The next day, the remaining Avengers began working on the new plan to time travel to other universes using the Quantum Realm.

In the workshop, a much larger tunnel was being built. It encompassing the entire floor of the shop.

Lila was helping Rocket build the platform.

It being circular and on supports.

Herself and him currently upside down underneath it.

Wearing goggles and welding two medal supports together.

Spending all morning doing so but she found to be enjoying working with Rocket.

And his crude language and jokes which she found to be funny.

She arched her head to get an upside down view of the chamber, seeing Thor walking in while opening a can of beer.

And Tony pulling a cart of supplies towards them past him.

"Drifting left. On the side there, Lebowski. Ratchet, Barton, How's it going?" he asked them.

"It's Rocket. Take it easy. You're only a genius on Earth, pal." Rocket told him.

Lila smiled.

"We're actually almost done with the platform…" she said before somersaulting down and landing on her feet.

Wincing from hanging upside for hours. Walking towards Tony while taking off the faceguard.

"I'm gonna take a break if you wanna take over?" she asked, handing him the welder.

"Yeah, sure."

Lila walked over to join the others in an adjacent room.

Crossing her arms and leaning against the doorway.

Scott was in the middle in a new white Quantum Realm suit with Bruce, Steve Rhodey and Nebula.

"Time travel suit? Not bad?" Rhodey complimented.

A compartment on Scott's waist opened up and Bruce picked up a glass tube with a red liquid inside.

He tried putting in inside but Scott stopped him.

"Hey, hey, hey! Easy, easy!" he exclaimed.

"I'm being very careful." Bruce reassured him.

"No, you're being very Hulky." he argued.

"What are those things anyway Scott?" Lila asked curiously.

Scott held one up for her.

"These are Pym Particles, alright? And ever since Hank Pym got snapped out of existence, this is it. This is what we have. We're not making any more…" he warned nervously.

She put her hands up.

"Geez, sorry…" she apologized.

He took a deep breath.

"Sorry. We've got enough for one round trip each. That's it. No do-overs. Plus two test runs…" the control panel touch screen on his wrist suddenly activated, causing him to shrink and then grow back instantly.

Lila frowned, seeing his helmet reopening.

"One test run." he sighed.

"All right. I'm not ready for this." he groaned.

"I'll do it." Lila spoke up.

Everyone turned back to her in surprise.

"Lila…" she heard her Aunt gasp behind her.

Cringing she slowly turned her head around back to her surprised Aunt.

After a discussion, with extreme reluctance Nat allowed her to perform the test run.

Mainly because Bruce reassured and explained to her that nothing would happen to her.

And she couldn't stop Lila even if she tried.

Nat beginning to notice she was just as stubborn as her father.

Lila dressed into her own Quantum Realm suit.

Herself getting psyched up while Bruce and Nebula finished with the last minute diagnostics.

Herself bouncing her foot nervously.

Nat standing next to her.

"Now uh, Lila, Nat she's gonna feel a little discombobulated from the chronoshift. Don't worry about it." Bruce told them.

"As long as she comes back like you said." Nat replied nervously.

"Don't worry Nat." he repeated.

She nodded reluctantly.

"Wai-Wait a second, let me ask you something. If we can do this, you know, go back in time, why don't we just find baby Thanos, you know, and…" Rhodey suggested and made a strangle with rope gesture with his fingers.

Surprising Lila.

"First of all, that's horrible..." Bruce said in disgust.

"It's Thanos." he argued.

"And secondly, time doesn't work that way. Changing the past doesn't change the future." Bruce tried explain.

"Look, we go back, we get the stones before Thanos gets them... Thanos doesn't have the stones. Problem solved." Scott agreed.

"That's not how all this works right?" Lila asked Bruce.

"Well…" he began to explain but she interrupted him.

"We're not just time travelling. I'm going to another universe basically." she said, it still sound crazy coming out of her mouth.

Nat beamed with pride.

"Well…. Uh… yeah… Lila…" he said impressed.

"That's not what I heard." Rhodey argued.

"What? By who? Who told you that?" Bruce asked him.

"Star Trek, Terminator, TimeCop, Time After Time…" he began to list.

"Quantum Leap…" Scott added.

"A Wrinkle in Time, Somewhere in Time…" Rhodey continued.

"Hot Tub Time Machine…" Scott said and Lila giggled.

"Hot Tub Time Machine. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Basically, any movie that deals with time travel." Rhodey said.

"Die Hard? No, it's not one." Scott said, shaking his head.

"This is known." Rhodey said confidentially.

"I don't know why everyone believes that, but that isn't true. Think about it, If you travel to the past, that past becomes your future. And your former present becomes the past. Which can't now be changed by your new future..." Bruce tried clarifying.

"Exactly." Nebula nodded.

"That's what I already kinda said." Lila muttered.

"So... Back To The Future's a bunch of bullshit?"

Everyone gathered on the platform of the newly built Quantum Tunnel.

Lila was in the center of it. Bruce was at the control panel to the side.

Taking deep breaths, bouncing her heel nervously.

She turned back to Nat.

"You sure you wanna do this Lila?" she asked her.

Knowing where she was about to return.

"I do. I need to do this Auntie Nat." she said with determination.

"Alright, Lila. We're going in three… two… one…!" her helmet which was similar to Scott's but white and with a larger faceguard popped over her head and she instantly shrank into the Quantum Realm.

Flying into the realm itself, she saw the cosmic energy flow around her, her HUD showing her the way through.

It pointed towards an opening and she banked right towards it.

She grew back to her normal size while screaming in pain.

Her helmet opened while she collapsed to her knees.

Taking a deep breath she looked around where she was and went wide eyed.

She was in the barn!

At the farm!

Her trembling knees got up but.

Walking hesitantly outside, the farm and the house looked like it did… before.

It was 2017 and a bright sunny day outside.

Walking up to the porch steps slowly but stopped at the second step, afraid to meet her family.

"Cooper, give your sister back her headphones!" she heard Clint's voice.

She choked out a gasp.

"Dad!" she cried out while rushing up the steps but the panel began to beep.

"Dad! Cooper… Mom…!" she screamed with tears of joy in her eyes as she ran through the screen door but her helmet came back on and she shrank back into the Quantum Realm.

After she shrank down, Clint walked from the kitchen to see the screen door open.

He frowned, walking to the doorway and peaked his head outside.

Raising an eyebrow then back upstairs where he knew his kids were upstairs but closed it.

Lila forced herself to fly back to the present and to the others she instantly appeared.

The panel deactivating while she screamed in pain and collapsed like she did before.

Her helmet opening up, she saw her Aunt rushing up to her.

"Hey, hey. Look at me. You okay?" she asked with worry.

Lila managed to not but smiled, knowing what she just did.

"I saw them…" she told her. "Dad, mom… Cooper…" she spoke louder, looking up to the group watched on.

"It works! It worked!" she said with glee. Laughing at the end with joy and hugging her Aunt.

Nat hugged her back as everyone smiled at them.

Lila changed out of her suit and into a pair of jeans and one of her plaid shirts before joining the others in the conference room.

Setting down a notebook and pen in her lap as she sat down next to her Aunt at the table.

Holographics of each Infinity Stone were displayed in front of them.

The team was trying to come up with a plan to get them all back in each point in time and space.

Tony, Steve, and Bruce were up front, leading the group.

Pacing around in front of the table

"Okay, so the "how" works. Now we gotta figure out the when and the where. Almost all of us has had an encounter with at least one of the six Infinity Stones…" Steve began.

"Well I'd substitute the word encounter for damn well near been killed by one of the six Infinity Stones." Tony added.

Lila frowned, not liking the sound of that.

"I haven't." she said with a hand raised.

"I don't even know what the hell you're all talking about." Scott said next to the other side of her.

"Regardless, we only have enough Pym Particles for one round trip each, and these stones have been in a lot of different places throughout history." Bruce explained.

"Our history. So, not a lot of convenient spots to just drop in." Tony warned.

"Which means we have to choose our targets." Lila said as he walked by her.

"Correct." he said with a nod.

She smiled back at him.

"Let's start with the Aether. Thor, what do you know?" Steve asked him.

Everyone turned to the back corner of the room where he was sitting down.

Behind a pair of sunglasses.

His longer beard and hair covering his face.

Lila frowned, unable to tell if he was awake.

"Is he asleep?" Nat asked.

"No I'm pretty sure he's dead." Rhodey joked dryly.

Thor got up and approached the holographic of the Reality Stone.

Taking off his sunglasses and putting eyedrops in his artificial eye.

"Where to start? Umm... The Aether, first, is not a stone, someone called it a stone before. It's more of a... an angry sludge thing, so... someone's gonna need to amend that. Here's an interesting story though, many years ago... My grandfather had to hide the stones from the Dark Elves..." he made a spooky noise and gesture with his fingers dramatically.

"Wooooh, scary beings. So Jane…" he said while an image of Jane Foster appeared on the graphic next to him.

"Oh, there she is. That's Jane... She's... an old flame of mine... She... she stuck her hand inside a rock this one time... and then the Aether stuck itself inside her... And, she became very, very sick. So I had to take her to Asgard, which is where I'm from. And we had to try and fix her. We were dating at the time, you see. I got to introduce her to my Mother... who's dead…" he said, choking out at the end.

Lila's heart breaking for the God.

"And oh you know, Jane and I aren't even dating anymore, these things happen though you know, nothing last forever…" he said sadly.

Tony walked up and grabbed his shoulder, trying to get him to sit down.

"I'm not done yet, the only thing permanent in life is impermanence." Thor continued.

"Awesome. Eggs? Breakfast?" Tony tried again.

"I'd like a Bloody Mary, thank you."

They day dragged on and they were all still planning.

Nat ordered Chinese food for them so they were having lunch in the conference room along with Ben and Jerry's for dessert.

Her and her niece sharing a meal next to each other.

Lila eating the box of noodles with chopsticks in her hands.

Rocket walking on the table itself in the middle of everyone.

Explaining the origins of the Power Stone to them.

"Quill said he stole the Power Stone from Morag." he said.

"Is that a person?" Scott asked confused.

"Morag's a planet. Quill was a person." he clarified.

"A planet? Like another planet?" Lila asked with her mouth full.

"Like in outer space?" Scott asked as well.

"Oh, look. It's like a little puppy, all happy and everything. "Do you wanna go to space? You wanna go to space, puppy? I'll get you to space…" Rocket said in a mock voice.

Lila smirked.

After lunch, they made their way back to the planning room where Nebula was explaining what she knew about the Soul Stone.

Lila, having written everything down that everyone said for her notes was still scribbling down on it.

"Thanos found the Soul Stone on Vormir." Nebula explained.

"What's Vormir?" Lila asked her while looking down at her notebook.

"A dominion of death, at the very center of Celestial existence…" she said, getting her, Nat, and everyone else to look back up at her.

"It's where… Thanos murdered my sister." she said gravely.

Causing a deafening silence in the room.

Lila and Nat gave each other a worried look.

"Not it."

It was late in the evening now, leaving just Lila, Nat, Bruce, and Tony.

Lila was laying on the table next to her Aunt.

On top of the spread out notes and folders.

Getting tired after the long day of work.

Tony was sitting down on the chair with Bruce on his back on the floor.

A holographic of the Time Stone was above them.

"That Time Stone guy..." Nat asked.

"Doctor Strange." Bruce answered.

"What kind of Doctor is named Doctor Strange?" Lila asked confused.

"Ear-nose-throat meets rabbit from a hat." Tony joked.

"Nice place in the village, though." Bruce added.

"Yeah. Sullivan Street." Tony clarified.

"Hmm... Bleecker." Bruce corrected.

"Wait, he lived in New York?" Nat asked them.

"No. He lived in Toronto. Were you even paying attention?" Tony joked again.

"Guys, if you pick the right year, there are three stones in New York." she realized.

Lila dropped her mouth and arched her head over to her.

The others getting up, just realizing that.

"Shut the front door."

The team group up in front of the holograhics.

"The Soul and Power Stones in space in 2014. the Reality Stone in Asgard, 2013; and the Space, Mind, and Time Stones in New York 2012"

"All right. We have a plan. Six Stones, three teams. One shot." Steve said determined.

Lila and the others got up, looking even more confident.

They all suited up into their Quantum Real suits.

However there was an Avenger A on Lila's chest along with everyone else.

She looked up to the platform with her chin raised high.

Hoping to make her dad and Aunt proud.

The daunting mission laid heavy on the teenager's mind.

Tony and Steve were leading the group.

Her walking next to Aunt in the 2nd row behind them.

Her sword along with her bow and quivers strapped to her back.

The sun shined through the wall of windows.

The team walking up the steps and circled up.

"Five years ago, we lost. All of us. We lost friends... We lost family…" Steve began and glanced over to Lila.

Along with everyone else.

She took a deep breath and stared back at him.

"We lost a part of ourselves. Today, we have a chance to take it all back. You know your teams, you know your missions. Get the stones, get them back. One round trip each. No mistakes. No do-overs. Most of us are going somewhere we know. But it doesn't mean we should know what to expect. Be careful. Look out for each other. This is the fight of our lives. And we're gonna win…" he said confidently.

Sharing a look with Tony.

"Whatever it takes. Good luck." he told the team.

"He's pretty good at that." Rocket replied.

"Right?" Scott said excited.

"All right. You heard the man. Stroke those keys, jolly green." Tony asked Bruce.

"Tractors engaged." he confirmed.

Lila held out her hand, revealing a shrunken Benetar in her palm that was the size of a keychain.

Rocket glanced up to her nervously.

"You promise to bring that back in one piece, right?" he asked her seriously.

"Yeah, I totally got it. Don't worry." she waved him off with her free hand.

"As promises go, that was pretty lame." he muttered.

"See you in a minute." Nat said while smiling.

"Ready, partner?" Lila asked her proudly.

She smiled.

"Ready." she nodded.

Her along with everyone's helmet came on and she synced up her suit with the control panel on her wrist.

Typing in the destination, the panel activated and she shrank down along with everyone else into the tunnel.

She followed her Aunt to a gap, along with Rhodey and Nebula towards Morag.
