The ship carefully, and easily, docked between two drop ships that haven't- you know -dropped. The team of four quietly snuck out and hid on the side of one of the drop ships.
Zim faced his team and told them seriously, "look, we need to be quick, but we have to be stealthy and quiet. If we get caught the whole ship will know and we'll have an entire army on top of our heads. Now, be quick and quiet, got it?"
The three nodded, well, Gir wasn't looking, but they were pretty sure he got it.
"Now, come on," the captain did a small jerk of his head, directing them to the hallway nearby. The Irken snuck around the ship with the three following suite. When they made it into the hallway, they made sure they kept to the walls to avoid cameras.
They soon heard footsteps coming from farther down the hall, a lot of footsteps. Two squads of Irkens were marching down the hall, their blasters drawn. Zim looked around frantically, they couldn't afford to be spotted. His eyes landed on rods attached to the roof, they looked big enough to support four people.
"Hurry, up there!", he whisper yelled to them.
"How're we gonna get up there!?", Dib muttered.
The captain extended his spider like legs out from his Pak and lifted them up to the rods. The four held on as if they were gonna die if they let go... actually, they would die if they let go.
"Come on, we've gotta stop that defect!", an Irken yelled.
"Long live the empire!", the rest of the Irken soldiers cheered, their S.I.R. units raising their hands in agreement.
Zim felt his breath hitch in his throat- these Irkens were brainwashed. The screwed up empire they were born into turned them into soldiers from birth and made them order-following robots. The S.I.R. units barely had a choice, they were programmed to be loyal to their masters and that's what their doing.
"Oh, no!", Dib whimpered as the squads got closer. "I'm slipping!"
"Hold on!", Gaz told him. "And whatever you do-"
The paranormal investigator yelped as his grip broke and he plummeted down onto the floor, right in front of the two squads. He smiled nervously and waved at them.
"-don't fall," the violent human face palmed.
"H-hey guys, you, uh, don't wanna shoot me, right?", Dib gulped.
The Irkens craned their necks and looked up, seeing the rest of the team. "The defect! Kill him!", one of them ordered.
"Move!", Zim screeched as blaster fire began to fly at the three of them. Gaz and the Irken leaped out of the way while Gir transformed into the wolf like creature and he fell down on top of five of the Irkens.
The couple quickly scaled down and began to fire at the enemies with heir blasters, with Dib helped out with his pistol. Even though the three were shooting, Gir was doing the most damage. The robot was grabbing Irkens by their feet and tossing them around, hitting multiple Irkens, he then went in and killed them while they were dazed.
"Gir! I'm throwing and EMP! Move it!", Zim pulled out a glowing blue orb and tossed it at the S.I.R. units.
Gir scrambled to get back as the EMP went off, shutting down all the units and disabling the Irkens blasters. The soldiers shook their blasters and raised antenna at them. Gir walked up and smiled, "hello. Ready to be my dinner?" The Irkens screamed as they were eaten by the robot. The bot licked his lips and giggled as he shrunk back down, "I love eating people."
"Yeah, that's a bit disturbing," Dib told him, pulling in his neck piece.
"It's fine, he's whopping ass, isn't he?", Gaz replied.
"Come on, there's an elevator up ahead that takes up straight to the control center," Zim said. They followed the Irken down the halls until they found the elevator.
"Yes! Let's go kick ass!", the violet haired woman smiled.
"Oh, you won't be going anywhere, except for hell," the four turned around to see an Irken standing behind them with his blaster drawn. The Irken smirked, "it's nice seeing you, traitor."
Zim snarled, "Larb. You son of a bitch, when I'm through with you, your gonna be nothing but a broken Pak."
"Oh, death threats," Larb laughed. "I expected better from you, captain," he sneered the name.
"Gir, use program Exora and unlock the elevator," the captain began. "Dib, Gaz, protect Gir and keep him focused."
"What about you?", Gaz asked, her voice showing worry that her face hid, for the most part.
"I'm gonna kick Larb's ass," Zim replied simply, pulling out his blaster.
"Oh! That's rich! You kicking my ass, hah!", Zim's former squad mate cackled. "You really are crazy, you son of a bitch," he wiped a non-existent tear away from his eye.
"Shut up and let me school you, and show you why I was the captain of our squad," the captain hissed, advancing slowly in him.
"Well, be prepared to die," Larb snarled, cocking his blaster./
The former squad mates hissed as they began to fire at each other, but since Gir was working behind him, Zim tossed down a shield to protect him, plus Gaz and Dib. The captain leaped at Larb and tackled him to the ground, causing his former squad mates head to bust open and dark green blood to leak out. The two dropped their blasters as well. The soldier snarled and kicked Zim off of him, the captain hit the shield, hard- the two also dropped heir blasters in the process. He slid to the ground and coughed, he looked up and saw his former squad mate leaning over him.
"Say hi to Ara and Zahara for me," Larb growled./
"You first bitch," Zim hissed, pulling a knife out of his boot and stabbing the soldier in the side./
Larb screamed in pain as he stumbled back, the knife firmly in his side. The soldier slowly pulled out the knife and tossed it to the ground. "Your gonna pay for that," he looked up and met Zim's fist with his face. The traitor flew back and clattered on the ground, his Pak scrapping the metal floors and making sparks fly.
Zim advanced on his former squad mate, he then jumped on top of him, forcing the air out of his enemies squeedlyspooch. The captain jerked the soldiers arm and pulled it back unnaturally far, yet he didn't scream, he only laughed. "Don't you remember? I'm hyper flexible." Larb kicked Zim in the back and rolled away, he then took the captains back, attempting to rear necked choke him. The caption struggled to get free, but his world was dimming and his breathing slowed.
"Nighty, night," Larb growled in his antenna.
Gaz pulled her blaster up and shot Larb in the shoulder, forcing him to let go. He yelled in pain and gave Zim a chance to catch his breath and let his world come back to him. The captain gasped and coughed, grabbing his throat. That sucked. He looked at Larb, whom was trying to fix his shoulder, and he snarled.
"You son of a bitch," the captain growled. He pulled out a blaster and held it on Larb's forehead, his grip tightening.
"Woah, woah, woah!", Larb gulped. "Don't kill me!"
"You've made your bed, now lay in it," Zim narrowed his eyes and pulled the trigger. The shot killed the traitor instantly, his brains and blood flying out and splattering the ground.
The captain stood up and panted heavily, he looked down at Larb's body. He hissed and holstered his blaster, turning toward the others. He walked up to Gaz and smirked, "nice shot."
"I couldn't let you die," his girlfriend shrugged.
"I'm done!", Gir giggled. On cue, the elevator doors opened and they had access to the control room.
"Come on, let's kill my messed up leaders," Zim walked in the elevator with the three following him. He pressed a button and the door slammed shut.
