The next day, after the team, minus Lila who stayed with Morgan picked up Bruce Banner.

He introduced himself to her properly who explained to her his knew Hulk/ Banner combination which surprised her.

Having known about Hulk since she was a kid.

Being obsessed with all of them thanks to her dad and aunt.

They all gathered in the main workshop of the compound.

One wall was a façade of floor to ceiling windows.

Scott parked his brown van inside while Bruce was at the control panel he set up for the Quantum Realm.

Scott himself in his Quantum Realm suit.

Lila had a tablet in her hand, offering to help out while Bruce guided her through the setup.

Scott opened up the backdoors as Bruce told Lila how to open up the Quantum tunnel.

"Whoa…" she said amazed at the vortex.

Nat was watching them work with pride while Steve walked in.

"Breakers are set, emergency generators are on standby." he told the team while heading towards them.

"Good. Cause if we blow the grid, I don't wanna lose Tiny here in the 1950's." Bruce joked nonchalantly, alarming Scott.

Lila frowned.

"Excuse me?" he asked nervously.

"He's kidding…." Nat reassured him with a smile.

"Just… It was a bad joke." Bruce added but Lila leaned into his ear.

"You were kidding, right…?" she asked unsure.

"I have no idea. We're talking about time travel here. Either it's all a joke, or none of it is." he whispered back but gave Scott a thumbs up.

"We're good! Get your helmet on, Scott. I'm gonna send you back a week, let you walk around for an hour, then bring you back in 10 seconds. Makes sense?" he asked him casually.

"Perfectly not confusing…" Scott waved him off.

"Don't worry Scott. We're all here." Lila reassured him.

"Yeah, thanks…" he said, still unsure of himself.

"Good luck, Scott. You got this." Steve said determined.

"You're right. I do, Captain America…" Scott said but Bruce activated the tunnel, causing him to shrink and disappear back into it instantly.

Amazing the teenager who went wide eyed.

"On the count of three… two… one…" Bruce pressed the same button, bringing Scott back.

Lila frowned, seeing a young teenager in the same spot and suit where Scott should be.

"Uh guys? This… doesn't feel right?" she heard a higher pitched voice from him.

"Uh….?" she said with a finger raised with confusion.

"What's going on?" Bruce asked bewildered.

"That...who is that?" Nat added.

"Hold on…" Bruce said while fiddling with the panel.

Lila began scrolling through the controls on her tablet. Feeling out of her league mentally.

"Is that Scott?" Nat asked again.

"Yes, it's Scott!" teenaged Scott exclaimed.

Bruce managed to send him back into the tunnel but seconds later he appeared as an old man.

"Ow! My back!" he winced.

"That's not, uh…" Lila said dumfounded.

"Can I get a little space here?" Bruce asked the team.

"Yeah, yeah. Can you bring him back?" Steve asked.

Everyone shuffling backwards.

"I'm working on it!" Bruce said while going through the control panel.

Scrambling to bring him back.

He reappeared but Lila frowned again, seeing a baby in the suit.

"It's a baby…" she stated, feeling defeated.

"It's Scott." Bruce corrected.

"As a baby!" Steve repeated.

"He'll grow." Bruce joked.

"Bring Scott back!" he ordered.

"When I say kill the power, kill the power…" he asked Lila.

"Oh God…" she groaned but ran over to the switch on the side wall.

Gripping it tightly.

"And… kill it!" Bruce shouted.

She pulled the lever, killing the power in the compound but normal aged Scott came out of the tunnel.

"Somebody peed my pants." he said while catching his breath.

Lila breathed a sigh of relief.

"Oh thank God." Nat said with relief.

"But I don't know if it was "baby" me or "old" me...Or just "me" me." Scott added.

"Time travel!" Bruce declared with a raise of his hands triumphantly. Lila just shook her head.

"What? I see this as an absolute win!"

Having her hopes of getting her family back crushed, Lila set the tablet down, she walked out of the room silently.

"Lila! Lila…" she heard her Aunt's voice call for her.

She sighed and turned around.

"I'm fine Auntie Nat. I should have known this whole thing would be stupid." she said with defeat.

Nat put a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"I wouldn't give up on Bruce just yet. If anyone can figure this out it's him." she said, trying to cheer her.

She crossed her arms unconvinced. "I didn't let my self have much from this so don't worry. I'm fine. I just need to step outside for a minute." Lila said.

Nat let her go sadly and watched her niece walk down the hall.

She stepped outside into the cool spring air.

It was a bright sunny day out and she leaned against a column in the outside foyer.

She pulled out her phone from her hoodie pocket and began scrolling through old family photos.

Getting lost in them while swiping the screen she heard the double doors open behind her.

Putting it in her jeans pocket, she turned around to see Steve walking up to her.

"Are you okay?" he asked concerned.

"Yeah, I'm fine…." she began but the two heard tire squealing by the front gate.

They turned their heads to see Tony speeding up the driveway towards them.

He drove past them but hit the brakes.

Reversing, he lowered the window and glanced his head sideways silently.

Steve raise an eyebrow.

"Hi, Mr. Stark." Lila greeted with a wave.

"Lila." he nodded back but looked over to Steve.

"Why the long face? Let me guess, He turned into a baby." he asked knowingly.

"Among other things, yeah. What are you doing here?" Steve asked back.

Tony got out and walked back to the trunk.

"That's the EPR Paradox. Instead of pushing Lang through time, you might've wound up pushing time through Lang. It's tricky. Dangerous. Somebody should've cautioned you against it." he explained.

"You did." Steve reminded him.

Lila listened on silently to the two Avengers.

"Oh, did I? Thank God I'm here. Regardless, I fixed it." he reached for a control device in his palm and held it out for them.

Lila dropped her mouth in shock.

"A fully functioning Time Space GPS. I just want peace." he held up a peace sign and gave the device to Lila.

"Uh, Lila give that to Banner. Rogers and I need to talk." he asked while nodding towards him.

"Sure." she nodded eagerly and walked back inside the compound.

Nearly sprinting down the halls back to the workshop where Bruce, Nat and Scott were beginning to clean up.

"Hey guys!" she called them out.

"Yes, sweetheart?" Nat asked but saw the happiness on her face.

"A gift from Mr. Stark." she said and walked up to give it to Bruce.

"Time travel is now a possibility." she told the group.

"Whoa… we can navigate thee Quantum Realm?" Scott asked her and she nodded.

"Yes…" she said and turned back to her Aunt. And hugged her.

"I have hope now." she said, warming her heart.

Nat hugged her niece back.

"I'm glad."

An hour later, the team heard news that Rocket and Nebula were returning on the Benatar.

They were gonna use it to fly to New Asgard to pick up Thor.

Lila asked her Aunt if she could go with Bruce and Rocket which she allowed.

With her sword strapped to her back, she walked out to the front yard but heard the roar of its engines.

Looking up, she saw it landing, feeling the powerful thrust blow her long hair around.

Once it settled she tucked it back around her ear and then over to a disheveled Scott on the adjacent bench.

Having what was left of a taco in his hand.

She began walking forward and saw the ramp lower.

Nebula walking down it and towards her. Rocket at the bottom of the ramp.

"Hey, humie! Where's big Green?" he asked Scott.

"Uh, kitchen, I think…" he answered as Nebula walked him.

"That's awesome." he complimented about The Benetar but she spoke into her comm piece.

"Rhodey, careful on re-entry. There's an idiot on the landing zone." she warned.

She smirked at Lila who smiled back right as War Machine landed hard right in front of Scott.

"Oh God!" he gasped in shock while Rhodey took off his faceguard.

"What's up, regular sized man?" he taunted.

Lila walked onto the yard and approached the space ship in awe.

Looking up at it.

"Hey watch it with that sword! I don't want anything sliced on my ship!" Rocket said with exaggeration.

"Geez, why would I slash your ship?" she asked with amusement. Looking down at him.

Causing him to mutter dramatically under his breath.

"Just don't touch anything!"

Lila was strapped in the front seat, along with Bruce while Rocket flew the ship to New Asgard, which happened to be in Norway.

Amazed by the fact that she was in an actual spaceship which was playing "My Supersonic Ship" from a Zune.

They landed near a coastal fishing village by a bay and got into a bed of a truck.

Driving down the rolling green hills towards the sea, Lila rested her head on her knees as the driver pulled up to the harbor.

The Missouri native smelling the salty sea breeze.

She got out and looked around at the Asgardians unloading their fishing hauls.

Loading pots and their catch on the dock.

"Kind of a step down from a golden palace and magic hammers and whatnot." Rocket insulted.

"Hey, have a little compassion, pal. First they've lost Asgard, then half the people. They're probably just happy to have a home." Bruce said but Lila spotted a woman loading fish ahead of them.

"Ah, Valkyrie! Great to see you, Angry Girl!" Bruce greeted with a smile.

She tilting her head at his new appearance.

"I think I like you better either of the other ways." she replied.

"This is Rocket, and Lila." he introduced them with a gesture of his arm.

"Hi." Lila greeted with a wave.

Valkyrie spotted the sword strapped to her back.

"He won't see you." she warned.

"That bad, uh?" Bruce asked. Lila frowned with understanding.

"We only see him once a month, when he comes for… supplies…" Valkyrie said while nodding sideways towards a few kegs of ale.

"It's that bad…" Bruce sighed.

"Yeah." she nodded.

"Uh, Lila why don't you stay out here. It may be better this way." Bruce asked gently.

"Yeah, don't worry. I get it." she reassured him, understanding the hint.

He nodded back and she watched him and Rocket walk up the road towards a cottage on top of the hill.

She pulled out her phone to text her Aunt.

"Do you know how to use that?" she heard Valkyrie's voice, asking about her sword.

Putting it away to see her approaching her and nodded.

"Yeah. It was my dad's although I've only really practiced with it…" she said while reaching back to grab it.

Extending it away from her she brought out the collapsible blade.

Valkyrie raised an eyebrow.

"I wasn't aware blades on Midgard were still popular." she said.

"Well it's not my primary weapon. I have a bow and…" she began but stopped, hearing how ridiculous that sounded in 2023.

Seeing Valkyrie smirk with amusement.

"I promise you they aren't normal bow and quivers!" the teenager said dramatically with a smile.

"I'll take your word for it." Valkyrie replied.

"So, uh you have a sword?" Lila asked.

"I do. Although it is quite different from yours."

An hour later, Valkyrie kindly showed Lila her blade, explaining its origins.

The seventeen year old being amazed that it was thousands of years old. .

Along with her Teaching her some pointers on her stance and strike currently.

Reaching behind her to correct her footwork with her feet.

"See, so know you won't be nearly as exposed when striking your opponent." she explained.

Lila nodded and repeated what she taught her.

"Not bad." Valkyrie complimented.

She smiled.

"Thanks. Although I haven't seen any battles yet." she joked.

"That is fortunate for you." Lila heard the seriousness in her voice.

She frowned, still holding her sword but looked over her shoulder to see Bruce and Rocket heading back towards them.

Failing to hide the surprise on her face to see what the God had become.
