Holding the little girl in his arms, Klinger couldn't help becoming emotional. He wanted a son and someday he hoped that he'd have one. But as he told Major Houlihan and the others, he could definitely learn to love a little girl. Boys loved baseball, but why couldn't girls? He'd teach her to love the Toledo Mud Hens and take her to all of the places in Toledo, Ohio that he loved so much. Such a shame that this little baby had arrived at the 4077 without any parents at all. Letting her go was the most difficult thing for all of them.
