Thanks for the amazing response to this story. It's a lot of fun. I'm glad everyone is enjoying the twists and turns. Season 1 can be very fun to play with. Enjoy this latest and keep reviewing! Here are individual responses to reviews:

Ghostwriter: Yep, I love Witch Mountain too. The original 1975 movie anyway. Glad you're enjoying it!

Jennifer Baratta: Thanks, glad you're enjoying it!

Grace5231973: Thanks, glad you like the ties I managed to create. I decided that Tony and Tia didn't have to be aliens. Just from another realm that is gone now. And Whale sucks so I always have fun launching hits at his ego. Glad you're enjoying it!

Sexystarwarslover: Yep, a lot of bombs going off here and Maleficent with the latest. Yep, the Bolt family is very bad and probably coming to Storybrooke. Yeah, Monica and Snow's interaction is very cute. Yep, Regina is experiencing a little payback there. Yep, Whale is an ass and full of himself. Snow knocked him way down though and it's great. Nope, Greg is not going to take their deal and will return with reinforcements it seems. Yep, Emma is in for a surprise with Maleficent and her daughter. Glad you're enjoying!

AnonSnowing: Yep, the siblings are a mystery at this point. Yep, Greg is not going to let it go. I know, Snowing is awesome and the best. Yep, it's Tia and Tony! Yes, Bolt and Deranian are from the first movie too. Yes, Emma is able to relate to them and Lily may make an appearance. Glad you're still enjoying it!

Chapter 56: Welcome to Storybrooke

"Your daughter?" Emma asked.

"That's right…we were pregnant at the same time, albeit in different ways," Snow recalled.

"Different ways?" Emma asked.

"She means I had an egg…until it was stolen," Maleficent answered.

"Stolen?" David asked. She nodded.

"As you know, I was looking for an escape from the curse for my daughter as well," she said.

"Wait…you were trying to send your daughter through a portal too?" Emma asked curiously.

"Yes of course," Maleficent said, as she looked at her incredulously.

"Don't tell me that you think your parents should have let you be cursed with them, do you?" she asked. Emma shrugged.

"I don't know…I guess I thought maybe we would have at least been together," she replied, as she looked at her parents.

"But I guess we wouldn't have," she realized.

"Trust me…you wouldn't have and I have no idea what would have become of my egg in the curse," Maleficent said, as she glared at her former friend.

"I wasn't going to do anything to your egg," Regina protested.

"You cursed me to remain in my dragon form to punish me. Forgive me if I don't have a lot of confidence that my daughter would have been safe, though you probably wouldn't have killed her like you would have killed Emma," Maleficent said. Emma turned to her.

"Is she right? Would you have killed me if they hadn't sent me through the wardrobe?" the blonde asked. Regina pursed her lips and contemplated her answer.

"I…I don't know," she said honestly.

"I sent my Knights ahead of me that night…in hopes the only thing that could eventually break my curse would be taken care of," she replied.

"But even if they hadn't sent you away…I wouldn't have let her keep you. I wanted her miserable and alone," Regina added, as she looked at Snow. Neal could see that it was really starting to click for Emma at that moment. She had softened toward her parents a lot in the last few weeks with the more she learned. But hearing it firsthand from others was really making it sink in. It was a final moment of clarity for her, as everything locked into place and he could see the change in her eyes when she looked at her parents. It had been there before, right on the edge, but this had finally pushed her over.

"Anyway…I managed to acquire a magic bean, which were almost extinct in our land by this time," Maleficent said.

"How did you acquire a magic bean when even I could not?" Rumple demanded to know through clenched teeth. She smirked.

"As a Dragon, I have access to places that not even the Dark One has," she mused cryptically.

"Where is the potion?" he hissed.

"Not telling," she hissed back.

"Potion?" Emma asked.

"Yes…I bottled true love from your parent's hairs. It can and would bring magic to Storybrooke and solve all of our problems!" Rumple growled.

"Rumple…" Belle admonished.

"Or make them worse," Neal said.

"He's right…if these people that Tony and Tia said are coming here and it's magic they want, I think bringing magic here would be the worst thing we could do," David replied.

"Thank you!" Neal said in exasperation.

"How come he gets it and you won't?" Neal asked his father.

"Bae…you don't understand. I can fix everything with magic," he argued.

"And a bunch of other people could screw it all up," Neal argued back and Rumple could not refute his assertion. It could very well introduce a lot of unknowns into the equation.

"Anyway…you were able to get a bean, but obviously something went wrong?" Snow asked. She nodded.

"Cruella happened," she revealed and Emma was curious when she saw her father visibly shudder.

"Of course," he said.

"As you know, with her unique ability, she's able to control me in my dragon form and found me while I was nesting," Maleficent replied.

"She stole the bean," Snow realized.

"And my egg," Maleficent added.

"Why would she steal your child? She hates children and animals," David said.

"My daughter was her insurance policy. She escaped to this land and now she wants the potion in exchange for my daughter's location," Maleficent replied.

"Let me guess…she'd be a psychopath with magic," Emma deduced.

"Worse than Queenie over there," Maleficent said.

"Regina has a conscience now in her own child, but Cruella is and has always been evil. There's no tragic backstory that made her this way. She's just a terrible person that is well connected and very wealthy in the Land Without Magic. She's currently fighting her step-children for control of their father's massive Empire or at least, that's what she told me," Maleficent said.

"Wait…massive empire?" Emma asked, as she looked at Tony and Tia.

"She didn't happen to say that her late husband's name was Aristotle Bolt, did she?" Tony asked.

"How did you know?" Maleficent asked.

"We had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting him once and from what I have briefly read, his kids are no better," Tia answered.

"So you want us to find your daughter?" Emma asked.

"It is what you do, isn't it? And her name is Lily or at least, I hope it is. That's what I planned to call her," Maleficent replied and Emma froze.

"Emma?" Snow asked.

"I…I knew a Lily once…but I'm sure it can't be the same person," Emma replied.

"Was she an orphan?" Neal asked.

"No…she was adopted and always at odds with her family. She was always rebelling…I guess I was too and we were going to run away together. She from her home and me from the group home," Emma replied.

"What happened?" David asked.

"She didn't show up on the day we were going to leave. I just thought she decided to stay with her family. But…it can't be the same Lily," Emma replied.

"Do you remember if she had any distinct birthmarks?" Maleficent asked. Emma paused and stared at her.

"All dragons have them. It would be in the shape of a star," she said.

"Oh my God…" Emma uttered, as she recalled the memory.

"She had a star marking on her wrist. I know, because she drew one exactly like it on me with a marker. It was her…" she realized.

"Do you think you can find her?" Maleficent asked.

"I…I don't know, but we can try. She went by the name Lily Paige, but it was years ago. We can go back to the station and do an Internet search," Emma suggested. Maleficent smiled.

"Thank you," she said, as they headed off, but Emma stopped and turned back to Snow and David.

"Are you coming…Mom and Dad?" she asked, stunning them to speechlessness. When they finally found their voices, they nodded eagerly and hugged her between them.

"We'll all go. We can do some research on our adversaries. It seems that they are not only connected to my Aunt, but to your brother too," Snow said, looking at Mathias and Billy.

"It would seem everything is all very much entwined. The spirits have joined us together to fight against this great evil. I am certain of that now," Mathias said.

"Wait…you can't go in there!" Narcissa heard her assistant call, as her office door swung open, revealing a woman in a black dress, high heels, and a tacky fur coat. She was smoking a cigarette and the blonde wrinkled her nose at the smell that was mixed with the distinct odor of gin.

"Hello dahling…" Cruella said.

"What are you doing here, Cruella?" Narcissa asked.

"Just checking in on one of my biggest investments. Do you really think that old codger I was married to would have ever funded your little fashion business if not for me prodding him to do so?" she asked, as she waltzed in and looked at a few of the newest summer fashion prototypes that were on display in her office. Narcissa gave her a hard stare.

"Aristotle knew a good investment when he saw one and we both knew it was Storybrooke he was really interested in. He knew I could eventually lead him here and I have. It's not my fault he stroked out before he could see it," Narcissa replied.

"Where are the new fur prototypes?" Cruella asked. Narcissa clenched her teeth. One of the stipulations of her funding had always been including a fur line, which she hated. But to become what she had, it was necessary to take the Bolt money.

"It's the summer line, Cruella. No one wears fur in the summer," she responded. The two-toned haired woman huffed.

"I suppose…I still think you should design a fur lined bikini. I'd look stunning in it…well, I look stunning in anything," she boasted. Narcissa rolled her eyes.

"Again…why are you here?" Narcissa questioned.

"To join in the fun…or the soon to be fun," Cruella replied.

"What are you talking about?" Narcissa asked.

"My awful stepchildren are planning a visit here now that they can get in. Mr. Mendell plans to lead them right in," Cruella replied.

"I knew that…Lucian kind of clued me in when he said the building of his Casino was going to be fast tracked. I don't have a problem with them, unlike you," Narcissa said.

"You have no idea what I had to endure for this fortune…and they're trying to cut me out," Cruella snapped. Narcissa smirked.

"Oh I know what you had to do for that fortune and if you're here asking for me to go against them, then you can kindly see yourself out. I quite like my life that their funding has provided. The only thing left for me…is to make my niece pay and I plan to do just that," she said. It was Cruella's turn to smirk.

"Well dahling…you might want to reconsider working together then, because Maleficent is seeking them out for their help and in turn, I'm positive she will align with them," Cruella said. Narcissa looked at her and then clenched her fists.

"Damn you Snow…" she cursed.

"It doesn't matter what you do…Snow White always wins," Cruella taunted. Narcissa smirked.

"Or maybe not…" she said, as she stood up and looked out the window.

"Well, do share, dahling," Cruella requested.

"You remember Malachi, don't you?" she asked.

"Of course…dreamy if he wasn't a dog," Cruella replied.

"A wolf…and what you don't know is that my niece is immune to his pheromones," Narcissa replied.

"Interesting…I didn't know that was possible," Cruella said.

"Apparently something to do with true love. But I know for a fact that Malachi was none too happy about her rejection…a very public rejection and for some reason, her scent was particularly appetizing to him," Narcissa replied.

"What is your point? Even Malachi isn't stupid enough to hunt Snow White, especially with Prince Charming and her daughter the Savior protecting her," Cruella said.

"No…but tonight is a full moon and not just that, but a blood moon as well and he will be extremely restless. Plus…you could help control his animal impulses, that is if you still have influence over animals even without magic," Narcissa replied. Cruella smirked.

"I do…but why would I help you use Malachi to hunt and murder your step-daughter? I know for a fact that the Bolt family isn't interested in killing anyone here, especially someone like Snow White. They're more interested in the magic she makes with her husband and imprisoning them as living possessions. Pissing them off will not help my case," Cruella said.

"You want control of the Empire and I can help make that happen. Controlling Malachi on that night could cause many deaths, including Aleister and Malina. Then you'd be the sole heir to the Bolt fortune," Narcissa said.

"You'd do that for me?" Cruella asked.

"For half the Empire…certainly," Narcissa replied. Cruella thought for a moment.

"Half is a bit much, don't you think?" she questioned.

"If Bolt's children get their way, you'll get cut out with nothing and they have a very good legal team that will easily prove that you married Aristotle for the money," Narcissa replied.

"Fine…they die, Snow White dies, horrifically of course, and you can have half," Cruella answered. Narcissa smirked.

"Then it's a deal," she said, as they toasted with a drink.

Later that evening, at the station, pizza boxes lay discarded, as they continued reading and researching on the available computers. Neal had taken Henry back to his father's house to put him to bed, while Billy had taken his daughter over to the Inn to get her settled as well.

"So…this Witch Mountain, how does that work?" David asked.

"What do you mean?" Tia asked, as she looked up from her computer.

"I mean…you said it's a portal, but is it just between this land and the Enchanted Forest? There are a lot of other realms out there from what we've learned," David replied.

"No…it's actually random, unless you know what you're doing," Tony said.

"How so?" Snow asked.

"I was able to sense things from it and sort of see glimpses into the worlds with my telepathy," Tia explained.

"Wait…so it was like a revolving door of different worlds?" Belle asked.

"Yes…that's a good way of putting it. Some I sensed violence from, while others felt wonderful. The Enchanted Forest…I could feel there was a mix ,but a lot of love from what I sensed so I picked that one," Tia answered.

"And Bolt and Deranian didn't find the portal?" David asked.

"No…but it's not a bright, swirling vortex like most portals if that's what you're thinking," Tony replied.

"Then how did you find it? With your powers?" Snow asked. Tia shook her head and then drew something on a piece of paper.

"In our realm, we had binary suns and a symbol like this was on one of the walls inside the mountain. We escaped in a vessel in the water, but came down through this mountain and passed through it into this world. Once we did that, there was a mark on the wall. We've heard that this world has many apexes where you can pass through into other realms, but we've only ever found this one at Witch Mountain," Tia explained.

"Then that's what the Bolts must want. This world isn't enough for them. They want them all," Emma reasoned.

"We think so…and to rule over all the people, of course. They know what people in this world will pay just to see something spectacular or different," Tony said.

"They're very rich…it's not easy to stop people that have this much money," Regina mentioned, as they looked at her.

"What? You think I want these people in our town and anywhere near my son?" she questioned hotly. They sobered at her answer and knew that anything that was even a potential danger to Henry, she would fight it, even if it meant fighting with them.

"Anything on Lily?" Maleficent asked.

"Nothing on social media…which is weird. There's a lot of Lily Paige's and she probably looks different now…but I think I'd recognize her and I don't think it's any of these people," Emma said, as she scrolled through the site.

"And you said it's weird to have no…social media?" Maleficent asked.

"For people our age…yeah, I mean it's not unheard of, but most young people are on at least one, though I'm not, but I was a bail bondsperson before Storybrooke. I liked keeping a low profile," Emma replied, as she went to a search engine and googled another name.

"Brad Paige?" Snow asked.

"I remember that was her dad's name and he was some kind of financial advisor. Her family had a lot of money," Emma replied, as a bunch of articles came up and she started scrolling.

"Holy crap…" she uttered, as she came across one and a horrifying one at that.

"That's him…and her adopted mother. They're dead…" Emma said.

"How did they die and when?" David asked.

"Uh…looks like it was ten years ago in a home burglary gone bad. They were murdered," she said, as she read on.

"Wow…they never caught the suspects, but Lily was suspected of it, along with her friends," Emma said, as Mal sank into a seat.

"We don't know that she was responsible. Maybe she was just out with those friends when it all happened," Snow reasoned, trying to comfort the other mother.

"Lily dropped off the radar about that time…it's why I can't find anything, except…" Emma said.

"Except?" Regina asked.

"Except for a brief sighting in a dress shop. Supposedly, she was an employee in a Blake Fashions dress shop in Portland, Maine a year ago. But she disappeared before police could question her," Emma replied.

"Wait…she was working in one of Naricssa's stores?" David asked.

"Yeah…there is no way that's a coincidence," Emma replied.

"She'll never tell us anything, even if she does know something," Snow said.

"Oh…she'll tell me," Maleficent growled, as she stood up and marched out.

"Yeah…I'm not going to miss this," Emma said. The others agreed and followed her.

Narcissa sat in Malachi's bar at the end of the day and Lucian put a cocktail down in front of her.

"Rough day?" he asked.

"Of course it was…this town is trash. I can't wait until we transform it," she replied. He smirked and she noticed Malachi wasn't around.

"Where is our surly friend?" she asked.

"We're just hours away from a full moon…he's sequestered himself. He's been very restless the last few nights and as much as I enjoy carnage, we're not ready for that kind of terror yet," Lucian replied.

"Oh dear…I do hope he can control himself," she mused.

Malachi growled, as he paced in his sublet apartment above the bar. Despite the dark curtains being pulled, he could feel the moon's rays and they licked at his every nerve. He thirsted for blood; he always did during a full moon, but nothing like this since he had left the Enchanted Forest. It was definitely this place…and her. She was probably miles away and he could practically smell her scent. Her offspring too…it was maddening.

"Well hello dahling…" Cruella said, as she stood in his doorway.

"Who…the hell are you?" he growled in a haggard tone.

"Just someone that wants to help you, wolfy," she hissed, as she implored her power toward him and then sauntered around him to open the curtains. The full expanse of the moon hit him and his eyes glowed yellow, as he growled inhumanly.

"That's right beastie…let go of that inner animal," she whispered.

"Go…quench your thirst on as many dames as you want, but just make sure you finish with Snow White…" Cruella whispered. He growled and the glass shattered on his window, as he jumped out and ran off into town. Cruella smirked evilly and cackled.

"Oh…I have not had this much fun in years…" she said.

The luxury car pulled into town, just as dusk hit.

"Owen…" Kurt said, as his son looked at him sharply. He sighed.

"Greg…I know you think you want revenge, but there's a town full of victims just like I us that stand to get caught in the crossfire," he reasoned.

"They don't belong here, Dad…they're not like us and therefore, they must be controlled. That's what Mr. and Ms. Bolt intends to do," Greg replied.

"What? Exploit and subjugate an entire population, because they're different? They are human beings," Kurt argued. Greg snorted.

"Not like us and some of them have magic. Without control, they could destroy us all," he argued in return. Kurt was silent then, as the car parked and they all got out.

"Finally…" Aleister said.

"I know you described it as quaint…but I was expecting more," Malina said, obviously unimpressed.

"Don't let it fool you. The appearance and tech may be from the 1980's, but the people are not what they seem," Greg warned.

"We can't wait to see it all," Aleister said.

"Narcissa texted back. It seems she's at the Wolf's Den," Greg said.

"Then we should go for a drink and see what all our funding has started to create," Malina said, as they began walking down Main Street. Kurt was lost in his thoughts at that point. He knew that this path was going to either ruin his son's life or lead to the loss of it entirely. He remembered the man and woman that had freed him. He had been able to tell by their resemblance that they were some kind of relation. He remembered them mentioning that Regina had wronged them too, yet they did not seek revenge. Instead, they were moving forward, which was the path he wanted Greg to see. Perhaps, if they were as kind as they seemed, they would agree to help him try to reach his son…
