Back at the Loud House

While Lincoln is in class, let's take a look back at Royal Woods and see how his family is doing. It was safe to say that ever since Jackie and Mandee posted that Lincoln's family threw him out onto the street that things haven't been good for the Loud family. Everywhere they went they got cold stares from people and they weren't surprised. Throwing a kid out onto the streets with just the clothes on his back really wasn't something that people would approve of. For one thing, when Lori's boyfriend, Bobby Santiago, found out what Lori did, he was extremely disappointed that she threw her own little brother, someone he thought of as his little brother, out onto the streets. He was so disappointed that he dumped her the instant he found out what she and the rest of her family did. Bobby's sister, Ronnie Anne, was so upset about what Lincoln's family did that she wanted to pound them into the ground (except for Lily), especially Lynn Jr. Lincoln's best friend, Clyde McBride was so disgusted with what Lori did that his crush on her was immediately and completely gone. To Clyde, Lori's beauty hid the blackness of her heart, the ugliness of her soul. He would never want to be with someone who could be so heartless and inconsiderate to someone, especially to his best friend.

None of Lori's friends would talk to her or even want to even sit with her at lunch. She was also kicked off the high school golf team. None of Leni's friends wanted to talk to her or hang out with her either, she would sit on the couch eating pudding while watching TV, crying.

When Luna's band, the Moon Goats, found out what she did to Lincoln, they kicked her out of the band; but what made it worse for Luna is that Sam Sharp, a member of the band and a girl she's had a crush on for years was the one who suggested kicking her out. She would sit on the beanbag in her room, playing her guitar without much enthusiasm.

Luan's Funny Business was pretty much done for because no one would hire someone who would throw a kid out onto the streets to entertain at a kid's birthday party. She, along with Lori, Leni, and Luna were fired by all their babysitting clients, even the Fox Quintuplets parents, no matter how desperate they were to get away from their kids because they wouldn't trust people who would throw a kid out onto the streets with the safety and well-being of their children.

Lynn Jr had it tough as well. All her friends and teammates pretty much glared at her, ignored her, and gave her the silent treatment. When her sports team coaches found out about why she and the rest of her family threw Lincoln out onto the street, they gave her a long talk about only relying on skill and talent alone instead of something stupid like luck and accepting a loss in a mature fashion...before they suspended her from all her teams until further notice. For a while, all Lynn Jr did was lie around on her bed, throwing a tennis ball against her bedroom wall.

Lucy's friends at the Mortician's Club kicked her out of the club and pretty much ignored her presence at school.

Lola's pageant career pretty much went down the toilet because nobody was going to believe she's a sweet little angel anymore for what she easily and willingly did to her brother without a second thought. She was out driving her princess car across town one day when she was stopped and confronted by the mother of the boy who was in the squirrel mascot suit she attacked. The woman berated Lola for the trauma she caused her son, as well as throwing her own brother out onto the streets. Lola was so disgusted with herself for what she did to Lincoln; someone who's always been there for her, supported her, and helped her train for her pageants, that she threw away her vanity mirror because whenever she looked into it, all she saw was a heartless little monster.

Lana's friends banished her from the mudhole, even her pets refused to play with her, including her beloved pet frog, Hops. She felt so dirty (and not in the way she liked) for what she did to Lincoln, including boarding up his bedroom door, that she actually took a bath in hopes of getting rid of the feeling; but to her disappointment in more ways than one, it didn't help at all.

Lisa's science colleagues turned their backs on her, and she couldn't blame them for doing so. We mean, what scientist would take someone who buys into a silly superstition so easily seriously. No one came to her science presentations no matter what they were about, she would stand behind a podium for hours waiting for at least one person to show up and the only person who did was the janitor and he was only there to clean up. Her classmates in her kindergarten class glared at her, even her teacher, Ms. Shrinivas gave her cold stares. She spent her time in her room working at her lab, hoping it would take her mind off her family's current problems, but it didn't help at all.

But everything that happened to the Loud sisters was nothing compared to what happened to Lynn Sr and Rita Loud. When the police found out what they did to their eleven-year-old son, they both got arrested. Turns out that evicting someone under the age of eighteen from his or her home was very illegal. Lynn Sr and Rita tried explaining to the police that they didn't know that, but it didn't excuse the fact that they did throw Lincoln out onto the streets. Lynn Sr and Rita will be sent to court at a future time. But in the meantime, they were both under house arrest. They were still allowed to go to work, but they were always being monitored by police when they do which made them uncomfortable. Lori had to do the grocery shopping due to her being the only other family member who knew how to drive. Lincoln's sisters did everything they could to find their brother so they can try and get him to forgive them in the hopes that it'll get things back to normal, but to no avail. They tried asking anyone who was at the mall during that raffle Lincoln won in the hopes of finding out the name of the land and the academy Lincoln was sent to, but no one would tell them because some believe they only wanted to know where he is so they can avoid going there so they won't be exposed to his 'bad luck' while some simply weren't in a talkative mood to them or simply didn't remember. Lisa tried expanding the range of her tracker; but even that didn't help find Lincoln, mainly because Lincoln's tracking chip got fried by a Pawmi. (See Chapter 3)

Lily wasn't treated so badly, due to her being a baby; but she still missed Lincoln. She wasn't as cheerful as she usually was. She always went to Lincoln's room, after Lana took the barricade off the door, to see if Lincoln was there; but she was always sad when he wasn't. Everyone tried to get her to smile at least, but they always failed miserably. All in all, life was bad for the Louds, except for Lincoln. Albert Cunningham (aka Pop Pop) was still disappointed with them for their actions towards his only grandson and the Louds couldn't blame him. What they did to Lincoln was unforgivable. Right now, Lynn Sr, Rita, and their daughters were sitting in the living room with depressed looks on their faces.

"What are we going to do now?" asked Lana.

"Everyone in Royal Woods hates us." said Lola.

"This is all my fault." said Leni. "If I hadn't told Jackie and Mandee what we did to Linky, this wouldn't be happening."

"People would've found out what happened whether you told them or not. I mean, people probably would've seen him out in his pajamas at a late hour, asked him why, and Lincoln would've told. I'm certain if any of you were in that situation, you girls would've told also." said Lynn Sr

"Your father's right. We shouldn't have kicked Lincoln out in the first place." said Rita. Luna glared at Lynn Jr.

"This is all your fault!" exclaimed Luna, pointing at Lynn Jr. "If you hadn't blamed that stupid loss of yours on our bro and gave him the idea of making us believe he was bad luck, we wouldn't have ended up kicking him out!"

"Our elder sister is correct. If you had only shown good sportsmanship and took your loss at that game in stride instead of using our sole male sibling as a scapegoat that day, we wouldn't be going through this right now." said Lisa, bitterly.

"You should've accepted that he didn't want to go and just let him stay home and read comics like he wanted to instead of making him go to that game." said Luan.

"By literally threatening him with a baseball bat!" Lori added.

"All right! I get it! I messed up big time! I never should've forced Lincoln to go to that game in the first place! I never should've threatened him with a baseball bat! I never should've blamed that loss on him when it was my fault he was even there! I ruined our lives and made Lincoln leave us!" yelled Lynn Jr.

"At least we know that Lincoln is safe somewhere getting a good education, whatever it is he's studying at whatever academy he was sent to." said Rita.

"Good thing for him he won that scholarship in that raffle thingy." said Leni.

"Yeah, before some lowlife eventually came across Lincoln and did something bad to him. Makes me wish we considered that possibility before we threw him out." said Lynn Sr.

"What were we thinking?! I mean, a violent storm could've rolled in during that night and Lincoln could've gotten hurt!" said Luan.

"I can't believe we didn't consider the possibility that something could've happened to him. Was luck more important to us than his feelings or well-being?!" asked Rita.

"It was to Lynn." said Lori, bitterly.

"Put a sock in it, Lori!" exclaimed Lynn Jr. She and Lori began arguing, which led to most of their sisters joining in on the arguing, except Lisa and Lily. While Lynn Sr and Rita tried to break up the arguing, Lisa takes Lily by the hand and walks her upstairs to their room where she lets her go and gives her her stuffed giraffe to play with.

"Oh, Lily. What are we going to do? Our lives are falling apart because of our actions towards our brother." said Lisa.

"Yinky." Lily says sadly. Lisa pats Lily's head in response.

"Yes, Lily. I miss him too. I can't believe I bought into superstition so easily. Some girl of science I turned out to be." said Lisa. She walks over to the bedroom window and looks up into the sky. "Lincoln, where are you?"

End of Chapter 5

Authors Note: Well, the Loud Sisters (except for Lily) and parents are really paying the price for what they did to Lincoln. As of today, 10/22/22, there is only 27 days remaining until Pokemon Scarlet and Violet comes out. We have our copies reserved and first chance we get to pick them up, we'll get them and start playing and hopefully get some new chapters ready once we learn more about the games.
