Zim pressed down the button and contacted his squad mates. "Tenn! Olfa! Skoodge! Can you hear me?", he said into the microphone.
"Zim? Is that you?", Skoodge's voice came over the feed.
"Oh, thank God! Look, I need your ship so I can kill the Tallests," the captain explained quickly.
"We'll be there as soon as possible," the short Irken told him. "But, we're a bit tied up, you might wanna find your own ship." In the background he could hear blaster fire and yelling, they were fighting.
"Understood," the tall Irken nodded, forcing the lump in his throat down. "I'll contact you if we've found a ship."
"Affirmative," Skoodge replied.
"Zim, signing off," the captain said.
"Skoodge, signing off," the short Irken repeated. "Hurry we have to-!", then the feed went dark.
Zim felt his eyes become watery, but he squeezed them shut to prevent the forming tears from falling. He breathed in deeply and exhaled slowly, forcing himself to be strong. He stood up and walked out of the ship to see his beloved Gaz with a smirk on her face, Dib and Gir were standing beside her, the robot back to his normal form.
"So, we got ourselves a ride?", she asked.
"No, we have to find our own," Zim explained. "Tenn, Olfa, and Skoodge are held up at the moment. They won't be able to make it."
"Then how the hell are we gonna get up there!?", Dib exclaimed.
"Like Zim said, we find our own ship," Gaz slapped her brother in the back of the head.
"Ow!", the paranormal investigator whined.
"Gir, I need you to scan the surrounding area for espino energy signatures," the captain ordered his S.I.R. unit.
"Yes, my master!", Gir saluted. The robots eyes glowed white as a white beam came from then, scanning the area as he head twisted. "I have located an energy source, that way!", he pointed behind Zim.
"Then, let's go," the Irken told them.
They then began to sneak through the rows of ships until they saw the stealth ships, they were perched on their own platforms and their were many guards. Zim looked at them, steeling himself.
"Protect me while I hack into one of the ships," the captain ordered.
"Got it," Gaz nodded seriously.
Zim snuck around until he was right next to one of the ships, he met eyes with his team and nodded. They leapt out of hiding and throughly distracted the enemy Irkens. The captain quickly entered the stealth ship and started to hack. His eyes widened and he breathed out, "this is going to be way more complicated than I thought."
Outside of the ship, Gir transformed back into the wolf-like creature and he began to ravage the Irkens. He let out a loud roar and slammed his large paws down onto two Irkens, he then proceeded to dig his claws into them and slice their chests open. He leapt off of the bodies and grabbed an Irken and tossed him into two other Irkens, he then ripped their heads off and ate them with a smile on his face.
Gaz pulled out her blaster and nonchalantly shot two Irkens in the chest, she then kicked one rushing at her in the stomach. He fell over in pain and she shot him in the head, she then quickly aimed the blaster at another one and killed him easily. One came rushing at her and she leapt onto his shoulders and tossed him to the ground, shooting him in the head. She jumped up and dusted herself off before shooting an Irken behind her.
"I'm way to good at this," the violent woman smirked, blowing off the barrel of the blaster.
Dib grabbed an Irken by the arm and broke it over his knee, the Irken screamed in pain as he stumbled back. The human then proceeded to punch him in the face and use a pistol to shoot him in the head. A Irken rushed him and he shot her in the chest, then he kicked another in the chest, knocking him backward. He reared his gun up and shoot them in the chest, the body falling to the floor. He punched an Irken in the face and kicked him in the chest, knocking him down and shooting him in the head.
They panted and smiled in triumph, then their faces fell as another wave came. "Um, Zim!?", Gaz called, pulling her blaster up.
"Yes!?", Zim replied, twisting wires and zapping motherboards.
"Tell me your close! Cause we've got a lot of bogeys out here!", she told him, punching an enemy in the face and shooting one right next to her, then the one she punched.
"Uh, define 'close'!", he said, mumbling curses as the wiring zapped.
"Like, now!", she snapped, kicking an Irken in the chest and shooting her in the head.
"Uh, no!", he retorted. "This things finicky as hell!", he growled as the inward components backfired.
"Well, shit," the violet haired woman grumbled, punching and Irken in the face without looking.
"Well, hurry! We're getting our asses kicked!", Dib yelled, narrowly dodging a blaster bullet. He then shot with his pistol and killed the Irken that fired up in him.
"Speak for yourself!", Gaz rolled her eyes, killing an Irken with her blaster without looking. "I'm kicking ass!"
"Me too! And I'm eating ass!", Gir giggled as he, literally, ate an Irkens ass. He then ate the rest of the Irken afterwards, gulping hungrily. "And I'm not full!", he smiled evilly, causing the Irkens next to him to scream in terror.
"I'm working as fast as I can! This ship is more complicated than the previous models!", Zim snapped at the bug headed human.
"Well, work faster!", Dib retorted as he kicked an Irken in the head and snapped the soldiers neck. "I can't fight for- ow!", he yelped as a blaster shot hit his shoulder, barely leaving a mark in the armor. He faced the Irken and growled, "you son of bitch!", he then shot him in the face.
Gaz rolled her eyes and kicked and Irken in the stomach, she the punched another in the face before flipping over them both and shooting them in their heads. She yelled at Zim, "we'll hold them for as long as we can! But you might wanna hurry it up!"
"Okay, okay!", the captains stressed. He pushed two wires together and it sparked in his face, he reeled back and gave a loud sigh, "this sucks ass." He then went back to work, trying his best not to explode the damn thing.
Gir howled and chomped on an Irken, snapping him in half and tossing one half into a group of Irkens and eating the other. He then pounced in the group and snarled, drool forging everywhere. He snapped their necks with a quick swipe of his large paw, he then leapt off onto the next group.
"Whoo! Im having fun!", the robot laughed.
"That's nice Gir!", Gaz replied as she nearly got shot in the head. She flipped over the Irkens and shot them in the backs of their heads. She turned around and faced an Irken wobbling on his feet, his hands were shaky- he looked like he was gonna piss himself. She smirked and walked over confidently, he gulped and she leaned in, "boo." The Irken screamed and ran straight into a wall, knocking himself out. She laughed, "too easy."
Zim grumbled curses under his breath as he pressed a few wires together. "Please work, please work, please work," he squinted his eyes shut.
"Welcome aboard," the computer system said.
"Yes!", he cheered. "Come on! We've got ourselves a ride!", he called to the others.
Gaz, Dib, and Gir hurried over, the humans giving cover fire as the robot shrunk back down into his normal form. They leapt in and the Irken started up the ship, the cloaking activating and they zoomed off.
"Let's go kick some evil alien ass," Gaz smirked.
"Hell yeah!", Zim laughed.
"Whoo! More murder!", Gir cheered.
"You guys are freaky," Dib told them.
"Not as freaky as the fact that we're being recorded and people are watching us, or reading us," the robot said nonchalantly.
"WHAT!?", the paranormal investigator freaked.
