Chapter 2: Unholy Wine. (4/5)
After Malak of Cintra left his uncle Dandelion in a Orphanage to accompany the exiled sister of the duchess of Toussaint. The Witcher was having to deal with a somewhat quiet trip towards the target of the assassination that he will have to partake in order to help his uncle on his idiotic quest for a special could read the mind of Sylvia Anna in order to know why did she wanted those people assassinated, but he decided against it due to being afraid of the reason being petty or stupid which would make the whole ordeal even unpleasant and uncomfortable than it needs to be.
Both of them galloped next to each other on their horse towards a location that Malak was unaware of. But since she wasn't necessarily welcomed in Toussaint, he decided to simply go with it despite his dislike for the lack of information. Sincerely, he just wanted to get that over with, because his uncle Dandelion's legendary bad luck will certainly start to act if they take too long to get the so-called special wine. The Witcher was sincerely still a bit dumbfounded about the ridiculousness of this entire situation and how stupid he is being by taking part in that. But that's the thing about the Black Wolf, he's incapable of saying no to his loved ones, a fact that a lot of people could exploit easily.
Observing Sylvia Anna or to a select few, Syanna. Malak has to admit that the resemblance between her and her sister was pretty uncanny, but so far, he saw a complete lack of similarities in personality, which is a relief. Soon enough, after what Malak assumes to have been two hours of galloping on the horses, they arrived at a location.
"Is this a Vineyard?" Malak asked as he observed the place from afar.
"Belgaard Vineyard, a world-renowned vineyard of Toussaint." The beautiful woman that was right beside him responded. "It's owned by a former knight in Toussaint who later turned to wine making." She explained with a somewhat dark expression on her face.
It only took a few seconds for Malak to figure out why they were there. "This former knight is one of the men you want killed." It wasn't a question.
"Vladimir Crespi," Sylvia said his name in a very spiteful manner."Or Count Crespi as he enjoyed to call himself." She said that in a way that appeared as she was mocking him. Whatever this Count Crespi did to her, it must have been something awful to trigger so much spitefulness. Despite knowing her sister, I highly doubt that they share the same personality which makes this whole thing even more unpleasant.
"What do you want me to do?" The Black Wolf asked Syanna.
She moved her head to look at him with her blue eyes. "I don't know yet," That was her answer. "but I'll know when I see him." There was a lot of certainty in her voice. "For now, we wait." The Duchess's sister signalled him to follow her, and he did without question.
Malak followed Syanne as she obviously searched for a spot to observe the Vineyard from afar as it would allow them to keep a watchful eye on the property as they await for the man that Malak is supposed to kill. Honestly, Malak just wanted to shoot him from afar with the Bullet thrower, but it was kind of clear that Syanne wanted him to suffer, so it will definitely not be that simple. The two of them found a spot at a distance where they could observe the entrance of the Vineyard from afar.
"No offense or anything, but despite having agreed with your request, I would rather know what I am supposed to be doing rather than making it up as we go on." Malak voiced his concern since his stay there was already complicated enough as it is and he certainly wouldn't want to make it even more.
"Sadly, you will have to content yourself with the terms I give you." Syanne didn't even bother to look at him as he voiced his concern as she observed the Vineyard from afar as she awaited for the man that she wanted killed.
Malak sighed as he decided to let it be for now, despite having an urge to read her mind in order to finally understand the information. But, once again, he remembered that he doesn't really want to know because the less he knows, the better. Hilariously, they're attempts to stay hidden seemed pretty futile for him since their choice of clothing kept the two of them sticking out like a sore thumb. Since neither of them fitted the sunny environment with their choice of dark clothing.
Having little to do while they waited. Malak observed the Vineyard from afar and noticed something strange about it. The Vineyard was completely empty, and the reason that was strange, was because that was a considerably sized place and there should be workers or at least someone watching over the place. There's something off about that Vineyard... The Black Wolf thought as he got off the horse that he was riding and grabbed his bullet thrower in order to check the Vineyard up close with the telescopic scope.
"I assume you can see things from afar with that weapon of yours." Syanne asked him as she stood beside him.
"Yes," Malak confirmed her assumption. "And I don't know if this is intentional but..." He handed the bullet thrower to her in order to show her. "Don't you think this Vineyard is a little too..."
"Empty." Placing the Bullet thrower on her hands and showing her how to properly look through the scope. The young woman noticed the exact same thing that Malak did.
"My knowledge of wine production is considerably limited, but I am quite certain that a vineyard of that particular size should not be so empty." Malak pointed out his suspicion.
"You are quite correct, Black Wolf." Syanne also noticed that there was something off about this. "I was honestly planning on staying put and observing from afar, but circumstances seem to have changed." She handed the weapon back to him.
"Do you wish to check the vineyard?" Malak asked her as he put the Bullet thrower back on his back.
"It is not supposed to be so empty, so..." Syanna replied before she made her way back to her horse, with Malak following behind her. "Stay alert, I have feelings about this..."
I have a bad feeling about this entire situation as a whole, so already ahead of you. Malak thought as he observed Syanne climbing her horse before doing the same thing. Just like her sister, she has a beautiful behind. The young man was particularly staring at her ass since she bent over to adjust herself on top of the horse. Once she finished mounting her horse, the Black Wolf did the same.
Quietly, she galloped her horse forward and Malak followed behind her. They weren't very far away from the vineyard to begin with, so it only took a couple of minutes for them to arrive there. Though, as they got closer, Malak sensed a strange smell in the air and it wasn't the sweet smell of wine. It smells like... Vinegar? That was the peculiar smell that Malak was sensing as the two approached the vineyard that belongs to the man that Syanne wants assassinated, and Malak already noticed that there was something wrong. It could be his Witcher intuition but he feels something dreadful in the air and it was not the awful smell of vinegar. Moving his violet eyes around, he noticed something interesting about the plantation.
Those grapes seem... Malak noticed something strange about the grapes that were used for the wine production. So he reached out for one of them as he and Syanna were about to reach the residence that belonged to Vladimir Crespi. Placing the grape inside his mouth, Malak noticed almost instantly that the grape was toxic.
"What is it?" Syanna asked as she noticed what he just did.
"Those grapes are toxic." Malak informed her as he swallowed the grape.
"What do you mean?" She asked in confusion.
"I often consume potions with high levels of toxicity, and this grape just gave me the same feeling as a potion usually does." He could feel the toxicity as he felt the juice from the single grape descend his throat. "It has very little effect on me, but it could serve as a poison for a human."
The attractive young woman widened her eyes in response. "Are you telling me, this entire vineyard is composed of poisoned grapes?!" She was visibly surprised by that revelation.
"I am not sure if it is the entire vineyard, but I can tell just by looking at the grapes that they are toxic." Malak responded to her question, as the grapes he could see had a strange color that was certainly not the color of a normal grape. "I may be mistaken, but I highly doubt that this was intentional from the owner's part."
Syanna frowned in response. "You would be surprised." She spoke with a lot of spitefulness in her voice.
"That he would jeopardize his main source of income and risk ruining a world-renowned vineyard of Toussaint, and bring the wrath of the nobility upon himself as a result?" Wine is practically sacred in Toussaint, and if this vineyard is one of the most well-known ones in the Land of Wine, then ruining it in any sort of way would be unbelievably foolish. The Black Wolf thought in wonder. "We should investigate further before making any conclusions."
"Agreed." That was her answer as she signalled him to keep following her.
The two of them then continued to make their way towards the property with Malak looking at every single grape that he could see and he started to come to the conclusion that most or all of the grapes were toxic. If those grapes were made into wine, the toxicity could be hidden with the right ingredients and they wouldn't feel the effect until much later. He was making conclusions, but that was a possibility. A very unsavory possibility, but a possibility nonetheless.
Reaching the main building, Malak couldn't help but notice that the smell of vinegar just increased and he wondered if it had something to do with the toxicity of the grapes. The building itself seemed to be multipurpose, to store wine and to live on it. The smell of vinegar was stronger at the storage area, but Malak decided to inspect that later.
"Come on." Syanna got off her horse once again. "Let's see if there's anyone inside."
Malak just nodded as he also descended from his horse to follow her.
The Witcher and the Exiled then made their way towards the main building where Vladimir Crespi probably lived. But, as they were about to step inside, his father's Witcher's medallion that he was wearing on his neck started to act.
"What is it?" Syanna asked him as he touched her shoulder to stop her before she could open the main door.
Malak gently pulled her to stand behind him as he pulled his sword out. "I suggest you run while you still can..." That was his warning as he gets into a stance.
Unsurprisingly, Syanna made a worried expression and started to look at the building in front of her in worry. Which turned out to be the right reaction as very loud noises could be heard from inside and Malak prepared himself because there was no way that whatever was making that noise, was anything other than a monster. "Shit!" That was the right choice of words.
The building in front of them had seven visible windows. And the seven windows just got smashed with strange looking tentacles coming out of each. Dammit... Malak thought as the seven tentacles just charged at him. But sadly, before he could defend himself, an eighth tentacle revealed itself. "AH!" It came through the door like a spear and hit Malak in the chest, shoving him and Syanna away from the building.
"AAAH!" Syanne grunted as she and Malak fell on the ground at the same time.
The horses that they were riding on were startled by what was happening and tried to run away from the area, but the tentacles caught them first. Lifting the two horses off the ground and crushing them right before their eyes like they were nothing. Wait a minute, those tentacles are... Malak, who just stood up from the ground as the poor horses were being crushed by the strange looking tentacles, noticed something. The tentacles seemed to be made of muscle. That's not a monster's tentacles, that's muscle, human muscle. That was a wild guess, but he highly doubts that it's any other kind.
Once it was done with the horses, it tried to attack Malak and Syanna again. But the Witcher was quicker and used a fire spell at one of the tentacles. "OOOOOOOOO AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" Whatever that tentacle belonged, screamed like a man. The fire burned through the flesh, confirming to Malak that it was human, or some type of humanoid flesh. "YEEEADFCVHBVJDVGGGH!" It seemed to be trying to communicate as well, but the words just came out as incoherent phrases. "PPCDGCDYHHRRFJTEDGDUFIJI!"
"That's Vladimir's voice." Syanna pointed out as they watched the monster in front of them wave it's tentacles around aimlessly in an attempt to put out the fire on it's tentacle. "Is this some type of curse?" She asked the Witcher.
"Possibly," Though, Malak never saw a curse like this before. "Did he have any enemies?" He asked,
"Ummmm...Yes."Syanna pointed at herself as a response. "But, I am quite certain that I am not the only one." She seems completely certain of that. "What now?" The beautiful woman asked the beautiful Witcher as they watched the monster putting out the fire on it's tentacle.
"I am going to do what I came here to do." Which was kill the man, but with some circumstantial difficulty. "And you will get as far away from this vineyard right now, because it is about to attack us again." He spoke calmly as the monster swings it's tentacle at the two. Which Malak stopped by performing an earth spell that caused the dirt from the ground to erupt and then solidify, trapping the tentacle on the ground.
"No need to tell me twice." Syanna heard him loud and clear before she prepared to run as Malak placed his blade back on his back. "Thank you."
"Thank me after I am done." He told her with confidence as he pulled the Bullet thrower out.
The dark haired woman and the dark haired Witcher, both ran in opposite directions. One ran towards the monster while the other ran away from it. Charging towards it in order to face the monster that he found by accident, Malak of Cintra was now running towards the building that had tentacles sticking out of it. "AAGEGCDHFDUFT!" The monster that is supposedly Vladimir Crespi kept trying to speak, but the words made no sense and he really didn't care about what he was trying to say. Because whatever it was, he highly doubts that it would be useful to the current situation.
As he ran towards the building, the tentacles made an attempt to stop him by wildly swinging at him.
The first tentacle tried to crush him by coming at him from above in a downward motion. Malak easily defended himself against, by making an earth pillar rise from the ground in front of him. A very pointy pillar that pierced through the tentacle. "FFUDHUFJVRBYHJIOJ!"
The second tentacle swinged at him from the side. But Malak reacted quickly by picking one of his explosives and tossing towards the charging tentacle, before he shot it with the Bullet thrower. Causing it an explosion that blew half of the tentacle up. "DGFDSSSSHDGFIGYU!"
The third tentacle tried to thrust on him as the first one that hit him and Syanna earlier. However, Malak took the opportunity and jumped on top of it once it got close enough. It responded by lifting him off the ground, but Malak kept himself from falling by pulling out his dagger and stabbing it into the tentacle. "FFBFFJGFFHGGUJFGHF!" The same incoherent words kept coming out of the monster and Malak kept wondering what it was saying.
The stab caused it to lift the tentacle up in the air. Malak pulled the dagger off the tentacle and ran down the tentacle as fast as he could while firing at the other tentacles at an impressive speed. "ZYWTZDHDJHDIFJU7HFGIGGDTGTGJTGKGF! ! !" It was obvious that it was in pain as each bullet landed on the other tentacles.
The moment he got close enough, Malak noticed that the window that the tentacle was sticking out of was the window that was the closest to the rooftop. So Malak jumped onto the rooftop and stood on top of the building. I need to get inside. Malak thought as he reached for the pouch for another explosive. But as he did, the tentacles made a futile attempt to hit him, but it failed due to Malak evading the tentacles by jumping around the rooftop. Until Malak actually lightened the explosive and dropped before evading another attack. "AAAAAAARFGHJKKKKK! ! !" The monster screamed again as the explosive exploded as soon as the tentacle came at Malak. Blowing both the tentacle and the roof up. Seeing the opportunity, Malak ran towards the hole that was made by the explosion and jumped on it in order to enter the building that belongs to Vladimir Crespi.
"What?" That was Malak's reaction as he saw the interior of the home. The inside resembled the interior of a person or a creature. As he did, the walls resembled entrails. It looked like the inside of the monsters that I helped uncle Eskel dissect. Malak thought as the unpleasant memories of the autopsies that he and his uncle Eskel performed for research flashed through his mind as he observed his surroundings with his weapon at hand. What kind of mutation is this? It seemed like the monster fused itself with the building, but it was only visible from the inside.
Stepping on the floor that seemed to be made of human insides. Malak kept himself prepared for anything as he searched for the center of the monster. This seemed to be the result of either a curse or some unethical experimentation. Though, how it happened wasn't really important. Since this was still an assassination.
Moving slowly as the tentacles moved wildly outside. Malak arrived at a giant hole located at the center of the building. "Mmmm..." That was the sound that he made as he looked down. Putting his Bullet thrower back on his back as he came up with a plan.
The hole pretty went all the way down, with each floor being connected by a very peculiar sight. In the middle of the building, there was a very strange looking ball that seemed to be a mixture of body parts that were crushed together and the tentacles seemed to be coming out of it. "I don't know you personally, Vladimir Crespi." Malak spoke to it.
"GFYHdKFHGUHGUTTGbF! ! !" It reacted to Malak's words, indicating that it could hear him.
"But if someone was willing to put you through this kind of suffering, I can only assume that you deserve it." Since he highly doubts that Syanna's hatred towards the man was unfounded.
"NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOVVLLLLADDDD ! ! !" It kept on with it's futile attempts to communicate, but Malak didn't pay attention to.
The center is clearly it's weak spot. So I just need to attack there. That was Malak's assumption. As he drew his blade. Normally, I would drop an explosive or use a spell, but I genuinely don't want to waste energy or equipment if I can help it. Because this entire mess just became more difficult than he expected and he really didn't want to test his luck later. One precise stab from above should do. The Black Wolf hopes as he prepares to jump down and stab the center from above.
Sadly, his plan was put on hold due to one of the tentacles pulling itself in and charging into Malak's direction. "Dammit!" Malak performed a single handed handspring to evade the upcoming tentacle that crashed into the roof of the interior. Before holding his blade with both hands and preparing himself for the next attack.
But then, Malak noticed blood coming down from the spot where it collided. "TTTTAAAAAAHHH!" And the creature grunting in pain as a result of it. That gave him an idea. If this is your insides. He thought, before he actually stabbed his sword on the floor, with blood sprawling from it as a result. "YYYYAAASTTTTTTTTTT!" It let out another incoherent grunt of pain. The tentacle tried to charge at Malak in retaliation, but Malak simply reacted by pulling out the sword and stabbing the floor multiple times. "BBBBAASFRRASSA!" The tentacle seemed to have felt the stab, since it started to shake and wiggle around in a unpleasant looking motion. Which Malak exploited by charging towards it, keeping the tip of his blade on the floor, slicing it all the way until he got close enough. "YYYYDDSSAA!" The moment he got close, Malak leaped forward and delivered a very precise slice that chopped the tip of tentacle up. "AGHBGHVRYXUDUR!"
The Witcher watched as the tentacle went berserk and started to crash it down on every side it went. However, that wasn't Malak's concern, because as it did, he looked down the hole once again and noticed that it was pulling the rest of it's tentacles inside. "I don't think so!" Malak held his blade in a reverse grip with both hands and jumped down with the blade downwards as he descended.
The moment it managed to get all of it's tentacles inside the home. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !" As his sword pierced through the center of the creature, a very loud human sounding scream came out of it.
"It's barely even in." Malak spoke in response to the loud scream. It is not the first time I said that, but this is by far the worst situation that I ever said it. He acknowledged as he pushed his sword deeper into it.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
"What?" He asked calmly as the strange circle made of body parts opened itself while pushing his blade out. Malak decided to pull it out in order to get a better view at what was inside of it.
"RRRRAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!" Only for a humanoid looking creature to come out of it. It tried to grab Malak as soon as it got out forcing the Witcher to jump away from it.
The beautiful Witcher fell into the bottom of the building and once he reached it. He moved his head up to look at whatever it was. Wait, I think uncle Lambert once mentioned something like this. Malak actually remembered that once, his uncle Lambert told him a story about a curse that was put on a Duke by a Necromancer. The details that he gave Malak greatly resembles the current situation. "I assume that Syanna wasn't the only one you wronged." The Black Wolf commented as he watched the humanoid creature fall from the ball. "My uncle Lambert explained that only someone with uncanny levels of hate or unbelievable levels of pettiness would put someone through that much suffering." Though, he did mention that he strongly believes that the latter was the case. "He did tell me how he broke the curse," He told the humanoid creature that resembled a deformed man that had his skin flayed. "I could easily do that for you."
"PPPPPPLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAASSSRRF! ! !" Malak can only assume that he understood him and attempted to beg him to break the curse.
"But, it isn't up to me." The beautiful man told him as he pulled out a bomb from his pouch and ignited. "So you will have to beg someone else for my help." He tossed the bomb towards one of the walls.
"YYYYYSAAAAAARRRRRR!" The humanoid monster, that he assumes to be Vladimir Crespi, tried to charge towards Malak. But was startled by the explosion, and Malak responded to it's sudden aggression, by delivering a vertical jab into it's face. Which caused the pathetic looking thing to fall into the disgusting looking ground.
The explosion caused a hole on the wall that leads to the outside. "Would you kindly follow me, please?" He requested Vladimir as he put his sword back into his back.
"KKKKKIIIOLLLLLLGGGGGYYYYYYY!" Vladimir responded by standing up and trying to attack Malak again.
But Malak reacted by striking him in the face with a backhand strike that caused him to fall on the floor once again. "So uncivilized." It was all that the Black Wolf spoke as he passed through the hole on the wall that he made. As soon as he did, he noticed Syanna standing there.
"So you manage to kill it?" She asked, since apparently, the reason that she came back was because the tentacles were moving anymore.
"Not exactly..." Malak spoke as he approached the attractive woman and stood beside her.
"VAAAAAAAAWEEEEEEEEEEEW!" Vladimir then came out of the hole as well, startling Syanna as a result.
"What the fuck is that thing?!" Syanna asked with a very disgusted face.
"TUUUUUUMMMMMMMEEEEEBBBBBBAAAAAA!" Once again, it tried to attack Malak by charging towards him. Only for Malak to simply respond by delivering a right hook into it's face, causing it to fall on the ground again.
Syanna then stared at the pathetic creature for a second. "Crespi?" And recognized it. Despite it's grotesque appearance, it still resembled a person and since Malak never saw him before, he can only trust Syanna's conclusion. She chuckled at it for a bit before asking. "What happened to him?" The woman asked, clearly pleased with the current state of the man that she wants dead.
"It is a Necromancy based curse," Malak explained, sadly, despite his knowledge of Necromancy, he doesn't know much about it other than the explanation given by his uncle Lambert. "Basically, it is supposed to fuse someone who is undead with an inanimate object as a form of punishment." Or something similar, honestly, I'm pretty certain that uncle Lambert just made that explanation up.
"Are you saying someone fused him with his vineyard as punishment?" She asked him.
"Honestly, I have no idea and since I don't really need to lift his curse, it doesn't really matter." Malak spoke bluntly since this simple assassination attempt turned into a monster hunting mission. "I don't think there's anything you can do to inflict even more pain on him, so..." The Black Wolf pulled out his dagger and offered her. "Would you like to take your revenge?"
"SSSSSSCCCCCCUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTTTR!" It tried to yell at the two, but Malak simply responded by kicking it on the spot where his ribs are supposed to by in order to make him lay on his back.
"Well?" Malak held the dagger in his hand for her to take it.
Syanna seemed to be contemplating his offer. A contemplation that lasted five seconds before she grabbed the dagger from his hands and stood next to him.
"He can understand everything that you say, so, if you have any words of hate to give him, go on ahead." Malak spoke as he walked away from the two.
"Where are you going?" She asked him.
"DDDDDDDDDOOKKKK-" Vladimir tried to scream at him, but Syanna just stomped on it's head, five times.
"I need to destroy the plantation, because it clearly has been compromised." Malak assumes that whoever cursed Vladimir, decided to ruin the vineyard as well.
"VNMKMJJJHHHJKKIKII-" Vladimir tried to yell at him again, apparently, as a reaction to what Malak just said.
But Syanna only kicked his head like it was a ball. "Alright then," She told him as an evil smirk appeared on her face. "This might take a while anyway."
"PYYYYSSSSSSSS! ! !" It yelled once again, probably in fear due to the woman holding a dagger next to him.
"Have fun." Malak spoke as he turned his back at the two and moved towards the plantation. I really hope that the other assassinations don't turned out this way. He thinks in annoyance due to the out of nowhere event that just occurred. After I go back to Kaer Morhen, I will see if I can find more about this curse. Mostly because of the oddity of it.
"PPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEWWPPPPPPPPPIIIIIIIIII! ! !" He heard screams of agony coming from the thing that Vladimir Crespi became. But Malak just ignored it since he probably deserves it.
Walking slowly towards the plantation, Malak noticed that the smell of vinegar returned, still having no clue where it was coming from. But that wasn't really important right now. Once the Witcher got close enough of the plantation, all that he did was launch a very simple fire spell at it.
The sounds of screams echoed throughout the vineyard as the fire spread around the plantation like wildfire. The Black Wolf simply watches burn as he awaits for Syanna to finish with her revenge. Hoping that it doesn't take long because they really need to leave before someone notices the big tentacles sticking out of the main building and the plantation on fire. Made it worse by the fact that they lost their horses.
"Hmmmm..." There was still some wonder about the reason behind his curse and what exactly did the man do to Syanna. But he quickly shakes the thought off his mind for now. I need focus, getting uncle Dandelion out of Toussaint before the Duchess returns from her trip is the priority.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! ! !" The loud screams of agony could be heard as the flames took over the entire plantation, with a strange looking smoke rising from the flames. The smoke, thankfully, isn't toxic, so Malak didn't need to worry. "WWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! ! ! ! !" He finally screamed something that they could understand, but judging by the scream of pain that came afterwards.
It wasn't the right choice of words.
Sorry everyone for this horrendous delay, the truth is, I had an lot of difficulty with this chapter and had to rewrite it eight times. And I'm still not satisfied with how the chapter turned out but despite my unsatisfactory opinion, I really hope you people enjoyed.
As always.
Q and A:
will malak meet visenna.
Maybe...
So that preview got me thinking about the events of the Witcher 2
One I of course hope Malak is able to save both Triss and Adda from their respective captors
Two things have played out where instead of the Blue Stripes being on the side of Henselt and Kaedwen the Blue Stripes are actually on Saskia's side meaning we get the frankly possibly hilarious situation where Iorweth and Vernon Roche have to work together meaning Malak could maybe get a laugh from seeing the two be in the same room and having to restrain themselves from trying to kill the other
Plus side of the Blue Stripes being on Saskia's side less chance all but two of them die and Henselt doesn't get near Ves
With Saskia to hope Malak tempers some of her idealism she still goes for the all races are equal deal but when it comes to uprooting the whole social order between Nobles and the Peasants yeah world isn't quite ready for that gotta give them a couple hundred years before that
But with Malak being Saskia's rider I'm guessing after they link up she isn't going to be leaving his side
Know I spoke about the state of the world in the witcher 3 but I'd like to revise that as for holding Adda captive when Malak goes and gets her I can see him killing Radovid in the process thus leaving Redania up for the taking
In other words hoping Adda's Temeria and Saskia's Aedirn take what's north of their respective Kingdoms meaning they are the powers fighting the Empire in the third war
Big benefit of this set up is the Mages don't get as majorly fucked over like they did in canon because they don't have Radovid making hunting magic users a state encouraged pass time
Been meaning to say aside from their being a few people that would fight and die for Malak like some certain sorceresses I hope there's a few monsters that are out there that would also show Malak that type of loyalty
Yep still hoping we see Malak has stolen the hearts of the two Aguara from the graphic novel and a succubus or two and a female Vampire
Could be fun to note to that for Succubi they find Malak's life force nourishing as hell that they only take the tiniest of drops and they are more than fully slatted while Vampires have a similar reaction to his blood
It could also be fun if during the prep for the Wild Hunts attack on Kaer Morhen due to Malak the most unlikely group of defenders ever has formed that has a good chunk of the lodge and monsters in said group
It will play out highly different.
With loads of difficulty, but...
Sadly, Malak is being hunted during that time , so the Blue Stripes aid Henself to get to him. {Hilariously, it only lasts until Adda becomes Queen.}
Malak does find her idealism misguided, but he doesn't interfere, at least not until it actually causes consequences for her.
Sadly, she will. But she will always come when be calls her.
Unfortunately, he will be too busy to do that.
Well...
Unfortunately...
Absolutely...
Hmmmm...
Malak is unique on those regards.
Yup...
.
way I see it with the lodge I can see Margarita being genuine in patching up. Would not say no to Malak angrily bedding Philippa though For Malak's virility I imagine it being similar to Dragon Ages Grey Wardens, extremely dificult but not impossible
LOL! I really don't know about that. But I agree with the difficult part.

Well at least we know where Malak is off to once he's done in the land of wine
Will say I did expect Malak to be just as tall as his father anyway liked the description of the weapons and curious who the woman on his stiletto is based on
Least we know Malak can sing very well now to haha
When we got to the orphanage I'll admit I was wondering right where's the vampire haha but while we didn't see her like I expected I did like who we did get Malak meeting
Malak slapping the shit out of Arnaud and likely helping keep a potential future bards interest in music was nice to haha
Now Syanna appearing was a unexpected treat and will say it's certainly smarter for her to entrust killing the knights who wronged her to Malak over Dattlaff who as we know is a tad emotionally unstable
While she didn't tell him why she wants these four knights dead I imagine Malak will soon get to hear her story and Malak should have no trouble dealing with any of the four targets
My hope now is as he kills the targets for her Syanna opens more and more to him and in turn he helps her come to forgive Anna starting off by pointing out the point of that Anna like Syanna was a child when she was exiled what was she going to do so yeah hoping he kills the targets and patches things up between the two sisters while no one uncovers who killed these four knights
Needless to say loved the preview with Saskia
Even if it did reveal Adda will be held by that prick Radovid
Still pretty awesome that Malak and Saskia will have a unique bond with him being her rider
With Anna doing something naughty to say the least with Malak I also hope it's because one she's grateful for him bringing her and her sister back together and two she genuinely likes him haha Syanna and her could frame it as them learning to share again haha
Great learning he writes to Priscilla a lot so I do hope then that when he next sees her she tells him she's started writing his more official tale that of course still has plenty of sex in it haha
Ah so it was Mistle then okay quick side note hope when Kayleigh tried to have his way with Ciri Malak dam near killed him or at the least terrified him and sent him running before Mistle came in but good to know Malak and Ciri got back at Mistle
Okay Margarita being the one to take Malak's virginity is great now I really want to see a interaction with her hopefully with a severe lack of clothing haha
But I'm glad Margarita is one of the lodge members I was hoping Malak would be close with
Yup...
He's shorter, thinner and less broader. But he is much more attractive. A certain Elven Queen.
He had a wonderful teacher.
Maybe...
Definitely...
She used her sister mysterious trip as an opportunity.
Not as easy as you'll expect.
Well...
I'm glad you did...
Adda saw no point in marrying him after her father's demise, especially if it was going to interfere on her place as Queen.
Their bond actually already exists but they don't know about it. Let's just say that, when Geralt and Yen met her father, Yen was after some Dragon parts for a very different reason.
Ummmmmmmmm...
Malak would prefer for it to be completely sex free, as he already has enough of a reputation because of Dandelion's songs.
Actually, Malak caught him trying to take advantage of Ciri and performed a Rear naked choke on him, and would have strangled him to death if Mistle didn't stop him and kicked Kayleigh out of the place. Then she laid the exhausted Malak next to an incapacitated Ciri and proceeded to take advantage of the two of them.
Yen was very furious when she discovered though.
The story is getting more and more fun. I secretly feel sorry for Malak, who has to solve problems for his uncle.
-What was his armor like?
question i want to know Everyone else asked. Let's keep it for next time.
He loves Dandelion, so it's not too much of a bother.
Malak's armor is based on Magic Armor from The Legend of Zelda.
See ya!
oh! I didn't know this is before the start of the games. now it makes sense why he thinks Garalt is dead.
After a few adventurous, the plot of Witcher 1 will start, though with several changes.
