Chapter 3 - Hot Springs and Elite Battles Part 2

"Everything has a weakness. This Wyrdeer is nothing different. We'll be okay," Logan thought.

Itsuki grinned. "While your Snorlax recharges from Giga Impact, let's go ahead and use Calm Mind."

Wyrdeer took a deep breath through his nose before breathing out his mouth. His eyes glowed light blue as his power increased.

"That's not good," Logan muttered.

"And now, Psychic!" Itsuki commanded.

"Too fast," Logan muttered.

Wyrdeer's eyes changed from blue to purple, and he lifted Snorlax into the air with kinetic energy. He quickly slammed Snorlax back down, but the Normal-type stood back up as soon as Wyrdeer let her go. She quickly looked back at Logan and nodded.

"Sounds good to me! Use High Horsepower!" Logan ordered.

"Fight back with Psyshield Bash!"

The two Pokémon charged at one another. With every stomp, Snorlax shook the field while Wyrdeer formed a kinetic wall in front of himself. The two crashed, and the air was sucked out of the building. The crowd watched on in silence, and they were stunned once Snorlax finally collapsed.

The referee paused and then held up his white flag toward Logan. "Snorlax is unable to continue!"

"And with Wyrdeer barely taking any damage, this battle is even once again!" the announcer yelled.

"High Horsepower wasn't worth nothing," Logan thought while withdrawing Snorlax. He contemplated his next move. "How about you meet the real Dusclops! Let's go!"

Dusclops emerged from Logan's Poké Ball and slowly walked forward. He waved around his hands slowly while staring at Wyrdeer. Zorua's illusion was almost perfect, but nothing could beat the genuine unsettling nature of the real Dusclops.

"Ice Beam!" Logan ordered.

"Charge forward with Psyshield Bash!" Itsuki instructed.

As Dusclops unleashed the jagged beam of ice from the middle of his palms, Wyrdeer charged down the field, kinetic energy exploding from his antlers. He collided with the attack directly, slowing down only momentarily. But then, he continued his march and crashed into Dusclops. The Ghost-type was hurled backward, but he quickly found his balance and prepared his next attack.

"Shadow Ball!" Logan yelled.

Dusclops clapped his hands together and formed his next strike. He launched it into the air, and it struck Wyrdeer directly. However, the attack instantly faded away, doing no damage.

"A Normal-type?" Logan wondered.

"That's right. Use Psychic!"

Wyrdeer didn't hesitate. His eyes turned blue, and Dusclops was suddenly frozen. Wyrdeer focused his kinetic energy, and Dusclops was forced into the ground. When the attack stopped, Dusclops struggled to get back to his feet.

"And use your own Shadow Ball!" Itsuki commanded.

Itsuki's commands and attacks were relentless, and Logan had no time to devise a quick strategy. He could only watch on helplessly while Dusclops was hit attack after attack. However, his Pokémon's resiliency and willingness to stand back up inspired him.

"One more Psyshield Bash! Finish this battle!" Itsuki instructed.

"Hold your ground!" Logan exclaimed.

Dusclops nodded and waited while Wyrdeer came down the field.

"Patience," Logan muttered. "Patience."

"This one is as good as ours! He's waiting to be hit!"

"I don't think so! Use Thunder Punch!"

Dusclops fist started to crackle with electricity, and he swung his body as soon as Wyrdeer was in position. The Psychic-type Pokémon wailed as the electricity went through his body, and he was forced to take a few steps backward.

Logan snapped his fingers. "Trapped. Use Pain Split!"

Dusclops looked at Wyrdeer in the eyes. Then, his hands shot from his body and latched onto Wyrdeer. The Psychic-type cried out as his energy was sucked, and the two's health was leveled out.

"All of it was a trick?" Itsuki said, baffled.

"Not so forward-thinking for a psychic," Logan said with a grin. "It looks like your Wyrdeer is paralyzed as well. Dusclops, use Ice Beam!"

"Psyshield Bash!"

With the two Pokémon at close range, their attacks instantly caused an explosion, which covered them from the sight of the crowd.

"Shadow Ball!" Itsuki ordered before any of the dust could settle.

No one, not even the trainers could see what happened next. However, another explosion followed, and the gym shook. Everyone was was left to wait. And when the smoke faded away, Wyrdeer stood above an unconscious Dusclops.

"Dusclops is unable to continue!" the referee declared.

"Even though Logan was set to make an incredible comeback with Pain Split, Wyrdeer and Itsuki still manage to get the win!" the announcer screeched.

"I thought we had 'em," Logan mumbled while withdrawing his Pokémon. "We won't lose now. Incineroar, you're up!"

Logan's next Pokémon exploded from his Poké Ball and did a spin before he flexed his muscles. He took in the adulation from the crowd and waited for them to stop cheering before he looked at his opponent.

"Incineroar was one of my most trusted Pokémon when I adventured in Alola. He's a goofball, but I'm sure he'll manage to help me make my comeback," Logan said.

"We'll see. Use Calm Mind!"

"Incineroar, don't let them! Flamethrower!"

Wyrdeer closed his eyes and started to focus. However, Incineroar didn't make it easy. He bellowed a stream of fire from his mouth. The flames quickly engulfed Wyrdeer, but his focus didn't break.

Itsuki grinned. "My Wyrdeer is strong enough to take anything you'll hit us with. Use Shadow Ball!"

Wyrdeer grunted and then tried to use his attack. However, sparks emitted from his body, and he couldn't manage to move an inch.

"Now's our chance! Use Darkest Lariat!"

"Incine!" the Fire-type roared while he bounded forward. His arms were engulfed in darkness while he spun around, doing a discus lariat to Wyrdeer, sending the large Pokémon backward. Wyrdeer landed in front of Itsuki, his body unmoving.

"Wyrdeer is unable to continue!" the referee shouted.

Itsuki shook his head while he withdrew Wyrdeer. "It looks like you've almost backed us into a corner. Almost. Logan, we've been working with a disadvantage for the majority of this battle. However, I think it's time that we turn the tables on you. You're Incineroar is strong, but he won't fare well against my next Pokémon. Go, Slowking!"

Itsuki's next Pokémon was pudgy and stood up on two legs. He was pink with a massive crown made of a seashell placed on his head. He placed his arms behind his back and looked at Incineroar with a cocky grin on his face.

"Amnesia!" Itsuki ordered immediately.

"No! Flamethrower!"

While Slowking's mind wandered, his power raised. Incineroar growled and unleashed more flames from his mouth. However, Itsuki's next command surprised everyone.

"Flamethrower!"

Slowking roared and unleashed his own flames. The two streams connected, and the crowd watched on in bated breath to find out whose flames were stronger. But neither Pokémon wanted to give an inch.

"Gotta try something else," Logan said. "Darkest Lariat!"

Incineroar ceased his attacks and then started to run forward. He closed his eyes while he took on the full force of Slowking's attack. However, he powered through the flames, and when he was in range, he swung, connecting with Slowking's torso. The heavy Pokémon was forced backward, landing on his bottom. However, despite his name, he quickly got back to his feet.

"Hydro Pump!"

Incineroar's eyes almost came out of his head while he was blasted in the gut with Slowking's strong attack. Incineroar was sent flailing into the air.

"Cross Chop!" Logan ordered.

And then, using gravity to his advantage, Incineroar plummeted back to the field with his arms crossed in front of his face. He struck as hard as he could, but Slowking didn't flinch.

"One more Hydro Pump!"

This time, Incineroar was ready. He ducked as Slowking opened his mouth, and when the Psychic-type blasted the water, Incineroar was in an easy position to dodge. However, when he came back to his side of the field, he held onto his stomach.

"The way that you talked about him, I thought that your Incineroar would be more of a threat," Itsuki exclaimed. "Slowking, use Flamethrower!"

"Show him how threatening you are! Use Flare Blitz!" Logan ordered.

As Slowking bellowed the stream of flames from his mouth, Incineroar dashed forward. The Fire-type fought through the flames, managing to fend them off. And then, he tackled Slowking as hard as he could. Unfortunately for him, Slowking did not budge. The king smiled down on the entertainer.

"Hydro Pump!"

Unable to dodge, Incineroar was blasted with the water. His body was thrown into the air and cracked against the ground in a matter of seconds. This time, he would not be getting back up.

"Incineroar is unable to continue!" the referee said.

"Even though he kept us enthralled, Incineroar was not enough for Slowking! With this, Logan is now down to his last two Pokémon!"

Logan withdrew Incineroar and then nodded. "Everyone is doing their part. Thank you."

"It looks like we've seen through your tricks. You're welcome to give up," Itsuki said.

"Nah," Logan exclaimed with a wide grin. "First Impression!"

And then, Logan threw his next Poké Ball into the air. Golisopod emerged and quickly flew down the field. He raised his massive claw and swiped, knocking Slowking off his feet. The Psychic-type fell over, and this time, it took him a while to stand back up.

"That was a cheap shot!" Itsuki yelled. "Amnesia and Future Sight!"

"Oh no. Use Throat Chop!" Logan instructed.

Now without the element of surprise, Golisopod was much slower. He waddled down the field while Slowking started his sequence of mental maneuvers. When Golisopod was within range, he crossed his arms and a black aura surrounded his body. He struck, and Slowking opened his eyes in shock.

"Did we stop it?" Logan wondered.

"Flamethrower!"

"Defend with Liquidation!"

Now enraged, Slowking growled as he unleashed his flames onto the Bug-type. Golisopod put up his arms, and aquatic energy engulfed his claws. However, his defensive technique wasn't good enough. The flames pushed him back, and he screeched from the pain. Eventually, the flames ceased, but the damage was done.

"This thing is a monster. No matter what we do, we can't seem to get an inch," Logan thought. Then, his eyes widened as a purple cloud formed overhead. "Golisopod, watch out!"

Purple kinetic lightning struck down from the sky, hitting Golisopod directly. The Bug-type let out a loud screech, and his body was engulfed in white light. As soon as the attack finished, Golisopod retreated back to his Poké Ball. And before anyone could register what had happened, Logan's Mightyena emerged on the field, slightly confused.

"Ah! What's this? Is Logan making an illegal substitution? What's happening, folks?" the announcer yelled perplexedly.

The referee raised his flag toward Logan. "Golisopod has retreated using his special ability, Emergency Exit. It is not a substitution and is therefore allowed! Let the battle continue!"

Logan sighed with relief. He hadn't considered what Golisopod was going to do naturally or the rules around his ability. Had his Pokémon been disqualified, he wasn't sure if he could win the whole battle.

"Mightyena, you've gotta give it all you got. We're at quite a disadvantage," Logan exclaimed. "Use Crunch!"

Mightyena barked and then started down the field. Black energy followed him, slowly forming into a giant set of jaws around his body.

"Hydro Pump!" Itsuki commanded.

Slowking growled before he launched the blast of water from his mouth.

"Underground!"

Mightyena was prepared for Logan's order. He leaped into the air and stuck out his front claws. As soon as he hit the ground, he started digging. And within a matter of seconds, he was underground, avoiding Slowking's powerful attack.

"Where did he go?" the announcer wondered.

But then, Mightyena answered the announcer's question by coming up from under Slowking. The dark energy reappeared and swallowed Slowking whole. The Psychic-type let out a loud groan before slowly falling over. He hit the ground, shaking the field, and his body went limp.

"Slowking is unable to continue!" the referee announced.

"Finally. Now we just have to hope that we can get through the remaining two Pokémon. I know that Mightyena is strong enough to handle it, and if worse comes to worst, Golisopod will do his best. But if he has another Pokémon like Slowking, then it's going to be trouble," Logan thought while Itsuki withdrew his Pokémon.

"I'll give you this, Logan. The connection you share with your Pokémon is incredible. They're not just your Pokémon, they're your friends and partners. I like that," Itsuki said. "However, my Pokémon are my friends too. Jynx, let's go!"

Itsuki's Pokémon, a creature with purple skin and long blonde hair, emerged. She waved around her arms in a similar fashion to Dusclops while making provocative faces at Mightyena.

"It's still a Psychic-type, so we have the advantage! Use, Crunch!"

Mightyena started another forward charge, building up the sinister aura around his body.

Itsuki grinned and then snapped his fingers. "Fake Tears."

Once Mightyena was within striking distance, Jynx started to wail as loudly as she could. Everyone in the building put their hands over their ears, and Mightyena was stopped in his tracks.

"And now, Blizzard! Show them that you're more than just a Psychic-type!" Itsuki instructed.

With no easy escape, Jynx opened her mouth and released a freezing wind into the air. It blasted over Mightyena, sending him backward. He landed on his legs but shivered as the temperature suddenly dropped to a level he wasn't used to.

"If that's the case, then use Fire Fang!" Logan ordered.

Mightyena barked, and his maw was set aflame. He growled and then started to run forward, ready to grab ahold of Jynx with his powerful jaws.

"Another Blizzard," Itsuki said calmly.

Jynx waved around her hands and unleashed her attack once again. However, Logan and Mightyena were prepared this time.

"Underground!"

Mightyena ceased his attack and then started to dig, disappearing a split second before Blizzard would have connected with him.

"Be careful," Itsuki warned. "He could be anywhere."

Logan took in a deep breath and started to count in his head. The attack wasn't as fast this time, and the crowd went silent. "Let's go!"

Mightyena erupted from the earth behind Jynx. He quickly whipped around and bit down on the Ice-type. Fire exploded from his mouth, and Jynx let out a shriek.

"This one is ours," Logan said.

Itsuki smiled. "You fool. Lovely Kiss!"

Jynx stopped screaming and then glared at Mightyena. However, her glare quickly turned into a lustful gaze, and she kissed Mightyena on the forehead. The Dark-type let go of his grip, and he took a few steps backward. Then, he collapsed, falling into a deep sleep.

"No! Mightyena, wake up!" Logan yelled.

Itsuki leisurely stretched out his arms in front of his body and then cracked his neck. "Normally, I'd destroy your Pokémon with Dream Eater, but I know that it won't work on your Dark-type fiend. But, with an easy target, Jynx will have no problem hitting Blizzard."

"Jynx!" his Pokémon called while releasing a strong wind from her mouth. The wind picked up Mightyena before throwing him backward. He hit the ground hard, and unfortunately for Logan, he did not wake up.

However, the referee could see that there was still fight left in the Dark-type, and he didn't raise his flag.

"One more!"

"Wake up, Mightyena!"

But, Mightyena did not wake up. Instead, he was blasted backward yet again, landing in the middle of the field. The Dark-type's tongue came out of his mouth as he continued to dream.

"Mightyena, let's go!" Logan yelled.

"It's futile, Logan. This battle is mine! Jynx, finish this with Blizzard! Give it all you got!"

"Mightyena!"

Jynx screeched as she unleashed the wind from her mouth yet again. This time, the wind and snow were strong, hiding the field from the crowd. The wind covered Mightyena, and everyone gasped. They were left to wait for the attack to finish.

"Is this the end for Mightyena?" the announcer wondered.

Jynx ceased her attack and breathed heavily. The wind and snow disappeared, and to everyone's surprise, Mightyena was missing, a hole in the ground left in his place.

"What?!"

"That's right! Mightyena, use Fire Fang!" Logan instructed. He felt like there was a hole in his chest, but he quickly got feeling back once he saw that Mightyena had escaped.

Mightyena's head came from underground, and he latched his jaw onto Jynx's dress. Flames exploded from his mouth, and Jynx let out a pained cry. Mightyena slowly stood up, not letting go of the squirming Psychic-type.

"Now, Crunch!"

The black aura surrounded Mightyena, forming a giant set of jaws. Jynx could do nothing as she watched the jaws hover above her. Then, they snapped down, and her cries were silenced. The aura wafted away from both of the Pokémon, and Jynx hit the ground.

"Jynx is unable to continue!" the referee declared.

"And just like that, Logan makes a comeback! It's now two against one! However, let's not forget that both Mightyena and Golisopod have taken quite a bit of damage!"

Logan eyed Mightyena while he limped down to his half of the field. The Dark-type was wobbly, but he tried not to show it.

"I hope that you've not yet exhausted all of your options," Itsuki said while withdrawing Jynx. "My last Pokémon isn't going to be easy."

"Do your worst," Logan exclaimed.

"Oh, we will. Let's go, Slowbro!" Itsuki called while throwing his last Poké Ball forward.

A Pokémon emerged. He was almost a mirrored image of the Slowking from before, but the heavy shell was not on his head, but rather on his tail. He had a dopey expression on his face, but Logan knew better than to judge.

Then, Itsuki raised his arm, revealing a small band with an orb placed in the middle. The orb started to glow, and the air in the gym shifted. Rainbow color energy whipped around, while Logan went into shock. The energy engulfed Slowbro and then imploded, revealing a new form. Now, the shell had almost consumed the entire of Slowbro, leaving on his arms and head. He had to balance on the pointed end, but he made it happen with his psychic powers.

"Not mega evolution," Logan muttered.

"Curse!" Itsuki called.

"Mightyena, we have to make everything count! Use Play Rough!"

While Slowbro wobbled back and forth and focused his energy, Mightyena bounded down the field. The Dark-type leaped into the air and launched a pink orb of energy from his paw. The orb exploded when it reached Slowbro, turning into a pink mist. Then, Mightyena dove in and started to batter Slowbro.

The crowd waited with bated breath, but when the smoke cleared, it appeared like Slowbro had taken no damage. Instead, he started to slowly chortle.

"That's not good," Logan said.

"One more Curse. For good measure," Itsuki commanded with a cocksure grin.

"Then, we'll use Crunch!"

Slowbro started to charge more energy once more. Mightyena was within striking range immediately. The black aura surrounded his body, and he snapped forward, letting the energy snap down onto Slowbro. This time, the Psychic-type reacted, but only with a smile.

"Even if super-effective, your attacks won't do anything," Itsuki said. "Slowbro, Body Slam!"

Slowbro rocked back before he quickly came hurtling forward, slamming his body into Mightyena. The Dark-type yelped while he took a few steps backward. Then, sparks emitted from his fur.

"Paralyzed?!"

"Oh, that's too bad," Itsuki said.

"It looks like this Slowbro is going to be another immovable object! And what's worse, Mightyena is now paralyzed!"

"Try one more Crunch! He can only take so much!" Logan instructed.

Mightyena tried to step forward and charge his attack. However, he stuttered, and the dark aura failed to build around him.

"We win," Itsuki said. "Surf!"

Slowbro started to spin, and water circled around his body. He road the waves forward, washing over Mightyena. The Dark-type was sucked into the waves and forced back to his side of the field. When the waves washed away, Mightyena's body was limp.

The referee held up his white flag. "Mightyena is unable to continue!"

"Mightyena is finished, and now both trainers are down to their last Pokémon! Will Golisopod be enough?!"

Logan withdrew Mightyena and then drew out Golisopod's ball, bringing it close to his mouth. "Hey, it's just you. But, I know that you can do it. I need you to be as calm as you can. Don't panic. You can win this."

Itsuki grinned. "Golisopod has already suffered enough. Why not just forfeit?"

"We don't forfeit! First Impression!"

"What?!"

Golisopod exploded from the ball and then zoomed forward. He swiped with his massive claw, forcing Slowbro to spin a few rotations on his shell. He almost lost his balance, but quickly got back up and waited for Itsuki's command.

"Surf!"

"Golisopod, go with the flow!" Logan ordered.

As Slowbro generated the water that he needed for his strike, Golisopod took in a deep breath. Slowbro blasted his attack, but Golisopod turned around. He held out his arms wide and let the waves wash over his body. He kicked up his legs and started to swim with the water, taking little damage. When the water washed away, Golisopod looked at Itsuki and snickered.

"Are you playing?" Itsuki asked, irritated.

"Might as well try to have fun," Logan said. "Liquidation!"

Golisopod stuck out his claw, and using the water on the ground, he quickly built up the aquatic energy he needed. Then, he started to run down the field.

"Stop him with Psychic!" Itsuki commanded.

Slowbro balanced straight, and his eyes started to glow blue. A blue aura then surrounded Golisopod's body, and he was stopped in his tracks. He was then tossed into the air, landing on his back.

"One more," Itsuki snapped.

"Golisopod, use Throat Chop!"

As the psychic aura took over Golisopod once again, his claws became covered in black energy. He swiped, cutting through the aura. Then, he raced forward. In a matter of seconds, he was in front of Slowbro, and before Itsuki could make any command, he crossed his claws and jabbed at Slowbro, hitting him directly in the throat. Slowbro spun around, his focus broken.

"And Liquidation!" Logan called while pointing in the air.

Golisopod reeled back, and his massive claw was surrounded by aquatic energy. He then swiped, hitting the middle of Slowbro's shell. However, the Psychic-type didn't budge.

"Really?" Logan muttered.

"Surf!"

Slowbro used the momentum that he received from the attack, and he continued to spin. He whipped up the waves around his body before he blasted them forward, taking Golisopod by surprise.

"And Psychic! Don't let them play! End this!" Itsuki commanded.

Slowbro stopped spinning, and he lowered his head. His eyes turned blue, and the gym started to shake. He stopped Golisopod and then threw him as hard as he could into the ground. Golisopod grunted as he hit the ground, and he tried to push himself back up, but Slowbro used his attack to hold him down.

"Golisopod, give it all you got! He's only acting tough! Use Liquidation!" Logan ordered.

Golisopod put his massive claw against the ground, and all of the water started to surround him. The water formed around Golisopod to make him look ten times bigger. He roared and then looked down at Slowbro. Then, he struck, and the water exploded into the air. It rained down on both Pokémon as they stared at each other in the eyes. Slowbro grinned.

When the rain stopped, Itsuki started to laugh.

"You really think that's going to be enough? My Slowbro's defenses are too strong for any Water-type attack! You can't win, Logan!"

"Throat Chop!"

In the blink of an eye, Golisopod snapped forward. He struck his claws against Slowbro's throat, and everyone went silent. It felt like an eternity of waiting, but eventually, the Psychic-type finally lost his balance, falling backward completely. His head and arms flopped limp, and Itsuki's mask fell off from shock.

The referee raised his purple flag. "Slowbro is unable to continue! Itsuki is out of usable Pokémon! The winner of this battle is Logan Stephenson!"

"He did it! He actually did it!"

The crowd started to cheer, and the small gym shook. Logan and Golisopod were left in shock, and they stood still momentarily.

"I did it?" Logan wondered. He wobbled back, took in a deep breath, and then ran down the field to his Golisopod. "We did it!"

"Goli," his Pokémon muttered before retreating back into his ball without being told. Logan was then left alone in the middle of the field. He couldn't help but laugh.

Itsuki sighed and then withdrew Slowbro. "I can't believe I lost my first battle as an Elite Four member. You're strong, Logan. I'm not sure how you'll fare against the others, but I now have no reason to root against you."

Logan smiled and then looked over at Mr. Goodshow, who gave him a thumbs up.

After the battle, Logan stayed behind to sign a few autographs. And he ate dinner with Mr. Goodshow and Itsuki. The Psychic-type trainer wasn't sour about his loss, and they got to talking about their different journeys. Itsuki was world-traveled, including Unova. He even told Logan that because the people in Unova struggled to say his name, he received an English one, Will.

When autographs and dinner were over, Logan returned to the Pokémon Center. When it was late, he went to the public bath and entered alone. He washed his hair and body in the showers before dipping himself into the steaming hot baths. Then, he raised his Master Ball and pushed the button, allowing Wooper to materialize in the water.

"So, just a Wooper, huh?" Logan wondered while his Pokémon swam back and forth. Logan found the careless nature of the Pokémon endearing. "I guess I wouldn't have it any other way."

He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath.

"Next. Koga."

Author's Notes: And after roughly a year and a half, we have our first battle finished. What'd you think? I'm gonna try to write each battle in a different way. My plan for Koga is to make him incredible unpredictable. I just recently played through Crystal, and he was the Elite Four member I like the least.

REVIEWS:

pokemonking0924 - "It's great seeing Logan again and the hot springs incident was hilarious. Too bad the master ball caught a common wooper, unless it has a move it doesn't learn naturally or has its species hidden ability. The battle with Itsuki is going great so far and I like the surprise appearance of that Wyrdeer." - If we ever see Wooper in battle, we'll have to see what he can do! I'm not quite sure yet.

pokestets23 - "The Wooper thing is so funny! I like the addiition of Wyrdeer." - Wooper is actually in the cover art for this story.

wisdom-jewel - "I think its cute that Wooper caught itself using a Masterball. Logan isn't happy but I wonder if Wooper becomes an important part of the team, As for Wyrdeer, meh for me. I would like to see how you explain on how Ituski have it on her team." - I just see it as Wyrdeer is still a possible Pokemon, but no one knows how to evolve Stantler. Itsuki can sort of read Stantler's mind, so he figured it out.

CrescentApple - "I partly laughed and partly thought "Ooof, that's painful" when Logan accidentally captured a Wooper. Imagine the media when Logan sends out a Wooper from a master ball? They'll either think it's a joke, or some super powerful pokemon. I'm liking the battle, and I'm surprised Luna already defeated Bruno. That gal has some huge potential." - I don't think that he'll be using Wooper in this story, but we'll get cute moments before all of his battles. Wooper will become his Johto buddy.
