Chapter 151: The Loss

"Ah… now that was good!" Cana stated with a grin, drinking another barrel of beer next to her to which she ordered from Mira to have with her meal.

With them having finished watching the last timeline, Observer was now in the middle of setting a new link with his device and the blue smoke emitting from it while everyone else finished up the meals that Mira, Lisanna and Kinana had prepared for them to eat. Erza also had her strawberry cheesecake which she was finishing up, having desired for one after seeing her 137-C double eat one of her own in the previous reality.

"It was delicious as always!" Natsu praised the three, each who were back in their original seats before they got up to prepare everyone dinner. Said three women merely blushed from the praise from the Fire Dragon Slayer.

"Oh, we're just doing what we always do." Kinana shyly replied back, a small smile on her face from the praise.

"Don't sell yourself short, the food was excellent!" Marvell exclaimed with a grin from her spot at the bar.

"Yeah, it was delicious!" Chelia also told the purple haired woman along with Mira and Lisanna, getting the three to smile more.

"Why thank you." Mira told the pink haired Mage from Lamia Scale, always liking when people enjoyed her cooking.

"So anyway, that last reality was something. We got to see Marvell's friends again and we got to see Krograal and some of his friends too." Gray changed the topic, figuring they went over what they witnessed a short while ago before Observer finished setting a new link up.

"Yeah. They all seem rather… unique in their own way." Kagura responded from her seat at her table, finishing up the last of her own meal. She figured calling them unique was the politest way to put it.

"It was nice to see another version of Asuka too, all grown up and everything." Alzack told the others, happy to have seen another version of his and Bisca's kid despite the shortcomings such as her uncaringness to killing and the fact that she hung around with such idiotic and crazy people like Krograal, that Nixxiom undead guy and the rest.

"It sucks that the rest of us are dead in that reality. I know it's not the first time we heard or seen such a thing, but it still sucks." Gajeel replied, getting an annoyed look from recalling that detail that the other alternate older Asuka shared to Marvell's friends in that other Earthland.

"Yeah… I can't imagine what it must have been like for her loosing us." Wendy spoke softly with a frown on her face. Sure, that other and older version of the dark green haired girl seemed to have gotten over it since then, but the blue haired Sky Dragon Slayer couldn't help but feel sorrowful for her.

"At least she managed to move on, and she still remembers us." Romeo tried to see the brighter side of the whole thing, remembering how Asuka told the shifting women how she still believed that as long as she remembered them then they'll live on in her.

"Didn't she and the others mention about knowing different versions of us too?" Bickslow pointed out. The black and blue haired man remembering how they mentioned knowing different versions of the guild in other realities.

"They did. I wonder what they must be like?" Lucy pondered, placing a hand on her chin while she thought on it.

"Didn't Freddy mention a reality they knew where some of us were soldiers like 137-C? I remember him mentioning something of the sorts when we last saw him." Elfman recalled, though he found it unmanly that they didn't hear more about said reality from the Priest.

"Speaking of Freddy, where do you think he was at? He wasn't with the others in the last timeline." Evergreen questioned, since normally the black haired Priest was with Krograal regardless if he wanted to be there or not.

"Probably just back home in their Earthland." Juvia guessed, 'Though judging from what we've seen and heard, he probably preferred that.'

"Honestly, I'm wondering about that Ashura guy and this employer being that they mentioned. The fact that someone is simply gathering and hiring others like these Crom and Ashura guys to do who knows what is shady. What would they gain for doing that?" Marvell shared, more cautious on that information.

That got some others to also wonder the same thing. And of course there was about Ashura itself, who was he and what did he have to gain for working for whoever or whatever this employer entity was?

The noise of Observer finishing his link caught everyone's attention, getting them to fully turn away from their conversations to see the blue smoke preparing to show once again a new timeline to view. Observer took a few steps back and crossed his arms, prepared for what may appear before them to see.

"Guess we'll worry about that later." Erza told the others about the conversation they previously had; the red head shifting herself to better get a good look at the other timeline they were about to witness.

"Hoping it's a good one." Millianna hoped for something more fun and laid back like the last timeline and not something horrible or depressing.

With that, the blue smoke sizzled before showing them all another timeline once again like so many times before.

It was night out over the city of Magnolia, barely any activity out as the moonlight shined on the land below. Some clouds were out, but not enough to block out the lunar object in the sky above. The guild hall itself was barren, with everyone having returned to their respective homes for the night or were out on a job.

That said, not everything was asleep just yet.

In a sturdy house on the outskirt of the city, a certain white haired Animal-Take Over Magic user was seen sitting in the living room, sipping on a nice warm cup of tea. Her older brother and older sister were already asleep in their respective rooms upstairs, leaving the youngest of the Strauss siblings all to herself for the time being.

"Oh?" Lisanna widened her eyes a bit in surprise, not expecting to see a focus on her like this in her and her sibling's home.

"Hey Lisanna, it's you!" Happy exclaimed in a cheerful manner, getting the white haired woman to smile at the blue Exceed with her.

"Yes Happy, it is." She replied to him, her smile still on her face.

"Huh, wonder why we're focusing on her right now." Freed wondered out of curiosity.

"We might find out. Hopefully this isn't a boring reality we're seeing." Laxus told his green haired teammate, getting him to nod in agreement with the blonde Lighting Dragon Slayer.

Sighing after taking another sip of her tea, the white haired woman leaned backwards into her seat. Her body was feeling slightly sore due to the job she and her brother Elfman recently returned from, thus the nice warm tea to help ease some of it if only by a bit.

Blinking, she looked over to a table near the couch that held a lamp along with a couple of pictures. One of them included a picture of Natsu, her, Mira, Elfman and the rest of Team Natsu, which was taken after they all decided to go on a job together shortly after the whole thing with the Grand Magic Games and the dragon attack, a S-Class one with Erza and Mira watching over them. The thought of Natsu got a small frown to form on her face.

He's been acting… different lately, she noticed. Starting in the past month, he's seemed more… calmer perhaps? She didn't know if that was the right word, but he's noticeably acted more quieter and softer recently. Sure, he still partook in brawls and the like, but even then that fake annoyance he normally acts when fighting say Gray wasn't there anymore. Heck, when this started to happen, he happily called Gray by his name instead of an insult like he normally does! That nearly got everyone to gasp in shock from that admittingly, having to check if the pink haired young man was feeling alright. In fact, when it comes to such stuff he completely dropped the insults altogether.

That alone was odd, but Lisanna has noticed he has starting to hang around more with those he normally didn't compared to his team or her and her siblings. He would sit with Levy as she told him about a book she was currently reading with a content soft smile latching onto every world. He would take a few jobs with Romeo to give him some pointers and bond closer with the younger male who looked up to the Fire Dragon Slayer, remembering how Romeo would happily talk about what he and Natsu did on their jobs and what they would do afterwards sometimes. He's even hung around with Laxus and his team, even if then he was just listening to whatever Laxus, Freed, Evergreen or Bickslow would talk or rant about with that soft content look on his face. He would even have no issue when Gajeel sang, happily smiling along and seemingly genuinely enjoying it, which even shocked the Iron Dragon Slayer himself. And this isn't counting everyone else he had started to hang out more.

But most of all, something that Lisanna still can't sure if she's mistaken or not, but when seeing him do all of this… his smiles seemed sad, almost regretful in a way. Which didn't make sense, and yet that only grew her worries for him. She wasn't the only one who noticed it, as Mira, Lucy, Erza, Gray, and others have also realized how odd he was acting or catching those sorrowful smiles.

A few knocks on the front door snapped her out of her thoughts, drawing further confusion from the Animal-Take Over Mage.

"Huh, who could be here this late?" Lisanna muttered in confusion, leaning forward and placing her cup on the table before her. Getting onto her feet, she walked over towards the front door before opening it to see who it was.

To her surprise, she was met with a familiar face of a certain pink haired Fire Dragon Slayer who she was just thinking of previous. A small yet soft smile was on his face as he waved at her.

"Hey, there's me!" Natsu exclaimed, while Gajeel and Gray groaned.

"Lame!" Gajeel responded, getting a tick mark to form on the pink haired Fire Dragon Slayer's head while he turned to face the direction of the black haired male.

"Want to come over here and say that to my face Metal Face?!" Natsu shouted back, prepared to throw down with him.

"Who're you calling Metal Face Fire Breath?!" Gajeel shouted back with his own tick mark from the insult.

Everyone else only sighed or sweat dropped from this while Erza and Kagura sent a glare to both of them, a silent message for them to behave or else. The two froze from this, calming down but not before throwing each other the middle finger and a glare, while Gray shook his head from all of this.

"Huh, wonder what he's visiting for." Mira muttered with interest, curious as to what the other version of the Fire Dragon Slayer wanted to come to her house. Maybe just to chat?

"Natsu?" Lisanna questioned in surprise, not expecting to see the subject of her thoughts moments prior to show up. At this late at night to boot.

"Hey Lis, hope I'm not intruding." Natsu told her, his voice soft while he looked at her with a soft gaze, his smile still on his face.

"Oh, no nothing at all! Just was surprised that was all," Lisanna told him. The woman turned around to look inside before looking back at the pink haired young man, "Do you want to come in? Mira and Elfman are asleep but we can still talk no issue."

Natsu shook his head.

"No thanks, I won't be here too long." Natsu declined, but Lisanna took no offense to that.

"Oh, okay," Lisanna replied back to him, before looking at him especially, "So what did you need? Nothing's troubling you is there?" She asked with some concern in her voice and eyes.

It was just for a moment, but she noticed the flinch he had from her words, yet had no time to point that out as Natsu recovered quickly, back to his smile he had previously.

"Nah, nothing's bothering me, don't worry about that. I just… um…" Natsu trailed off, now looking like he was struggling to find the right words to say, something which only confuse yet worried Lisanna further. He mumbled something, which only brought more confusion to the white haired woman more.

"Natsu- EEP!" She was cut off when without warning Natsu reached out and pulled her into a hug. Naturally she wasn't expecting such an action as a blush developed on her cheeks from it all.

Seeing this got both Natsu and Lisanna to be surprised yet blushes also formed on their own cheeks from seeing the former hugging the latter in the other timeline. Mira and some of the other women merely glared at the Animal-Take Over Mage in jealousy while others only shook their heads from this, not finding such a thing surprising given what they've seen previously numerous times in these other timelines.

"Natsu?!" Lisanna stuttered in surprise, her blush still on her face.

"Lis," He hugged her harder, his expression softened as he took in everything of the woman he was holding at the moment, "Thank you."

That got her to blink, her confusion only growing as she shifted her gaze to look at Natsu, or as much as she could when he was hugging her like this. She didn't have time to fully respond as he continued, still hugging her.

"Thank you for… well… everything. Thank you for believing in me about Igneel when we were younger, thank you for being my friend all this time, you're… you're a wonderful person that I'm glad to have met." Natsu managed to finish, his smile softening further, yet an unknown emotion could also be had, not that Lisanna could see it due to their current position.

That got Natsu to be surprised by his own double's words, as did Lisanna. Though, everyone was also caught off guard by the words the alternate Natsu told the other Lisanna.

"Huh, that's rather… heartwarming." Mira admitted, though she was puzzled as to what got the other version of the Fire Dragon Slayer to speak such away.

"Yeah, but why is he doing this?" Gray asked the others with puzzlement, finding it to be out of nowhere, which was only met with equal confusion as they shrugged.

Makarov and Observer looked onward at the other timeline with their own confusion, yet it wasn't just because of the sudden thanks and praises that the alternate Natsu did. They didn't know why, and maybe they were looking too into it… but the way he was sounding as he spoke those words…

Why did it seem like as if he was saying goodbye?

Lisanna wouldn't lie, but her blush grew from that, not expecting to hear such nice and kind words from someone she considered her best friend. Yet her puzzlement and worry also grew.

"Natsu… where did this come from?" She asked him, with her hearing him letting out a soft chuckle from his mouth.

"Just… just feel like I don't show my appreciation enough is all. I wanted you to know that. You mean a lot to me Lisanna, I don't have the words to truly explain it. But I wanted you know that I meant every word of it." Natsu told her.

With that, he pulled away from her, which she would admit disappointed her. But she was more concern still at the moment with how he was behaving.

"Well… I won't keep you waiting from whatever you were doing. Good night, Lis." Natsu told her with the same smile that he had recently.

He turned around to leave, yet Lisanna found herself reaching out and grabbing him by one of his hands stopping him in his track. His eyes widened a bit in surprise, looking back to see Lisanna looking at him with concern still noticeable in her gaze.

"Natsu… are you sure you're alright? You've been acting different lately… are you sure nothing's bothering you?" Lisanna asked once more time to make sure.

That got many to grew more confused, though no one spoke as they remained eye glued to the blue smoke showing them all this. Acting different… acting different in what way?

Natsu only soften his gaze and smile from that, and unless her mind was playing tricks on her, it looked almost regretful, like the smiles she caught him having lately, which did little to ease her worry.

"I promise Lis, I'm okay. You don't have to worry about me." Natsu told her, yet Lisanna couldn't help but feel as if he was emitting something when speaking those words.

Still, she let him go as he waved at her rather slowly, his eyes taking a good look at her as if to make sure he remembered exactly what she looked like.

"Good night Lis." Natsu told her, and before she could even respond in time, he already took off away from her and her home.

Lisanna could only slowly wave bye at him, a look of worry and confusion still on her face.

"Good night…" Lisanna trailed off softly, simply watching as he disappeared in the distant. She didn't know why, but something told her that something was amiss, that she should go after him.

Yet she just stood there still, shaking her head from her thoughts.

"It's okay… he will be okay… I'll just talk to him tomorrow." Lisanna tried to convince herself, turning around to go back inside and closing the door behind her. It was late after all, so she should head for bed too. Natsu will be okay, he said he was okay, he wouldn't lie to her.

In the future, she would look back at this moment and lament over her inaction.

"…Is it me or does something seem off?" Natsu couldn't help but share his thoughts. He didn't know why, but he was getting a bad feeling about all of this. In what regard he didn't know, but something was plaguing his other self, but what he did not know.

"Yeah, something's not right." Gray agreed with his fire breathing rival, finding something unusual with the way the counterpart to his rival was acting. It left a sinking feeling in his gut.

It wasn't just him, but numerous others were feeling similar thoughts and feelings. Though like Natsu and Gray, they had no idea why they were feeling or thought this way. Others like Erza, Mira, Lucy, Milianna and the other women who have feelings for the Fire Dragon Slayer especially felt like something bad was going to happen, but to what degree they had no clue.

The scene changing in the blue smoke caught everyone's attention once again, getting them to refocus on the other timeline to see what would happen next.

Loud knocking on his window drew Gray's attention, the Ice Maker Mage slowly rising up from his bed while groaning from how the rest was about to fall asleep was interrupted. As more knocking could be heard, the dark blue haired man blinked in confusion and annoyance.

"What the-? Who in Fiore would that be?" Gray grumbled, still not fully awake since he was about to fall asleep before he was interrupting by whoever was knocking on his window like this. Seriously who knocks on people's windows at this time of night?

Getting up from his bed, he walked over to the window that was being knocked on to see who it was. His tiredness faded and utter confusion grew when the Ice Maker Mage it was none other than his fire breathing rival knocking on it.

"Flamebrain?" He muttered in puzzlement. What could he want at this hour? This wasn't like him one bit.

Figuring the only way to fix his confusion was to go to the source of it, he arrived at the window before opening it enough allowing him to probably see his rival's grin.

"Hey Gray. Not interrupting anything am I?" Natsu asked him, as Gray blinked in confusion from this.

"Uh… I was about to fall asleep before you came knocking." Gray informed him, narrowing his eyes when saying this since he wanted to go to sleep. That got Natsu to scratch the back of his head in embarrassment, his soft grin still on his face however.

"Sorry about that, I promise this will be quick." Natsu assured him. Gray stared at the pink haired male for a few more moments before he sighed.

"Alright, what is it?" He asked, leaning back onto the wall near the window.

Natsu didn't immediately answered, turning to look up at the bright moon sky above the city and the nearby sea.

"We fight a lot don't we?" He suddenly spoke, getting Gray's attention and causing more confusion.

"That's an understatement." Lucy stated looking at the two rivals with a deadpanned look on her face. The look merely got the two to look away and whistling innocently, which only got the blonde Celestial Mage to shake her head from this.

"Uh… yeah, I guess we do." Gray stated, still puzzled by how that has anything to do with what Natsu wanted or wanted to say.

"Yeah, but even when we do, we still friends and guildmates at the end of it. No matter how many insults we may shout, or how many times we fight, or how many times when you won't admit I'm better than you," That got Gray to chuckle in amusement, something that got Natsu's own smile to grow, "But even after all of that, we're still friends. We still care about each other. I can count on you to have my back and everyone else's when things get serious and intense."

Gray turned his head to see Natsu properly, his eyes still holding puzzlement about whatever Natsu was trying to say.

"…Okay Flamebrain, what's with you? You've been acting weird lately, and now you're doing this? You sure nothing's troubling you?" Gray asked with slight concern. It was hard to ignore how his rival's been behaving recently, the fact he calls him by his normal name normally now instead of his usual insults made the Ice Maker Mage think Natsu wasn't feeling well.

Natsu chuckled at this, turning his gaze away from the moon above to look back into Gray's window to see his rival once again.

"I'm okay, I promise you I am. I just…," Natsu crossed his arms and rested them on the windowsill, "I just wanted you to know that despite our disagreements and fights and all of that, you are my friend. You're one of the ones I trust the most in the guild… you're like a brother to me. I feel like I don't show that enough, so I wanted you know that. And I mean every word I say."

Everyone's eyes widened from hearing this in shock.

"Okay, there's definitely something wrong with this other version of Flamebrain since he would never admit that ever!" Gray exclaimed, knowing that he and himself were like that.

"Like how you wouldn't admit it?" Laki asked him with a raised eyebrow.

"Exactly-! No wait it's not like that!" Gray agreed before shouting realizing what he would be admitting. While it was true that he did indeed saw his rival as a brother, he would rather take on a hundred Erzas than ever admitting that for everyone to hear.

"Aw, they do care about each other!" Happy teased, getting both Natsu and Gray to grumbled that they did not with their arms crossed. This only got some to giggle or chuckle from their reaction, knowing that the two rivals did care about one another and would always have each other's back if it came down to it.

Gray was taken back by hearing this. He knew Natsu enough that he wouldn't lie about this, but he never thought that he would just admit it like that. Especially to him considering they were rivals. With that said, he still felt touched by Natsu's words saying that. A small smile of his own forming on his face, before it turned into a full grin.

"Thanks Flamebrain, that does mean a lot. Ugh now I'm going to sound sappy here…," Gray sighed from that as Natsu snickered, understanding that entirely before the Ice Maker Mage was able to find the words, "But uh… yeah, I feel the same. Sure your annoying, loud, annoying, refuse to admit I'm better than you," Now Natsu managed to chuckled from that, but Gray didn't mind it as he continued, "But you're a good friend. Like a brother to me. Don't tell anyone else however or else I'll kick your ass."

Natsu chuckled more from that, nodding to the Ice Maker Mage's words.

"Don't worry Gray, I'll take it to my grave," Natsu told him with his smile… for some reason something about that rubbed the Ice Maker Mage the wrong way, especially since his smile seemed… sad? Yet he didn't have time to say something about it as Natsu moved away from the windowsill before taking a couple steps back, "Okay, I'll let you get your beauty sleep. Good night Gray."

"Wait Fire Breath-!" Gray tried to stop him, but Natsu already took off further into the city instead to the forest where his and Happy's house was. The Ice Maker Mage leaned out of the window, his eyes on the retreating form of the pink haired Fire Dragon Slayer. Where was he going? Was he going to hit the hay at Lucy's or something?

A sinking feeling appeared in his gut. Something seemed off about all of this. Natsu wasn't the type to just appear at his house at night to just tell him things that he would rather keep to himself and fight Erza, Laxus and Gildarts all at once before ever admitting. And with how he's been acting recently…

He shook his head ridding those thoughts.

"I'm overthinking it. He'll be okay. I'll just keep a better eye out on him." Gray reasoned with himself, leaning back into his home and closed the window. He would worry about this in the morning once he gets some sleep, he ignored the sinking feeling in his gut, trying to convince himself that he was overreacting.

It was here where Gray in the future would look back and question why he didn't follow his feeling, wishing that he had did something.

"There he goes off again… is he going to visit everyone or something?" Bisca wondered, though the others had no clue if that was the case or not.

"Maybe he already visited some of us already? Or perhaps it's only to a selected few?" Droy guessed, though like the others he wasn't exactly sure himself of that being true or not.

"But why is he doing this? And the way he's acting and what he's saying… something has to be up here, but what?" Levy tried to figure it out, not sure what was prompting the other version of Natsu to do and say all these things.

Neither did anyone else, with everyone still lost and confused as to what was exactly happening or bothering the other alternate Fire Dragon Slayer. Many still had a sinking and bad feeling that something terrible was going to happen, yet they still had zero clue as to why they felt this way.

"Oh, it's showing my place now." Lucy spoke up, seeing the blue smoke shifting elsewhere in the other Magnolia, which got everyone's full attention who were lost in their own thoughts.

Lights still on all around the apartment, Lucy was sitting at her desk writing down in her still in progress book. The blonde Celestial Mage having her tongue sticked out as she was finishing up the latest chapter in her current work. A near empty cup of tea was nearby, helping her to stay relaxed and focused. She was close in finishing the current chapter, thus she wanted to wrap it up before she went to bed.

"Aaaaaaand done!" Lucy exclaimed as she finished writing in the book she was making. A grin on her face as she leaned back in her chair, breathing out a sigh of relief, "Finally, now it's closer to being done!"

"Oh, your book?"

"GAH!" Lucy shouted as she jumped up onto her feet and turned around towards her bed. She was met with a grinning Natsu climbing through the window to enter her apartment which she swore she locked to prevent such things. Even if said locks don't actually do anything to deter Natsu or anyone else from just breaking into her apartment one way or another.

Lucy shook her head from this, seeing how even with whatever was going on with the other Natsu he still had no issue in just entering her apartment without issue. Glancing over to her own Natsu who remained watching the other timeline, a small smile formed on her face. She wouldn't admit it to anyone else, but she grew to enjoy him coming over for whatever reason it may be, it would feel weird otherwise if he stopped doing such a thing.

"NATSU?! HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN THERE?!" Lucy screeched, getting Natsu to heartily laugh from that, but not in a mocking manner to be clear. Calming down, the pink haired young man figured he give her a proper answer.

"Hi Luce! I just showed up. Figured I'd swing by." Natsu told her, moving away from the window and off the bed to stand on the apartment floor. Lucy calmed down from that, only sighing as she pinched the bridge of her noise.

"You couldn't just knock on the door…?" Lucy grumbled, even though she knew it was pointless to ask such a thing. Putting her hand down from pinching the bridge of her noise, she looked back at the pink haired young man with a slight puzzled look, "So what are you doing here for? Usually Happy's with you if you two are going to stay the night."

Natsu chuckled at that, shaking his head slightly.

"Nah, Happy's already asleep back home. I won't be here long, I'd just… figured I'd come to see you for a bit." Natsu told her, a soft smile on his normally energetic face. The blonde frown from that, since she has noticed the Fire Dragon Slayer had been acting differently lately to her and the others' concern.

She didn't get a chance to ask or say anything about that however, as Natsu walked over towards her desk where her unfinished book was at. Picking it up slightly, he looked over to the Celestial Mage with his soft smile that he's been having lately.

"You've been making progress?" He asked her, getting her to snap out of her initial thoughts before smiling at the Fire Dragon Slayer.

"Yep! Managed to get another chapter done tonight. Still have a long way to go, but I think I'm making great process." Lucy stated with a proud smile and expression on her face. Natsu looked back at the book, his smile unchanging.

"You're going to be great Lucy, I've no doubt about that." Natsu told her while gently putting the book down gently. That got Lucy to lose her smile as a slight confuse and concern looked reformed on her face. Normally he would poke fun at her work like that, out of teasing and fun of course, but he's stopped doing that ever since… whatever's been up with him lately started. Even being invested in what story she was working on.

"Natsu, are you doing alright?" Lucy couldn't help but ask, barely catching the flinch he made before recovered quickly, his soft and smiling expression reforming as he looked back at her.

"Yeah, of course I am. Why?" Natsu asked her, smile and expression unchanging, not taking offense to her words. Lucy was about to answer and question it… before she decided otherwise. She would trust Natsu on this, since he didn't seem to want to talk about it. It hurt a bit Lucy wouldn't lie, but she would respect his privacy for now.

"Nothing, don't worry about it," Lucy told him before turning around towards the kitchen, preparing to head that way, "Do you want something to drink? I think I have something you'd- EH?!"

Lucy would be caught off guard when Natsu without warning hugged her from behind, causing the blonde to blush immensely from the sudden action. All while Natsu still had his soft smile on his face with his eyes closed.

Seeing this got both Natsu and Lucy to blush hard from witnessing the action the former's double did to the latter's counterpart. Some of the women sent a glare to the blonde Celestial Mage's way from seeing this, including Lisanna despite having a similar thing happen with her own counterpart earlier.

"Natsu?!" Lucy stuttered out in embarrassment, not expecting Natsu to do this.

"Thank you."

Hearing that suddenly got Lucy to grew slightly confused as she calmed down, all while Natsu didn't let go as he kept hugging her from behind, his head over her shoulder.

"Huh?" She found herself unintentionally letting out, yet that didn't seem to bother the Fire Dragon Slayer one bit.

"Thanks for being my friend. I… I don't know how I got so lucky know such an amazing person like you." Natsu managed to get out, his eyes opening slightly as he spoke those words midway through.

As touching as his words were, it only drew even more confusion from everyone else over how… heartfelt and open he was being in such a manner.

"Why is he being like this? As touching as it is, this isn't really like him." Jet asked, knowing that while Natsu obviously cared about them, he wouldn't be so… touchy. Maybe that wasn't the right word but the High Speed Magic user didn't know how else to describe what they were seeing.

"I don't know, but it's still touching to see." Marvell admitted to the orange haired man, though like the others she still thought that something was amiss. But she didn't know what exactly. With the way he's been acting and what he's been saying… it sounded like as if he was goodbye, 'But why? He's not leaving the guild… is he?'

No one else really had an answer, still lost and feeling like something was going to happen that would turn it all into a downward spiral. Natsu himself stayed silent; his eyes glued to his other double in the other timeline trying to figure out why his other self was acting such a way with worry in his eyes.

Lucy found herself blushing more from hearing that, feeling touched yet confusion and concern still filled her body.

"Natsu… where's this coming from?" Lucy managed to ask, as Natsu's expression relaxed from hearing this, his smile diminishing a little which didn't go unnoticed by the blonde.

"Nothing, I just… feel like I don't show my appreciation enough is all." Natsu told her in an almost whisper-like voice.

Letting go of her which Lucy wouldn't deny was disappointed by, the pink haired Dragon Slayer took a few steps back and grinned at her.

"I should get going. Have another stop that I need to go before heading in for the night. Good night, Luce." Natsu told her, backing up a bit before turning around and began to climb over her bed to get to the window.

Lucy managed to snap out of her slight daze from all of that, seeing Natsu already putting a leg out of the window. Not wanting to stay silent, she managed to take a couple steps forward and spoke up, a small smile of her own face.

"Good night Natsu, see you in the morning?" Lucy asked even though she figured that was obvious enough as it was.

Natsu froze from that, which didn't go unnoticed by the Celestial Mage which drew more puzzlement and worry. He turned his head to look at her, a small and soft smile he sent her way. Yet, like the smiles she has seen him having recently, it seemed… regretful in a way. The pink haired young man didn't say anything else, turning his head around before fully exiting the window, already taking off who knows where else into Magnolia.

Making her way to her window, Lucy looked out to see Natsu running off in the distance, quickly vanishing out of her sight. As she watched it happened, a frown formed on her face as that worried feeling only grew within her. Something had to be bothering him, he wasn't normally so… soft was the best way she could put it, so opened. Something was amiss.

She shook her head from those thoughts.

"I'm being overdramatic. I can talk to him tomorrow." Lucy convinced herself, even as her gut felt like it was twisting as it was screaming at her to go after Natsu, to do something, she pushed it down. She was just getting worked up over nothing. She can talk to Natsu tomorrow.

With that she leaned back in and closed the window, figuring it was best to head for bed herself now after finishing the latest chapter for her book.

She never thought that this would be the last night she would ever see or be touched by Natsu, with her in the future begging and wishing in tears to be taken back at this point in time if it meant preventing what will occur.

"Off he goes again…" Gajeel trailed off, seeing him heading to another direction. Unless he was wrong, he seemed to be heading towards where the guild was. Or perhaps somewhere nearby the hall.

"First Lisanna, then Gray, now Lucy. Who would he be seeing next? Erza or something?" Millianna guessed, not sure if she would be accurate or not. It would make sense to the brown haired cat-like woman, considering she and him were on the same team as the others mentioned besides Lisanna.

"Wouldn't surprise me. But I still can't figure out what exactly Natsu is trying to do or accomplish here." Laxus admitted. It didn't line up with how Natsu normally was or acted. Sure this was an alternate version of him they were dealing with, but from what they've been hearing and seeing this was out of character for this other Natsu.

"I hope this isn't leading something bad to happen…" Wendy trailed off, worry in her eyes. That bad feeling was still in her gut, yet she had no clue why she was feeling such a way. What could happen for her to feel like this?

"Me too." Romeo agreed with the blue haired Sky Dragon Slayer, while Chelia also nodded in agreement, both also having expressions of concern on their faces.

Their attention was quickly drawn back into the other timeline shown by the blue smoke, with a few widening their eyes from seeing the current scene and location.

"Huh, guess you were right Millianna." Erza told her friend from Mermaid Heel, seeing a familiar dorm room that belonged to the red head being shown in the other reality. Luckily nothing too much however to show anything potentially embarrassing.

In one of Fairy Hill's dorms, in the bedroom of a certain red head, the noise of pebbles being hit against the window near the red head's bed stirred the otherwise sleeping Erza from her slumber. After a few times of attempting to ignore the noise, the woman begrudgingly rose from her bed with her sheets and cover still on her. Groaning a bit, a slight agitated look formed on the woman's face.

"What is that noise…?" Erza grumbled, rubbing her eyes from her sleep being interrupted. Getting out of her bed wearing nothing but her white and pink colored sleep clothes that hugged her curvaceous form, she slowly walked over to the window to see what was going on. Whatever decided to wake her up was going to be in a world of hurt if it ends up being nothing serious.

Arriving to her window, she unlocked and opened it, looking outside and downward to see what the commotion that woke her up was.

Her tiredness vanished as confusion and slight alarm formed on her face when she saw Natsu down on the ground looking up at her with a grin on his face, waving happily at the red head up above due to her being on a higher floor.

"Natsu?" Erza was wide awake now, seeing the pink haired young man down below who kept looking up at her from his spot.

"Hey Erza! Mind if I come up there for a moment? I promise I'll be quick." Natsu told her, making sure not to be too loud in case he risks waking anyone else up despite the large building and how soundproof certain rooms can be.

Erza blinked from hearing that, not expecting such a request. Normally she wouldn't allow it considering no men were allowed in the Fairy Hill dorms. However, the fact Natsu of all people decided to show up at this time of night here where he normally didn't was alarming in itself. Especially considering how he's been acting lately much to her and everyone else's growing worry despite him assuring them otherwise.

Deciding to allow it, she looked down and nodded to him, getting him to smile at her from his spot.

"Great! Thanks Erza! I'll be right up." Natsu told her, with Erza taking a few steps back to leave room for the Fire Dragon Slayer to climb into the window and enter.

She didn't have to wait long as a few moments later Natsu set fire underneath his feet to launch him upwards to her window, latching onto the windowsills before climbing into the room. Landing onto his feet, he steadied himself as he walked more into the room letting Erza close the window for the time being. He didn't take a chance to look around the room before turning around to face the red head once again.

"Sorry about this, didn't mean to wake you up." Natsu apologized with a hand scratching behind his head in sheepish embarrassment. Despite this, Erza wasn't bothered as she gave him a smile of her own.

"It's fine. I'm assuming it's something important, is it? Is something troubling you that you need help with?" Erza asked with concern, her smile dropping when asking, wondering if his recent behavior was a reasoning for his sudden visit.

"Well… I wouldn't say that, but uh… crap I'm trying to find the right words here…" Natsu replied before devolving into slight muttering, looking lost in his thoughts on how to go on about this as he looked down with a hand on his chin.

"Natsu?" Erza asked with worry once more, seeing him struggling to find the right words for whatever he wanted to talk about or tell her. Eventually, he sighed before looking straight at her, black colored eyes meeting brown colored ones.

"I want to start by apologizing." He started, catching the woman completely off guard by his words.

That also caught everyone else off guard, not expecting that to be heard from the other version of the Fire Dragon Slayer. Erza herself was the most surprised, not quite sure what exactly what the other Natsu was referring to in regard to her double.

"Huh? Apologize? Apologize for what?" Chelia asked in puzzlement, not sure what the alternate Natsu was referring too. Did something happen in this other timeline specifically that he was referring too? Or did he mean in general? But if that's the case then what would that be?

"Guess we'll find out." Romeo replied to the Sky God Slayer, also puzzled since he didn't know what the other version of his idol would apologize for.

"Apologize?" Erza asked in complete confusion. What was he talking about? Natsu's eyes fell slightly as he placed a hand on the back of his head in slight nervousness.

"For uh… for a lot of things I suppose. For every time I would get on your nerves. For every time I would start a brawl and break a lot of things. For being destructive when out on jobs. I've been such a headache for you, for everyone else, and well… I guess I just now only realized it. For that, I'm sorry." Natsu told her, a frown on his face as he slightly bowed his head to the red head.

Many blinked in surprise from hearing this.

"What? Why would he apologize about any of that? That's basically all of Fairy Tail." Erza stated in confusion, while the bad feeling only got worse in her stomach about this whole thing. Sure, it got on her nerves, but being destructive and causing brawls was essentially a stable of the guild. The fact that the other Natsu also thought that he had been seen as a headache also didn't settle well with her at all. She turned to look at her own Natsu, whose gaze didn't leave the other timeline, 'You've never been a headache Natsu, I could never think of you like that.'

"Yeah, Gray and Gajeel break plenty of stuff too and cause headaches just as much." Happy stated with a frown which got the two mentioned Mages to gain tick marks on their foreheads.

"What's the supposed to mean?!" Gray and Gajeel shouted at the blue Exceed from the accusation… despite it being true but they would refuse to admit that.

Natsu wouldn't have poked fun at the two, but he was to focus on his counterpart in the other timeline to pay much attention to this. Hearing that got a frown to form on his face, lowering his head slightly as he fully processed what his double spoke.

'Huh, hearing all of that out loud… do I really cause that much trouble?' Natsu tore his gaze from the blue smoke, looking over everyone in the guild hall as his eyes softened and grew sadder, 'We're Fairy Tail, we always cause a ruckus, that's who we are. I'm no different… right?'

In that moment he was quickly reminded of the Earthland they've seen where Natsu had confessed and been rejected by the Mira of that world, remembering the things he screamed about himself when the other Lisanna tried to comfort him. Then he was reminded about who he was, the demon that he really was, which brought his mood down further, as he looked down at his own hands.

'But I am different… I'm not like everyone else here…' Natsu's mood only gotten worse from being reminded of that. However, he quickly shook his head from his thoughts, not wanting anyone to notice this while he refocused on the blue smoke showing the other timeline.

He was unaware of Observer raising an eyebrow in the Fire Dragon Slayer's direction, having notice how he seemed to act and the look of sadness on his face. Yet the Constellar choose not to say anything about it for now, refocusing on the other timeline himself.

Erza was caught off guard from that, not expecting to hear such things from the Fire Dragon Slayer. She also didn't like how he assumed that she thought of him as a headache for his antics, antics that everyone in the guild possessed.

"Natsu, there's nothing for you to apologize over. Everyone in the guild has caused some form of damage and destruction or start a brawl one way or another, that is not your fault. That is how Fairy Tail is," Erza told him, getting him to lift his eyes in slight surprise from hearing that. The red head walked over towards where he was to get closer while she continued, "And you've never been a headache to me Natsu. Yes there were times where it got on my nerves and upset me, but everyone has done that at some point or another. Remember how Mira and I used to act with one another when we were younger?"

Natsu slightly shivered from recalling that, remembering how Mira would use to rile up Erza whenever she could which resulted in them fighting. This got Erza to gain a soft smile. As she finished walking over towards the pink haired young man, she surprised him by pulling him into a hug of her own, her head over his shoulder while his was over hers.

"You've done nothing wrong Natsu, we all care for you. I care about you. It was you who would always stick up for me no matter the situation, it was you who saved me from the Tower. I… it's hard to put in exact words to how much you mean to me." Erza told him, glad for their current position so he couldn't see the blush that formed on her face from admitting that.

Because of their position, she couldn't see the flash of pain and regret that appeared on Natsu's face from hearing her words, getting him to take in heavier breathes to ease himself before he returned the hug back to the red head.

"Thanks Erza… I care for you too," Natsu told her, hugging her tighter which she wasn't expecting, yet didn't comment on it as Natsu went on with his words, "I don't have the words to truly express it, but you mean so much to me Erza. You have no idea how bright you have managed to make my life be… thank you for everything."

Erza blushed more from hearing those words from the young man… yet something about that also got her to grow concern. The way his voice shook slightly whether he noticed it or not, and the way he sounded too… that set off some alarm bells in her head. Pulling away from the hug to see his face, she couldn't' stop the look of concern on her own.

"Natsu… does this have anything to do with what's been happen lately? You trust me, don't you?" She asked in an uncharacteristic soft tone, taking one of Natsu's hands in her own. While surprise by the action and question, he managed to form another soft smile on his face.

"I do Erza. But I'm okay. I've honestly never felt more assured about that in my life. You don't have to worry about me." Natsu assured her, yet even then something about didn't sit right with the red head.

Still, she didn't try to push it as Natsu took his hand from her own, with him looking back to the window where he climbed into a few minutes ago.

"I should go, don't want to make Happy worry in case he wakes up." Natsu told her, looking back with a small grin on his face. Yet the odd feeling didn't fade from Erza, though she had no idea why.

'Don't let him leave,' Erza thought to herself, her eyes glued towards the blue smoke showing the other reality, specifically her double. The twisted feeling in her gut remained, believing that something was going to go wrong later on if her other self didn't stop Natsu from leaving, 'You've noticed it, you've said it yourself. Something's up with him. Don't let him leave. Don't let him go.'

She wasn't the only one who thought of something on a similar line, as numerous others felt like whatever sinking feelings they had would only going to get worse if the other version of Erza didn't stop the other version of Natsu from leaving.

Natsu already headed over towards the window and opened it, prepared to head out back to his house. Preparing himself to take off with hands on the windowsills, he turned around to face Erza one last time, making sure he got a good look at her as if he would see her for the last time. His soft smile remained, yet Erza knew something else was behind It, though she couldn't pinpoint what it was.

"Good night Erza, thank you again… for everything." Natsu spoke, with that last part being quieter, yet Erza was still able to hear it.

"Wait Natsu-." Erza tried to call out and stop him with a hand raised, yet Natsu already jumped out of the window, propelling fire from his feet to ensure he landed on the ground below safely.

Erza leaned out from her window to see him safely landing onto the ground below. The red head also saw him take off back towards what she was guessing back to his home considering his words about not wanting Happy to worry should the Exceed wake up. She remained in her spot watching him fade from her sight. Taking everything of how he's been acting, and with him coming this way to apologize and telling her how much he meant to her… she had a bad feeling about it all.

"Natsu…" She muttered with worry, wondering if she should go after him. Maybe try to get him to talk more.

In the end however, despite her concern and the sinking feeling, she pushed it all down. She would just talk to him tomorrow to hopefully get more answers. Even when something in her was telling her otherwise, to go after Natsu, she pushed it all down. She was just working herself up over nothing. Natsu told her he trusted her, so she would trust him.

Still, it didn't remove the frown she had before she leaned back into her bedroom from the window, closing it up and prepared to head back to bed. She tried to convince herself that it was okay, that nothing was going to happen, that Natsu would be okay.

The Erza in the future from now would look back at this moment, forever loathing herself for not listening to the bad feeling she had, for not listening to her gut the one thing that she should have taken action, wishing in tears to have Natsu in her arms again, to never let him go.

"There he goes again… back to his and Happy's house if he's telling the truth." Freed stated, figuring that there was nowhere else that Natsu wanted to visit, either that or he already visited others before Observer established the link to the other timeline.

"What do you think is going to happen?" Lisanna asked the others, still not sure what was prompting the other version of the lovable Fire Dragon Slayer to be so open about how he felt to them.

"I don't know, the only thing we can do is keep observing and see what happens." Kagura told the Animal-Take Over Mage. The dark purple haired woman only hoped that whatever bad feeling that she had about the whole thing was misplaced.

Eventually, their attention was redrawn back to the other timeline shown by the blue smoke, seeing the scene having shifted elsewhere.

In the small house in the forest outside of Magnolia, the front door could be seen opening as Natsu arrived, making sure to close the door gently as to not wake up the still sleeping Happy.

Speaking of the blue Exceed, the cat was curled up sleeping soundly with a smile on his face on Natsu's bed, letting out small snores every now and then. Making his way over to the sleeping Exceed, Natsu looked down at Happy, a small frown formed on the Fire Dragon Slayer's face.

Then, without making any other noises, he gently unwrapped his white scarf from his neck before gently placing it over Happy like a blanket. The blue Exceed unconsciously grabbing it and letting it cover him while he slept, still snoring in a rather adorable manner. Leaning down to him, Natsu couldn't stop the sniff he let out, trying to keep his emotions under control before gently placing a soft kiss on the Exceed's forehead.

"Goodbye Happy… forgive me…" He whispered to him, trying to keep his emotions under control as a few tears threatened to escape. There was one more thing left still for him to do as he made his way over to a desk near his bed.

If that wasn't a red flag for everyone, then they didn't know what would. Everyone's eyes widened from how emotional the other Natsu was getting, not to mention giving his beloved scarf from Igneel to the other sleeping Happy and saying goodbye.

"Goodbye? Why would be say that? And forgive him for what?" Happy asked from his spot near Lisanna, more concern and lost over the whole thing he was seeing from the other version of his adopted father.

No one had an answer, unsure of what was going on or what was Natsu referring too. That was, until Kinana widened her eyes as surprise and shock took hold of her expression.

"Is… is he leaving the guild?" The purple haired woman wondered out loud for all to hear.

That got everyone's eyes to widened as they turned to face the purple haired barmaid with shock from the idea.

"Leave Fairy Tail…?" Natsu whispered in shock. Was that what the other him was planning on doing? Was that why he was saying all those things to his friends? Was it because he was leaving the guild?

"What? Why on Earthland would he do that?" Marvell questioned with wide eyes of surprise of her own. To her, that didn't make a single shred of sense. For what reason could the other Natsu in this other reality have to want to leave his family behind?

"Natsu leaving the guild…?" Cana whispered from that. Already she didn't like that one bit. The idea of Natsu not being part of the guild, the Card Mage couldn't bear the idea of him ever doing that. Of Fairy Tail without him being around.

"Wait, then why would he leave his scarf with Happy? Even if that was the case why leave the scarf behind? You know how much that scarf means to him." Lucy pointed out, while Natsu subconsciously grabbed his own scarf from hearing the blonde Celestial Mage's words.

Nothing about this was making sense to anyone. If that was what Natsu was planning on doing, why leave his scarf, the only thing he had from Igneel, behind? Was he really going to leave it for them to have?

Their attention was drawn once more back to the other timeline, seeing the other version of Natsu doing something.

Arriving at the desk, Natsu looked through it before grabbing a single piece of paper that he had from it, along with a pen from the small desk too. Tears threatened to spill from his eyes, the pink haired young man made his way over to the table in the kitchen before sitting down. A soft yet sad smile on his face, he was able to keep his emotions under control as he wrote a simple message, short yet hopefully got what he wanted across.

"I love you all, always to the end."

From,

Natsu Dragneel

His smile didn't change, yet he felt his eyes watering more as he went over it to make sure it worked. Placing it down on the table, he slowly stood up, his mind and heart going fast for what was he was planning on doing, for what was going to happen.

He made his way to the front door once more; he turned around and looked around at his and Happy's abode. Seeing Happy still sleeping in his bed from his spot, more tears formed in his eyes as a few escaped and went down his cheeks, wanting one last look of his adopted son and their home. And then, Natsu turned around, opened the door, then exited the small wooden house closing the door behind him gently, leaving it all for the final time.

With that, he begun to walk away from the small home. Stopping for a moment, he turned around to get one last look at the small wooden house he had build so long ago… more tears spilling from his eyes before taking a deep breath. Then he turned around and bolted, knowing where to go now. Knowing what was coming.

Like before, everyone became surprised and shocked, none so than Natsu to see his double actually leaving his and Happy's home behind, leaving Happy behind… leaving Fairy Tail behind.

"He actually left?!" Gajeel shouted in total shock by seeing what he was seeing.

"But… why would he leave?" Romeo questioned, confusion and worry in his expression, unable to make sense of why Natsu seemed to actually leave his home and family behind.

"Wait, how come he didn't bring anything with him?" Freed spoke up, grabbing everyone's attention as they turned to face the green haired man, "If he was leaving the guild and Magnolia for somewhere, he surely would have brought at least some supplies with him. Yet he has nothing on him but his clothes. And he didn't remove his guild mark either. If he was truly planning on leaving Fairy Tail, wouldn't he have removed the guild mark too?"

That got everyone to think, realizing that Freed was correct. If he planned on going anywhere away from Magnolia, he would have brought at least a few supplies with him to support him for wherever he would go. And if he truly planned on simply leaving the guild behind, he would have removed the guild mark yet he didn't.

"None of this is making sense! If he's not actually leaving the guild, then where the f**k is he going?!" Marvell exclaimed in frustration. She hated not knowing what was going on, less so when she didn't even have a clue on why something was happening.

No one had an answer to that, yet the bad feeling everyone had only grew even more. The uncertainty of what the other Natsu was going or planning on doing leaving them all more lost then previously. Where did he plan on going? Why go to his friends and say all the things he did if he was saying goodbye?

"Wait, guys look!" Millianna exclaimed out, grabbing everyone's attention as they refocused on the blue smoke showing the other timeline, their eyes widening from the sight.

A small clearing from the trees that led to a cliff, far away from the city and forest. The sounds of the sea's waves below crashing and breaking into the sturdy earth formation. Down below, large spikes of rock and earth stuck out from the sea near the high above cliff. This was where Natsu found himself arriving as he slowed down his movements to a stop. He took in the sight, taking in the air around him with each breath he took.

This was it, he realized. Despite the tears in his eyes, despite how hard his heart was pounding for what he planned on doing, he felt… at ease. He felt calm, felt so sure than he has ever had in his whole life.

Natsu made his way over to the very edge slowly, each step he took he felt his heart beat harder and harder. His mind running fast, thoughts rushing in and out of his head as he arrived at his destination. Looking down, he saw how far the fall from where he was down to the seas and spiked formations down below. In any other situation, if he had his guard up and he fell down such a fall, while it would hurt and injure him greatly, he knew he would have survived.

But if he let his body relax… if he let his guard down…

He lifted his head up, eyes closed as tears spilled once more. Memories filled his mind, of all his friends and family, all the good and bad times he had with them… regret and sorrow filled his form, but in the end… he knew this was right. They were strong. They were amazing. He knew everyone would be okay. His only regret was that he wouldn't be there to keep growing with them, to be better, to see them truly become greater than they ever been, like a buddling flower blooming for the first time or a beautiful butterfly emerging from its cocoon.

He placed his right hand on his shoulder, acting like there was something there for him to place his hand over… like he wasn't alone in this. Like he wasn't alone for what he was about to do.

"Take care of me…" He whispered softly, as more tears went down his cheeks.

The realization of what was happening, of what he was about to go, immediately hit them all as every one of their hearts dropped in utter horror, their eyes widening and looks of shock and disbelief formed on their expressions.

"NO!" Natsu found himself standing to his feet without thinking on it, his face completely shocked and horrified as the color drained from his skin, as many others also found themselves doing the same thing, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! DON'T DO IT!"

"PLEASE, STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING!" Erza found herself also shouting in utter horror, when she saw what the other Natsu was going to do.

"THE F**K HE'S DOING?! WHY IS HE DOING THIS?!" Marvell also found herself on her feet shouting, her eyes filled with horror for what they were about to witness.

Shouts and yells from all over filled the guild all, despite the fact the other Natsu couldn't hear them, all that they could do was only watch in horror and fright, all while some continued shouting, screaming to no avail. Observer himself was surprised, realizing what the other Natsu was about to as well… and all he felt was sorrow for the mortal in the other reality.

Natsu looked down from the edge of the cliff once more, seeing the sea and spiked earth formations once more. He then lifted his head up once again closing his eyes, allowing his thoughts… his final thoughts be of everyone he has ever met, of his friends and family and their smiles and joy. Even knowing what was about to happen, he couldn't stop the small smile on his face while tears went down his cheeks.

"Goodbye."

With that, he took his last steps… and let himself fall.

"NO!" Natsu shouted out, not realizing as tears went down his own face as his arm reached out in vain from seeing what he was seeing. Everyone else froze with wide horrified and shocked expressions from what they were seeing.

But then, catching many off guard, the connection to the timeline was cut, leaving the blue smoke blank once more before any of them could see the… result of the other Fire Dragon Slayer's fall. That got some to turn to see Observer with his arm stretched out, a look of something resembling sorrow on the living constellation's face. He refused to let them all endure seeing the alternate Natsu succeed in the taking of his own life.

Natsu however only kept on staring at the blue smoke, tears going down his face as he fell to his knees. His body shaking greatly, his emotions overwhelming him from seeing the suicide of his double.

"W… Why… Why would he…?" Natsu couldn't barely get out, more sobs escaping from his mouth unable to handle it.

"NATSU!" Lisanna shouted in worry, rushing over and getting onto her knees hugging the heartbroken and shaken pink haired young man with all she had despite the tears in her own eyes.

She wasn't alone as Lucy, Millianna, Laki, Kinana, Mira, Erza, Cana and Kagura immediately rushing over to the pink haired Mage also, bringing him into a hug as he cried, unable to control himself as he continued to shake, even as he was in the arms of loved ones who all had some form of sorrow and tears in their own eyes. Happy also flew over, clutching onto Natsu's head with everything he had as the blue Exceed also was also shedding tears.

Everyone else remained frozen, trying to process what they had just seen. Juvia looked over to the sobbing Fire Dragon Slayer, her heart aching for what he must be feeling seeing another him taking his own life. That was something no one should have had to see. For it to happen to him… the Water Mage only wished she could elevate the pain in some way, to help him. But what could she do?

Gray also look over to his sobbing rival who remained wrapped in comfort by the women around him. He… he didn't know what to think. No one should have had to see such a thing. It was one thing to see another version of oneself dying to a vile villain or monster or dying from sacrificing themselves to save others. It was another thing to see another you take their own life by their own hands.

Marvell stayed frozen; her eyes widened as she remained looking at the now blank blue smoke. She has seen numerous realities, different Earthland seeing all sorts of different versions of the Fire Dragon Slayer. But never has she seen such a thing like this before. Sure, she has seen Natsus who were down or sadden in some degree, but never she had seen or met one who was suicidal, or heard of one that had unfortunately succeeding in taking their own life. To see a version of the man that she loved, even if it wasn't her Natsu take his own life… she felt cold.

Makarov himself look over to Natsu, his heart aching from seeing one his children having to witness such a horrible thing transpire before them all.

'He just watch another him take his own life… no child of mine should have had to see such a thing.' The small old man thought, the Guild Master trying to keep his own emotions under control.

Observer watched all of this with silence and a frown… it was best to give them a moment before they continued, if they desired to do so that was.

…Uh… so that was a downer.

I apologize again if it all sucked, since stuff like this I suck at. But I've been wanted to do something like this for a long while now, even if I didn't do a good job. I realize I tend to be cruel to my favorite characters like Natsu for example, not sure why I like to do it. But it was different, and a different direction compared to the more light hearten and silliness of the last reality.

Like I said, I suck at this type of stuff, even more when it comes to comfort. Both in story and in real life. There are those out there who always smile and seem like their happy, like they are content with what's around them, with many thinking that nothing could happen to them… only to be proven wrong in the worst way possible. I don't know if anyone is going through anything or knows someone that's going through something bad. But if by chance that's happening, just know that there are people out there who do care about you, your friends or family, you're not alone. Mushy and cliché I know, but something as simple as that can mean the world to some people.

Like I mentioned, this type of stuff I'm not the best at, since I'm someone who when it comes to using such subjects in fiction or seeing it not minding it as much or handle it a lot better, even going so far to finding dark humor in such a thing in stories, shows and whatnot. But I know not everyone is like me who can easily shrug such things off, or maybe that says more about something being wrong with me. Wouldn't be surprised if that's the case.

Anyway, I'll stop rambling since I'm sure none of you care. What did you all think? Good? Bad? Find it more cringeworthy than usual? Let me know.

See you all next time, whenever that will be.

I just wanna say goodbye, disappear with no one knowing
I don't wanna live this lie, smiling to the world unknowing
I don't want you to try, you've done enough to keep me going
I'll be fine, I'll be fine, I'll be fine for the very last time
