Writing the letter to Eddie's parents was one of the most difficult things I've ever done. Father Mulcahy and Colonel Potter were a huge help but the letter and the money I received from Eddie's parents really bothered me. Didn't they know how much this money would help them? That their son, who was taken from them so unfairly, wanted them to have it. Luckily Colonel Potter and Margaret put it to good use and Klinger's life was spared. I hope that Eddie would be happy. Heck, wherever he is, I hope he's happy anyway. God knows he's earned it.
