Angel: Big thank you to the community Amazing Fanfiction Stories for adding this story onto there! I'm honestly surprised this story made it on that community, it's come from a long way since 2020. Feels like it was just yesterday when I started writing both this and Huntcila.

And I deleted some of the guest reviews telling me this, but if they're reading, I know I made mistakes with the last one, I was tired and I was trying to get it out as soon as I could because of my lifestyle! So they're fixed now, you can stop telling me about the errors. Also I kept getting even more ideas from Deviantart and from here, and this chapter was really long, so I ended up not using them. I'm sorry, but I was already writing so much content here that I couldn't keep adding more and more! Or else I'd go insane if I added every single one of them ^^'

And OMG, this story has the most favorites out of everything I've written! Thank you so much to those who are reading!

Luz was at her mom's workplace, sitting at the waiting area. Her egg palisman was in front of her as she heard dogs and cats in the distance. "Hmm, what will you be, little palisman?" She wondered as she looked through a book. "A bird like Owlbert? A cool bug? Maybe an octopus so we can hold hands? Or maybe..." She flipped through another page, seeing the plant glyph drawn on there. "Maybe you'll never hatch...and I messed up your life too," She murmured sadly, a hand on her cheek.

"How's the lamp working?" Her mom suddenly asked, Luz flinching as she wondered if her mom heard her.

"Just fine."

"Good," Camila walked up with a smile, her hair in a bun. "I'm ready to lock up," She left and Luz turned off the lamp, standing up. She looked at her notebook in confusion as smoke came from the glyph. She then looked at her hand to see a scorch mark, raising a brow.

Hunter tapped a foot anxiously, Lucila pacing in front of him. Will and Cori had gone home at this point. Flapjack chirped as he landed on the couch. "Did you know about this?" Hunter asked his palisman, looking up. "That he was here? I can tell you're hiding something."

Melody chirped up at him angrily, a look she hadn't had before.

Flapjack chirped and Lucila glanced at him. "Hey, don't get mad at Flapjack. He probably doesn't know anything," The girl crossed her arms. Hunter sighed slowly to calm down.

"Sorry. I shouldn't take this out on you. I'm just scared..." He admitted and Lucila's eyes softened. She stepped forward and sat next to him. She placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "And I'm scared for you too. Belos wants to kill you, and he won't stop until he's done that," He gripped his arms and she hugged him comfortingly.

"Hunter, it's okay. We'll figure this out together. Trust me, I don't wanna face it either, but we will," She kissed his cheek and he smiled weakly. They heard Camila and Luz return, the two picking up their palismen. They placed them in a cage, the two chirping at them.

"Don't worry, Flap and Melody. If Belos is really here, we'll keep you safe. And I'll do the same with you," He kissed Lucila's cheek affectionately and she blushed, smiling. They left, the two birds still chirping at them. They opened the door to greet Luz and Camila. Hunter waved to Camila, who placed a hand on his shoulder, earning a smile. Luz walked up to the two.

"Guys, what's wrong?" She could immediately tell something was up.

"Belos," They answered while narrowing their eyes. She gasped from the answer.

They went back to the house they teleported through. Hunter held a rake as Lucila had a shovel. "Are you sure you guys saw him? I thought the Collector destroyed Belos," She turned to them in concern.

"Yeah. We're...we're sure," Hunter sweated a little and Lucila frowned.

"You know...you don't have to go in if you don't want to," She offered him gently. "We could call the others."

"I know...but we both know I have to," He smiled at her, indicating that he was doing it for her sake. She smiled back at him, but the sisters noticed his hands shaking still.

"Hey. Like Luci said, we can wait for the others if you-"

"No! We have to take care of this ourselves," Hunter denied quickly, looking away. "Titan, I hate this!" The wind blew in, knocking over some masks. "I was never scared as the Golden Guard."

"Then how about we bring back some of that masked confidence, huh?" She put on an owl mask, making a scary sound and he smiled at her. Lucila just chuckled a bit, taking a mask that was in the likeness of Eda somehow. Hunter kicked open the door as they rushed in.

"Alright, Belos, what's about to happen should be relatively painless, if you just do what we say," He held his rake tight.

"That's right! So come out with your hands behind your creepy, dumb head!"

"We all know you love making an entrance!" Lucila taunted as they stepped forward. They saw a shadow move to the left. Hunter looked down to the hallway and saw that it was just a small spider on a web. The sisters peeked in as they walked down the hall together. Hutner peeked into another doorway, seeing only darkness. Luz opened a door, the wind blowing in on some debris. They hadn't bothered to touch the rest of the house, because it was just kinda creepy. Not to mention that because of their focus on trying to get back home, there was no reason to. Lucila checked into a closet, setting the ratty webbed clothes in front of her. They heard a rattle and looked forward in alarm.

They stepped forward to some wallpaper that looked off. Luz ripped it away to reveal a door. She opened it to reveal a staircase leading down to a basement. They all went down the steps, Lucila flipping the light switch. They all gasped as a wardrobe up ahead was rattling like crazy. The light only focused on the wardrobe and they glanced at each other. They all stepped forward into the light, getting closer as they were prepared for him. Luz reached out to the doorknob, pulling it open. They looked down with wide eyes at a possum, which screeched at them. They watched it run off and Luz sighed in relief.

"Oh, thank goodness. It's just a little angel."

"More like little demon by the looks of it," Lucila murmured as she watched it run up the staircase. Hunter rubbed the back of his neck as the girls took off their masks.

"No one's here. I guess it was just in our heads."

"Well, can't blame you two for being paranoid after everything we've been through," Luz gave a shrug with a small smile. "Especially you, Belos wanted to kill you," She pointed up at Lucila.

"Don't remind me, the prick," The girl looked annoyed at the memory of Belos deeming her his prey.

"Yeah. You know," Hunter hugged himself as Luz closed the wardrobe. "I just wanna make sure everyone's safe. Including the ones who are most important to me," He blushed as Lucila flinched and she gave a bashful smile.

"Same," Luz lightly punched Hunter. "And that includes you too."

"What?"

"Yeah. Gonna make sure you're safe too, Hunter," She leaned a bit for her head to touch his shoulder. "You're family now."

"Luz is right. And I wouldn't change that for the world," Lucila smiled happily at him.

"Oh..." Hunter looked away and started crying as tears fell from his eyes. They stared at him as he wiped away a tear. And then he started full on weeping, turning to Lucila and hugging her tightly. He cried into his shoulder.

"Oh, carino..." She murmured softly as she hugged him back, realizing that he didn't have a true family until Luz had said it herself. Luz joined in on the hug and he pulled off his mask.

"Ah, this mask is pretty gross now. And so is probably your sweater, sorry about that," He looked up at his girlfriend. All of them let out a laugh and Lucila smiled lovingly, reaching up and wiping away his tears with her thumbs.

"You can cry on my sweater as long as I don't get snot on me," She giggled playfully. He was just so happy that he hugged her waist and twirled her around, both of them laughing. Luz smiled at the two being in love.

"I love you, esplendida," He gave her a big kiss on her chin and she grinned from the contact.

"I love you too, carino."

"Aww, this is so wholesome..." Luz swooned at them, clasping her hands. While she was shaken most of the time now, she still loved the two together.

"You're something else, you know that?" Lucila snorted in amusement as she pulled away and walked off.

"I'm your something else of a sister," Luz stuck out her tongue at her. "Let's get back before anyone worries."

"Yeah. Everything's okay," Hunter murmured as when they reached the staircase, he held onto Lucila's hand. She squeezed it back. "Belos is gone." However, his shadow had formed into that of Belos himself...

They made it back home and entered the living room. "Hey, we're back!" Hunter greeted everyone in the living room. "Heh heh, and we bought some, uh, cars." Luz nudged him as that was a wrong word, but at the same time, he wasn't lying...

"Luz! We're designing our costumes for the Haunted Hayride," Amity spoke up excitedly. Vee and Ivy weren't interested in going, so they were going to stay home.

"Guess what I've got planned?" Gus asked Hunter excitedly, putting on a fake headset. "I'm gonna be Captain Avery, and you're..." He opened up a box to show something and Hunter gasped sharply.

"Chief Engineer O'Bailey?" He gave an excited noise while nuzzling the pin. Camila finished her sip of tea nervously.

"How do you know about Cosmic Frontier?"

"All of Luci's books in your basement," Hunter answered her, snuggling his girlfriend. "Thanks for introducing me to the series!"

"Huh?" Lucila asked in confusion, shaking her head. "Oh, those books aren't actually mine."

"Wait, really?" Hunter blinked at her.

"You saw my instruments, but I usually keep merch of my favorite franchise in my room. Which is Teenage Monster Samurai Reptiles," She grinned widely, everyone staring at her but not in a weird way. They were just mainly a little surprised that she kept it quiet for so long. "What? Let me like what I like," She shrugged at them.

"But this is yours, mija!" Camila smiled anxiously. "Funny how things just show up in basements, right? Without you hiding or putting them there," She laughed awkwardly. "Remember when I gave you that Cosmic Frontier costume and you took it off, running around butt naked?"

Lucila's face turned red in embarrassment as that was only half true. She actually had dressed up as her least favorite character from her favorite franchise because her mom got the wrong costume. And so at only 5, she ripped the thing off and ran up to her room naked. "MOM!" Lucila shouted in humiliation as she clenched her fists angrily.

"Life sure is full of surprises," Camila finished while trying to not look suspicious, as the series was her favorite, and one of the reasons why she was bullied.

"Cool! Humans freak out just like us," Gus smiled at her. "But is what she saying actually true?" He smirked at Lucila, who crossed her arms while taking a defensive stance.

"I admit to nothing, but I can confirm that the book series isn't mine. Azura was my thing until it was Luz's," She said while glaring at her mom. Camila gave a nervous look as she knew that Lucila was gonna talk to her later...

"It'll be fun. We wanna experience your weird human traditions," Willow put on a fake pair of vampire teeth. She then did an evil laugh.

"And I thought you and I could take inspiration from..." She paused what was on TV. "Good Witch Azura the Movie 2: The Betrayanning!" She then played the mobie as an explosion happence. Azura fired a magic blast.

"Hecate, I'll protect you!" However, the blast did nothing to the enemy.

"Give her over, Azura. It's for your own good."

"Never!" Azura shouted angrily up at her.

"I could be the Hecate to your Azura," Amity held up a picture of the two, walking over to Luz. "What do you think?"

"Oh, wow. Yeah, l-let's do it!" Luz smiled, hugging her girlfriend.

"How could you do it, Villainous Luci?" Azura demanded with tears streaming down her face. "How could you betray your friends? Now everyone is gone!"

"It was for...the greater good."

Hunter's eyes widened at the name, glancing down at Lucila. "Wait, was your name taken from this movie?"

"Yeah..." She rubbed her neck awkwardly. "The movie's based off the 2nd book where she first appeared, and that came out before I was born."

"We'll never forgive you," Azura stated and Luz opened her eyes, feeling like she'd get this reaction from her friends someday. "Never!" She frowned at the TV sadly.

"Please wear that Celda costume to this thing," Hunter begged Lucila while grasping her arm, earning a laugh as she remembered how he reacted to it. "Oh, tomorrow morning, I have something to show you," He smiled down at his girlfriend, confusing her.

Ivy came into the living room with a guitar. "Hey guys, hope you have fun at this thing."

"You sure you don't wanna come?" Willow asked her and she waved it off.

"Nah. Plus I have a feeling that Jacob guy might do something if Vee and I go out," She narrowed her eyes in rage. "Maybe next year."

"You play the guitar?" Lucila noticed her instrument. "How?"

"We met this witch who was in the Emperor's Coven. They found out about us and helped us escape. After that, they helped us find shelter and go into hiding until we came here. They helped me learn."

Lucila, Hunter, and Luz all smiled a bit as they knew she was talking about Raine…

Luz touched the ceiling to her bed, unable to sleep yet again. She rolled over to her side, turning around and smiling at Amity. But then she remembered the big secret she still hadn't told Amity...she felt awful for keeping it for this long, especially since she had already lied to Amity before. She took her laptop and walked off with it into the kitchen. She opened it up, seeing a picture of herself and Amity as the background. She opened up her video recorder and pressed record. "Dear diary, all I ever wanted was to be good at something," She placed a hand on her cheek. "To be around people who also liked that something. And when I found the Demon Realm with my hermana, I thought, wow! I found it. I can learn magic. I can be a witch! I-I won't be the dummy in the principal's office anymore!" Tears appeared in her eyes as she rested her chin on the table. "But I messed up too much, and put everyone in danger," She sat up, wiping at her eyes. "Mama says I have to learn from my mistakes. So...I know what I have to do now..." A tear ran down her face.

Hunter carried Lucila bridal style outside the house the next morning as she had her eyes closed. "Can I open my eyes now?" She asked hopefully and he chuckled.

"Come on, esplendida, entertain me here for a bit," He replied as he walked down the street.

"No offense, but after trying to survive in the Boiling Isles and dealing with...stuff, I can't help but feel skeptical," She remarked and he winced a bit, remembering all of their drama in the Boiling Isles.

"I bought you those supplies for your lute, didn't I? Even though you never mentioned it to me, I knew that you loved it," He smiled proudly while closing his eyes.

"Alright, point there. But you could just walk me, you didn't have to carry me," She pointed out to him.

"Yeah, but I gotta stay strong to protect my girlfriend from more potential threats somehow. I'm part of her family now," He smirked down at her. He then leaned forward and kissed her cheek, neck, and chin rapidly. She let out a loud 'pfft' as she laughed out loud, squirming a little.

"Oh my god, stop!" She giggled from his kisses all over her face. "Come on!"

"There's my goofy Luci," He grinned and she snorted in laughter.

"You did not just call me that!" She called out, thankful that the others weren't here to make fun of that. "Hunter!" She screeched while giggling.

"Alright, alright," He put her down safely, backing away with a smile as she adjusted herself. "You can open your eyes now."

She opened them and looked around as she was in a different part of the neighborhood, but didn't see anything in particular. "Uhh, what is it that I'm supposed to be surprised by?" She chuckled awkwardly as she was on an empty street.

"Look straight ahead," He gently moved her head forward. "You see that house in front of you?"

She rolled her eyes to the back of her head. "Yes, I see Cori's house in front of me. But why are we here at her place? A jam session isn't usually a surprise nowadays for us."

"Yes, but it's not that. While we've been staying on Earth, I did some digging. Your mom mentioned you've been looking for jobs, but none of them stuck out."

"Right..." She raised a brow, glancing up at him. "Mainly because most people aren't hiring or I haven't been picked."

"Correct. And you need transportation, right? Starting today...you won't have to worry about getting a job to pay for that."

She still looked confused and then opened her mouth in shock as Will and Cori pushed a silver sedan out of some bushes with big grins. "What?! You...you got me a car?" She turned around to Hunter in alarm. "B-But how?"

"Yep," He smiled down at her. "Will and Cori told me about the car junkyard, and we managed to pitch in some money to buy it. Then we cleaned it up and Cori's uncle made sure it's up and running. I even have the papers to sign it over to you," He offered her a paper that she had to sign.

Happy tears formed in her eyes as she couldn't believe he did all that for her. "Hunter, I don't know what to say! This is too much—aah, my boyfriend helped buy me a car!" She cheered while pumping her fists, sniffling. "I can't believe it, thank you so much," She hugged him happily.

"I also wanted to say that I really appreciate you never giving up on me," He rubbed the back of his neck. "Even when I...did a lot of things I shouldn't have-"

"Wait, what has he done?" Cori narrows her eyes suspiciously. They sweated a little as they knew if they told her, she wouldn't like it. They had told the two about Hunter's background, but not every single detail, they left out all of the...complicated stuff. Mainly because if Cori found out, she wouldn't take it well.

"But you still had faith in me, and you think of me as family. And if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be here now. And...I wanna thank you."

She blushed, shaking her head bashfully. "Carino, you don't have to thank me. I didn't do it all myself, I-"

"No, you deserve it after all of the emotions I put you through back in the Boiling Isles," He held her hands. "So...can I show my gratitude?" He pressed his forehead to hers and she smiled, nodding. He leaned in, but then glared up at Will and Cori as they were still there.

"...Oh! Uh, don't mind us, we're just watching your adorableness," Cori waved it off. "Continue with your moment-" Will grabbed her by the arms and lifted her up with a blank look, ushering her inside. "Oh, okay, guess not! I'll be watching from inside since it's my house!"

"I'm sorry about...everything with her," Will murmured to the two as the door closed behind them.

"Maybe we don't have romantic moments outside of my friends' houses anymore," Lucila suggested with a giggle towards Hunter.

"Agreed," He looked away, a bit annoyed. She looked away in thought as she wanted to do something for him now.

She sat in her room later on as she was doing something at her desk. The girl fiddled with the item in her hand and finished it. "Do you think he'll like it?" She held up a white squared bead bracelet with tiny painted pictures of a wolf, the initials CF, the initials RR, cotton candy, a music note, and more pictures that were symbols of their summer together. "Or is it too tacky?" She asked Ivy and Cori hesitantly.

"I think he'll love it!" Ivy smiled at her in encouragement.

"Yeah, I'm sure lover boy will appreciate it since it's from you," Cori patted her back and Lucila smiled as she held it up to inspect it.

The sun set that night as all of the lights turned on from houses. The Halloween Festival was well under-way, Lucila actually driving her sister, boyfriend, and friends there along with her mom. Lucila parked as she, her friends, and Hunter all stepped out. Will was dressed as a zombie with fake pale skin, zombie hands, a large brown jacket over a fake bloody shirt, and some jeans. His hair was a wild mess, the right side of his eye painted to look like it was rotting away. Cori was dressed as a vampire with a black cloak and red short dress with black boots. She had fake vampire teeth and her hair was in a bun. Then Camila stopped, the others getting out. Luz turned around to her mom. "Make sure to help Vee and Ivy with the trick-or-treaters. You know they can be...demanding," She said in a bit of fear.

"Luz, are you okay?" Camila blinked at her. "You don't look so well."

"Hm?" Lucila blinked at her sister as she walked up to them, holding Hunter's hand.

"I was just so excited for this, I couldn't sleep," She waved it off, Amity gathering Gus and Willow as she glanced over her back. She couldn't help but notice that Lucila was looking at Luz a little skeptical.

"Alright. We'll keep the puzzle a secret till the time is right. And then, we'll tell them about the Titan Blood!" Amity clasped her hands happily while the three waved to Camila leaving. Hunter heard some laughter and looked to the foggy forest, but saw nothing.

"Did you hear that?" He murmured to Flapjack, getting Lucila's attention.

"Hear what?" She asked in confusion to him. Flapjack chirped up at him, shaking his head. Melody chirped along as well.

"Hey, it's okay. It's probably just in my head again. Nestle down, you two." The two palismen turned stiff and their owners hid them away. Usually they didn't let people outside of Will, Cori, and June see them for obvious reasons. Ghost was probably the only one who could pass off as a normal animal. But the others were either too big to be normal or had features that didn't make them look normal.

"Is everything okay?" Lucila wondered to him and he flinched, not wanting to worry her about Belos again. So he'd tell her later tonight, but not right now.

"Just thinking out loud to myself how beautiful you look in your costume," He grinned happily and she blushed, brushing a bang away from her face.

"That's really sweet...but seriously, what are you hiding from me?" She narrowed her eyes a bit.

"I promise I'll talk about it later. Right now I just wanna enjoy myself with you," He leaned down and kissed her cheek, which she smiled a bit at. Hunter turned around so they could catch up with their friends, but something was creeping up his neck without his knowledge... Luz walked up to Amity, who placed her hands on her shoulders happily.

"We're gonna have the best night, and we might even have a surprise for you."

"Yeah, me too," Luz looked away as the others walked off. They explored the booths, Will and Cori talking to them.

"You guys are gonna love it! We come here with Luz and Luci every year," Cori smiled, though at first Luz was actually gonna avoid it this year. "We always pig out on candy, paint scary face paint on each other, take pictures."

"The apple bobbing challenge, the haunted house, the corn maze," Will listed off to them.

"Corn maze? As in where corn monsters attack?" Gus flinched in alarm.

"No, little dude," He chuckled, patting the boy on the head. "As in a giant puzzle. You guys like those, right?"

"Last year, Will got lost and peed himself being alone in it," Cori laughed out loud and he glared at her.

"I did not pee myself. I...took a bathroom break when you decided to scare me as a scarecrow," He defended, holding up a finger.

"That was my costume! We happened to find you and then you ended up screaming when we did," Cori pointed out and Lucila rolled her eyes.

"Are they always like this?" Amity couldn't help but wonder.

"Almost always. Other than those fights, though, they usually get along pretty well," She told them.

"Fighting is normal for them?" Hunter raised a brow at his girlfriend.

"This is coming from the guy who used to pick fights with my sister," Luz scoffed a bit.

"I did not! It was just...we just almost never had any moments of peace when she thought I betrayed her," He argued back with his cheeks flushed a bit in embarrassment. Mainly because bringing that stuff sometimes made them embarrassed since it was a different time in their lives.

"Untrue! Our whole Latissa trip proves otherwise!" Luz grinned in satisfaction.

"You know, I think I liked things better when we were in a secret relationship," Lucila grumbled, earning laughs from everyone as she gave a tiny smile. She was joking; she wouldn't be able to hide it for a whole summer, so she was more-so relieved that she and Hunter told everyone their whole story-outside of Cori not knowing all the complicated drama.

They walked up to an old-looking building as a fake witch trial was going on.

"I hath seen the Mrs. Smith consorting with spirits unpure!" The prosecutor pointed at a woman in a cage. The judge then glared down at her.

"Is this true, Mrs. Smith?"

She turned around, gripping the bars of the cage. "Nay, tis a fool lie! Inquisitor Jones is tarring me a demon's valet so as to take mine fields!" She gestured to herself, Jones bending down to her with a glare.

"Demon lies!"

"Your honor, I do object!" Gus suddenly ran up to the stage. "It is Inquisitor Jones who's in league with the dark forces!"

"Kid, come on, this is my spotlight," Jones looked annoyed down at him.

"Behold!" Gus spun a finger and then pulled away Jones' pants, revealing red horned legs and a tail. Jones ran off freaking out, the woman kissing Gus' cheek. He smiled as the crowd cheered for him.

"How did he know that?" Hunter chuckled a bit.

"He's been remembering what he's been taught. I'm proud," Lucila smirked a bit in amusement. She had taught him a little bit about how courts worked in the human world back when she was still teaching him. She told him that not everyone was as innocent as they seemed.

Jacob suddenly pushed back the crowd. "Why are you clapping?" He demanded them and Lucila froze along with Luz. He tripped over the rope, falling to the ground. He then pointed up at Gus. "These children are demon spawn. And they want your teeth!" He stepped forward and removed Gus' fake headset. "Look! Look at his ears! He's from Mars!"

The sisters both sighed in relief that he didn't think they were witches. "Hey, lay off the costume, man!"

Jacob looked around and then laid eyes on Lucila. "There! She's affiliated with them! I recognize her anywhere," He narrowed his eyes at her. "You let my evidence get away!" He rushed forward to her as she stood there with her arms crossed. She looked smug, and that was because a few seconds later, he got tackled by security. They pinned him down and the lady who worked at the coffee shop sighed, pinching her nose.

"Is this him?" Hunter whispered to Lucila protectively.

"Yeah...I'm surprised he's still trying to prove anything when I don't know what he's talking about," She smiled smugly, raising a brow as he got taken away.

"No! It's true, you were there! I will get myself verified!" He declared and Lucila shook her head at him.

"Yeah, maybe we leave that part out to Vee and Ivy when we get back home," Luz suggested and they all nodded in agreement. The last thing they wanted to do was freak out their friends, and they probably wouldn't see him for a while anyway.

They ran up to the hay rides, Hunter helping up Lucila onto the cart. Masha was there dressed as a witch. As they took their seats, Luz took Amity's hand and Hunter took Lucila's. "First off, I wanna give thanks to Owl Rocks 2.0 for agreeing to play for the hayride," They looked to the five, smiling. "You'll find instruments hidden in the hay. I hope you're all prepared for a truly scary ride," Masha spoke up as Will and Cori sat with Gus and Willow. Her hair blew in the wind while those in Owl Rocks 2.0 pulled out a guitar, piano, ukulele, and a small keyboard. Lucila was on guitar, Hunter on ukulele, Cori on the keyboard, and Gus on the ukulele while Will pulled out a microphone.

"Make us cry! Make us cry!" Gus, Cori, and Willow exclaimed in unison.

"Because there's nothing scarier than...knowledge!"

"Boo! Just lie to me!" Gus cried out to her.

"Truths are boring! Just ask these two!" Cori pointed at Hunter and Lucila.

"Hey!" The two exclaimed in protest.

"Let me tell you the eeriest unsolved mystery of Gravesfield," Masha spoke up as the wagon was going into the forest. "The Tale of the Brothers Wittebane." Luz, Hunter, and Lucila looked at her wide-eyed from the name.

"Wittebane?" Amity whispered to the three. "Isn't that Belos?"

The others glanced at each other before lights turned on. They turned around to see what was going on. "The year is 1613. Two orphaned brothers arrive in Gravesfield," Lights turned on to reveal the Gravesfield town, as well as two cardboard cut-outs of two familiar people. "Their names? Phillip..."

Belos glared while in his mind.

"And Caleb."

Belos flicked Hunter's forelock and he flinched.

"Oh no," Hunter frowned in worry, Luz staring at him and then frowning. The two students that Luz and Lucila met in school were controlling everything.

"Caleb did his best to take care of his younger brother. They tried to fit in with this town, and its unsavory practices. They became...witch hunters." A cardboard mob appeared across from them. "Local lore suggests that the brothers Wittebane met a real witch from another world! Her name was Evelyn."

Lucila flinched at hearing the name, and she suddenly zoned out while Will started to sing. The others were playing a distorted tone to keep up the spirit of Halloween.

Dos oruguitas enamoradas

Caleb and Phillip were pretending to be witches as kids, Phillip laughing along with him. The little brother watched Caleb carve a mask similar to the one he had as Belos, Caleb walking off to get some horns.

Pasan sus noches y madrugadas

Lucila stepped in as soon as Caleb walked off, going around the Covention halls. She checked out the various booths until Hunter bumped into her, knocking her down onto the floor. She glared up at them, both of them freezing as they looked at each other.

Lenas de hambre

Caleb looked into a bush for something before Evelyn popped out. She had the same type of hair as Lucila's, but it was shaped upwards with two bangs hanging from her cheeks. However, her face was obscured as Caleb was immediately fascinated by her. Phillip looked annoyed as Caleb smiled and Evelyn grinned at him. Both of them started talking with each other for a while, Phillip just sitting back with a pout.

Siguen andando

Lucila was walking in town when Hunter, as the Golden Guard, called out to her and she turned around. She looked away in amusement and then she led him away, both of them talking and getting along while the others were dealing with the body swap situation. As Lucila flipped through her book, he stared at her and then smiled behind his mask.

Y navegando un mundo

Evelyn opened up a portal to the demon realm, offering a hand to Caleb, who looked excited as he held Phillip's hand. Caleb took her hand, all three going in.

Que cambia y sigue cambiando

Hunter sat across from Lucila, teaching her how to draw. She looked down about the Bat Queen and tried to focus. He grabbed her wrist gently and comforted her in her own way. He then suggested for her to do the light spell and she hesitated, but he encouraged her. She drew the spell and then held the light orb in her hands.

Dos oruguitas paran el viento

Caleb was at a local restaurant, trying to find something to eat for him and Phillip. However, because it was the Boiling Isles, they didn't have much for human consumption. Evelyn came up from behind and put down some snails, telling the shopkeeper what to get him. As he walked off, Caleb looked at her with a smile.

Mientras se abrazan con sentimento

Hunter opened up Lucila's songbook and he rubbed her chin. She took it and then told him how much it meant, smiling at him. Once he finished her song, she leapt forward and hugged him. He hugged her back, closing his eyes. At one of their later lessons, they started to get to know each other more.

Sigeun creciendo

Caleb and Evelyn sat down and started to eat together, Caleb intrigued by her stories of the Boiling Isles. He said something and she laughed, earning a smile and a blush. Phillip walked past the restaurant and then came back, as he had gone out looking for his brother. He looked inside the window and saw the two getting along, frowning. Then Caleb put his hand on top of Evelyn's and she flinched, smiling as she held his hand, the two looking at each other in a new light.

No saben cuando

Hunter and Lucila danced together at their usual meet-up after telling him about prom. He took off her glasses, earning hesitation. She looked away bashfully and they eventually slow danced the night away.

Caleb stepped forward cautiously as Phillip was in a monstrous form. He had confronted him about Evelyn. He gave his little brother a weak smile, trying to calm him down. He hugged Phillip with a smile, knowing that his brother was still in there somewhere. Eventually Phillip slowly went back to normal, though he kept his eyes narrowed while hugging his brother.

El tiempo sigue cambiando

Lucila and Hunter were sleeping at the lake, snuggling each other. She woke up and saw everything except his face, looking forward. She saw Lilith going towards the Owl House and then she blew up at Hunter. He protested, but she left in tears on Eda's staff. Hunter watched her leave with a frown.

Ay, oruguitas

Caleb led Evelyn somewhere with his hands in front of her eyes. He finally moved them away and she looked down to see a boat. Because the water was steaming, he asked her to put together a spell to keep it from overheating. He then put down Flapjack and patted him on the head. He rowed the boat to the middle of the lake as she looked around, wondering what he was up to. Once he stopped, they waited a few seconds. Suddenly, light came from the lake and she looked down in awe, the light surrounding the boat in a circle. Some demon fish spat up water to make it look like they were fountains. Evelyn smiled as she and Caleb held hands, enjoying the romantic moment. Little fairies came down and surrounded the two, their wings lighting up to give off glow.

Lucila looked down at Hunter in Latissa and Luz slapped him across the face. He noticed Lucila and blushed at her appearance. Then weeks later, she and Hunter took a group photo with the Emerald Entrails before he revealed to them the truth. She sat in a cage heartbroken and he realized what he did was wrong.

Hay que crecer aparte y volver

Phillip went looking around for his brother as he wanted nothing to do with the Boiling Isles at this rate. He couldn't get anything out of it, plus he just didn't trust witches. He moved past a bush and then flinched, looking up ahead...to see Evelyn pregnant and holding hands with Caleb as they walked happily.

Hunter talked with Lucila over the crow, finally mustering up the courage to ask her out. She fell to the ground on her knees in shock, and then eventually said yes.

Vienen milagros

Caleb stood near a tree as he greeted his brother, who had a knife behind his back. He was just about to tell his brother the news about Evelyn, unaware of the impending danger. Phillip narrowed his eyes as Caleb spoke happily about her and then revealed the knife. Caleb flinched and pushed Evelyn to hide behind the tree so she wouldn't get hurt.

Vienen crisalidas

Hunter gave Lucila flowers for her father and she smiled happily at him. He held her hand and she rested her head on his shoulder as they flew away. He smiled and then blushed.

Hay que partir y construir su propio futuro

Phillip and Caleb were surrounded by fire, thanks to a fire glyph that Phillip had discovered and used. Caleb nervously held a small knife, not wanting to hurt his brother, but at the same time...he had gone too far.

Ay, orguitas

Lucila's hands slipped from the sweater as Hunter sank in Belos' mind, and he told her he loved her. Her eyes widen as she lost her grip. She dug at the spot where he disappeared and she cried. Lucila rushed forward after Belos told them of being a witch hunter, screaming at him as Luz held her back.

No se aguanten mas

Caleb had stood down, trying to reason with Phillip. He stepped forward, giving Phillip a pleading look. His little brother calmed down a bit, lowering his hand. Caleb smiled and opened up his arms, stepping forward. But then his eyes widened as Phillip stabbed him in the side. He fell into the fire on his back.

Hay que crecer aparte y volver

Belos attacked Lucila and she fell to the ground, holding a hand in front of her eye as it was bleeding. Once Hunter caught up with her, he noticed her injury and connected the dots. He turned around to Belos in pure anger.

Evelyn turned around, looking in horror to see her lover dead.

Vienen milagros

Hunter stood protectively in front of Lucila while they confronted Belos with the others.

Vienen crisalidas

Evelyn noticed Phillip and the knife in his hand, looking on in horror that he'd do that to his own brother.

Hay que partir y construir su propio futuro

Belos lunged forward at Lucila, but Hunter attacked him in rage for him hurting Lucila.

Dos oruguitas

Evelyn shed tears as she fired a spell at Phillip, who slipped back in pain from the attack.

Desorientadas

Lucila squeezed Hunter protectively, glaring up at Belos.

En dos capullos bien abrigadas

She angrily screamed at him and he dropped the knife. He turned around and ran as she kept attacking him until he was gone. Evelyn shed tears for her lover, falling to her knees as she was now alone...

Lucila screamed and recoiled back, Hunter looking at her in concern. The others just looked confused on why she seemed so terrified right about now. And she had actually missed the story, not that she needed to hear it. "Maybe Phillip saved Caleb and they went on to lead peaceful lives. Or maybe, he's still chasing his brother," Masha turned on a flashlight. "Caught in a cycle of horror and strife!"

Everyone gasped sharply except for Lucila, everyone staying silent. And unfortunately, the real truth was kind of both of those theories... "Sounds like big bro got a hot witch girlfriend and little bro got upset. But that's just me." And with that, the hay ride was thankfully over.

Lucila jumped out first, panting as she clutched her heart over what she just saw. "Hey, hey," Hunter stood in front of her, holding her shoulders. He could tell she was on the verge of another panic attack. "Shh, it's okay, Luci. Calm down," He held up his hand and did the breathing technique Gus told him about. She took a few deep breaths before hugging herself.

"Hunter...I think I just remembered...the events of Caleb's death..." She murmured breathlessly, and he recoiled back in shock. "Evelyn...she looked like me," She squeezed her eyes shut. "I really am her reincarnation..."

"She looked exactly like you?" Hunter wondered in confusion.

"I could see everything but her face. She had my hair, though. I can't believe this..." She pinched her nose in distraught. They had suspected it, but now it was the actual truth.

"It'll be alright," He hugged her comfortingly. "Someone else or not, you're still my goofy Luci." She smiled into the hug, feeling a little better. "We'll take it one day at a time. Just trust me, I-" He heard laughter, the same one from earlier, and looked up at the forest. Behind one of the bushes was a shadow with blue eyes staring right at him. Then it ran off as the female figure that had been after him appeared. But he couldn't get a good look at her. He sweated nervously and Lucila looked up at him.

"Hunter? What is it?" Before she could look back, Hunter grabbed her arm and Luz's.

"Luz!" He dragged both of them away, pulling them all the way to behind the front seat.

"What's going on?" She raised a brow at him.

"Why are you acting all spooked?" Lucila wondered to her boyfriend.

"It's him," He told the two in a panic. "He's here! I-I saw him this time. It wasn't in my head after all. You believe me, right?"

"Wait, you mean Belos?" Lucila guessed correctly. "And you knew it last time?" He bit his lip nervously at her questioning and she crossed her arms. "Why didn't you tell me before?"

"I didn't wanna worry you over seemingly nothing," He rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm sorry."

"Well, how can you be sure? What would he be doing here?" Luz wondered to the blonde, who rubbed his chin.

"...Titan Blood," He murmured in realization, remembering the rebus.

"Oh no..." Lucila whispered as she came to that conclusion as well. The two glanced at each other and nodded. The only way it would make sense would be to tell her.

"We're not supposed to tell. But the secret code that guide mentioned? It's a puzzle, a rebus we found in the shack. Amity thinks it leads to Titan Blood!" He revealed to her.

"Titan Blood? Puzzles? Amity? Why didn't anyone say anything?" She asked them in disbelief. "...You knew about it and you didn't tell me?" Luz gestured to her as she looked at her sister.

"Don't get mad at Luci, we told her why she couldn't say anything," Hunter took off his headset. "You, your mom, and Luci do so much for us. We wanted to do something for you, and Amity's gonna surprise you with it tonight."

"It was only supposed to be for a short while that I wasn't supposed to tell you," Lucila rubbed the back of her neck.

"That is so...sweet..." Luz sweated nervously since she wasn't too keen on what she was going to say to her friends later...they peeked behind the truck to see the others walking past.

"Hey, where are Luz, Hunter, and Lucila?" Amity couldn't help but ask.

"We need to find the Titan blood first. Just to make sure," Luz glanced down at the two. "I don't wanna freak anyone out yet."

"You don't believe me yet, do you? Fine. I'll prove he's here."

"You don't need to prove anything, Luz just doesn't want another false alarm. We just need to check our bases before we make claims we can't sustain," Lucila told him gently.

"Flapjack," Hunter opened up his shirt a little so the bird could fly out. He flew in front of the trio. "Can you get the rebus?" Flapjack didn't look too keen on stealing from Amity, he just had a bad feeling about all this. "I'll say that again," His pupils turned blue as he glared at the palisman. "Get the rebus!" His voice sounded distorted and Flapjack flew off in a panic. Melody came out of hiding from Lucila's hair and glared at Hunter before flying after him. For some reason, Flapjack did not sound happy about Melody flying and the two chirped in argument.

"Hey, what the heck?" Luz demanded Hunter.

"Since when were you such a jerk to Flapjack? You love him, remember?" Lucila asked angrily at his behavior.

"Back off!" He seethed at her still in that voice, shocking the both of them before his eyes turned back to normal.

"Hunter!" Luz protested at him as Lucila bit her lip.

"Ah, I-I'm sorry!" Hunter hugged her gently. "I...I don't know what came over me."

"Right..." Lucila looked away skeptically, pushing him away firmly. He bit his lip nervously at her as she didn't look at him.

Melody flew in front of Amity, waving her wings frantically while chirping. "What is it, Melody? Are you hungry? I don't have any food for you, but we can find you some." The hummingbird palisman pecked at her crown and Amity tried to get her to stop. "Melody! Hey!"

While she was distracted, Flapjack snatched the rebus and Melody flew off. "Weird; why'd she react like that?" Will asked Amity, who just shrugged.

"I don't know, honestly."

They came back to their owners. "Good work," Hunter held out his hand and opened his shirt so that Flapjack could dash right in. Melody hid in Lucila's hair. While their friends' backs were turned, the three ran off into the forest.

Vee and Ivy were asleep with bowls of candy nearby, the TV still on. Camila smiled as she turned it off, picking up Luz's laptop. She walked forward and slipped on a baseball bat, barely managing to catch the laptop. She sighed in relief, but then the laptop turned on.

"So, we moved," She looked at the screen to see that it was one of Luz's video diaries. "Mom says it's because the house isn't 'pretty enough', but I think it's because there's a better hospital for Dad nearby." Camila sat down and started watching. "Cause...let's be honest, this house ain't that much prettier." She turned around to Lucila moving in Luz's last box inside. "Ain't that right, big sis?"

"Come on," Her sister rolled her eyes. "Don't judge things before you get used to them."

Camila snorted a bit as ironically, Lucila didn't take that advice to heart when she met Hunter for the first time.

The next one was after they had settled in, but Luz didn't look so great. "I think this might be the worst week ever," Camila's eyes saddened as she remembered what day this was recorded...the week that her husband died. She caressed the screen as she missed him.

"But...Dad left me this book. He said he gave it to Luci at my age, and now that she's growing up to help take care of me, she passed them down to me. I could tell she was a little sad to let go of it, but...it was what Dad would've wanted. I can't wait to read it," She smiled weakly at the computer screen.

"I loved it, I loved it so much!" She squealed the next time she checked in. She jumped up and down happily while hugging the book. Lucila walked in and she ran up to her sister, hugging her. "Thank you~!"

"Aw, no problem, hermana," The girl chuckled while hugging her back.

The next entry, she had already decorated her room with Azura stuff, and she was holding a sword. Her hair had gotten longer at this point. "Look what I got at the convention! I'm gonna cut my hair with it!" However, her hair was now a mess. "Ah, that was a bad idea! LUCI! I need your heeeeelp!"

Camila smiled fondly, remembering the day Lucila chewed out Luz the entire time while helping cut her hair. And then afterwards, she took away the sword and hid it somewhere in the basement. To this day, Luz still hadn't found it.

"Mom saw my report card," Camila's smile dropped as the entry was a few days before the girls left for the Boiling isles. "Mija, if you just applied yourself. But I am applying myself!" She walked up to her computer. She held up the fake griffin statue. "My baseball stitches are so small, they're practically invisible. "And I can read and write witch tongue in five different dialects. Also, I can sit so perfectly still that woodland creatures come and sit on me," She ran off to get her chair, pushing it over in front of her closet. Once she sat still, a spider crawled into her hair. "But I guess none of this is gonna matter on the SATs. Luci would probably ace them. Maybe I should get her to take them for me." Camila chuckled a bit and Luz walked back up to the computer. "It's been really rough for Mom and my hermana since the funeral. So I'm gonna wow my teacher's face off with this book report! Mom, Luci, you guys won't have to worry about me ever again."

She was about to close the laptop...when she got to the most recent entry. "Mama says I have to learn from my mistakes," She opened up the laptop again. "So...I know what I have to do now. On Halloween, after the hayride, I'm telling everyone I'm staying in the human realm," She looked away with tears in her eyes. "Permanently." Camila narrowed her eyes in determination to go stop her, so that she didn't hurt anyone else unintentionally.

Luz, Lucila, and Hunter stepped in a puddle while running. The boy held the map, looking up and then dropping the rebus. He clutched his hand, removing the tape from his finger and revealing the same green goop he saw earlier. "What the..." Lucila walked past him and picked up the map, taking a step forward to get a sense of where they were.

"Maybe you should explain yourself to my sister," Luz gave him a pointed look. "I don't want my favorite ship to crash again just because of something you did," She warned him and because the fog was messing up her glasses, Lucila tripped and fell.

"Ow."

"Luci..." He went over and offered a hand, but she stood up and dusted herself off. He bit his lip as he winced from her reaction. "I'm sorry again about earlier. It was like...for a moment, I wasn't myself," He rubbed the top of his head.

"I don't know what that was about, but I don't...I don't like it," She said quietly to him. "I already found out that I'm basically a modern Evelyn. I don't need my boyfriend snapping at me out of nowhere." His ears dropped as he felt awful, as he could sense that from her perspective, he was lashing out at her for some reason. "We'll talk about this later. For now, just...cool off near Luz."

She walked off and he looked down to see that she had dropped a long black box. He raised a brow and picked it up. Before he could comment on it, his pupils turned blue again and he looked up to see the same ominous shadow. "There!" He ran past the girl, taking the map along the way. Melody chirped in alarm as she came out of hiding and flew after him.

"Melody, hey! Wait up!" Lucila protested at her.

"Hunter!" The two shouted at him as he disappeared into the fog. They chased after him, but after a few feet, they couldn't see any sign of him. "Hunter!"

"Ugh, think, think!" Luz held her head while Lucila rescoped the area for some signs of where he went. "Hunter is following the rebus to the Titan's blood. But how can we find the blood without him? Come on, you can do this." She then gasped as she recalled the glyph scoring in her mom's vet clinic, as well as a glyph completely going to shreds the last time they visited. She took out a light glyph from her bag and tapped it. It then formed into a tiny light.

"What?" Lucila murmured in shock.

"Glyphs are powered by the magic of the isles, by the Titan itself! The closer we are to the Titan Blood, the stronger the glyphs become."

"How did you know about that?" Her sister raised a confused brow.

"I accidentally touched a glyph when I was at Mom's clinic, and it gave off a scorch mark. I didn't think anything of it until now," She told the girl.

"Huh...good work," Lucila smiled, patting her sister on the head.

"Aw, stop, you're making me blush," Luz waved it off, activating another glyph. The two walked off further into the forest, using the light glyphs to guide their way.

"Luz? Hunter? Luci?" Willow asked as the five regrouped at the hayride.

"Did you find them?" Amity asked in concern, clutching her arm.

Cori shook her head no. "Sorry, Amity. There's no sign of them anywhere," Will told her regrettably.

"Calm down," Gus tried to ease them. "They probably just went to buy some more cars."

"What?" Will murmured in confusion to Cori, who just shrugged.

"Maybe it's a them thing, I dunno."

"Yeah. Yeah, you're right. I just—I wanted to show Luz the rebus," Amity looked into her pocket, but was confused to see it gone. "Huh? Wait, where did it go?" They heard a noise, gasping and turning around to see Camila, Vee, and Ivy arrive.

"Kids, have you seen Luz or Luci? And have they, um, said anything weird?" Camila asked cautiously.

"Boom!" Vee and Ivy produced their cell phones. "Find a phone." Vee tracked down Luz's while Ivy tracked down Lucila's.

The two came across a lake with gravestones in the water, and the sign indicated that they couldn't step in it. "You think he's here?" Luz asked her sister.

"This is where the path leads to. There's nowhere else he could've gone, and he wouldn't have gone back into town," Lucila jerked a thumb behind her. They took out one ice glyph each and pressed them together. They bent down and touched the ground to form and ice bridge. They ran across it past the fog, seeing a shadow stand alone.

"Hunter...are you okay? Did you see Belos?" She glanced down and gasped. Lucila looked down and saw that her bracelet she made for Hunter was smashed, along with the rebus ripped in half. Hunter stood a few feet away from the objects, his shirt now around his waist.

"Oh, no. Just my imagination playing tricks again," He waved it off and Lucila narrowed her eyes. "Why don't you two find the Titan Blood while I find my palisman? Little guy got spooked off..."

Now that raised several red flags for Lucila. One, he would never called Flapjack 'his palisman', he would just say Flapjack's name. Two, he didn't mention Melody at all even though she went after him. And three, he would never have ripped the rebus or broken her present, which she didn't even know he had in the first place.

"Good idea. All this Belos talk has me on edge," Luz walked off, not suspecting a thing. "But I hate to ruin Amity's surprise. I really appreciate that everyone wanted to do this."

"Luz..." Lucila called out nervously, but the younger sister didn't listen.

"You guys are great friends," Luz stated, Hunter looking at his green finger while some of it was now overtaking his neck and some parts of his head. Her sister touched her shoulder to get her attention.

"Sis, be careful around him. I don't know what it is, but he seems...off," Lucila glanced at him briefly. "I mean, would the Hunter we know really do that to the rebus or that bracelet I made for him?"

"Aw, you made him that? Ooh, but good point," Luz winced at her. "Even though you two were having a rough patch...he'd never do that."

"Have you found the blood yet?" 'Hunter' called out to them, interrupting their conversation.

"We're on it. We just have to..." They heard chirping, turning around to see Flapjack and Melody hiding behind a gravestone. And both of them were shaking in fear. "Flapjack? Why do you look so scared?"

Flapjack snuggled Melody protectively. She turned around, confusing the girls until they saw her shaking and flapping her wings. "Oh my gosh…" Lucila murmured in realization.

"Luz...Evelyn..." Hunter walked up to them in the shadows, his eyes blue as his voice sounded familiar... "Didn't you use an ice glyph to get here?" Horns came from the top of his head. "Your magic is working."

"...Oh no," Lucila whispered in horror as they both realized what had happened...

Belos.

"Luz? I think she's this way."

"Hunter?"

"Luz!"

"Luci?"

"Mijas?"

"We have to get Flapjack and Melody out of here," Luz told her sister, who was about to scoop up Melody when a hand grabbed her shoulder and turned her around. They were face to face with Belos.

"I saw you. Glyphs do work here."

"You. You survived!" Luz said in terror, Lucila ripping off his hand away from her and backing away. Hunter's body now had green marks on his face, he had blue eyes, and his hair had grown out a bit more.

"I did. Thanks again for all the help, girls. But I don't need you anymore," He lunged an arm made out of goop and Lucila grabbed her sister, tackling her to the ground as Luz's hat got impaled. Her wig fell off as Flapjack landed nearby.

"Flapjack!"

"Melody can't stay here. One of us..." Lucila squeezed her eyes shut, tears streaming down her face as she looked at Belos in Hunter's body. "One of us is gonna have to fight him off while the other gets her to safety."

"But...Luci..." Luz murmured in concern as she knew that her sister didn't want to fight her boyfriend.

"Don't argue! We both know that deep down, Hunter is still somewhere in his mind."

"Ah..." Belos held up the vial of Titan Blood. "There you are."

"Luz, go!" Lucila urged her, but Luz slammed down an ice glyph to knock the vial out of Belos' hand. Her sister turned to her in shock as she watched Belos being attacked. However, none of the glyphs really touched Belos.

"You're not even trying right now," He noticed her sweating a lot. "What, afraid you'll hurt him? Pitiful," He glanced at Lucila. "Isn't this what you asked for?"

"Give him back!" She demanded while squeezing a fist, sitting in front of the tombstone where Melody was hiding. Melody was shaking as an egg was next to her, and she looked exhausted. Meanwhile, the others had finally found them.

"Is that Hunter?" Camila asked while the others were in shock at his appearance.

"Something's wrong," Gus narrowed his eyes. Belos saw them and stared.

"Guys, Hunter's been possessed by Belos!" Lucila gritted her teeth as she glanced at them, everyone's mouths opening in shock. "Get out of here now!"

"And leave you behind? No way!" Will shouted at her.

Belos then smirked at the girls. "You see, this is why you're so useful, Luz. And why Evelyn is so dimwitted. You're so desperate to help people...you even helped me meet The Collector."

"What?" Amity murmured in disbelief.

"Evelyn?" Camila whispered in confusion.

"I didn't mean to. I thought I was doing something good!" Luz defended herself.

"That was a mistake," Lucila gripped the grass underneath her.

"You did do something good. And it was no mistake. I thought this one was another lost cause," He looked at his green arms with an evil grin. "Because of you, we can finish our work as witch-hunters, starting with them!" He launched an arm forward to the group, and before anyone could do anything, a woman with pink hair with red tips at the end came swooping in and swung her staff to block it. She had a golden earring at her left pointed ear, purple sleeves going to her black fingerless gloves. She had a purple and yellow collar on her neck. She had on a purple blouse with a yellow belt, the shirt going past her hips. She had on black pants and purple boots with yellow at the edges. She also had brown eyes and looked like a witch. "What?!" Belos exclaimed, everyone else shocked at her sudden appearance. She kneeled in front of the group, looking up with a knowing smile.

"Well, well, well...if it isn't my old friend," She spoke while standing up. "Had fun thinking I was petrified?"

Lucila's eyes opened wide as she gasped, both her and Luz realizing who she was. "Violetta...!" They murmured in unison.

"You were supposed to be punished for being wild and pure chaos," Belos sneered at her. "No matter. Time to finish what I started!" He lunged an arm at her and she spun a spell circle.

"No, don't hurt him! He's possessed my boyfriend!" Lucila cried out and the woman faltered. She then gritted her teeth, glancing behind her as she ducked from the arm.

"I could use some help."

Amity nodded and spun her staff into her hands. Willow and Gus took out their own staffs and they flew off. Gus, Violetta, and Amity attacked, with Belos dodging all of them.

"Hey, Belos?" Gus flew around him smugly. "Remember me?"

He flung an arm forward, grabbing Willow and knocking her down. "Hang tight, Hunter!" Vee and Ivy jumped in front of her, taking a deep breath. They started siphoning his magic, dragging him forward. He growled and was about to attack them.

"Vee, Ivy, watch out!" Amity pulled the two away as Belos broke the ice bridge. Amity, Willow, and Gus flew forward as illusions. However, Belos broke them and knocked Gus into the others. Violetta was about to make another ice bridge when he flew his arm again and knocked her staff away, knocking the woman down in the process.

"No!" Lucila cried out, Flapjack turning into staff form. Luz used it to teleport to Lucila, both of them teleporting to Belos to hug him.

"I know you can hear us, Hunter. Fight him off!"

"You can do it, carino. Please listen to our voices," Lucila pleaded with him, tears in her eyes. Belos grabbed the both of them and threw them off towards the water. Amity spun a giant spell circle, using vines from the lake and the ice pieces to catch them. Flapjack pecked at Belos' horns, and he looked annoyed. He then grabbed the palisman, the others looking up horrified.

"That's right. You wouldn't want me harming your precious palisman, would you? Oh, but then again, I don't care what you want," He sneered at them, but looked at Lucila specifically. "Goodbye, Evelyn. Now you've killed two people." He used his hand to shoot a spike through Flapjack! Everyone gasped sharply as his essence was given to Belos. Melody squeezed her eyes shut as she snuggled her three newborn eggs. Tears ran down her face as she guessed what happened to her mate just now. But for some reason, Belos let go of him and he flew over to the sisters.

"Flapjack!" Luz held him in her hands, both of them shedding tears. He had green goo spouting from his injury and his wings. "Flapjack...you'll be okay," He looked up at them while taking a few breaths.

Lucila growled angrily as she stood up, clenching her fists. But then she paused as she saw Belos falling to the ground, groaning. He blinked and then Hunter regained control, panting. "You know what I'd like, Belos?" He sneered while standing up, clutching his arm. "I'd like to leave the Emperor's Coven and never step foot in that throne room again. I'd like to study wild magic and learn how to carve palismen," He stepped towards the lake, the others running onto the bridge and staring at him. "I'd like to attend Hexide as a regular student and play Flyer Derby with my friends! I'd like to have someone love me for me, and I had that until you interfered with it! I'd like to be happy with the girl that I love without your permission without having to hurt her for your sake! And most of all...I'd like to make sure you never hurt anyone again!" Tears formed in his eyes and he tossed the vial of Titan Blood into the lake.

"No!" Belos cried out and dove after it. As soon as he grabbed it, Hunter's eyes closed as he sank. "Oh, no, no!"

"Hunter!" Lucila cried out in worry.

"Move!" Camila pushed past everyone and jumped into the water. They watched the bubbles in the water until they disappeared. She emerged a few seconds later gasping while holding onto him. She dragged him over to the others.

"Be careful with him," Lucila said tearfully as they pulled him onto Lucila's lap. Suddenly Belos' essence flew away from Hunter's body as he let out a distorted scream. They looked up in horror as he emerged in front of them, holding the Titan's blood.

"Caleb, you would stab me in the back?" He asked in disbelief.

"You did it to him first," Luz sneered up at him.

"No...this is your fault!" He pointed right at Lucila, who hugged Hunter protectively. "If you hadn't gotten in the way..."

"Always blaming other people instead of yourself," Violetta glared at him while standing in front of the group. Instead of responding, he slammed the blood against the symbol on top of the arch. It dripped into the ground and then formed around the arch to give off a flashing light. They all braced themselves before realizing that he had made a portal to the demon realm.

"This is for the good of your souls! You'll thank me later," And with that, Belos left through the portal. They stared at him as he disappeared, though Violetta couldn't help but wonder why he went back. He made all of his efforts to return after all.

"...That's the Belos you've been fighting this whole time?!" Camila screeched in shock.

"Guys," Lucila spoke up in concern. "Hunter isn't moving."

"Vee, call an ambulance," Camila instructed her, Will guiding his girlfriend away as she looked concerned for Lucila, who shed a tear.

"Do human doctors know about possession?" Willow asked in worry for her friend.

"Or Grimwalkers?" Luz questioned and Lucila gasped sharply for her saying it out loud.

"Possession?" Camila turned to her daughter in shock.

"Grimwalkers?" The others asked in confusion.

"It's a long story..." Lucila sniffled as her tears fell onto Hunter's face.

"We should call a doctor," As Camila was speaking, Flapjack flew out of Luz's bag.

"I'm not getting cell reception," Vee revealed gravely.

"What do we do?" Amity asked in a panic and Lucila looked up at Violetta.

"Can Melody...?" She didn't even want to finish her sentence. The woman closed her eyes and shook her head gravely.

"No...her powers don't go that far. I'm...sorry."

Lucila cried over Hunter as she hugged his head. "Hunter..."

Flapjack landed on the boy's chest, nuzzling his cheek. Everyone watched in silence as Flapjack laid down and gave Hunter his essence. A glowing light surrounding the palisman as everyone looked on in tears. Flapjack disintegrated into lights and they looked up as they flew away. Hunter gained another scar over his cheek and slowly opened his eyes. "Hey guys," He smiled weakly at them. "Is everyone else okay?"

Gus and Luz glanced at each other. Will and Cori looked saddened for him. "Actually...Flapjack-"

"Don't," Hunter interrupted while looking away. "Don't..." Tears fell from his eyes, clutching at his chest. "I already know."

Luz looked away, wiping away a tear. She stood up as Lucila stoked his hair. "Sit up slowly, baby," Camila said gently. "Are you in pain anywhere?"

"I'm okay," He said as Lucila helped him sit up. Hunter heard a chirp, looking down and gasping in shock. Melody had walked over to show him her eggs. He held two in his hands.

"Melody…she was…?" He looked up at the others, most of them surprised since only Luz and Lucila knew about it up until this point.

Lucila nodded slowly at him. "Yeah...she gave birth while..." She bit her lip, not wanting to mention it.

"I…I killed their father…" Hunter covered his face with his hands, tears falling onto his hands.

"It wasn't you. It was that prick who can't take a hint," Cori narrowed her eyes in anger. Melody looked up and then looked on happily to see Violetta. The woman bent down and nuzzled the top of her head fondly.

"You'll be a great mother," She murmured softly to the palisman. Lucila looked on and felt a bit awkward, but was still glad to see them talking.

"Melody, I'm so sorry…I understand if you won't forgive me." Melody looked away sadly at the reminder, hopping up to his lap. He stared at her, wondering what her reaction would be. She chirped and held out her last egg to him, surprising everyone. "What...? You...wanna give one of them to me? Are you sure that's what you want?" Hunter asked her cautiously.

She chirped again and nodded firmly. Tears formed into his eyes, but happy ones this time as he picked her up into his hands and nuzzled her. She nuzzled his cheek back, as she didn't blame him for Flapjack. "Thank you. I promise I'll take good care of them. And we'll give Flapjack a proper funeral too." He put the egg carefully into his pocket. Luz walked away, her eyes crestfallen.

"Um, Luz," Amity spoke up carefully. "What did Belos mean when he said you and Luci helped him meet the Collector? I mean, that was a lie, right?"

"And...Belos calling you Evelyn...that's not true either, is it?" Will asked Lucila, who winced.

"No, I-it was true," Luz stated, her sister frowning sadly. She walked towards the portal. "If it weren't for us, the Day of Unity would have never happened. There was this time pool, and Luci and I met him. We met him when he was still just Philip, and I taught him the light spell. Luci suspected something was off, but I didn't listen! We introduced him to The Collector! We set everything into motion. We're sorry, everyone."

"As for me being Evelyn...yes, it's true. But it's complicated, and...I'd rather not tell the whole story right now," Lucila glanced at Hunter, as technically, they didn't know that Hunter was a clone of Caleb.

"Why did you...keep all that a secret?" Amity asked her slowly as they watched her step closer to the portal.

"I was scared. I thought you'd all hate us for it. Which is...why I've made a decision." Lucila looked up at her in confusion, wondering what she was going to say. "I think...it'd be in everyone's best interest if I-"

"Took your mama to the demon realm!" Camila finished for her.

"What?!" Both her daughters exclaimed in shock.

"I couldn't hate you, Luz," Amity gave her a hug, smiling. "The fact that you still stand up for us means enough to me."

"Mijas, now that I've seen what you're up against, there is no way I'm letting you two go back alone. It is our duty to help your friends get back to their families," Camila smiled in determination while clenching a fist.

"But-"

"Luz, we understand why you did what you did," Gus spoke up with a smile.

"Yeah...it must've been a lot to keep all of that in," Willow nodded in agreement. "But because of you and Luci, we've all changed for the better. We couldn't ask for a better friend."

"Thanks, guys," Lucila smiled weakly at them.

"...How can you forgive us so easily?" Luz frowned while looking away.

"You were tricked. That's what Belos does, he tricks people," Hunter defended the both of them. "But if it weren't you both, it would have been someone else, and then there'd be no one left to fight back. So let's do that. Let's fight back. Please? For Flapjack?"

"...For Flapjack," Luz agreed solemnly, seeing a flash from the corner of her eye. They looked to see that the portal was fading.

"The portal's closing," Vee said while staring at them.

"I can keep it open for just a little longer, but it won't last," Violetta spoke up, glancing at Lucila. "Then we'll finally get to have a talk...Evelyn," She winked at the girl, realizing that the woman didn't come for Melody...she came for her.

"I'm sorry, but...how exactly did you know where to find us? And why did you come here? We thought you were on the run," Gus asked Violetta cautiously, who smiled a bit. Luz and Lucila had also informed them of her as well.

"I was. But I'll answer all of your questions when I'm not helping sustain a portal. Who's first?"

"We better head in," Luz stated and Lucila turned to her friends as they stepped up. She gave both of them a hug and they all smiled.

"Kick that guy's butt for us," Will winked at her. "Be careful, Luci."

"But also make him suffer for killing an innocent animal who will never meet his children," Cori added in with a big grin.

"Deal," She giggled at her friends and Hunter held Lucila's hand. They both stepped forward and he took a deep breath.

"Time to go home, Flap. And I'm sorry I ruined your present for me, Luci."

"It's okay," She gave him a gentle hug. "You being alive is all I could ask for." Melody sat on top of Lucila's hair, her eggs in Lucila's pockets.

He smiled and hugged her back before they both entered. Gus and Willow followed next. "Goodbye, human realm! Thank you for showing me your secrets. I hope to see you again," He dove in and Willow waved.

"Thanks for the memories! We'll be back after we get some revenge."

Amity stepped up next to her girlfriend. "Luz, I know things are scary, and I don't know what the future holds. But it would be so cool if you were a part of that," She smiled softly at the girl. Luz turned to her. "No more hiding, okay?"

"I understand," She smiled softly. "See you on the other side. Promise."

They held hands, Amity kissing her cheek before entering.

"Here," Vee handed Camila the baseball bat. "You'll probably need this."

"Are you coming, all of you?" Camila wondered to Vee, Ivy, Will, and Cori.

"I don't think I'm ready," Vee rubbed at her hand. "Besides," She then changed into Camila while Ivy changed into Lucila. "Someone has to keep up appearances."

"And make sure both of them are still going to school," Ivy then changed into Luz.

"And do all of their homework," Will added in, holding up a hand next to his mouth. "Because between you and me, we need them to graduate if they keep missing school the rate they're going."

"Homework?" Cori whined at him and he gave her a glare.

"Can't keep this thing going for too much longer!" Violetta called out as the portal was flickering again.

"Fiiine, but only because it's them. But give us all the deets when you guys get back!"

"Tell the staff I've gone home to see my abuela, okay? Carmen's in charge, Dianne has my schedule. And..." She gave the four a hug. "Thank you, girls. And the both of you, as well. I'll tell Luci how great friends you are to her." She walked up to her daughter, Will and Cori waving with smiles. "Are you ready?"

"Are you? I'm not sure what we'll see on the other side."

Camila looked away briefly and then smiled. "Then we don't wanna leave unprepared," She pointed to Luz's fallen hat. She picked it up and put it on. "A good witch always has to have her hat." She and Luz held hands before entering. Violetta gave a peace sign to the four before entering herself, the portal disappearing completely.

"Come on, let's take you guys home. My sister's been waiting forever back at the festival," Cori stated as they walked away. Then Vee realized something.

"Shoot! Camila still has the car keys!"

"Hmm..." Cori grinned widely at them. "Luci's car is still at their house. And I know how to hotwire a car~!"

"Oh no, don't," Will groaned knowingly.

"Carpool, carpool, carpool!" The girls cheered, Will looking away blankly as he wondered where he went wrong in life...

Angel: So the main reason, outside of school, for why I took longer for this part is because of the montage with Lucila, Hunter, Caleb, and Evelyn. I'm so butt hurt that they never showed a flashback, and technically we got the backstory...but not in the way that I wanted! So I had to make my own partly from scratch and from all the information we have so far. So don't quote me on how exactly Evelyn and Caleb actually met, because I have no idea at this point in time. But finally, it's finished, and if they manage to end up showing the backstory in one of the next two specials, I'd probably have to switch some stuff around. And partly, I also struggled with whether or not I wanted to keep Flapjack alive. Btw, I'm sorry I killed him, please don't come after me y'all. But whoever suggested that he and Melody have babies, thanks for the suggestion, I honestly should've done it to begin with, but I thought it was better to have it be a big reveal instead. Don't think it'd compensate for killing Flapjack, though.

And someone asked me if one of the crew members of the show based Luci's name from Lucila? It's honestly most likely a coincidence, but if it's true, then I'm all for that lol XD Also I wanna know what your favorite Huntcila moment was from both parts, my favorite one was honestly the moment where they said they would move to each other's realms just to stay together. Heard the next special comes out in January, so I will return next year with that one.
