A Love Letter (I)

I Love You.

Even with the loss, I still persist. It was because of your love, it was because of your violence, that I still exist. Even when I was threatened to disappear, to be swallowed by the Music, you saved me when you killed me.

We are now One, or at least we were. For having felled the Face-Snaked Queen and hunted the Huntsman was not enough for you. You longed for more than I could offer, than the Dawn's Beauty could ever offer. You were imprisoned, a prisoner who could now see his chains, but without the method to break them.

And now look at you. Was this what you wanted? A World without a Wheel, an earth without Old Bones; false goddesses instead of false ancestors; you exchanged old chains for new ones.

"What do you want, who are you?" cries the mock divinity. "Please, stop it!"

You tried to escape Fate, but only ended up interfering with a new one. Why do you deign to interfere in the family affairs of others? She is not a daughter of Veloth, she is just an aimless orphan, abandoned by an indifferent Father and scorned by her sisters. You do not love her, and yet you are willing to suffer.

All three of us are now captives. The Void Ghost is still locked inside you, you are trapped in the new currents of Fate, and I rest imprinted on a False Monarch.

"By Laurentia, make it stop!" the blonde-haired woman agonized. "Let me rest, let me dream in peace!"

A new Ruling King will emerge. A worthy son of the Schemer Princess, he seeks to dominate. His ambition is voracious, yearning to devour the land itself and distort it in his image. He will win. He has already won. He has done it a thousand times, he will do it a thousand times again.

This is how it should be. The love of the Slaver-King will resound, and all must heed. Why, then, will you rebel?

"I'm begging you, please!" she cried out as she covered her long ears, which only represented a poor mimicry of those of the Mer.

Choose the southern path, where the vacant throne awaits you.

Heal this moribund melody and awaken me from this foreign dream.

I await for you to find me, to kill me, to love me, to set me free.

Make us whole again.

I Love You.

A/N: I apologize for the shortness of this. A real chapter is on the way. And I'm sure you're wondering, what does this mean? All the information you need to know is there, you just have to look a little bit to understand it.

Adiós.
