KS: It just occurred to me a few days ago: "don't all groups need some kind of master to hone their skills and keep them in line?" Well, I just thought of the dragon fit for the job. Let's see how they react to him.

Standing on a cliff was a figure wearing a cloak, watching Issei, Yang and Talulah walk through the forest, unaware of the danger they will soon be in.

"Since it occurred, many people have worked tirelessly learn the truth behind the Dimensional Amalgamation, but have yet to make any significant progress."

Soon enough, armored mercenaries wielding rifles and swords slowly peered from behind the trees, keeping a close eye on their targets.

"In the meantime, the inhabitants of their own worlds slowly began to accept one another."

Talulah pauses and looks behind her. Issei and Yang do the same, and immediately noticed the armored soldiers approaching them.

"But there are those who struggle in their new surroundings."

The soldiers attack the trio immediately, and they respond in kind.

"They resort to unsavory methods to get by in this strange new world."

Yang punches one of the soldiers away while Talulah uses her arts to set fire to several more.

"They are lost, yet continue to lose themselves to their inner darkness."

Issei lets out a roar as he equips his Scale Mail, brutally beating down the soldiers that attacked them.

"It is my believe that those three in particular are a prime example of that problem."

The trio had fought off the soldiers, but were given no time to breathe, as a giant mech tore through the trees, storming towards them.

"Quick question," Issei said to the girls. "Did either of you piss off a god in your last life?"

Yang shrugged with her usual shallow grin. "I dunno."

"Taking my track record into account, it may be possible," Talulah replied in a neutral tone.

Issei sighed and stared down the mech through his armor. "Let's just beat this thing and get it over with."

The trio fought the mech with everything they had, but it was too much for them. Its power outmatched their own. Its weapons were more varied and versitile. And they were fatigued from the endless onslaught of soldiers.

"I do not have the right to judge them, for I have been in their position before."

The figure slowly walked towards the cliff, tightly holding a bow.

"But at the very least… I can do my best to provide guidance."

The figure jumped off the cliff and dove towards the mech. Just as the machine was about to fire from its cannons. A hail of arrow rained down and disabled them.

"Whoa!" Issei exclaimed.

"What the hell?" Yang yelped, dropping her smirk.

"Such precision," Talulah said in awe.

The mech stagged, and the figured dropped down in front of it, losing his cloak in the process. Standing before the trio was a middle-aged man with black hair tied in a ponytail, wearing a brown jacket, black pants and matching boots.

"Stand back," he ordered, pulling an arrow from his quiver and drawing it back with his bow. As he did, blue energy began to surround his arms.

The mech was able to return online, but by the time it did, it was already too late.

"RYUU GA WAGA TEKI WO KURAU!"

With those words, he released the arrow, and with it, two large dragons appeared, swiring towards the mech. Once they made contact, they completely destroyed the machine.

Issei, Yang, and Talulah stared at awe at sight, even when the man turned to face them.

"Are any of you hurt?" he asked.

The trio looked amongst themselves, then towards the man.

"We're good," Yang said. "But who are you?"

The man narrowed his eyes at the blonde. "Has no one told you that it is proper etiquette to introduce yourself first?"

Yang snorted. "Etiquette. Another useless thing in this world."

The man sighed, then heard a thud ring out. He saw Yang rub the back of her head while Talulah had her fist up, presuming she was the one who struck her. Issei decided to introduce themselves to the man.

"I'm Issei Hyodo, the blonde is Yang Xiao Long, and the chick with the horns with Talulah Artorius. Who might you be?"

The man slightly relaxed his expression as he introduced himself.

"My name… is Hanzo Shimada."

Standing before three broken souls is another kindred spirit. Haunted by his past, he wanders this new world with no direction. But after seeing the youths, he made a decision. He would guide them through this world and show them what it means to live. Perhaps with time, they would do the same to him.

Hanzo Shimada, the former heir of the Shimada Clan… now, he is the Guiding Azure Dragon.

KS: So, do you think Hanzo will serve as a good mentor to these dragons? We shall soon see.
