Killua, Daniel and Alluka say their farewells.
A\N: I learnt a new term recently… and it perfectly describes the version of Killua I made… a Bossy Bottom. Daniel's definitely, going to bring it up… as long as I don't forget lolz.
It had been a few days since that call; the group of teens were already preparing themselves to leave, to travel and go see Sarah and Rosalia. Killua had managed to split his sister's clothing, neither bag looked or felt overfilled with dresses, in his opinion.
As much as he'd love it for his sister to be there to assist him in packing her bags, unfortunately, Alluka needed to have a final discussion with Ashton and Leo. It was probably about the dress Ashton promised to make Alluka one day, and other details to assist in her self-discovery, about her identity… who she was to her core.
If that meant one-day Alluka turns around and asks him to be called his brother, he'd accept it. It was who Alluka was… he loves his sibling, and no matter what pronoun was chosen in the end… nothing… could change his opinion of Alluka.
Daniel eventually came into the room, both of their bags packed, "Okay, I've gotten everything. How are you going with Alluka's stuff?"
"She is…" Killua zipped up the bag, "officially packed. Now we just, need to deal with the goodbyes and traversing to meet Rosalia and Sarah."
"Sounds easy enough… So, what do you think they're talking about?"
"I assume it's about the dress and information to help her with her discovery of her identity."
Daniel gave a nod, his attention shifting over his partner's frame. He wasn't checking out his boyfriend, but… for some reason, Killua in a loose tank top and shorts, was strangely a huge turn-on.
He didn't know why "You're looking good for some reason…"
"Huh, I always look good!"
"No…" Daniel kneeled closer to his boyfriend, looking him in the eyes, "I mean… you look very attractive right now."
"Weirdo…" Killua awkwardly smiled, wondering where the hell that comment came out of. Maybe it had to do with their weird discussion… how they found out Daniel was attracted to him, and nobody else. He wasn't dressing any different, technically, he was showing more skin than usual, but that wouldn't have normally triggered that kind of comment.
"It is weird…" Daniel moved closer, "Very weird indeed…"
"Alright, out with it…" Killua looked his partner in the eyes, mentally trying to probe his partner for details. Clearly, there was something on Daniel's mind about what he was wearing. Although, he highly doubts it's about wanting to undress him with his mind.
Daniel wasn't that much of a pervert…
"Dunno… I'm finding you very attractive."
"Do you… want a kiss or something?"
"Always… but I think it's a little more than that right now."
Killua shrugged, "Can't help you there, then." Killua returned to the bags, finding the conversation unusual. Whatever was going on in his boyfriend's mind, it wasn't something he understood right now.

Ashton finally managed to pin what Alluka wanted. It took quite a bit of coaxing and discussion, but at least she had a general idea of what the young girl wanted. The colours were entirely up to her, which she appreciated… it gave her more freedom to work with.
What idea Alluka wanted, was, of course, the La Chapolera style pattern for her dress, but for the top, she wanted more comfort, over exaggeration… "So, you wanted the focus on your dress, to be the skirt, not it overall?"
"Exactly…"
"Then, how about a two-piece top? So, like the shrine maiden dress I once saw you wearing, it'll have long sleeves. However, not, open long sleeves like that… they'll just cover your arms and it can be closed, like your shirt underneath the vest. As for the thing going over it… I was thinking of… a short skirt dress, something that's easy to put on, and gives it a little bit of a flair… so to speak. Nothing exaggerated. Plus, I'll make sure the short skirt dress, is something you can mix and match with other types of clothing. Like a nice, plain white skirt, for example… How would you feel about that?"
"That sounds good… technically three articles of clothing, for the price of one."
"Good, so I won't charge your brother for this… think of it as a little parting gift. If it's something you can no longer wear… or want to wear, send it back my way, so I can put it in the hall of appreciation, or it could be something I can use for another model who comes along."
"I will!"
"Oh, and one more thing…" Ashton rummaged through her desk, finding her spare notepad. She tore a page off the journal, "I was going through my long list of contacts to find someone who'd work with your situation… as in, constant travelling. His name is Reece Thorowright."
As she hands over the note to Alluka, the woman continues "He's a psychologist with a background in Gender Therapy… Although, you're free to talk to him about anything. Whether it's something troubling you, or an internal issue you're feeling, he'll be approachable. I get lots of positive feedback from his clients, so I think he'll be the best fit for you."
"Thank you so much…" Alluka hugged Ashton, the woman silently comforting the girl by stroking her hair.
At the end of the day, she wants the best for Alluka. She hoped that the girl, or whoever she ultimately chooses to be in the end, will be happy being who they are. Alluka understands that part of her life, will be the first step to finding not only herself, but bits and pieces she'll be able to place along her path, simply called life.
There was one more topic to put up for discussion, something Alluka needed to hear, more than answer "Hey, Alluka dear… I want you to know, no matter how difficult your life was in the past… even now, I want you to know it gets-"
There was a loud click, the woman's eyes slowly turning in the direction of the noise, "You…"
"~"
A loud bang resonated in the endless hallways, Killua's head perking up, "That sounded like…" The young boy's eyes widened, a terrified expression crossing his features. It was undeniable.
That was the sound of a gun being fired. The problem was, nobody he knows in this build, besides the security guys had guns on them "Alluka!"
Daniel grabbed Killua's hand before he moved, "Let go! Alluka may be in-"
"She's with Ashton, she'll be fine… I promise you. The bigger problem is the guy behind the door."
A figure stepped out from behind the doorway, a gun now pointed in the kid's direction "How did you know…?"
Killua's gaze switched to his partner. What was going on? How come Daniel could sense him… but he couldn't? Unless… Checking the situation, Killua didn't sense an ounce of aura on the hired gunman.
Did his training make him lack the foresight to check for any kind of danger around him? It'll make no sense, given that both he and Daniel had similar training…
The other excuse is Daniel was far better at En than he was, which would make sense, given that the boy's aura made it impossible for him to hide, using Zetsu. Maybe the reason he can't hide is because of an unconscious limitation placed on himself… which in turn, makes it impossible for others, to hide from him.
Sure, there might be outliers along the way… but if he keeps training En, it could be more beneficial, than being able to use Zetsu. Still, Killua needed to question his partner, "How did you know?"
"En…"
The man's hidden face failed to show any kind of reaction. If anything, the confused tone in his voice, gave away his response "En…?" He had no idea who they were, which made Killua's job far easier "Whatever… boss lady wants everyone but the young girl dead."
"Which girl…?"
"Jacqueline…"
Killua felt a surge of aura eclipse him, the thug none the wiser of the situation about to befall him "Good…"
Pressing his finger against the trigger, the man frowned "No hard feelings, bo-"
Killua's body surged forward, claws digging into the masked man's skull. With a flick of his wrist, the head snapped to the side, the body falling into a crumpled heap on the floor, not a drop of blood being spilled from Killua's action "We need to find the others… En up! Tell me when we run into an enemy…"
The two slipped around a corner, moving towards finding the others.
If there's one person with a gun, there's bound to be more hiding in the hallways.
"~"
Ashton stood still, Alluka being forced to hide behind her back "Margret, put the gun down you maniac."
"Not until you tell me where my daughter is…"
"The only girl here is Alluka."
"No, I overheard your conversation… that's a young boy you're trying to confuse. But it's too late… You're both monsters involved in this larger conspiracy to confuse my baby girl."
"The only conspiracy is your lack of intelligence. You kick him out…"
"I see that now… I made a mistake. I handed my daughter over to the devil. But even demons can be slain…" Shifting the gun, the hammer clicked, "Tell me where my daughter is…"
"Like I said…"
The second shot sailed past the woman's ear "I won't warn you again."
"You don't know who you're messing with…"
"A temptress, bitch…"
Ashton scoffed at the insult, not amused in the slightest "The one time you correctly identify me, you just have to throw in the insult… lame…" Not that the insult or lack of correct pronoun usage matters, nor does the gun scare her in the slightest. The problem is, it mainly makes her worried about Alluka.
Alluka showed no signs of being able to use Nen, which means it's up to her to protect the young girl and herself, at least until the boys show up.
The other problem is how did they get in with her guards…? She was pretty sure most of them were proficient in Nen usage.
She couldn't double-check to see if anyone knew, or if the gun going off signified, she was in danger "How did you get past the guards?"
"I hired a hitman… an assassin if you will." Margret moved out of the way, heavy steps closing in on their direction.
Ashton took a step back, the older woman raising her gun once more "Uh, uh… no moving." A large broadish hand revealed itself from the other side of the wall, clasping around the edge of the corner.
Cracks formed when they grasped the marble wall.
Shit… A Nen user…
The large, tall, bulky man turned the corner, eyes focused on the two his client was pointing a gun at. His eyes gleamed once they fell on Ashton, "Your tiny pea shoot will do nothing to that woman."
"Then you kill them. Kill the man and boy, I want my daughter found!"
"Man… Boy…?" The man looked confused for a moment, eyes switching from the two older women, "HUH?"
"They're a bunch of cross-dressers… nothing more."
"Looks like a bunch of girls to me," The man argued, lips tightened into a thin line.
"I paid you to kill people, not question me! Get to it…"
"Fine, but don't you dare fucken order me around." The man leaned in close, "Or I'll kill you next, paid or not." Turning back, he moved towards Ashton once more, "Let's play little lady!"
"Alluka, get back!"
The gun fired in the direction of the two, "Don't move."
"Fuck off old lady! I like a challenge." He swung his massive hand at Ashton, the woman hitting his wrist, effectively blocking his grapple, with a quick slam into the man's stomach, he slid back, unharmed by the attack, "Nice!"
"Shit… Run!"
Alluka ran, heading for the nearest corner, when the gun fired again, it missed the young girl, hitting the corner "You let them get away."
"I'll catch up to them… or one of my boys will find her. Now, where were-"
Heavy footsteps echoed in the hallway; the man jumped back when he saw something come swinging in his direction. Another Nen user, this time a young boy "You're okay Ashton?"
"Fine," Ashton saw the flecks of blood splattered across the boy's shirt "what about you…? You're not hurt?"
"No, Killua was taking out some of the thugs. I heard the gunshots and I ran here."
"Alluka. I told her to get in the nearest room and lock it."
"What if there was-"
"En, the surrounding rooms were unoccupied, so she'll be safe."
"Unless he kicks down the door… or wall…"
"Enhancer?"
"Most likely…"
The man moved once more, swinging at Daniel first. The teen avoided the attack, grateful for Killua's high-speed training. A direct hit from an Enhancer is a no go right now.
Given the way the man moved, he was highly trained. Not the run of the mill kind of Nen user, but one proficient in Ren, maybe even Ryu. The man immediately switched targets, aiming for Ashton.
The woman stepped away, avoiding several of his attacks before the eighth grasped her arm. The man swung her up in the air before slamming her back into the ground, smiling sinisterly.
Daniel moved to attack the man, only to stop once they used Ashton as a shield. Plan B… Switching tactics, Daniel conjured his ability, hands crawling from underneath his feet reaching out to grasp the man.
The other fired the gun in the direction of the kid once she saw the hands, "A de-demon!" Raising his weapon, Daniel knocked aside every bullet, while keeping his eyes trained on the Nen user.
The moment he heard the click of an empty magazine, the young boy completely focused on the man.
The hands grabbed onto his ankle, breaking his stance. He brought his weapon down, slamming it on the man's elbow, the cracking of bones echoing throughout the hallways. Rather than crying out in agony, he kicked the woman as she fell from his grasp straight into the boy, knocking the two down.
"Ow…" Daniel complained as the two were slammed into the end of the hallway's wall, "You okay Ashton."
"I'm fine…"
Daniel heard a loud crack resonate, the boy's eyes training once more on the man. It was clear, that his ability allowed him to mend bones in some manner or another. Maybe even reset their position, because the moment he was looking at them, he was making a fist with the hand on the same arm, he had just broken.
"You're a lot stronger than you look kid… what's your name."
"Daniel Darkscryer…"
"The name's Hilhike, and I'm going to snap you in twine." He moved quick, the two splitting apart, right as he slammed his fist into the marble wall, leaving a large hollow wall in his wake.
They needed to bring him down, preferably before, he took the whole building down with them.
The two charged the man once more, each coming at him in different directions.
"~"
Killua heard the loud crash, his hand snapping as he flicked his wrist. Drops of blood sprayed across the wall, eyes once more moving towards the Nen user missing an arm. She was quite agile, avoiding Killua's attacks for most of the time until a quick burst of speed caught her off-guard.
The woman's hand clutched to the bloody stump, teeth gritting together out of fear…
That was no normal kid she was dealing with.
It felt like a foreboding wall of bloodlust, a large deadly cobra threatening to swallow her whole, ready to pounce at a moment's notice.
To make matters worse, the kid acted unfazed by what was going on around him. Whether it was the loud crash from her companion or the series of gunshots… she was his only target right now.
"I'm wasting too much time…" Killua reached into his pocket, pulling out a small yo-yo.
The woman laughed as the teen flicked out his wrist, the yo-yo unwinding, spinning rapidly before snapping back towards the ring "A fucken yo-yo…"
"Well, yeah…" Killua grinned widely, flicking out his wrist once more, sending the tool hurtling towards the woman.
She brought up her hand, aura circling her hand. It was the worst mistake she could ever make. The moment she tried to grasp the tool, the thing pierced right through her palm, taking out a large chunk of the middle of her palm, along with two fingers, before going straight through her throat.
The tool hit the wall behind them with a heavy 'thunk', rebounding off the now cracked wall.
She gasped in shock, the entire act not registering till she fell to the floor with a heavy thud. With a hand reaching out, her gaze started to fade, barely registering the loud crash behind where she once stood. What… happened…? Drawing her last breath, the hand once being lifted to reach towards her enemy hit the floor with a heavy smack.
Killua tugged the string, the yo-yo returning, returning via its seemly original path. However, rather than through the neck and hand, it only went through the skull of the fallen enemy before returning to its original position, "Never assume anything…" Flicking the tool, flecks of blood and brain matter splattered across the wall "Sorry Ashton… you're gonna need some serious cleaners and builders… maybe even some new carpet."
Another heavy crash echoed in the endless hallways, the boy drawing his attention towards the direction of the noise.
Killua ran towards the sounds, unaware of the person hiding, terrified of what they witnessed.
"I… I must tell Ashton."
"~"
Daniel used his weapon to redirect the heavy blows, the weapon able to consistently take hits like a professionally made shield. He was grateful for the master craftmanship of Mikkel's handiwork.
But after redirecting so many hits, maybe he should have thought about adding spikes to his weapons, so the person at least hurt themselves on every failure to land a hit on him.
The man feinted on his next hit, the boy blocking at the worst angle. A fist connected with the boy's chest; spit being belched out through his lips.
"Daniel!" Ashton rushed towards the man.
Grabbing the kid's skull, Hilhike's fingers tightened, "One dow-"
Before he could crush the kid's skull, a hand grasped the top of his head, fingers digging into his skull and a single eye. Hilhike screamed in agony; hands letting go of the boy to instead start swinging out to reach whoever was on top of him.
When a gun fired, the person on top of his head, forced his body in that direction.
Biting down on the bullet, he spat it out "You fucken…" Grasping the person, he threw whoever was on top of him at the floor, panting heavily "fucken bitch…"
He went to touch his face, wincing when it squelched against the ruptured eye "Fucken bastard… you took out my eye. Who the fuck are you!" The man's eyes fell on another kid, one with white hair and a terrifying gaze that made him freeze in his tracks.
The kid oozed death…
"The name's Killua Zoldyck…" Killua zipped across the floor, fingers poised at the man's one good eye, sinking into the soft flesh.
Hilhike had no time to react, it was as though he blinked slowly, time slowing down for only him. Within a second, his vision faded to black, unable to see anything. The man screamed in agony, the boy's icy-cold words digging into his flesh, "You best remember that…"
Before Hilhike could counter anything, let alone turn to run away, sharp knives ran through his neck, ending his life abruptly… his ability to remember the name of the person who ended his career in what would've been less than a minute.
Killua moved when the next shot fired, a hand tightening around the back of the old woman's neck while the other grasped the gun. He wrenched the gun backwards as it fired, snapping the old lady's wrist in the process.
Killua's eyes flicked towards the bullet, noticing Ashton was already on the way to avoiding its path.
The groups' eyes widened when a voice called out, a person running around the corner "Ash-"
Ashton reached out moving towards the young boy now standing in the path of the bullet, "Move!"
Daniel got up, grasping his weapon, he lunged his spear, the blade inches away from Leo's face. A loud 'tink' resonated in the hallway as the bullet hit the hard surface, where it promptly fell to the floor after abruptly losing all its energy from rebounding off the metal surface.
Daniel exhaled in relief, Leo falling to the floor, practically pissing himself from not only having a weapon's blade being thrust almost into his face but also, almost dying from a bullet, had, the weapon not being in its direct line of shot.
Ashton moved towards Killua and Margret, fingers tightening around the collar of the mother who almost shot her child "You…" She brought her fist back, purposely reducing her aura before slamming it into the woman's face, knocking several teeth in the process, "fucken bitch!"
Killua grasped the woman's hand, stopping her second blow from connecting with the woman's face "Are you sure it's wise to kill her… with Leo watching?"
Ashton trembled at the news, "No… you're right. Though, hearing it from a Zoldyck… If you ever told me that would happen, I'd laugh. I'd think you were joking." The woman pulled back her hand, Margret now sobbing after having the realisation hit her. She almost shot her daughter.
"I'm calling the police… I've got my evening cut out for me."
"Are you going to be okay… considering everything that happened?"
"Will I go to jail for punching Margret in the face…? No, a slap on the wrist certainly. But this broken sack of shit is gonna go to jail for a long time…"
Ashton leaned closer to the woman, earning a spit to the face. She wiped it off before standing once more, "Listen, lady… it's not corruption… but when you're a high-brow figure, to tend to get perks when you're rich. And in my case… I'm quite rich… but that's not why you'll be in more trouble than I'll be… it's because you… attacked me at my business… and if I find dead guards downstairs… you can bet, I'm making sure you stay locked up. And it's not only gonna be for hate crimes… it's gonna be for killing innocent bystanders."
"No matter… you'll burn in hell."
"Good, at least I'll be there to welcome you with open arms."
The group was silenced when Daniel clicked a finger, "I figure it out, Killua…"
"That we were under attack?"
"No… I finally figured out why I found you attractive, within that moment. It's because the light hit you at the right angle, giving you an ethereal glow, an angelic look."
Killua turned his face away from the other, blushing madly, "You a damn Baka! You IDIOT!"
As Ashton burst into laughter, Margret continued to hurl abuse at the three of them.
