Chapter 5: Chicken Heart
The police station was mostly empty. Jerry was the only one in the holding cell, he was passed out on the bed drooling on to the mattress. The two police officers were drinking coffee and looking at their phones. An older cop walked in and saw them, he waited patiently for them to notice them but their eyes were glued to their screens. The older cop coughed and two jumped and quickly shaped up. The older cop handed them a file, "Make yourselves useful and go file this." They took it and quickly left for the file room. Jerry opened his eyes and slowly looked around, "Rough night Jerry." The old cop said as he filled a cup with water, "I must be in hell if your cracker ass is still sheriff Mr. Clearwater. Still attending the local cross burnings?" Jerry said sarcastically knowing it wasnt true. Clearwater approached the cell and handed Jerry some water, "I don't know how you actually convinced people i was part of the Klan, especially when my wife was Puerto Rican." That made Jerry laugh.
"Look Jerry, I'm happy to see you after all these years but you can't be publicly intoxicated. Now im not going to fine you, but I am going to punish you. Your punishment is to sit there and tell me what youve been up to these past years while we wait for my sweet wife to come and bring us some delicious chicken heart soup." Jerry cringed at the thought of eating chicken hearts but he didn't want to upset Mrs. Clearwater, she was always nice. Mr. Clearwater grabbed a chair and set infront of the cell, "So do you want to start or should I?" Before he could answer, Jerry grew nauseated. He threw up all over the floor before nearly passing out, "I'm not cleaning that up." Mr. Clearwater said before yelling for the other two cops to get a mop.

Cargo ships departed and unloaded in the harbor while many workers on the ground and in cranes guided them. To the novice this would be chaos but to Ethan Carter it was beautiful day in the neighborhood. The sounds of metal bashing against eachother, the noise of the crane lifting heavy objects, and his favorite sound of the boats horns going off. All of it reminded him as a kid working the docks as a young boy. He was surrounded by two guards in suits that were way taller than him and muscular. The three walked into warehouse where a group of 6 well dressed chinese men waiting for them. Ethan walked up to them and bowed, "My apologies Mr. Hawk. Traffic today is a nightmare." Mr. Hawk laughed at his excuse, "If you think this traffic is bad just wait until you expierence chinese traffic. Though I am a little confused, I thought I would be speaking to Mr. Monroe personally."
"Mr. Monroe sends in regards but he has fallen ill and could not make it. He has entrusted me personally with negotiating this deal and feels that the Monroe Family and the Chinese Mafia could both benefit from a trade agree. I do not plan out letting Mr. Monroe down." Ethan assured him. Mr. Hawk signaled one of his men who came foward with a briefcase, "In that briefcase contains our product." The chinese man opened the briefcase revealing a handgun. Ethan picked it up and examined it and he could only say one thing, "Incredible." He looked down sight and aiming it at the window, it had started snowing. He suddenly aimed the gun at Mr. Hawk and all of his guards pulled out guns that were made out of the same material as the one he held. Mr. Hawk smiled, "I hope your find everything to your liking." Ethan put down the gun, "I am. Just seeing if I'm getting the real deal here." Ethan put it back in the briefcase and the chinese man returned to his side.
"When you deal with Hawk you deal with the best. I wouldn't sell a gun that I wouldn't arm my own men with, I promise you that." Ethan was pleased with that answer, "How much a unit?" He asked. Mr. Hawk pulled out a calculator and did some quick math, "$20,000 and we can move 100 units in 2 weeks." Ethan was not a fan of that price. "That hurts my ears Mr. Hawk." There was a reason why Marcus Monroe sent him, he was very convincing guy, "I like you Mr. Hawk. I want to do business with you but my boss prefers efficiency. 2 weeks and that price, he wouldn't be a fan. Now our connections with the the Cogar Family up North, they are working on the same project and have made offers to our family." Mr. Hawk was enraged by this, "You think some second rate canadian street gang can make better quality weapons then us? We make top of the line undetectable weapons, there whole country can't even get bacon right." Ethan had them right where he wanted him, "They might be terrible at bacon but they are efficient and don't need to be shipped over seas."
"I promise you shipping will not be a problem. But as a gestures of good will towards this alliance I will lower the price to $18,000 a unit if this pleases you." Ethan smiled, "Mr. Hawk, you just made a deal." Suddenly there was a band on the door and everyone pulled out their guns. The second bang knocked down the door letting the strong winds blow. The snow storm had picked up, no one could see much into the white cloud. Ethan tapped one of his men on the shoulder, "Go check it out." He ordered. The hulking bodyguard walked towards the door with his handgun ready. He took a few steps outside and looked around, all he could see was white. He put his gun away and looked towards everyone, "I dont see anything." He looked up just in time to see a monster foot an inch away from his face. Pumpkinhead landed on him turning him into red paste between its toes.

Jerry had started convulsing in pain as he watched through the eyes of the monster crushing that man. His eyes had turned white and he screamed for mercy. Mr. Clearwater was quick to unlock the cell and start applying his medical training.

Everyone unloaded every round they had into the creature eventually knocking it of his feet. Mr. Hawk slowly walked towards it along with four of his men to get a better look. They were horrified by its appearance, "What the hell is that." No one answered Mr. Hawk, "Whatever it is, it's going on my wall." Suddely Pumpkinhead's tail came swung around decapitation all four of them in one swoop. The last two chinese men ran to the other exit, Ethan pistol whipped his remaining guard in hopes the creature would be to busy killing the guard then focus on himself. But he was wrong as Pumpkinhead grabbed a plastic gun and chucked it at Ethan's head knocking him out. The demon made its way to Ethan and picked him up by the leg, hanging him upside down. Pumpkinhead walked over to a metal support beam and as hard as it could, swung Ethan's head into it making it burst like a watermelon.

Jerry grabbed his head and clawed at his head, "FOR GOD SAKE DON'T MAKE ME WATCH THE PAIN." He screamed. Mr. Clearwater just then knew what was going on and backed off realizing what was going on with him, he had made a pact with the devil. Not wanting to see him suffer anymore, the officer punched in the face knocking him out. He sighed as he looked behind him, his two deputies and his wife holding a picnic basket were all shocked.
