While Nodoka and Pepper were at the doctor's, Kagome and the others were on their way to the Central Park Zoo. Souta had brought his soccer ball so that after the zoo, he could play around with Logan and Peter, as he told Souta to call him. The group was walking towards the entrance to the zoo when Kagome suddenly squealed as someone picked her up and swung her around.

Logan laughed when he heard Kagome's alarmed squeal. When Kagome heard Logan laugh, she let out an indignant huff, "Put me down, Old Man."

Logan chuckled, "Only if you give me a kiss, Princess."

Logan set Kagome down; she turned around and wrapped her arms around Logan's neck, and kissed him deeply. Souta scrunched his nose and started making gagging noises. Logan and Kagome pulled away, and Logan ruffled Souta's hair.

"Just wait, Kid, pretty soon you're going to want girls to kiss you like that."

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean I want to see you and my sister kissing; that's gross!" Souta exclaimed.

The others chuckled at Souta's reaction. Kagome rolled her eyes and took Logan's hand, and they all headed into the zoo.

The group spent a few hours at the zoo and wandered around Central Park. They stopped at a hot dog stand to grab a quick bite to eat, then continued about their day. Eventually, they stopped so that Souta could kick the soccer ball around with Logan and Piotre. While Logan and Piotre played with Souta, Marie and Kagome sat on a blanket and watched, drinking water. They watched their boys laugh and play. Occasionally Logan would look at Kagome and grin.

"Logan truly loves you, doesn't he?" Marie asked.

Kagome giggled, "Yeah, he does, and I love him."

"I'm so happy for both of you. I hated seeing Jean take advantage of Logan, always stringing him along. I think he only likes her because of the chase. Logan would have been unhappy with her if they had gotten together. Jean didn't understand him the way you do. You guys are perfect for each other."

Kagome blushed, "Thanks, Marie; I think you and Piotre are great together too. You fit better than you and Bobby."

Rogue agreed, "Yeah, who would have thought that Colossus and I would be a couple, especially since I was with Bobby and he was with Kitty."

"I'm not bad-mouthing Kitty, but she was too weak for Pete. Not physically but personality; they didn't work as a couple. At least that's how I saw it," Kagome told her friend.

"Colossus needed someone with more spark in their personality, and that's you, Rogue. At the same time, Bobby needed someone more mellow, maybe more girly. Bobby was too vanilla for you."

"Yeah, you're right. I mean, I loved Bobby, but he wasn't the adventurous type. I mean, he was never on his own before, and once we graduated, Bobby went back to Boston, his comfort zone."

"Exactly! And you traveled all the way to Canada alone! While Piotre left Russia to come here. You and he are kindred spirits," Kagome told her best friend.

Rogue smiled, "Thanks, Kagome, and I think you and Logan are too."

At that moment, the boys return to the blanket, exhausted and sweaty. Piotre sat next to Rogue and kissed her cheek while Logan laid his head in Kagome's lap, and Kagome leaned down and kissed his lips while Souta made gagging sounds. She wiped the sweat off his brow with a napkin and gave him a water bottle. Kagome also made sure that her little brother was well-hydrated as well. They rested for a while then Souta insisted on going to the movies.

While this was happening, Nodoka and Pepper were returning to the Tower. Nodoka was in such a daze about finding out she was pregnant that Pepper was holding her hand, rubbing soothing circles, trying to get her to calm down.

"You know Tony will be thrilled when he finds out, right, Nodoka?" Pepper questioned.

"Will he?" Nodoka countered.

"Of course, he will. Since Tony found out that Kagome was his daughter, I've never seen him happier, and adopting Souta was the icing on the cake for him. Tony loves being a dad. I wouldn't be surprised if he's been planning to ask you to have more children," Pepper assured her friend.

Nodoka smiled at the thought, "You truly think so?"

"I've known Tony a long time; I know he's going to be over the moon to be a dad again."

With those words, Nodoka took a deep breath and sighed in relief. Of course, Tony would be happy to be a father again; she should never doubt that.

Nodoka and Pepper arrived at the Tower and took the elevator to the penthouse. Pepper turned to her friend, who looked a little nervous, "So, when do you plan on telling Tony you're pregnant?" Pepper asked.

Nodoka fidgeted a bit and twisted her fingers. Nodoka thought for a moment, "JARVIS, where is Tony?"

**Madam, Sir, is in his lab working on a new suit. Would you like me to inform sir you are looking for him?**

"No, Thank you, JARVIS; I'll go down there in a moment. Don't tell him I'm home, please." Nodoka informed the AI.

**Of course, Ma'am.**

Pepper looked at her friend and smiled, "You're going to tell Tony today?"

Nodoka giggled nervously, "There's no time like the present."

They got to the penthouse, and Pepper got out; she hugged her friend, "Everything will be fine, you'll see."

Nodoka nodded and returned the hug, then turned JARVIS to take her to Tony's lab. When she arrived, Nodoka could hear Tony blasting AC/DC through the speakers while he sat at his work table, bopping his head to the music as he worked on his new suit.

Nodoka smiled at how happy he looked in his element; she knew that nothing made Tony more comfortable than when he worked on new projects or with his family. She took a deep breath and typed in her pin, and the door opened. The minute the door opened, JARVIS lowered the music. Tony looked up from his work and noticed his wife at the door.

Tony beamed at his wife, "Hey, Honey, how are you? I haven't seen you or the kids all day."

"Oh, the kids took Souta to Central Park and Pepper and went to a doctor's appointment I had."

Instantly, Tony frowned, and a concerned look crossed his face. He crossed the room and hugged Nodoka, "Why didn't you tell me you were feeling sick? I would have gone with you. What's wrong?"

"Nothing, I was only feeling a little off, and Pepper suggested I see a doctor. I found out something interesting."

Tony's brow furrowed even more profoundly; his heart started to speed up with worry. Tony couldn't handle the thought of something happening to his wife, not after everything they went through to be together finally. Tony took Nodoka's hands in his, "Honey, you're scaring me. What did the doctor say?"

Nodoka took a deep breath, "Tony, how do you feel about becoming a father again?"

Tony stared at Nodoka for a moment as his brain slowly caught up with what she had just told him. Nodoka oversaw Tony's face for a reaction. When he didn't react, she started getting nervous. Suddenly, the brightest smile broke on Tony's face, and he crushed Nodoka to him.

"Are you serious? Are we going to have a baby? How far along are you?"

"About twelve weeks," Nodoka answered.

Tony started whooping and hollering that he would be a dad; he spun Nodoka around, causing her to laugh. When he set her down, she put her hands on his shoulders, "Tony, there's more."

"What?" Tony asked in an excited tone.

"We're having twins," Nodoka answered.

"Twins? Twins!" Tony said as his eyes widened.

He suddenly felt faint, "I can't believe it, two babies. I have to sit down."

Nodoka led Tony to the sofa, where he sat down and put his head between his knees. Nodoka rubbed his back, trying to calm him down.

"Are you okay with this?"

Tony's head shot up, and he stared at his wife, "I am so okay with this you wouldn't believe it. I went from having one kid to four. I have never been so happy. Thank you so much."

Nodoka laughed, "Well, I didn't do it alone, you know?"

Tony gave her a smug look, "I know, I am good."

Nodoka rolled her eyes and playfully smacked Tony's arm. Tony pulled her onto his lap and kissed her lips, "I love you so much, Sweetheart."

"I love you too, Aisuru (Love)."

They kissed for a while, then Nodoka pulled away, "When do we tell Kagome and Souta?"

"Tonight. We'll have a family dinner and make the announcement. Is that alright?" Tony asked.

"That's perfect," Nodoka answered and leaned into Tony while he rubbed her flat belly.

They sat in silence, enjoying each other's company, reveling in the expansion of their family.
