Oh boy, Gus is going along with them as their guide? They're gonna stick out like a sore thumb...
Writer: You never know. I think they'll have to figure it out.

Great chapter. The ending was super cute. Also, I feel like Odalia's plan is going to fail since Lilith knows where Eda lives, but still fails to capture her, but we shall see. Curious to see what happens next.
Writer: Thank you very much, Sorry for the delay. Odalia has some evil plans up her sleeve. But for that, you have to wait and see.
OMAC001

So damn adorable. Man I can't wait to see a good reunion followed by a possible punch in the face.
Writer: Thank you very much, you may want to grab some protection. Don't know how much that punch will hurt.

happy 2yr anniversary to Enchanting Grom Fright
(also 1yr Eclipse Lake and KKKoHD last week)
Writer: Know I'm late on this, but I cant believe it has been a year since Lumity happened. Hiatus really changes a person.

Hooray! Lumity is Canon(in this AU)! This is an awesome story, I wonder what Odalia is going to do? Also, what's going to happen to Vee? Did you say this takes place near the beginning of summer, or a few months before?
Writer: Yes finally, it has happen. This takes place at the beginning of summer. I believe that the book report incident happens a few months before summer break so that's when this takes place. So unfortunately, Vee is not in this story, *cough* maybe an extra story later for that *cough*
Hey everybody. Sorry for being gone for three months. Started college so haven't had much time.
I figured with the release of season 3, I should sit down and finish this chapter. I think I'll be back, not to the same extent as before, but not three months between chapters.
Anyways thank you guys for reading and supporting my work even after my absence.

Luz opened her eyes and looked up at her ceiling, listening to the ambient noises around her. The faint sound of birds singing, the bark of a neighbor's dog, and a quiet house.
A quiet house?
Luz shot up out of bed. Why was the house quiet? Amity is usually an early riser and her mom took the day off today to help them get ready for the dance tonight. So there should be at least some sound.
Luz walked out of her room and headed downstairs keeping an ear out for any noises. She walked through the empty living room into the kitchen.
"Mami? Amity?" Luz said entering the kitchen with no response.
Luz stopped in her tracks at the sight she saw in the kitchen. There, right in the middle of the kitchen sat a note. Luz gasped, a little dramatically, and said, "A ransom note!" She ran over and picked up the paper and was immediately disappointed.
All it read was…
Taking Amity dress shopping. Stay in your room when we come home. It's gonna be a surprise!
-Love
Mamì
"Oh right I need to get ready for the dance!" Luz said once she finished reading the note. She spun back around and ran up the stairs. Once in her room, she threw her closet open and looked at the contents.
Luz rubbed her chin as she slowly scanned her articles of clothing until she stopped on one outfit. The otter outfit of the previous year shined brightly in her eyes, calling to her. She slowly reached out for it, but just before she grabbed it, her other hand grabbed her wrist.
"NO LUZ," She exclaimed, "We need to take this seriously, for Amity!" Luz pushed the costume aside and started looking for something else.
"I told you, I don't need a new dress, I can easily just borrow one," Amity insisted as she followed behind Camilla in the mall.
"Don't worry mija, we can't have you going to the dance in an old dress," Camilla paused for a moment before saying, "Speaking of dance… What's going on between you and my daughter, eh?" She nudged Amity's shoulder.
Amity looked away while blushing, "It's not like that…" Camilla laughed a bit, "Don't worry, just messing with you. Look, we're here."
Camilla and Amity stopped in front of a dress shop. Amity asked one more time, "Are you sure?"
"Yes, now hurry, I have a surprise for you once we're done." Camilla said pulling Amity into the store.
-A few hours earlier-
A lone squirrel scuttled across the deck of the old cabin. It stopped, standing up to check its surroundings. Suddenly a boot came crashing down causing the animal to scurry away into the safety of the forest.
"Welcome to the human world," Eda said as she stepped through. Behind her, the hexside group filed their way through the door. "Oh, my, TITAN! This is awesome!" Gus said as soon as he stepped through, and ran to look at all the plants, "Guys, look! Human trees!"
Willow giggled at Gus's antics while Emira and Edric stared off into the forest in front of them. Eda summoned the bags she packed and placed them on the ground, "Alright. Remember, I am giving you three days to find your sister. On the third day, be here by sundown, and I'll come to pick you up. Got it?" Eda looked at all the teens, who nodded in response.
"Alright good," Eda turned to head towards the door and then looked back, "Good luck finding your sister," and then stepped through the door, shutting it behind her.
Back in the Demon Realm, Eda clicked on the key to put the portal door in briefcase form. Throwing it off to the side, she plopped down onto the couch. "Sister, huh." I wonder how Lilith is doing?" She leaned her head back on the couch and closed her eyes.
"King, go get me some appleblood." she called out. After no response, she sat up, "King? Where is that little rascal?" She stopped for a moment, thinking. "Huh. he must've got stuck in a trashcan again. Better go get him." She stood up, grabbed Owlbert, and went for the door.
Eda threw open the door and was surprised to see who was on the other side.
"Why hello Edalynn."
There, at her door, stood Odalia Blight, flanked to be what seemed to be an abomination machine.
"Found this little guy wandering around." Odalia snapped her fingers and the Abomination grabbed a cage with King trapped inside, "Just thought you would want to talk, saying you have something I want.
Eda not wanting King to be hurt said, "Fine. Let's talk."
The hexside group stared at the closed door. "So we're finally in the human world, huh?" Willow said breaking the silence. "I know right, I'm so excited, I can't wait to go visit all the human places!" Gus said as he grabbed his "Notebook of Humans" in his bag.
"This isn't a field trip Gus," Emira said, "We need to find our sister." Edric walked up to the pile of bags and picked up two, handing one to his sister, while saying, "And speaking of which, we are wasting time. We need to go now."
Willow, realizing there was no way they could just go into the human world, blindly stopped them, "Wait, hold on." The twins stopped and looked at her, "We can't just go into the human world all willy-nilly. I mean look at our ears. Humans don't have these," Willow said flicking her ears.
"Well, what do you think we should do?" Edric asked.
Willow, reaching into her bag and pulling out a notebook said, "First of all, we need a plan."
Using the map Eda gave them in their backpacks of supplies, they decided to split up. The twins would go to the mall, a place for humans to gather, according to Gus. And Willow and Gus would walk around town.
They made it this way because the twins were better at long-term illusions, so they could be around more people. With Willow and Gus walking around town they could avoid people as much as possible.
Now here the twins were, staring up at the large building in front of them.
"This is the place, right?" Ed asked. "It has to be," Emira said looking at the roughly drawn map." The twins entered the large building, using illusions to hide their ears and hair color.
Once inside, they stared and the many people bustling around the building. How in the Titan are we going to find her?! Edric exclaimed.
"Ed come on, our sister has green hair. I think that's pretty easy to spot.", Emira said. "I don't think that's the case," Ed responded, pointing to a random teen with similar colored hair to their sister.
They both took a deep breath, getting ready for the task ahead of them.
"Let's get going," Emira said, taking the lead with her brother following closely behind.
As Ed and Em made their way through the mall, they examined all the strange stores they passed by.
One that confused them was called GameStop. Humans must really hate games to have a whole store dedicated to getting rid of them.
Shrugging off the strange human stores, they traveled deeper into the building. No matter where they looked, they could not find a green set of hair that belonged to their sister.
They did see a plethora of different hair colors though, a blond with a pink strip down the middle, one had their hair half and half, and one purple hair shopping with an older darker skinned lady that they saw across the mall, but no Amity.
They would give it a couple more hours till they stopped but until then...
Luz sat in her room, waiting for Amity and her mother to return. She had been ready for the past few hours now. Choosing a suit/dress combo for the dance(Grom outfit). Luz looked at the clock on her nightstand. She sighed, tapping her foot anxiously. She wanted tonight to go perfectly. But she didn't know if she could pull it off. She wanted to impress Amity but was afraid that she would mess everything up, again.
Luz was broken out of her thoughts as she heard the front door open and close. She shot up and went for the door. Just before she could open the door her mom called up, "Luz, stay in your room so I can get Amity ready!" Luz a little disappointed, listened to her mother and went back to sitting on her bed
About 45 minutes passed before her mom finally called, "Luz, come to the living room please!" Wasting no time, Luz made her way down the stairs. Arriving at the living room, she looked around for Amity but only saw he mother standing there
"Don't look so disappointed, mija. You'll see her soon." Camilla teased, walking up to her daughter. Luz just blushed as her mother fixed a strand of her hair. "Don't worry. I made sure to pretty her up for you." Luz watched as her mother walked around her.
"Mami, what are you doing," Luz asked. "Just adding to the surprise," Camilla replied putting her hands over Luz's eyes.
"Amity dear, you can come out now." Luz heard her mother call out and Amity walk into the room. Luz's heart started to pound waiting for her mother to remove her hands.
"Alright, you ready. 3…2…1…" Camilla said as she slowly removed her hands.
Luz's jaw dropped when she saw Amity. There she stood, her dress made from vivid purple fabric. It has a long flared skirt with an empire waist and round sleeves. It is accented with lace. On top of everything else, one thing stood out, her hair. It was now a beautiful lavender color that went well with the dress.
Amity stood there blushing as her nervousness grew with every second of Luz's silence. Not able to take it anymore she asked, "Does it look weird?"
Luz, realizing she had said nothing for over a minute, blurted out, "You're gorgeous! I mean, beautiful," She covered her face in embarrassment and squeezed out, "You look good."
"Yeah, you too," Amity said quietly before turning her head away to hide her bright red face.
They both stood there blushing awkwardly until Camilla broke the silence, "Alright you two. You guys are going to miss your reservation."
Luz breaking out of the blushfest asked, "Reservation?" Camilla pulled out a slip of paper saying, "I got you guys a fully paid dinner for that Italian restaurant you like so much." Luz ran and gave her mother a tight hug, "Thank you Mami!"
Amity just stood there and asked, "What's Italian?"
"Don't worry you'll like it," said Luz breaking away from the hug. Luz, excited with most of her nerves gone, started heading for the door, "Come on we're gonna be late." But before they could leave, Camilla stopped them, "One more thing," she pulled out her phone, "I want to take a picture."
Luz and Amity went and stood next to each other in the front doorway. Amity, with a random spurt of confidence, grabbed Luz's hand right when the picture went off.
Lumity, too giddy to realize they were still holding hands, turned around and head off to their reservation, and to the eventful night ahead of them.
Willow and Gus were sitting under a tree when they saw Edric and Emira walking towards them with their heads drooped. "I'm guessing that you guys didn't find her either." Willow asked as they stood up. "No, not anything. There is a surprising amount of humans with different colored hair," Emira said as the group started walking on the sidewalk. "I don't know what we are going to do. We don't even know if she is here." Edric said.
Gus put a hand on his shoulder, "Don't worry we have two more days to find her." Willow chimed in, "Yeah, for now, let's head back to the cabin, That way we can go and rest." The twins just nodded as the group made their way back.
As they were making their way through a neighborhood, someone called out to them, "Hey, you guys are witches right?" They all turned around to see a tan-skinned woman on her porch. Realizing that they forgot their illusions, they started to run into the forest nearby,
"Wait!, You're looking for Amity right!" The woman called out.
The twins stopped in their tracks.
"My name is Camilla Noceda, I can tell you where Amity is."
