde." Lynn stuttered nervously, she was hiding her bandaged hand by keeping it to her side, hoping he would not take notice of it, she had already decided on how to talk to Clyde, she knew that the McBride boy was worried about her, the 5th oldest Loud had spent Sunday avoiding his texts or calls.

"Are you alright? You and Lincoln haven't been the most talkative lately." Clyde requested to know if everything was alright, Lincoln had been more robotic in his replies to messages, both Lincoln and Lynn had been hit or miss on whether or not they accepted Clyde's calls as well. From the black-haired boy's perspective, two extremely upset siblings had vanished from the party the second it began to wind down, neither him nor Stella could figure out what was going on, however Stella merely refused to pry any further and wanted to spend time with Lincoln.

"I've been better." Lynn weakly replied, leaning away from Clyde as he sat down next to her, she had her head leaning against the window nearby, though the teenage boy took notice of something, he swore he saw something on her wrist that was coming from her beneath her sleeve, Clyde only got a small glimpse of it however due to Lynn's movement.

"Did I do that bad on our date?" Clyde attempted to inquire casually, he had tried to be cordial and laid back during the date at the party, he did exactly as Lynn requested, and they seemed to have been having a great time together, up until she talked with Lincoln, then things degraded from there. Lynn found herself being silent when trying to think, she was backed into a metaphorical corner on this one, she had wanted to speak with Clyde, certainly, but the bus felt too public for the type of conversation she wanted to have.

"Be nice, there's no need to try and act tough to someone you've already shown your soft side to before." The maternal split personality decreed; the brunette sighed while gently nodding in agreement.

"No, you were... Actually, pretty great, you're sweet, funny, nice." Lynn began, trying to compliment the young boy that was sat beside her, yet the auburn-haired Loud could not bring herself to look at him, Clyde was leaned back in his seat with his arms behind his head. "You've really changed a lot these last few years, I barely can recognize you." Lynn confessed with a smirk, she couldn't imagine Clyde taking a hit for her in the past, the aspiring sports star used to only see him as that wimpy geek that would rather watch from afar instead of being brave.

"I'm not the only one that's changed Lynn, that's just how life is, no one is the same year after year." Clyde said, while flattered by her praise and compliments, he could tell the positive points she raised were doing nothing beyond cover the inevitable bad side she was going to bring up, the glasses wearing boy was prepared for it.

"But I can't date you Clyde, I'm sorry..." Lynn finally looked to him for the first time since he had sat down, the sporty girl saw herself as nothing more than what the depressed split personality had described her as, she had cheated on Clyde the very night he had asked her on that date, and as if that was not bad enough, she had cheated on him with her own brother, his best friend.

Lynn's entire view on herself had been ruined since the split personalities came along, the worst part was she still had no recollection of that sexual encounter with Lincoln, and now she had to break the news to him today that he was going to be a father, the stress of that conversation was destroying her heart with how hard it was beating.

"I get it, I'm just happy you gave me a chance. I know if I asked you something like that a few years ago, you'd have laughed me off and then body slammed me." Clyde replied with a grin, he took the news surprisingly well, now Lynn wondered if she had been a disappointment on that date herself.

"Can you tell me what happened to you though? I saw your hand was wrapped, and it looks like something is on your arm." The McBride boy questioned, normally whenever Lynn had an injury she would be proud of it, treat it like a trophy if earned from her sports activity, it was obvious to him that Lynn was hiding these wounds. Hearing that made the brunette lock in place, she internally groaned at herself, having forgotten that he could be equally as observant as her own brother.

"It's personal." Lynn initially defended herself, it came off rather poorly due to the fact she sounded unconvinced by her own words, she was relieved to see the school building coming into view.

"Lynn, I want to help you, just because we aren't dating doesn't mean I don't care, you're still one of my best friends." Clyde tried to plea with the 5th oldest Loud, he hated seeing her hurt after any form of physical activity, it always made him worried.

"You need to trust more people, Luna understood entirely, as long as you keep talking and don't run away, he will understand." The maternal split personality chimed up with her own opinion on the matter, she wanted Lynn to open up and be truthful to more people, the sporty Loud knew the more people that knew the truth, the bigger the risk, Lynn did not think now was the right time at all to tell Clyde either.

"I'm sorry Clyde, but I swear nothing is wrong, I promise to tell you the truth one day, just, not right now." Lynn apologetically spoke, though it was clear how grateful she was for how kind and understanding the glasses wearing boy was to her, it made the girl with the ponytail glad to have him as a friend.

Clyde knew he was not going to get a direct answer from her, the bus came to a slow stop, the second the door opened people began piling off, the McBride boy decided to take a risk, right when Lynn got up and was about to bolt, he quickly hooked two fingers into her right sleeve, doing this caused it to get yanked up the second she tried to hurriedly run off.

Clyde stared in horror when seeing Lynn's forearm, the bandaging that once had been on it had gotten pulled up along with the sleeve, accidentally undoing it and unveiling in its place the cut in its full grim glory, the brunette had stopped when feeling the tug on her arm, she looked at her brother's best friend, standing there for a second as the world seemingly paused, she saw that look in his eyes, Lynn immediately slapped her hand over the injury before bolting off the bus.

"Lynn! Wait!" Clyde shouted at her, to no avail, Lynn vanished in the ocean of students, the black-haired boy stepped off the bus, there was no catching her, he knew what he had seen, a clearly self-inflicted cut on her arm, that was enough proof to him that something terrible was going on. The teenage boy held his head, dragging his hands down his face as he felt a dozen different thoughts running through his head.

"I need to find Lincoln..." Clyde decided that was his best approach, Lynn would sooner beat him to a pulp than confess that she had hurt herself intentionally, the bespectacled teen felt an overwhelming sense of dread, he needed to find Lincoln as soon as he could, Lincoln was the go-to guy for anything involving his many sisters after all.

Lincoln had been trying to get through this school day like normal, once again he had found himself going out of his way to avoid his usual routine, he had essentially gone straight to class well before the bell threatened to ring, the white-haired boy was grateful when Leni brought him to school directly, though he had entered through a side entrance instead of the front as a means to avoid Lynn, the bucktoothed teenager was not even pretending that he was doing it for any other reason beyond his own fear, that worry of potentially hurting her again kept him awake most of last night.

Lincoln had kept to himself for most of the early classes, just heading from one to the next, when lunch came around the white-haired teenager had made the decision to go to his locker for the time being. Although while he stood at it, he suddenly felt a pair of arms wrap around his neck that startled him.

"You're such a hard bunny to catch sometimes, you know that?" Stella's voice prickled his ears, Lincoln felt himself beginning to calm down when realizing it was just her, he did not know if they could call one another boyfriend and girlfriend yet, but he was happy with the raven-haired girl.

"Sorry, I wasn't trying to avoid you." Lincoln apologized, turning around in her arms and wrapping his own around her, their date the other night still was very fresh in his mind.

"You can make it up to me with lunch." Stella smiled; the middle Loud sibling gave his own bright smile in agreement, he always felt himself lighting up in her presence, she had truly kept him from breaking down, Zhau's understanding nature and kind heart were the things he loved the most, but no matter how much time passed, Lincoln could not help but feel a twinge of guilt in his heart, he took her hand into his own, giving it a soft squeeze.

"Lincoln, there you are!" Lincoln heard someone else call out his name, he felt confused when seeing Margo and Paula hurrying over to him, he did feel uneasy since the middle Loud sibling knew they were Lynn's best friends, Stella was unfamiliar with the two besides knowing they were on a lot of sports teams just like the sporty Loud as well.

"We've been looking everywhere for you." Paula said, the two had been basically hunting for him ever since school first started today, the sports players had been surprised at just how hard it was to find the only boy with white-hair in their school. "We need your help." She declared.

The young boy looked to Stella; his hand still entangled with her own, the taller girl insisted for him to relax, she knew Lincoln's helpful nature couldn't walk away from the two of them without it weighing on his conscience.

"Is something going on?" Lincoln hesitantly spoke up; he could tell that the two were worried about something, he was worried about what that could be however, or rather, who it could be about.

"It's about Lynn." Paula stated, Stella suddenly felt Lincoln's grip on her hand unconsciously tightening, the taller girl was still uncertain as to what happened between the Loud siblings, she had refused any efforts to pry the truth free from Lincoln, she knew it would only cause him more harm than good to force it out.

"What about her...?" It was clear that the middle Loud sibling wanted them to get to the point, it was far from the first time one of Lynn's teammates had come to him for help with something involving her, Margo usually was the one who went straight to the white-haired teenager whenever something happened during practice or a game.

"We think, she's... Uhm..." Margo found herself stumbling, she did not know how to say it, there was far from anyway to say it tactfully or gently. Paula put a hand on her shoulder, insisting she not stress herself out from trying to beat around the bush.

"We think Lynn might be making plans to... kill herself." Paula forced the words past her lips, unable to truly believe it herself, but all the warning signs were there from her personal experience. Stella and Lincoln's eyes both went wide, the young boy knew the split personalities were a lot to deal with, he found it rather hard to believe Lynn would give up fighting them however, she was the strongest in the Loud family, now Lincoln was wondering if anyone could truly withstand an endless mental assault like that, he was aware of just how far Lynn had gone to silence some of the voices before.

"There's no way." Lincoln naturally spoke without thinking, if anyone told him any of his sisters were planning to end themselves, he would not believe it, though lately he did not really know what to believe anymore.

"Is this my fault...?" He mentally pondered, he still fully blamed himself for their sexual encounter, anytime he recalled it made him feel like nothing short of a disgusting monster, Paula and Margo were looking to the two of them, they were giving him a second to absorb the news.

"Where is this coming from?" Stella had to ask on behalf of her partner, sure she had butted heads with Lynn quite hard recently, claims that the aspiring sports star was considering ending her own life was no small thing, especially with how fast rumors spread in this school.

"Lynn asked us to meet her for lunch yesterday, we were pretty happy since it had been a while since we last had hung out together." Margo began explaining to Lincoln and Stella, Lynn had basically been avoiding her friends ever since she had gotten hurt, those split personalities made the sports loving Loud too afraid to really spend long periods of time like usual with those she knew.

"She's barely eating, she's been avoiding us a lot lately, she's faking being happy, giving away her stuff, but the thing that made us worried about what she was going to do, was because she told us she was going to quit playing sports." Paula explained in detail their reasons for how they reached this conclusion, the two highly doubted that Lynn only intended to quit playing for a year, with how the aspiring sports star spoke to them, it came off like she was quitting forever. That news made Lincoln look to them in increasing disbelief, the only statement of the blonde girl's he could debunk was Lynn avoiding them, he knew why she was doing that, the rest however, he could not argue against like they were nothing.

"This is the first I'm hearing about her quitting anything at all." Lincoln claimed, uncertainty lacing his voice, the only Loud boy guessed his family knew nothing about it as well, since news of Lynn quitting would have definitely spread through the large family in an instant. He could see how worried Margo and Paula were for their close friend, he appreciated them coming to talk to him, he just hoped they were incredibly incorrect about their claims.

"Let's go to the cafeteria, we can all talk to Lynn together." Lincoln offered, insisting it would be a good idea for them all to try and meet with Lynn together on this, he assumed his 5th oldest sister would appreciate knowing how many cared for her, it was an important thing to do, the bucktoothed boy was scared this was all his fault still, he wanted to make sure nothing was wrong nonetheless.

"Are you sure, Lincoln?" Stella asked the boy she was dating if he really wanted to do this, she thought Lincoln could simply tell his parents and they could handle it, why should the responsibility of someone else's entire wellbeing fall squarely on his shoulders? Stella loved his helpful nature, and that heart he wore on his sleeve, she just did not want to further stress himself out if he didn't have to.

"Yeah, I can't just ignore her, it might be my fault she's like this." Lincoln replied while taking his hand out from Stella's grasp, he began to make his way towards the cafeteria, the other three following after him.

When they arrived to the cafeteria, there was no sign of Lynn anywhere, that did little to ease Lincoln's worry, he knew that his 5th oldest sister was hit or miss on whether she cared for the food in school or not, though one person the teenage boy took notice of was Clyde, sat alone at one table.

"Clyde! Hey, have you seen Lynn?" Lincoln asked while stepping over to his friend, Clyde looked up at his best friend and the entourage he had, the black-haired boy was glad his best friend came and found him, just like Stella, Clyde had no luck finding the Loud boy for most of the day.

"Not since the bus ride this morning, but uh... Look Lincoln, can I talk to you a second? Alone? I need to talk to you about her." Clyde asked his practical brother of a best friend, there was moments pause before Lincoln nodded, the young boy casting a glance over to Margo and Paula.

"Can you two see if you can find Lynn?" Lincoln requested the two of them try to find the sporty Loud, now the young boy himself was beginning to be worried Lynn might not have even come to school today, though Paula had insisted that she had seen the sporty Loud during chemistry class earlier.

"Sure Lincoln."

"Alright." Lynn's best friends agreed, it was almost like he had read their mind on just what they wanted to do, the two heading off and leaving the other three behind.

"I'll try and see if I can find her too." Stella volunteered; Lincoln thanked her before he stepped aside with Clyde, it was clear that his best friend did not want to talk about this directly in the cafeteria, so the white-haired boy followed him out of the lunch room and back into the hallway.

"What's going on Clyde? I haven't seen you this bummed out since you had to sell your comic collection." Lincoln attempted to query his best friend; Clyde looked rather sorrowful currently, being shot down by Lynn was one thing, seeing those cut marks on her arm was an image that was stuck in his head.

"Lynn's cutting herself." Clyde came right out and said it to his best friend, looking disappointed in himself that he even had to say the words, Lincoln felt his heart skip a beat upon hearing that news.

"What?!" Lincoln gawked, he wanted to say he did not believe it, he was at a loss for what to believe anymore, that panic welling inside of him only building up with each bit of information he heard of his sister today.

"We were on the bus, I could tell she was upset, we talked some and she gave me a bunch of compliments, then she told me she couldn't date me but couldn't tell me why yet." Clyde began summarizing to his buddy what had transpired on the bus ride to school.

"She had a nasty cut on her arm dude, it didn't look like an accident either, she had bandaging on her left hand too." He finished there, Clyde was not able to look his best friend in the eye at the moment, mostly because he felt like he had failed him, the McBride boy had to wonder if he had been oblivious to a terrible case of depression this entire time, yet Lynn seemed perfectly fine just a few days ago.

That was when Lincoln began to remember something from yesterday, Lynn had attempted to call him during lunch and he had ignored her call, the boy with white hair took his phone out of his pocket and looked it over briefly, there was a single voice message, the teenager tapped his screen a few times until it began to play the message, he put the phone up to his ear to listen.

"Hey, Linc, I was just calling to check up on you... Look, I need to talk to you about everything, it's really important, and I've got a lot of news, I understand if you don't want to talk to me though, but I've already made a decision on what I'm going to do. I'll say it again, this is all my fault, I'm taking full responsibility for this, I'm sorry... I swear, I'll make things right again, I just hope you can forgive me for what I've decided to do." Lynn's familiar voice played through the old message, that upset tone scared him, the content of the voicemail sounded like a decision had already been made.

Hearing that did not help Lincoln's worsening worries, he tried calling Lynn's phone number, but there was no answer, it just rang endlessly. Clyde could tell just by his friend's expression that he was beginning to fear the worst. The bucktoothed boy was about to just bolt off, though his best friend suddenly grabbed his arm, stopping him dead in his tracks.

"Lincoln! Take a breath dude, I know you need to find Lynn, but you aren't going to get it done by running around aimlessly." Clyde tried to talk his friend into calming down, Lincoln looked to him for a moment, jerking his arm free from his grasp, the middle Loud sibling could tell his friend still had feelings for Lynn, it made him wonder how Clyde could remain calm.

"I know you're right, I just don't want to make it into a public spectacle..." Lincoln muttered while holding his head with one hand, he could try to wait for Lynn at her next class, but that would mean there would be no way to privately talk without questions from a teacher or one of the hall monitors. That was when a lightbulb went off in his head, Paula and Margo told him that Lynn was quitting her sports teams today, that gave Lincoln a better idea on where to look.

"I think I know where to find her now, thanks Clyde." Lincoln sprinted off after thanking his friend for making him calm down, Clyde hoped for the best that everything would turn out alright, he had faith in his best friend being able to help Lynn, even if he was unaware in full detail what was truly going on.

Lynn at the moment was at the football field, or rather, underneath the bleachers sat on the ground, idly munching on an energy bar. She was not in a good place mentally, the 5th oldest Loud had been spending her time in between classes going to one coach from the other, the coaches for each individual team greeted her very warmly, only to then get a shocking surprise when Lynn announces to each one of them that she was quitting the teams for a while.

The reason Lynn was upset was because not all of the coaches took the news well, her baseball coach was understanding and actually seemed happy to hear that Lynn was going to actually take a break for a change instead of overworking herself constantly in her hobbies, the volleyball team leader was pretty angry but did not say anything, her track team coach seemed indifferent, the soccer teacher was kind and gave Lynn a hug saying there would always be a place for her when she's ready to return.

The one that had upset Lynn the most however was her football coach, Rebecca, who upon hearing that the brunette had to step away from any physical activity, basically gave a long lecture about how quitters don't deserve any sympathy and that she probably cost her team the rest of the season.

The second it was done Lynn basically vanished behind the bleachers, she was just sat there with her backpack at her side, lost in her own head. She heard her phone ringing, but she ignored it, not even bothering to check as to who was possibly calling. When the sports loving girl finished her energy bar, she stuffed the wrapper into her pocket, her cheeks were damp but she refused to cry.

"I still say we could've put Rebecca in her place." The aggressive split personality said, Lynn sniffled while feeling her skull throb in pain, the only mercy she had at the moment was the fact the depressed personality had been quiet since Lynn's nightmare this morning.

"What's the point? None of this matters." Lynn spoke back to the voice in her head. "I'm a failure..." She began to feel her personal views on herself beginning to fall in line more with Dismal Lynn.

"We're not a failure, we're going to be a mom." The maternal split personality tried to remind Lynn; the brunette rubbed her cheek with one of her sleeves in an effort to dry off the many tears that had been gradually pouring down her face. "We can't give up; we don't have that choice anymore, for our family, and our child." Miss Lynn repeated, while she was trying to be supportive, she also sounded pretty vehement with her words. Though before Lynn could respond, she heard her phone ringing once again, for what was the third time now, she still ignored it.

"Lynn!" Lynn was startled by the sudden voice calling out her name, that was when she took notice of Lincoln peeking his head between some of the bleacher steps, the brunette was incredibly happy to see him, yet at the same time terribly nervous.

"Lincoln? What're you doing here?" The 5th oldest Loud asked, watching her brother pull himself in between the bleacher seats and tumbling onto the ground, he quickly got to his feet.

"Because I know this is one of your favorite places to hideaway when you're upset." Lincoln stated while dusting himself off, he was not even attempting to hide his concern, she could see how scared her little brother was. "Look, whatever you're planning, don't do it, we can help you." He pleaded while taking a step closer to her, she looked to him confusedly.

"What I'm planning?" Lynn parroted that part, now she wondered if a split personality had gone out of control without her knowing and had been messing with her brother, then she remembered the message she had left him yesterday. "Oh, you got my message? I told you already I've decided on what I was going to do, and it's kind of too late change my mind." The 5th oldest Loud replied sheepishly, she had already quit her teams, she felt her brother grab her by the shoulders, that desperate and upset look in his eyes caught her off guard.

"None of this is your fault! It's all mine, I'm the monster that took advantage of you that night! You can beat me up and hit me all you want, I deserve it, just please, don't do anything stupid!" Lincoln exclaimed to her his honest thoughts while begging, the two were on completely separate pages on this matter, the white-haired teen had a million different thoughts racing in his mind. "I can't imagine my life without any of you in it..." He weakly proclaimed.

"What are you talking about?!" Lynn asked while gently prying her brother's hands off of her, though she kept his hands held with her own to try and comfort him, now she was questioning if her only brother was suffering from his own split personality, she was happy to be talking with him, this conversation was completely losing her though.

"Margo and Paula talked to me, about how you're quitting all of your teams, and Clyde told me about how you were cutting yourself... We all thought you were going to kill yourself." Lincoln responded to her inquiry, his voice trailing off towards the end, hearing that made Lynn blink, did her friends really get that impression? After this morning she guessed they weren't wrong to an extent, the aspiring sports star was not shocked when hearing Clyde had told Lincoln about her cut marks.

"I'm not making plans to kill myself." Lynn had to stifle a laugh, she felt bad for making Lincoln and her friends worried, it was far from her intention, it was just how things accidentally had fallen together from circumstances. "I just... There's a lot I need to tell you." The athletic girl took her hands away from him, she saw him waiting in anticipation.

"What is it, Lynn? You can tell me anything." Lincoln tilted his head, insisting she could be open and honest with him, Lynn was scared, she imagined a myriad of scenarios in her head about how her brother might react to this news, would he scream at her? Faint like their father? Would he break down just as badly as she did? That was barely the peak of the many worst-case scenarios running in her head.

"Don't wuss out now, or else he'll really think we're trying to pull somethin'." The aggressive split personality oddly enough was the one to nudge her towards speaking the truth, that was a surprise to her. Lynn shook off the minor head pain, she looked up to Lincoln with her misty eyes.

"Lincoln, I'm pregnant..." Lynn was able to make the announcement, she waited to see some form of reaction from him, there was no response initially, like she had overloaded his brain to the point it had shorted out, Lincoln had not fainted though, so she took that as a pretty huge positive.

The longer the two of them stood there with nothing but silence between them, the more anxious Lynn became while she studied his face for even the slightest twitch. After what felt like an eternity, she finally saw a reaction from her brother, as slowly a large open-mouthed smile began to spread across his face from ear to ear. Lynn had never seen such joy in his expression before, pride mixed with sheer happiness, the brunette was not expecting that at all.

"Hrk!" Lynn had no chance to react when she was suddenly yanked into a spine crushingly strong hug, this was far from the response she had expected from Lincoln, but she would be lying if she did not admit to herself that it felt nice, she wanted to remain like this for a while, the 5th oldest Loud tried to return the hug to the best of her restricted ability.

"Y-You're not mad?" Lynn asked in slight disbelief, she would not have blamed Lincoln no matter what kind of reaction he had, this was the first real physical interaction the two had really achieved since the incident with the obsessed personality had occurred.

"Mad? How can I be mad? This is great! This is-..." Lincoln found himself pausing mid-sentence when seeing how scared she seemed, it was clear to him just how anxious she had been about this conversation. "Are you happy about it?" He quirked while easing up on his hug. The young boy acted like a second father almost to the younger half of their family, so hearing he was going to be a dad, it just made him instinctually overjoyed, after all, why shouldn't he be happy, he believed he had no right to be mad. It was far better news than what Lincoln had been anticipating for the last near half hour he had spent looking for her, having been dreading the absolute worst.

"I don't know, I just... I hate how it happened, I'm scared Lincoln, I have no maternal instinct, or parental skills, I'm terrified." Lynn expressed her fears with little hesitation, in most circumstances she would never admit she was afraid, this was a situation where the brunette thought honesty took priority above all else now.

"How can you be happy after what I did to you? You don't have to be involved in this if you don't want to be." The 5th oldest Loud continued, she was more than willing to take full responsibility for the incestuous child currently growing inside of her, the teenage girl knew that Lincoln would still put her first before himself, despite what transpired between them both.

"I want to make things right, Lynn. You really think I'm able to sit back and do nothing after you told me I'm going to be a dad?" Lincoln began, he was starting to think differently, they both blamed themselves fully for the situation, he saw this as a chance to make things right to one another, they both wanted to take responsibility for their actions, even if a split personality had been the main catalyst behind it.

"Yeah, it's not how I imagined it happening, but.. I accept that it's happened, and as long as you're willing to let me take responsibility too, I won't abandon you." Lincoln continued speaking out loud with his thought process, it made her heart flutter hearing that, Lynn had spent the last few days believing their bond was entirely annihilated after all, although she could tell their relationship was still not exactly in a good place currently.

"I promised if you couldn't stop yourself, I would be there to stop you. I want to be there, for both of you." Lincoln stated what he wanted to do; Lynn had to wonder if he actually was doing this out of his own desire, or simply because he felt guilty for impregnating her. Lynn could tell by one look at the bucktoothed boy that he was determined to not leave her alone to this challenge she was facing, the aspiring sports star felt a refreshed hope inside of her, she was unable to resist practically latching onto Lincoln, hugging him as she rested her head on his shoulder, her eyes watering, not just because she was happy to have Lincoln's support, but because she knew she wouldn't be alone.
