Before you read, know that every story I can create underlines an issue I have seen both through my life and the world.
Barcode: The notion that the past defines who we are and that we will never be more than what we have been shown.
King's Throne: There will come a time when your choice won't matter and you'll have to accept what happens to you. That doesn't mean the choice can't be done your way.
And for the part, Omni represents the ideal of following in someone else's footsteps, out of respect and wishing to carry their memory. But the underlining issue…
Omni: Segregation(For Any Reason) & How Anyone Can Be A Target.
Hearing the door, the doctor twirled around in her chair and smiled.
"Hello, my name is Sone Akiko." Waving towards the giant chair across the room. "Please, take a seat."
Walking towards the chair, a hand extended, only to pull back.
With a soft, sad sigh, Sone said. "I know it's hard, but everyone's worried about you." That must've been the wrong thing to say because she flinched. "It may seem that, but not everyone is like that."
Taking a seat, Dr. Akiko watched with a slight frown, but it quickly turned into a friendly smile as she went over some papers.
"Now, I've gone through the reports, and I can say this was…interesting to read. Still, it's clear that you went through more than a physical change." Suddenly, she gasped before waving her hands. "Forgive! I didn't mean-"
A hand moved side to side as her guilt became confused.
"You're not bothered?" The doctor asked, only to sigh. "Alright, but we'll be checking on that later." Reaching for her clipboard, Sone adjusted her glasses. "For now, I'm going to ask you some questions. Please answer them as honestly as possible."
"First, what is your name?" She asked, but the answer confused the doctor, making her check the files. "That? It doesn't say that in your file. That isn't your name."
"No, but it's the name I've chosen."
Staring at the patient, she nodded and continued the examination.
"It says here that you've never-"
"They're dead, at least, that's what he told me."
"Yes," Grimacing, Dr. Akiko responded. "I read up on that… Would you like to talk about that?"
"Such as?"
"Were you treated well?"
"You are nothing but a disappointment. Like that woman, defying her father, the nerve. That name will never be yours. Better to distance yourself from my lineage."
"No. He didn't want me, but I guess, he didn't want my parents to have me, either."
"I-I see. What about your school life? I understand you attended JonshikI Academy. It's a very prestigious junior high school. Was-"
Flinching, the textbook bounced along the floor as vicious snickers and laughter filled the air.
"I was the constant target of bullying by the students and verbal harassment by the teachers. I'll admit some of my early actions were deserving, but they escalated even when I stopped. They found the old me revolting and spread terrible rumors that everyone, parents and faculty alike, ate up. I was beaten, abused, and mocked at every waking moment at that school."
With a haunted look, Dr. Akiko opened her mouth, but he raised his mouth.
"This isn't my first time being brought into therapy. I would always spend time talking to this nice man."
"Man?"
"Getting beaten must hurt, but don't worry. As long as I'm here, everything will get better. I'll make sure it does."
With a faint smile, he explained. "People use the words good and evil frequently, but do they ever realize that there could be more to what's happening around them? He-he was the only person who ever cared about me. Everything he did was to make people feel better. And now,"
"This waste will be proof of my superiority as I take my rightful place."
"What's the matter?" A twisted smile landed before him. "Going to cry. Go ahead. Toys like you break more funnily when you bawl your eyes out. I wonder, should I take your eyes and see if you'll cry out blood."
Lowering his head, his eyes lost their light as they started to water.
"He's gone, and…"
"Hey."
Purple eyes popped open as a bloody hand caressed his cheek before pulling away. Tears streamed down his face as he stared back at the back of the stranger as they turned to face the patchwork murderer.
"You're not alone, and you're damn sure ain't their puppet to play with. So, what if the world is against you? It doesn't matter if everyone hates you. If they want you gone, then they go through me. "
"W-Wh-"
"WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS PROTECTING THEM?! THEY DON'T WANT US!"
"why?" He sobbed. "Why does everything-"
"Since the moment we were born, everyone hated us! Just because we're a little bit different from them."
"It doesn't matter."
"I know you may never understand, but this is something I want to do. It upsets me too, but only because I have to watch you suffer through this." He turned back and faced his brother.
"I'll stand by your side and protect you." The stranger frowned, looking back at him. "Because…"
"I'll be…" Nagi smiled
"I'll be…" Omni declared, his watch shining brightly.
Your Hero/YOUR HERO
Bubbles(feat. Uta)
"We found where mutations are occurring."
An abandoned city appeared through the mist as their drone scanned the area.
"I-I didn't even know a place like this existed outside video games."
"Matsuo Mine. Back in the 19th century, it was called ``the paradise above the clouds."
"What a fitting name. Advance Unit, follow the drone signal, and enter the city. Find the villains and deal with them. Any civilians should be your primary objective and shall be escorted to our medical unit." Lady Nagrant ordered, getting confirmations from all sides. "Operation begins. Now!"
The Enemy…
Boro laughed insanely as he ripped through the police. Sashiko glared flatly as the massive ball of fire was suddenly split in half.
…Aren't As They Appear.
Shizue helped Epsilon back to her feet. "I just wanted to be normal."
"This way, before it's too late." The Doctor gritted his teeth, carrying his patient on his back as he rushed through the halls with Eraserhead.
Does Being A Hero Mean They Can't Do No Wrong?
"You were the Previous Number One Hero, right? Before All Might?" Delta frowned. "The Sword Hero: Blade."
"That is right."
Is Something Only Evil Because Others Deem It So?
"You call this madness, what do you know of madness? Madness is watching those less fortunate than others being treated as subspecies simply because they can't meet society's absurd expectations. And having the people, who are supposed to protect them, do nothing because they don't see it as anything wrong."
"That doesn't give you the right to use your quirk-"
Even When They Don't Know The Full Story?
"I don't have a quirk," He revealed, much to their shock. "See. You instantly assumed that I was anything other than Quirkless because deep down, you think people can't accomplish anything without one. Not even villainy."
Is It Right?
"All I've ever wanted from this project," Blue eyes fell onto the slumbering child in his arms. "To give them, give him. A Future where he could be loved."
To Destroy A Child Because Others Feel Like They Should?
"No," Ataru growled, biting into his already bleeding lips. "After everything I learned, I won't let anyone go through what I had to."
No.
"No Matter What!" Swampfire engulfed Boro in a storm of fire. "YOU'RE NOT TAKING THIS KID!"
will history repeat itself?
Bursting through the flames, Boro laughed as his charcoal flesh regenerated.
"Funny," He grinned at the furious plant monster. "I thought you said you weren't a hero."
The First Major Arc
"I'm not, but I promised I'd save him," Shifting into his stance, Swampfire scowled. "So, for Kintoki,"
Formula Zero
"Like Nagi was for me."
Will Soon Commence.
"I'll be his hero."
Putting her clipboard aside, Dr. Akiko sighed happily as her phone vibrated. "It looks like we're done for now. Your foster parents should be arriving soon." As they rose from their seats, Akiko held her hand out, and to her pleasant surprise, he shook her hand. "Look forward to working with you, Kintoki."
"That isn't my name," The young man chuckled, his purple shoulder-length hair brushed against his purple eyes. Standing at 4'13, his black shirt and jeans clashed with his dark purple sneakers. "I like the name I was given."
The only remnant of his old self was two small hard purple spheres attached to his ears like jewelry.
"Of course," Akiko smiled. "Mineta."
Special Mentions to Redemption of A Grape Hero by LeMel, and Authors like DarkStarError1010, TheTwins1-2, and others. I'm not very good at long speeches, do me a favor and look up "An Analysis of Mineta Minoru" by Titanmaster_117. Summarizes my thoughts better than anything I could ever say. I know that not everyone wants Mineta killed/expelled, but not many are willing to take the time to make him the center of attention, let alone write about him. And while I understand his actions can be irritating, that's no excuse. Look up tags relating to Mineta Minoru on Ao3 and you understand where I am coming from. Anyways to these authors, thanks for being willing to give the little guy a chance.
Especially LeMel. Thx for creating a story that pushed me past my darkness, and inspiring this Arc.
A.N to K.T and BL:BC: So, you're probably wondering why I added this here. I'm going to make one more chapter for King's Throne, Barcode, and finish the Neptune Arc, then it's right to work on Formula Zero. That means I won't be updating for a long while. To make up for that. Here is a sneak peek for future chapters(not even planned out yet). I'm a troll. I know.
King's Throne
*Crack*
Nanami froze, his acceptance turning to shock.
*Crack*
Even at the height of what felt like a victory, Mahito picked up on the bizarre noise behind him. Slowly, ever so slowly, he turned around, and in the formation of hands…
There was a crack.
*Crackle*
And it was growing.
Azusa's smirk becomes an insane grin. "What was that you said? That I was a fool for trusting that weakling, and how he could never save anyone. Well, I think you're wrong. For as long as I've known him, Yuji Itadori has Never quit. It's true. Quit, Give Up, Surrender, Fail. Those words to Yuji just mean more elbow grease. You were hoping that pushing him over the edge would give you a chance to awaken Sukuna, but you're wrong."
As the cracks spread through the Self Embodiment of Perfection, Azusa cackled. "All you fucking did…" Spreading her arms out wide, she shouted. "WAS MAKE MY IDIOT GODSON STRONGER THAN BEFORE, DIPSHIT!"
Just then, the Domain shattered apart and revealed a black sky as a figure sat upon a deformed shrine.
Looking up, four crimson eyes trained themselves on their prey
"Ryōiki Tenkai: Fukuma Mizushi."
Black Lagoon: Barcode
Two shots and they were down, but Revy didn't want to stick around to make sure.
"Fucking Fuck!" Two-Hands swore, pressing her gun against the hole in her shoulder as she sprinted down the alley. "Where are you, Rock!? I can't keep this up for much longer."
Sadly, Fate decided to make a bitch out of her because the moment steps into the night light, she leaped back into the alley as gunfire fell heavily from her right. Their reinforcements had found her and now they were going to let her go.
"Shit!" Revy shouted, pressed against the wall. With a stray glance to the left, she noticed two black armored vans approaching her location. Swearing mentally, Revy had no choice but to head
This didn't go well, and despite her fury, her fear was growing.
"I can't die here," Revy swore softly as her thoughts turned toward Rock, her eyes widened. "Why was-"
"Revy!"
*Bang*
*Bang*
Instantly, Revy dived, sliding across the ground before aiming at what seemed to be another fucked up Nun, only for the skank to drop dead.
"Fucking bitch! Must have been hiding up someone's ass," Revy spat out, rising as she smirked wildly. "Thanks for the assist, Ro-"
Blood.
Words failed her as she watched streams of crimson pour onto the floor like rain. Short breaths came from them both, but for different reasons.
Relieved chuckles spilled drops of crimson as the one opened eye had a reddish tint. "Sorry, it took me so long. Didn't expect the Saints. Roberta and Carlton should be coming soon. Following the bodies," Falling on one knee, Rock tipped forward and managed to say this. "Glad your…safe."
A scream filled the air long before his body hit the ground.
To explain: This was originally meant for my Omni story, but I got addicted to anime trailers after rewatching some on Youtube, so I decided to show this to my other fanfics. Sorry If I confused anyone, I just wanted to see if I make an interesting trailer.
