A/N: and here i am again with another chapter with the help form HowInMadeHowie. Luckily he does help me, or else this chapter would have oozed with mistakes. German grammar is just so different to english.

Thanks to you readers once again for liking this story so far. Have fun and be safe

Harry soon found himself in the headmaster's office where Letho and Dumbledore talked with each other about what would have to be done. "Thank you for coming, Mr. Letho. As I am sure that Mr. Geralt had told you, we have a basilisk down in the Chamber of Secrets and we did not know until now where the entrance to the Chamber was. I hope that we can go to the place where I think the entrance is hidden that we need to open. But everything I tried was futile to open it in the room inside the castle, so I wanted to try the possibility that we need someone who spoke Parseltongue, and as it happens Harry can speak with snakes. Maybe you know some more information that we can use later?" Dumbledore folded his hands together on his desk, while Letho leaned on a pillar as did not want to sit on a chair in a place he did not know.

"Yes, I may have something for you. In my training to become a Witcher, we had some reading material about basilisks and how you could bind it to your will after it was born. Some books even said that they would follow all of one's blood that it was bound to, so any magical binding can be ignored. But it is true that a Parselmouth would be immune to the deathly gaze of this monster, so if what I heard about the boy is true, he would be our best bet to kill this thing as I do not have the time to do it myself. To be honest, if your school was not on my way to my next contract, I would have ignored Geralt's letter and walked towards my target. Now, time is of the essence, so let's do this." Letho pushed himself away from the pillar and walked towards the door as Dumbledore walked around his desk and signaled for Harry to follow them. Harry told Callie that she should contact Commander Palmer to meet them after she had finished her run with Hermione.

Callie looked at him with an exasperated look in his glasses "Really Harry? Did you not think that I had done that already when we arrived in Dumbledore's office? Granted I work on a different logic framework then the rest of the magical society, but for you having the idea itself shows that not all hope is lost." Callie puffed her cheeks up in the HUD in Harry's glasses after she finished her tirade. She even changed the view angle so Harry could see her whole body, as she crossed her arms over her chest and turned her head away. Harry smiled at the behavior from his partner, showing that she was behaving like a girl his age would do and giving him this way some lessons on how to talk with them so he would not anger them. As this could be bad, he saw once when Auntie Yen threw multiple fireballs after Geralt after he made a joke about her showing her age lately. But Harry had to admit, those few gray hairs vanished quicker than the fire had left Yen's hand.

As Harry walked down the stairs towards the girl's bathroom with Letho and Dumbledore, he was thinking about what he could learn from the seasoned Warrior that was surely almost as strong as John was. He also was thinking if he should wear his armor to the lessons Letho wanted to put him through and already planned to go into John's office to put it on, when the Palmer came into view standing in place where Mrs. Norris was petrified. She was also in her armor, causing Letho to scoff at the women for using such an amount of protection.

"In this thing you will not last even a minute against this monster. Now let's move on, we burn time that we could use for training." Letho leaned against the wall opposite from the door to the girl's bathroom and crossed his arms over his broad chest. He also closed his eyes and Harry noticed that he twitched to different sounds, so he had to listen if something strange would sneak around.

Dumbledore opened the door and let Harry and Commander Palmer into the bathroom and introduced the ghost that haunts this bathroom. "Ms. Warren, these two people are Mr. Potter and Ms. Palmer, could you please tell them what you told me a few weeks back so we can find the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets?" The ghost turned around at Dumbledore's voice and looked at the other two people. She scrunched her nose when she saw Palmer in her armor, floating up so her face was at the same height as Palmer's face was although the ghost couldn't see Palmer's face through her golden visor. "So, you also are from the same place as the Chief Wulf? Honestly, he just ignores me when I float past him, as he would not be afraid of anything in this castle. Now seeing you, I understand that it has something to do with where you all come from." Looking at Harry after she had talked with the Commander, Myrtle recoiled back a bit and asked Harry why he was a Witcher at such a young age. Myrtle glanced towards the door as if she was seeing through it; as Letho stood outside and waited for them to come back out the bathroom, Myrtle could not feel that there were two Witchers now.

Harry nodded in understanding. "Ah, so you feel that my magic is different just like the house elves can sense it. If all the ghosts in this castle can do that, that would mean that they have decided to leave me alone since the beginning of the last term on this matter. I must remind myself to thank our house ghost that he kept it to himself and not tell the prefects what I had gone through over the summer. Now Ms. Warren? Care to tell us what the headmaster asked you to tell us?" Harry tried with his voice to calm the ghost down that died here in this bathroom. It seemed to work, as her face relaxed and she began to speak about how she had died. When she had pointed to the sink where she saw those yellow eyes, Harry walked there and looked at it. He soon found the snake carved on the side from the faucet and was thinking how Salazar Slytherin would have secured it so only he and his descendants could open it. Callie then played her recording from the small incident in the first meeting of the dueling club last term, where Hermione had explained to him that Salazar Slytherin was also called Serpent tongue because he could also speak with snakes. Harry tried to imagine that he would speak to Cindy and began to hiss. *Open the entrance.*

Dumbledore heard Harry hiss at the sink where he had tried every spell he knew, but as he had not thought about that obvious solution for this problem, he would have to think about how he should reward Harry later. Because giving him any kind of recognition that the rest of the school would notice, Dumbledore was sure that the Ministry would soon stand in the front door and demand for him to explain why this was even necessary. He then thought about the basilisk and how slaying such a beast would come to light either way, so he would need a plan to calm the storm of questions from every reporter alive. When the entrance opened to a giant hole, Commander Palmer pushed Harry aside and looked down the hole while putting her sensors to use.

"It seems this pipe goes down at least half a mile, as I can only see a bend down there. Now as a rope only goes as far as it could, we need to think of a way to climb down there." Palmer stepped back from the pipe and let Harry step up again, as he had told her that he had another idea as using a rope.

*Come forth stairs* Harry did not know why he was talking like that, but something in his instinct made him do it. To his surprise, stairs appeared on the floor descending into the dark pipe and it looked like they were safe enough to walk down. Harry turned around and opened the door, telling Letho that he should come too so they could investigate the staircase to see what they are working with down there. Now walking down the stairs in the pipe, Myrtle floated next to them in wonder, as she never had seen this pipe while haunting the bathroom's.

When they arrived at the exit of the pipe, Dumbledore lit his wand so he could see what was on the ground before him. When he saw that Harry did not make the same move, he was once again surprised on how versatile Witchers are in an environment like this. Both of the Witchers present walked through all the littered bones on the ground as they could see like it was normal here. When Dumbledore then looked over to Palmer and her looking around the cave that stretched in front of them, he was marveled about the technology a Muggle could use to see things that a wizard would need a spell or an enchanted object for. He would ask Doctor Halsey later through a letter if he could receive similar glasses as Harry had, thinking that it could do something similar as the helmet the Chief or the Commander use. If he even could convince her to make it happen that he could then also communicate with the AIs partnered with Harry and John for safety reasons, he could use their processing power for a good cause when the talks about this tournament in a few years would yield some results. Ms. Warren then told them that she would wait in the bathroom and floated back up.

Letho lifted his hand, signaling the others to stop. He then pulled his silver sword out of his sheath, an action that prompted Harry to pull his sword out of his pocket and made it into a dagger that he held in a reverse grip. Letho noticed the changing of the small knife, nodding approvingly. "Nice trick, I just hope you can also change it into a real sword, because I think I saw something ahead of us. If it is the Basilisk, you two would be in danger so you stay here. You boy, just walk behind me and watch my back." When he was moving further in, he told the other two adults that he would call them when it was safe. Turning around the small bend, they found a shed skin from a big snake lying on the floor. "Ah, there we have something I can work with. Looking at the size and the age from this skin, I would say that this basilisk is around a thousand years old. It must be in a magical hibernation, or else the forest outside would be devoid of any life, just as this castle would also be a ruin. I will call the headmaster and the lady here, go look for another door but do not open it. We are not prepared to fight this thing just yet. But after today's lesson and maybe a potion or two that will be enough." Letho turned around and walked the small distance back, while Harry was looking at the skin and where the monster that had shed it was coming from. He soon found a round door decorated with snakes around it. He felt like these snakes were looking at him and judging him, but he did not open it. Somehow, he knew how to do it, but that also meant that he had a suspicion that the chamber was just behind it.

Harry walked back to the shed skin where the adults were looking at it. Commander Palmer was taking pictures with her helmet for her report and to show the Master Chief what they had found. After they had looked at all the evidence that it was really a basilisk that would wait for Harry on the other side of the door further in the cave, they walked back to the pipe. As the stairs were still there, they climbed them back up where Myrtle was waiting for them.

"Did you find it? Is it already dead?" She floated towards Harry, who blinked that she had seemingly chosen him to ask.

"No, it is still down there, but we think it is in a magical induced sleep until it is called. So as long as we stay away from the chamber, it would not come back. But as we cannot be sure enough about this, I will now learn some tricks from Letho and then wait until the Master Chief will be back. Nothing against you Ms. Palmer, but Uncle John gave me the Marine -armor and I am sure that he also wants to be here just in case." Harry explained his plans, while Letho nodded at the simplicity of it. Commander Palmer said that she could understand Harry's reasoning, but she would stay until this big monster would be slain, as two or more warriors would be better than just one.

Later that day, Harry walked into the Great Hall for dinner with a small stagger to his step. The training with Letho was harsher than he had thought at first.

Flashback

Letho did not want to use wooden swords to train, as this could give Harry a false sense of security. As well that would give Harry the proficiency using his sword even in a situation where he would be attacked, Letho also made him change his sword all the time when he attacked Harry from different distances with his sword or his Igni-Sign. He even shot a crossbow at Harry, causing Harry to use another Witcher sign, Quen, to shield himself. Letho had been wondering why Harry did not use this sooner, as the empty classroom had even been sealed by the headmaster himself, so they could train this technique without being disturbed. But as Harry was still learning these signs, he was not sure if he could repeat it successfully when he would need it and still did exercise them when he was alone on the obstacle courses. Luckily Callie always told him when someone was getting close enough to see what he was doing.

Flashback end

When he sat down at the table with a small groan, Hermione looked up from her book that she had placed on her pitcher full of pumpkin juice. Noticing that Harry was more worn out than usual, she asked him what was going on. "Showing this guest around the castle could not have been this stressful, surely? You look like you were hit by a train to be honest. And why did you skip breakfast and lunch today?" She had asked Harry why he was so late after bringing the other Witcher to the headmaster, to which Harry had told her that the headmaster had asked him to show Letho the rest of the castle and that lunch was brought to them. On the question why this needed the whole day, Harry begrudgingly admitted that Letho had tested his abilities, but he kept the real reason for it to himself. Remembering her reaction when he had told her that he had gone through the mutations needed to become a Witcher himself, he left the detail unspoken that they were down at the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets. Harry knew she would just get angry again and would try to convince him to stay behind and let the adults handle the situation. Hermione was still convinced that they should just ask a parselmouth from India to handle the basilisk.

The students heard a sound from the entrance to the Great Hall, as Letho walked in with Hagrid talking about something. When they all turned around, the students began to murmur with each other as Letho still carried his swords on his back and some vials strapped around his torso with unknown potions inside of them. Harry could clearly hear some suspecting that Letho was a Witcher, as his eyes were also the same as every other Witcher has. Harry looked for those students that could identify Letho as such, noticing that Callie had information about them, and they were all from pureblood families. So, the stories about the Witchers were still told in those families, but he also noticed that some of those students looked puzzled, as if they were thinking that it was just that, a story. Now Harry was glad that they had decided to hide his eyes, he did not dare to think what would have happened when the school found out about him being one of them. Now he also understood why he had to keep it quiet, because they were for sure some children of Death Eaters that had escaped prosecution.

As Letho was a guest of the headmaster, at least unofficially, he could eat at the same table as the staff did. Letho heard all the murmurs thanks to his hearing on why a Witcher was here for a visit, but he ignored the small titbits that the students would think for a reason. One conversation piqued his interest though, as a blond-haired boy sitting on the table where the students wore green was talking with two boys and a girl about how he had to write his father about Letho being here. He thought that "dirty Witcher" was aimed at him, as the fact that Harry was one too was kept as a secret except the headmaster and his deputy, that was at least written in the letter that Geralt had sent him. Letho ignored the jab against his kind, as he was used to it. He grabbed some meat from the serving plate and placed it on his own before him. 'If that boy thinks I am such a dirty man, I would like to know what he wants to write to his father after he would know what my title is. But for the sake of surprising him, I will just let my name be known around here and then see what it still carries inside the wizarding community. But I am sure that this man would not like to read a report about the numbers we Witchers still can muster.'

Just as dinner was about to be finished by the students, the door opened once again and a man in green armor came into the Great Hall. On his chest was the number 117 stamped, telling everyone that Chief Wulf was back in the castle. The rest of the Gryffindor table was cheering for the big man being back, as their house was the most active in the personal exercises classes each weekend. John just nodded towards them and walked to the staff table to the other teachers. "Headmaster, thank you for giving me the time to take care of my family business. Ms. Palmer, I take it that you had no problem taking over my duties in this school? You can give me the report after we meet back in my office, of which I am sure you had taken residence during your stay." He then took another seat at the table to eat something, the house-elves providing something small for him as the others had already finished their desserts.

Harry got a ping from Cortana, asking him and Callie about a report from their end, so John could get his bearings again on what had happened. Callie sent her the report she had asked for, also highlighting the parts about the size of the snake that was down in the chambers according to the shed skin they had found. Cortana thanked her sister, saying that she would speak with John about when they would send Harry down to the chamber to take care of the snake. Harry then noticed how Triss was looking at John, telling Cortana with a grin that she would have to wait if what he could read in Triss's body language was any indication. Cortana made a show of turning around in his glasses, so it looked like she really stood beside him and sighed tiredly. "You cannot imagine how his biological data was everywhere while we were away from Harry. It is like a young boy seeing a naked woman for the first time. Granted, he was under those hormone suppressants for a long time, so it took almost as long to get rid of all its traces. But having seen his girlfriend after these few weeks did cause him to get so red on his face that we can be glad that he has his helmet on right now. Luckily, I could counteract all the signs on his face when he took his helmet off, so the students would not have another subject to gossip about. Callie, if you do not mind can I share a space with you on your matrix? I want to give those two lovebirds as much privacy as I can."

Just as she had asked her sister this, Cortana got a message from John, telling her that she should tell Harry to come into his office tomorrow, they would take care of the basilisk the next day. Seemingly John had some concern about Lucius Malfoy trying to take advantage of this situation and having the threat removed would take the wind out of his sails. Harry thanked her and then stood up, giving Hermione and Ron the sign to do the same apparently. Neville walked behind them after telling Hannah Abbott to have a good night's sleep.

As the group of Gryffindors exited the Great Hall they noticed Crabbe and Goyle backing away from Malfoy as the blonde Slytherin was looking up at an imposing figure of Letho looking down on him. Letho saw the fear in the boy's eyes realizing he may have been overheard. "Ah, so you finally caught on that I heard you speaking about the 'dirty Witcher', eh?" Letho leaned forward and looked Malfoy directly in the eyes to make sure his message was understood. "You want to be sure that you got my name correctly, boy. I'm not just some 'dirty Witcher'. I am Letho, the Kingslayer from the school of the viper. Your father would do well to remember who I am as I am not someone you want to cross." Malfoy paled when he realized who this man was as he had heard his father tell stories of the Kingslayer.

In Kear Mohen, Doctor Halsey received a message from Captain Lasky asking her if she could analyze this surveillance footage from the Ministry of Magic. Catherine asked herself why the Captain did not ask the ONI on board the Infinity, but placed the clip through the analytic subroutine from her own AI. The results from Kalmyia were quickly available, getting Catherine angry after reading through it. "So, Mr. Malfoy really plans to make it impossible for orphaned children to enjoy their childhood if they were the heir of a high ranking house in the wizarding world? Kalmyia, prepare a letter to be sent to the chief of the goblin nation, Ragnok. Me and Yen would need to talk with him as soon as possible. I will talk with her about what other steps we may need to take." Catherine stood up from her chair and walked out of her laboratory, knowing full well that the sorceress in question would rather fry the balls of Mr. Malfoy instead of playing the political game, but to defeat a man like him you need to beat him in his own turf. Catherine was already thinking of some strategies they could use, but Yen would need to make a public statement for it to work.

The next morning, after Harry had his morning run with Hermione, John and Commander Palmer, Harry walked with John to his office to prepare for his fight with the basilisk. Letho had already left the school, but he also had left some thunder potion for Harry to enhance his strength before the fight. Harry had to think of another excuse for Hermione to believe, but he had somehow made it work.

After putting on the armor and giving Callie's matrix to Triss so the sorceress could see what was going on in the chamber, John walked in front of the small group while Palmer, who had stayed until this mission was finished, walked in the rear guard. When they had arrived in front of the girl's bathroom where they had found the entrance to the chamber, Dumbledore was waiting for them there Tom Riddle's diary already in hand. "Good morning to you all. I had a small discussion with whatever lives in this diary, asking it how to call the basilisk. He was reluctant to give me this information, so I had to take some drastic measures to read the mind of the soul shard stored in the diary. So, Harry, I can give you the information that as soon as you stand in front of the statue of Salazar Slytherin, just call for it in parseltongue and it will appear. I wish you luck and hope that you survive it." Harry thanked the headmaster and took the diary from him, placing it inside a compartment of his armor. Harry also placed his pistol to his hip, just in case he could need it. With the sword in its dagger form on his thigh and a small stone from Triss, that could emit a bright light that could hopefully blind the basilisk long enough. She explained to him that he just needed to shatter it for it to activate, preferably right in front of the basilisk's face. A strong enough throw or stomping on it would be enough. Harry thought that he was now ready and opened the door to the bathroom.

Myrtle was waiting for them inside the bathroom with a sad look on her face, hoping that the young boy really could win this battle ahead of him. When Harry walked in with his armor, she brightened up a bit now seeing him in a different light. His confidence in his ability was now so great that she could feel it that he would make sure that it would be him returning from the chamber through the pipe.

Harry hissed the hidden entrance to appear and called for the stairs again, Harry, Triss and John walked down and soon stood in front of the entrance that Harry did not open the day before.

"Harry, I know I do not have to tell you this, but you must concentrate on the battle ahead. Callie will tell us if something should go wrong and then we will open the chamber with Cortana playing a recording of you speaking the language. Lets just hope that it would not need a witch or wizard to speak it, else we will have to use explosives, so as soon as Callie tells you to hide, just do it. Just make sure that you take out the eyes of the basilisk beforehand." John took his assault rifle from his back, checking the ammo counter and his reserve magazines to make sure that he was fully equipped. Harry did something similar with his pistol, turning afterwards towards the entrance and told it to open in parseltongue. The snakes, that were there for decoration, coiled back and allowed the entrance to reveal itself. Stepping through, Harry closed the entrance behind him, making sure that it was closed for good so the basilisk would not escape before Harry could fight it.

Stepping up to the statue of Salazar Slytherin, he looked up at the empty eyes of the statue and took in a deep breath, before he begun to hiss *Come forth, mighty basilisk and listen to my command, as I am the heir of Slytherin.*
