25. King
King put an arm around Masamune's neck.
"Hey! Why didn't you tell me that Ginga and Kyouya are dating?"
King had just faced the legendary blader of spring. Kyouya had never stopped talking about Ginga. What could be considered rivalry from afar had a completely different meaning when one looked closer.
Masamune gave him an empty look. "Huh?"
King refrained from rolling his eyes. "Ginga and Kyouya. They're dating."
"WHAT?!"
So Masamune hadn't hidden this information intentionally. He just hadn't realize it.
"Didn't you travel with Ginga during the World Championships?"
This question was only rhetorical: Masamune had told King several times he was one of Beyblade's world champions. He even showed him articles and a photo of him holding the cup.
Maybe Ginga's not as chatty as Kyouya about it.
Although it seemed odd to King: Ginga seemed like the kind of person who would talk to his friends about everything crossing his mind.
Or maybe he doesn't share Kyouya's feelings.
Which would be sad, given how in love seemed Leone's blader–after all, he'd spent a whole duel telling an almost stranger how incredible, how strong, how interesting Ginga was and how his life revolved around him.
"Now that you say so," Masamune resumed in a thoughtful tone. "Ginga became weird when we talked about Kyouya during the World Championships."
"What do you mean?"
Masamune began to give him examples and King couldn't hide his shock. How did his friend not realize this before? However, he was able to conclude something pleasant:
Ginga was absolutely in love with Kyouya, too.
