Another day starts as the sun forces its beam through those who didn't close their blinds, as it began to peak into the room for the young rider and his companions. Cody groaned out as he felt the rays attempting to wake the proclaimed maou.

"Ugh… it had to be today that the blinds weren't fully closed…" Cody groaned out, stirring awake as he opened his eyes.

As he does his mind once again raced through him. Two weeks since his arrival in this new world along with a new life for him. But even more so was him obtaining the power of Oma Zi-O and the spark of life he once lost.

With this he has been on several jobs with Rem and Sherra, each one different from the last but none of them were boring to him nor made his time a waste. At least since without everything from Earth he had to adapt and change things for himself, especially for his entertainment so he wouldn't be bored. Luckily the girls always helped that out with their antics and personalities.

'Speaking of, wonder what the girls wanna do for todays job?' He pondered in thought as he turned his head to see if the elf girl was awake but… it was a bit more for him to keep his composure as the elf girl once again was sleeping with just a simply loosely fit tanktop that was way too small for her. He would barely able to keep himself together from the sight, but what made him grow pale was the fact that his hand… was touching and fondling the young elfs chest.

'Crap, crap, crap, crap! Why am I touching Sherra like that?!' The young rider cried out in his thoughts as he tried to stop himself… yet his hand wasn't working with him as it felt like it had a mind of its own as the hand of the maou kept feeling every inch of the elfs large breast.

'This must be one of those phenomena where one's body or limb acts on its own! I thought that was some stupid shtick from a sickcom or an anime! I need to stop this soon! Hope my right hand can help me out as well.' Cody grimaced in thought, turning his head only to be disappointed as his other hand was doing the same thing to Rem's smaller chest, making the rider blush from his odd actions and the results of it all.

'Am I cursed or something?! What is this!?' Cody cried out in anguish in his mind, hoping that the hands would relax soon before the girls woke up before it would be too late.

His brow twitched before he closed his eyes and with enough focus he moved his hands away and immediately moved away from the bed. He grasped his head, having to fight back the growing redness on his face that it would match the visor of the armor.

'F-Finally… That was too close! Ugh.. I don't know why my body did that… I just hope the girls don't notice, I don't wanna lose them because of my stupid human instincts…' Cody panted out with worry, swallowing his worries down as he stood up to wash his face and cool off with a cold shower.

Though as soon as the door was closed and the water started running, both Sherra and Rem opened their eyes as they stood up. Both of the girls having bright blushes on their faces as they looked to one another.

"S-Should… we tell him we've been awake for awhile now?" Sherra asked, as while it was embarrassing for them both, they too were worried about leaving him as well. The three of them have become good friends, so to break it off due to a small issue like that would be bad for them all.

"I-I think… we should just… ignore it for now.." Rem responded, her face even more red. "It might've just.. been the Sleepless Response… I've heard that some males do that even if they rather not. I-It's usually just a form of restlessness since we both are of the opposite genders… Its fair to assume with us and him, this would happen…" The Pantherian said trying to be logical about this situation.

Both the girls nodded, knowing that this would be something all three of them would keep secret, at least until they felt comfortable to confront each other about it. But this surely was a odd way to start the morning.

XXX

Within the guild, the group were looking over the request and job listings on the board, each of them pondering over the job they want to do today. While they could handle anything, they also wanna make this adventure fun for today.

"Hmm… None of these seem pleasant…" Cody noted with a disappointed tone. "Any of them stick out to you two?"

"Nope."

"None! Um, maybe? Maybe one!"

Cody elicited an exasperated sigh, facepalming in disbelief. "Well, maybe we can talk to Sylvie and see if she has something?" He offered as the two nodded.

The trio made their way up to the guild master's office as they knocked and were let in, seeing the Grass Walker go through what looked to be some new jobs.

"Hey you three! I take it you're here because nothing looks good?" She asked with a sly smirk.

"Nail on the head." Cody nodded to her.

"Well, we just got these, but also a new one… Though it seems a bit fishy if you ask me." Sylvie said, pulling up the listing before she smiled and handed it to the trio, "Care to try this out then?"

Cody took a look at the job, reading carefully at it. "Hmm… A Slayer Quest… Just one Madara Snake in the Man-Eating Woods… For this much?" He noted out with confusion.

As the days went on, Rem and Shera helped Cody learn to read the language of this world. And while still struggling with some things, he learned quickly alongside many of the dangers of the world too. He knew that the Madara Snake were quite vicious and hard to deal with for some low and even mid level adventurers.

So killing one would be tough, but the reward was…. Cheap? And there was no other description to it. No reasoning, no lengthy detail on the mission, nor even who sent it. It truly was a very odd job request… But one that could prove beneficial for them.

"Yeah, I think we can manage this, chief." Cody smirked softly at her, with Rem and Sherra nodding in agreement.

"Then I'll leave you two to it. If something else pops up, or I find more info about it, then I'll let you know." Sylvie said, as the trio left the room.

"So Rem. Think you got an idea on what this quest truly is or who sent it?" Cody asked the Pantherian, wanting to know her insight and logic over this, just for him to have a grasp as well.

"Maybe they just are scared of snakes?" Sherra pointed out, as the innocent elf girl didn't suspect any hint of danger or lies.

"I doubt it, Sherra." Rem sighed as the catgirl pondered a bit. "It's hard to say at this point. Could really be anything… I suggest we all stay on guard when we go into the Man-Eating Woods."

"Agreed." Cody nodded with her as they were about to head out… only for a voice to echo out and stop the trio.

"HOLD IT, FIEND!"

From nearby soon landing next to the trio was a golden cladded knight, with oddly flowing golden hair and sword on the hip. This person oozed out radiance… but not a brilliant mind behind it.

"You! Are you the rumored Fallen Follower who has taken these two girls hostages as your slaves?" the knight demanded, as it seemed yet another rumor was out there about them.

Cody, Rem and Sherra have heard so many false rumors throughout the two weeks they've been together. From simple bandits, to wanted criminals, to even slave trafficers and more. Each one causing a problem only for them to show that none of it was true, but this was yet another absurd rumor, even for them.

"Uh… sorry buddy. But whoever told you that or heard it from someone else? They're just spreading lies. I'm no-" Cody said, attempting to diffuse the situation only for the knight to draw his sword at him. "… You're kidding me right?"

"Of course not, fiend! My name is Emile Bichelberger! And I'm the one who defends the honor and pride of all woman!" The knight declared as he made a very ridiculous pose, that even Sentai and Power Rangers would cringe at.

"Don't know whether to laugh or have a headache." The blonde rider sighed. "Look, I don't want to cause trouble or anything of that sort. I just want to help my friends and get the quest finished."

"Bah! I know you're just using those Slave Collars on them to make them obey. I shall free them now!" Emile shouted, declaring as he seemed ready to charge and swing at the young rider.

The otherworlder ducked before he focused, allowing the liquid bronze to melt off his waist, forming the golden buckle.

Rem and Sherra flinched at this, as while they have gotten used to their friend's power. It wouldn't be wise for a big fight like that to break out, as they had to act quickly. Especially when Cody told them his power could literally remove an individual right out of history.

"STOP!" The two shouted out in unison, catching the two males' attention.

"Rem! Sherra! Did my act of bravery free you two?" Emile gasped, as if he was stuck in his own high.

"No you idiot!" Rem sighed, rubbing her temples, "We just don't want you fighting in the guild and ruining things!"

"Besides, Cody isn't forcing us against our will! It was just a magic rebound accident." Sherra responded, "Plus he's our friend! He isn't part of the Fallen or worshiping them! People are only lying about him!"

"Girls…"

"Plus using that here would just be devastating to all, even if you hold back." Rem whispered that last bit into the young rider, as he realized she was right and it'd only bring bad news to all as the belt vanished.

"Really?" Emile questioned as the girls nodded. Soon he bellowed out in laughter as he sheathed his sword, "Well, then I'll be! I knew the rumors were nothing but lies! HAHAHAHA!"

"More like you judged too quickly…" The trio groaned out in unison.

"What is your name, boy?" Emile asked, curious to know.

"Uh… Cody… Cody Aldrich…"

"Well, Cody! I am glad that you have befriended such fine girls to protect! If you ever need help I, Emile Bichelberger, shall come! Until next time, friend!" Emile bellowed out in laughter as he walked off, leaving the trio alone.

"Is he always like that…?" Cody groaned out, looking at the two in bewilderment.

"You really want to know?"

"Uh, no."

"Then you know the answer."

"Geez…" Cody groaned out before shaking his head, "Come on then, let's do this job and put that in the past…"

"Agreed." The two girls nodded in agreement and unison as they all made their way off to the Man-Eating Woods for the request.

Though not too far from where they were, a hooded figure sat there, a devious grin on his face as it seemed the bait was taken.

XXX

Entering the Man-Eating Woods, he had wondered why it had such a grim name. He thought it was just to scare people. However he learned the hard way as there had been occasions they would be attacked by vicious monsters of the forest!

"Didn't think this would be something that actually happened!" Cody grimaced, as the trio were having a small rest.

"Of course the meaning would be real. What place has a false name and meaning?" Rem questioned.

"I can name several where I'm from." He deadpanned.

"Speaking of, in exchange for your lessons, I'd like to know more about your world." Rem requested.

"Me too! Me too!" Sherra beamed as she wanted to learn more about her friend.

"Hai, hai… I shall do so." Cody sighed out, "Speaking of, any signs of the target?"

"Hmm. I don't see anything… Where would one even be?" Sherra questioned as she was poking the muddy waters next to them.

"Sherra, I wouldn't do that. The last thing we need is you getting swallowed whole by the snake."

Sherra of course flinched as she backed off quickly from the waters.

"Like it would towards her." The ravenette sent a brief glare at Sheera's bust.

The male blonde rolled his eyes. The classic envy of another's body figure.

"Say… were we followed?" Sherra questioned.

"Why ask that?" Cody sat up.

"Well… Because there's many people in hiding in those trees." Sherra pointed up to the trees nearby.

Cody and Rem immediately tensed, slowly maintaining their respective stance at the revelation. Now that the blonde recalled, there were many people coming in and out of the forest. And also there was hardly any monsters in the area which can only mean someone had been killing them in order to prepare themselves for an ambush.

An ambush aimed towards them.

"Looks like Sylvie was right on the money, this was some trap." Cody frowned as he stood up and summoned his belt, "Sherra? Can you point out where they're at?"

"Um… o-only if you promise not to severely injure or kill them…" Sherra requested.

Cody simply smiled, "Hey, I wanna learn what's going on too. Killing is only for scum and I'm willing to discuss things out." He reassured the elf who looked relieved.

"Um… right there, there, there… oh there too… and… there." Sherra pointed out at the locations she could 'see', something they'll discuss later.

The blonde rider nodded as the belt formed swiftly under his influence and pressed on the panels of it.

"Henshin."

Upon calling out, the armor of the maou was now on him, as he held up a rider watch and began to click on after another, successfully using another combination he thought of.

WIZARD

WISEMAN

ZANGESTU SHIN

EX-AID

He raised his hand, allowing several energy arrows to appear whereas his gaze sharpened, aiming at the locations Sherra pointed. With a grunt, he moved his hand and allowed the arrows to be pointed towards their respective targets.

"Virtua Rainfall." He announced.

The energy arrows flew off, each one hitting the area he aimed at before each one lit up with a flash of light and fire. Soon cries of pain from the burning sensation rang out as falling out of the trees, holding their scorched blemishes were….

"Elves?" Rem got out shocked as many elves were now there. But each one had a bit of a similar coloring to their outfits like Sherra, green and white with leaf patterns around it.

"Che!" One elf archer clicked his teeth in annoyance. Their plan to ambush had failed. He stood up and pointed his bow at the golden rider, "You! Slave Trader! Hand over Princess Sherra and undo your spell on her!"

For a minute, Cody swore a record player scratched in his head when the archer yelled at him. It wasn't being labeled slave trader but, "SHERRA IS A PRINCESS?!" He darted his head so fast it would have snapped upon looking at his friend.

"You didn't think to tell either of this before?!" Rem asked as she too was shocked.

"Um.. well.. I didn't… cause I thought you two would judge me as one or see me less as a friend…" Sherra frowned softly, "I was worried I'd just be another princess to be sent back… but I don't… I don't wanna go back as I wanna have my life here.. With Rem and Cody…"

"Sherra…" Cody muttered softly. "We could never judge you like that. As you've said, we're friends. Why would we look at you any different than we have before?"

"Sides, we're all stuck together so what difference does it make?" Rem smiled softly, "Plus, hearing your resolve? Just makes us wanna help you more, Sherra."

Sherra smiled and looked at the elves, "That is why I don't care a single bit of the royal family!"

The elf was in disbelief but also frustrated. He lowered his bow slightly. "Princess! Everyone in the royal family is worried about you!"

"What my brother and the others are worried about isn't me but the successor, right?" She shut her eyes and yelled out, "I've had enough of life where I don't have freedom whatsoever! I absolutely won't go back home! I will live on with my own strength!"

The elves were all stunned to hear such a declaration from their own princess. They were told about someone who captured and enslaved the princess. Yet standing there, her eyes didn't show a single hint of mind control or manipulation. She was saying this with her own free will.

"Well said, Sherra." Rem praised, "Even I have to admit, for a idiot as yourself. That was really cool."

The lead archer frowned, "While there are circumstances to all of this… you are too powerless to live on your own." His expression darkened. "Even if we have to do it by force. We will bring you back with us to the Greenwood Kingdom."

Sherra took a step back but Oma Zi-O extended his arm to shield her. "You have no right to take her away when she had already made her decision." He took a step forward. "If you want her, then try to go through me first, asshole."

"Hmph… With pleasure." The archer frowned as he soon took out two arrows, as he pointed the first one at the golden-bronze armor. He swiftly released and the projectile zipped towards the young man.

Oma Zi-O stared at the arrow that merely poked his reinforced armor and fell upon hitting his armor. If he learned anything the armor of all Riders were extremely reinforced depending on the form and Rider. Hell Kuuga and Poseidon took bullets and kept moving. Even Amazon Omega and Amazon Neo.

The male archer gasped in shock. It was a solid hit but Oma Zi-O came out unscathed!

"Is that it?" The Maou coldly inquired. "That felt like a mere mosquito bite."

"Che… Tough one, huh? Then I guess this'll have to do!" The archer said, taking out another arrow, this one was blue tipped and looked like a mix between both a leaf and a icicle, as the center of the arrow tip had a green gem within it as the moment it was pulled back a powerful gust of wind surged around the archer.

"T-That arrow!" Sherra gasped.

"This arrow was gifted to me by His Majesty and is a treasured arrow that can pierce through anything! Including your armor!" He pulled the string. "Pierce through!"

With a release, the arrow powerfully flew at Oma Zi-O who stared. The archer grinned slightly but a wave of gold suddenly released from him. The arrow… stopped moving. No, it was frozen in mid-air.

"Wh-What…?"

"I will say this once, and only once." Oma Zi-O coldly warned. "There are several things that make your efforts completely useless. Firstly." He raised his hand, focusing on the arrow and raised two fingers.

*SNAP!*

The arrow's colors turned bronze before it became dust, flowing with the wind. The archer and his companions felt their skins grow pale.

"What I did to the arrow is an example of what I can do to all of you. I erased that 'treasure' out of your kingdom's history."

"T-That's… That's impossible!" the archer shouted in disbelief.

"It is for one like me." He began his approach as the archers raised their bows but their limbs trembled in growing fear. To be wiped off from history, forever forgotten and not a soul would know them. Not their loved ones, not their own people. All of their efforts and memories wiped away like pests.

"Imagine what I did to the arrow can do the same to your kingdom." He continued as he ominously drew closer. He saw they lost all shade of color on their skin, a few on the verge of wetting themselves. The archer who had the gall to use the two arrows stepped back but fell on his rear. "All it takes is the snap of my fingers and I can decide the fate of your lives and kingdom. So…" his red visor gleamed. "Tell the members of the royal family that if they ever wish to take Sherra, they will only lose their right to exist by me as I will erase their existence from history! For I am Oma Zi-O! The Demon King of Time!" He bellowed proudly. "Now all of you… get out of my sights while you still exist."

Each one soon screamed in terror, soon picking themselves up as they ran away in fear, each one crying out in the elven tongue from the fear they just witnessed.

Cody sighed bitterly and turned to the girls, "Sorry about that. Had to give them something so this won't happen again." He apologized, knowing he might've scared them as well.

"Mmmnh." Sherra shook her head, "You did right… If they were going to take me by force, then it would be wise to make sure they can't with such a declaration."

"Though it was kinda very cruel." Rem winced slightly and took a deep breath to calm her instincts that were screaming at her to run away from him.

"Well it was at the moment. I couldn't think of a proper way to do it without that threat." Cody frowned, knowing he had to be this serious if he wanted it to work. "And that includes you, you stupid stalker!"

"Heee!" The branch shattered as the familiar mage from before fell onto the ground thanks to the armor's power. He crawled back slightly against the tree. He had witnessed everything Cody did in the armor he was wearing.

"So… starting to think I know how the job was made, the rumors being spread, and this set up… How low can you get?" The armored blonde crossed his arms, scolding the mage.

The man swallowed heavily, trying his best to not hide the fear as Oma Zi-O leaned forward, his blood red visor reflecting the fear.

"Its not my fault! I simply told them about their princess! Blame those idiots for thinking that!" Galluk shouted, trying to defend himself.

"I'd be more worried about what Celestine would say?" Rem chimed in, "Using the Mage's Association to not only make several lies and rumors, but have one of their most protected people be in harm's way? I'll be surprised if you're still able to walk the streets anymore…"

"Y-You're wrong… I'm not mistaken…" Galluk lowered his head slightly before he gritted his teeth and ran away and shouted, "You better remember this!"

"What a coward." Rem spat out with disappointment. "Don't worry, I'll inform her when we return back. This truly was a despicable plan…"

"Tell me about it." Cody sighed as he looked to Rem, pondering a bit at her words. 'What did she even mean by that? As much as I don't wanna pry…. We should know too. Have no secrets between any of us…' He said in his thoughts.

Dismissing the armor, he pocketed his hands. "Let's head back. I'm sure we could use some rest. I know I need it."

"Agreed! I need a good bath from this!" Sherra said with relief, as she needed a good bath from their trip through the mucky woods.

XXX

As night fell, Rem was sitting in their room as Sherra and Cody were still dining together. Her thoughts pondering over everything that happened. Even more so was what she said out loud. But she shook her head, knowing that mulling over such worries do nothing.

"Got something on your mind, Rem?" Cody asked, as he walked in with two cups of water for them, handing one to her.

"H-Huh? Oh…" she murmured. "I thought you and Sherra were still eating?"

"She said she could go for more, so I gave her some extra money to have fun." Cody answered before he sat next to her, "So what's on your mind, Rem? You can tell me and Sherra, ya know?"

Rem flinched a bit as she turned away with a huff, "I don't have anything to say." She said, trying to pose as being strong and tough, yet the blonde otherworlder fully knew what she was doing.

"Rem… You don't have to pretend to us that you're strong, nor hide things from us if you're worried about how we'd respond. We're friends here and together after all. We truly won't change how we feel about you." Cody said to her, hoping his words would reach and let her speak what's on her mind.

At first she didn't make any eye contact but her body language shifted and her ears lowered. "… Hearing about the burden you have as Oma Zi-O, I am reminded of my own burden."

"What do you mean?"

"My family… for generations has kept a harsh secret. One where every new generation comes, we have to move to a new area to not only be protected, but keep the Fallen off our tail…" Rem informed.

'Fallen' once again, that group. He heard as much as he could not just from Rem, but from what he heard about from the other people within their city. Not just a race but also cultists who follow the actual demon lords of this world.

"We kept moving and moving… From my great grandmother all the way to my mother, we have done this to keep the world safe… Until I was born…. And now I share that burden." Rem said as she held her stomach as she made a few attempts to speak but either a lump came through to make her pause or shuddering at the worst outcomes she could be imagining. It was truly hard for her to say anything as tears began to build up in her eyes before she took one more breath to speak.

"I… I house… the soul of one of the demon lords within my body…" Rem said, as this now brought more light to the situation.

Not only how Celestine knew about Rem's whereabouts but also the times she told him and Shera about the 'protection' that the head mage offered many times. She was a literal bomb to go off should the Fallen figure this out, but also makes living nearly impossible for her and her family before.

Rem wasn't just someone special, she was the literal key to keep the demon lord sealed away. Even more so on why she also has had some problems with connecting with people. Some would either see her as a monster or cultist, while others would force them away so they can be safe.

"If your power can erase any being out of existence…" she wrapped her hand tighter on her abdomen. "Then if that is the case of such capabilities… erase me."

"W-What?!"

"I have tried so hard to keep my spirits up… That by keeping the seal alive and placing it within each new generation, I could protect the world! But… It's just so difficult!" Rem whimpered out, "I've tried to make friends… tried to be helpful in the past but I was seen as just a cultist or holding a monster inside me and thus a monster as well."

Rem then turned to Cody, tears running down her face as it was obvious she was finally letting out so much problems and emotions that she was forced to keep down herself to continue on. Rem was alone for so long, so when both Shera and Cody came into her life, she was filled with happiness. But worried they'd leave her as well like the many others before them, thus she had to stay quiet about this whole thing and be distant to them, to make sure they don't leave her either.

The blonde held his hands together and looked at the floor. "There were others before who felt the same…"

"E-Eh?"

"Before I give you my reason why I won't do it, let me explain it." He raised a hand. "Do you recall how Oma Zi-O's god-like power not only derived from himself but of Kamen Riders across history?" His friend slowly nodded. "The irony behind it is that their powers came from the monsters they fought. Some of the heroic Kamen Riders… were monsters or became one."

He smiled, recalling most of the Riders he knew. "Cross-Z was a Rider who was a hybrid of a human and an otherworldly entity who could swallow planets. Kiva was the same only with a vampire-like monster. Faiz was a monster and he never knew. Some of those heroes, hell, they harbored monsters themselves. Like Wizard who harbored a dragon. A freaking dragon. Ex-Aid harbored a plague that could erase humanity. But you know what they did regardless? They fought for humanity. Gaim, a noble samurai chose to become a godly being just so he can protect humanity but in turn had to leave his home just so he could make sure they can live. OOO became a monster but his best friend saved him. Build sacrificed, somewhat, his existence to save his world but luck will have it, his best friend remembered him as he remained unlike everyone else."

Rem was taken back with utter shock and surprise. That these heroes that her friend knew not only either had similar experiences or things that couldn't be described, but still remained strong. It was inspiring to hear about each hero's tale.

"But of course… There was my predecessor… Tokiwa Sogou."

"Tokiwa… Sougo?"

"The original Zi-O. Remember the tale I told you behind my power? That lonely boy was him." Cody sighed with a soft smile, "He had a simple dream… 'Be a King'. That's all he wanted, and not even he knew fully why but he accepted it. As he gained the power of Zi-O and the other riders, he also grew something he always wanted…. Friends."

"He… just wanted friends?" Rem got out.

"Mhm…. But when those friends either sacrificed themselves to help him or stop their greatest enemy? He took on the full power of Oma Zi-O… but not to rule as a wretched demon lord, but to reset his timeline and not only restore the past Riders, but give his two friends a new life with him. He sacrificed all of his divine nigh impossible power… just so he can be with his friends." Cody finishing his tale as he turned to Rem, a smile on his face as he reached up and gently petted her head.

"That is why I won't do such a thing. Know that Sherra and I are with you no matter what because we love you. But rest assured, I will find a way to remove the demon sealed inside you so you can be free."

The girl's eyes brimmed with tears before she sobbed. She attempted to wipe away the tears but it never stopped. For so many years, she was alone and scared. She had to avoid so many people and move to so many places to stay safe and alive. But now? She had two people already who accepted her for who she was and wanted her to live.

Cody was about to pat her back before she lunged and hugged the blonde boy, crying into him as he gave a caring smile before he hugged her back. He even rubbed her back and petted her head as gently as he could to give her the comfort she needed until she felt better.

"D-Do… Do you… promise?" Rem questioned him.

"Time or space wouldn't make me break it, Rem. I promise we'll stay with you forever more, and I'll find some way to remove that demon within you." Cody answered, promising and vowing to her. "Without hurting you."

"Thank you…. Thank you…." Rem wept as she continued to cry into his arms, as the young rider let her do so. Before long, Rem fell asleep, resting on his laps as Cody gently petted her, hearing the Patherian purr as it made him chuckle.

Cody sighed softly with content as he turned his head to see the stars outside, his mind pondering on this whole thing. Even with him gaining such powers, he knew fully well his deadly powers couldn't solve everything. Sometimes a humane touch was in order.

He'll have to figure things out tomorrow as he hoped both Eternal and W Xtreme's powers could give him the answer he needed as he had no idea if the powers he possesses will be enough to extract the demon without harming the girl. He only hoped the Gaia Library would give him an answer. Well that is if the Gaia Library can even access this world's history.

The young rider heard the door open as he turned to see Sherra walk in. She almost made a sound in which he held a finger against his lips to make sure Sherra doesn't make too much noise to wake up the slumbering catgirl.

"What happened?" Sherra whispered.

"Long story short? Rem has a demon sealed inside her and it was slowly tearing her mental state down. I promised her not only we'd stay with her forever, but I'll find some way to remove it without harming her." Cody explained to the elf girl.

"That's why she seemed distracted…"

"Along with her odd responses too…" Cody nodded, "I could feel her sadness and worries… and I couldn't just ignore it."

His eyes drift down to her. "Being lonely isn't always a good thing. Sometimes your own well being can snap and drive you insane." He murmured. "To have people there for you can help heal you. Reminding you that they are always there for you, supporting you." He remembered how his family and friends were there for him when he was struck with the illness. Upon dying he had thought he would be alone, but instead he was brought into this world and met Sherra and Rem. And while he does miss his home, he's also content being here with them.

The young rider soon felt a hug as he turned to see Sherra now being the one to support and hug him in return. He was a bit taken back by it, but he simply smiled as he returned the hug to the kind elf girl with his free arm given he had the other pet Rem.

"Thank you Sherra… I needed that too." Cody smiled.

"We're not just friends, Cody. We're also a family too." Sherra smiled happily at him. "Everyone needs both to survive, otherwise we'd never be able to continue as we are now."

Cody chuckled softly as he nodded in agreement to her, "You have some good wisdom as well, Sherra."

Sherra responded with a giggle and playful wink in response before she sat down as she looked down at the slumbering Pantherian as well, "I'm glad she could be honest with us…. Even I could tell something was off with her."

The otherworlder sniffed in agreement and took a deep breath.

He will learn more to his power. It isn't just a mere gift. It is also a curse that could end the world with a snap of his finger. And that wasn't a joke at all. The more he grasps it just like he did earlier, he will understand more to use it more broadly. To protect his two new friends who are as Sherra said — family.

That he swears to do.

A/N: Hello everyone! New chap, new update. Yeah this is a bit on the short side, but hey not always that big of a problem here. Just something to give some development to them all, alongside with the build up of whats to come soon.

Felt like this was a good stopping point here and let it all sink in. Cause we all know soon, a bit change will happen alongside feelings beginning to build up as well.

Now for something that I figured some people would ask. Could Oma Zi-O truly remove Kremsleb from Rem without any issue? Well... tbh I truly have no idea. While OP as he is, its hard to say how much of his power can affect this reality or at least a single person. There could be many problems that we're not aware of and I rather have it build up like the series did too, with changes of course.

And yeah, like I've typed out, we wouldn't know if the Gaia Library would exist or have the knowledge of this reality. So problems like that could happen. I got lots of ideas in the future for this and I hope you all continue to enjoy this well.

Until then, see ya later minna!
