Rachel, Sasha, the Bad Guys, the Ghoul Girls, Madame Spook, and Mr. Horseman rushed outside Spookelton Castle and saw a beam of purple light shining toward the sky, penetrating the shadow clouds. The clouds began to dissipate, clearing the sky to reveal the moon. But instead of it's usual haunting white glow, the moon was glowing a sinister shade of purple. The purple light beam faded away.

"What in jack-o-lanterns was that?!" Mr. Horseman wailed.

"I don't know! I was on my way to the Scare Fair when that happened!" said Madame Spook.

"That was a magic geyser! Those only occur when someone casts incredibly powerful magic!" Rachel explained.

"And it changed the moon to glow purple?!" Sasha said, confused.

Everything was still and quiet like an empty grave. With a shaky hand, Pirahna ate more gut gummies. "Uh, i-is something b-b-bad gonna happen?!" he asked, cautiously looking over both shoulders.

"I think so." Rachel answered. "We've seen a lot of magic geysers in our lessons. But we never saw one that big!"

Just then, a rather unpleasant sound reached everyone's ears. It sounded like loud footsteps marching towards them. Off in the distance, he gang saw all kinds of ghosts and monsters heading for Spookelton Castle!

"What is going on?!" Vampirina screamed. Everything that was happening was scary and not in a good way.

"Everyone must be under some kind of spell and it has to do with that purple moon!" Madame Spook deduced.

"I think she's right!" said Wolf. "Look at their eyes!" He pointed to the monster mob. Their eyes were glowing purple. When the mind-controlled monsters heard the sound of Wolf's voice. Their faces broke into angry sneers.

Wolf froze as he felt the same kind of impending doom his friends did. The monsters began marching faster towards them.

"RUN!" Wolf screamed. Everyone did just that and ran back inside Spookelton Castle. Once inside, Madame Spook opened a case mounted on the wall. Inside was a big red button. She pressed it and an ear-splitting alarm blared off as a blue shimmer covered the entire castle.

"It's a specter shield." said Madame Spook. "No ghosts of any kind will enter through these walls or the floors."

Loud crashes were heard from the other side of the castle doors.

"But that won't stop other monsters from trying to break in!" said Vampirina. "I'll find things to barricade the door!" With her vampire speed, Vampirina zoomed off. The Bad Guys watched in astonishment as she gathered every heavy object she can find with her super strength. Within mere moments, the door was completely fortified. "There! Nothing's getting through that door!"

But the loud banging continued.

"Those brainwashed monsters won't stop until we find a way to snap them out of it!" said Sasha. "We have to stop them!"

Snake, Webs, Pirahna and Shark looked uncertain. "Uh, when you say, 'we', do you mean like, all of us 'we' or just you guys 'we'?" asked Shark.

"Shark!" Wolf chided.

"Wolf, I think Shark has a point." says Snake. "We may have been treated like monsters our whole lives. But we're not the real McCoy, y'know what I mean? We don't have powers like them! We can't do magic. Or fly. Or walk through walls. None of that!"

"Yeah! But we have our own skills!" Wolf replied. "Come on, you guys! We can't chicken out now!"

"He's right!" said Poppy. "We're humans but that didn't stop us from helping Vee with her monster problems and we manage to overcome them every time!"

"Indeed." said Madame Spook. "In fact, despite our strengths, most monsters feared humans because they began to learn our weaknesses! They would use their courage, strength, and ingenuity to use our weaknesses against us and force us into hiding!"

"Force you into hiding?!" said Wolf.

Madame Spook nodded. "Of course. Humans were so terrified of us, they wanted to destroy us! Why do you think we build this town in the most isolated, most human-free part of Transylvania?

"Yeah! Sure, we monsters like to give people a good scare. But it's all in harmless fun! Most humans take it the wrong way and soon enough, bam! They become monster hunters that want to kill us, dissect us, or put us in a freak show!" said Mr. Horseman.

Wolf couldn't believe his pointed ears. Even ghosts and monsters get so scared, they run and hide just like humans?!

"Wait a minute! Madame! What you just said about weaknesses! That's it!" said Rachel. "A magic geyser that big had to go off from a powerful magic source. If we shut down the source, we shut down the spell!"

Sasha snapped her fingers. "It came from the forest! And a huge spell like that must reek of magic! So..." She let out a loud whistle and scampering onto the scene were Moon and Lucky. "These little guys can sniff out the trail!"

"They can smell magic?!" asked Webs.

"Yeah, witches don't have familiars just for show. They have all kinds of powers." Sasha and Rachel got on their broomsticks with their respective cats on board. Madame Spook had brooms for everyone else as well. Wolf was on his broom and ready to roll. Snake decided to wrap himself around Wolf. Pirahna and Shark had their own broom while Webs hitched a ride on Shark. Rachel, Sasha, and Mr. Horseman were ready to roll.

"Ghoul luck, everyone!" said Madame Spook.

"You're not coming with us, Madame?" asked Wolf.

The ghostess shook her head. "Oh, no, Mr. Wolf. Spookelton Castle is my home. I must defend it with my afterlife."

"And I'm staying with her." said Pirahna. "Someone's gotta keep those loco monsturos from wrecking the place!"

"You?!" said Webs. "But your leg's broke!"

Pirahna gave his friend a defiant scowl. "So what? I got another one!"

Before any arguments could continue, the castle doors burst open. The monsters roared as they marched into the castle. The angry mob made Pirahna panic, he tried to eat more Gut Gummies, but he was all out. His stomach began to gurgle very, very loudly.

Wolf noticed this. He saw Pirahna drop to his knees as he held his rumbling stomach, sweat beading from his forehead. "I think...I'm gonna blow!" Pirahna grunted out. He squeezed his butt cheeks together as tight as he possibly could.

"That's it!" Wolf floated above Pirahna on his broomstick. "Pirahna! Grab on and don't let go!"

Slightly confused, Pirahna grabbed the broomstick and found himself dangling on as Wolf hovered in front of the monsters. "Listen, buddy. When I give the order, all that gas in your body, just let it all out!" Wolf ordered.

Catching on, Pirahna grinned and laughed. "Ohhhhh! I get it!"

On his broomstick, Wolf charged towards the mob head on. "NOW!"

Pirahna unclenched his butt cheeks and released his gas. Wolf flew above the mob as a massive green cloud of noxious fumes exploded from Pirahna's rear end and fell upon the mob. All the ghosts and monsters coughed and gagged from the horrible smell. Wolf flew out of the castle, making sure every ghoul was hit with Pirahna's gas. Instantly, the entire mob was knocked out cold. One by one they dropped like flies.

"OH, YEAH!" Pirahna cheered. He and Wolf landed outside the castle and fist-bumped.

"Nice job, buddy!" said Wolf.

"Ahem." said Sasha's voice. "Wolf turned around and saw her, Rachel, Madame Spook, Mr. Horseman, the Ghoul Girls, and the rest of the Bad Guys frowning at Wolf.

"You could have warned us about that!" snapped Snake.

"Seriously! We barely made it out the emergency exit with our lives!" said Shark.

When Wolf and Pirahana landed, Pirahna hissed in pain from his leg wound. "Just take five, buddy." Wolf told his friend. "You've had enough action."

"Mr. Pirahna and I will stay here!" said Madame Spook.

Rachel nodded. "Understood, Madame. Now..." The junior witch launched herself up on her broom. "Let's go find the source of the magic!"

"YEAAAAAH!" everyone else shouted.
