The elevator doors opened and revealed the control room. The rows of control panels with Irkens working on them and the large window that showed the earth and all the ships flying down towards it. The Tallests stood on a platform, their backs turned to the team of four and they focused on the carnage outside.
Zim stomped up to them, the others following him. Once the control Irkens saw them, they screamed and ran into the elevator to escape. The Tallests turned around and saw the team approaching them.
"Ah, so the defect returns," Red snarled. "You think you can kill us, huh? Well, your gonna regret that."
"I'm sick and tired of your lies and sociopathic way of thinking," the captain hissed, taking a few steps forward. "You killed Ara! You sent me and my family into war! You got Zahara killed! And your going to pay for that!", he screamed, leaning forward and extending his claw like fingers.
"We did nothing, we only ordered our loyal soldiers to fight and they did," the red clad Tallest replied simply.
"Exactly! You ordered us to fight! You ordered the hit on Ara! You bitches ruined me and my squads life!", Zim yelled. "You know what you've done, but you won't take responsibility for you messed up actions! You ruined multiple lives!"
"You-you really are insane," Purple chuckled.
"We are the future and our army is our ride to it," Red narrowed his eyes. "And you, your an obstacle that we need to remove."
Zim hissed and pulled out his blaster, "you both are going to regret every bad decision you both every made."
"No, we're not," the purple clad Tallest smirked. Gir then walked up to him and changed one of his fingers into a laser pointer. Purple bent down and mocked the little bot, "aw, aren't you a disgusting piece of shit." The S.I.R. unit raised his hand and turned on the laser pointer, sending the red beam into the Tallests eye. Purple screamed and held his closed eye as he writhed on the floor. Images of getting shot by a laser in his eye during Impending Doom 2 flashed in his head. "Red! The lasers! Impending Doom 2! I'm having a PTSD attack!", the Tallest cried out.
"Purple there was never an Impending Doom 2, just Impending Doom," Red rolled his eyes.
"I see it!", Purple cried.
"Okay... I'm going to pretend that this isn't happening, and shoot your ass," Zim pointed his blaster at the red clad Tallest.
"You wanna fight? Oh, your so naive," Red laughed. "You think you can kill me and my brother? Hell, to the no! You will crash and burn, literally- so will your little robot, that big headed kid-"
"Hey!"
"-and your girlfriend," the Tallest smiled maliciously.
The captain snarled, his eyes narrowing and his grip tightening. "No one, and I mean no one, threatens Gaz," he growled, his voice scratchy and scary sounding.
"And what are you gonna do?", the red Tallest raised an antenna, rolling his solid red eyes.
"Gaz, take care of Purple, Dib and Gir, use the control panels to establish communications with Skoodge, Olfa, and Tenn, I'll deal with Red," he ground out through his gritted teeth. He was throughly pissed.
The paranormal investigator and the little bot hurried to the nearest console, while Gaz pulled out her blaster and aimed it at Purple, whom was standing up and holding his eye. The Tallests pulled out their blasters and aimed them back at the human and Irken couple.
"Surrender and your executions will be swift," Red told them.
"No they won't you bitch," Gaz snapped.
"Haha, oh, your right little girl," the red clad Tallest laughed.
"Let's just get to us kicking your asses already," Zim hissed.
"Fine by me," his girlfriend smirked.
Red narrowed his eyes and hissed- a deeper and more threatening hiss than Zim ever made, or can ever make. Purple bared his teeth and growled, sounding more threatening than Zim, but no where near as scary as his brother sounded. The captain started his own hissing and growling, he sounded like a kitten next to pair lions currently.
"Prepare to die," the eviler Tallest said slowly, his voice soft. He then pulled his Pak legs out and launched himself towards Gaz, intending to throw her over the edge of the platform.
"No!", Zim screeched as he pushed Red and they both fell, grappling with each other and sending punches the whole way down.
"Zim!"
"Red!"
The human and Irken faced each other, both way beyond pissed. Gaz reared up her blaster and shot at Purple multiple times, he was barely able to dodge her fire. The Tallest hissed and fired back, hitting her shoulder plating. She scoffed and rolled under the rest of his fire and kicked his legs out from under him. The Irken yelped as he fell to the ground and found the violent woman on top of him. The human elbowed him in the forehead and his dark green blood began to drip, he then kicked her in the back, making her fly off of him. The two quickly stood up and started at each other once more.
"Your gonna die," Gaz hissed angrily.
"Well, I'm not, cause, uh, I don't wanna," Purple attempted to come up with a witty comeback, but he failed.
The violet haired woman balled her fists up, her knuckles cracking loudly. She then rushed at the Irken and tackled him to the ground, she wrapped her legs around his long neck and began to choke him out. The Tallest gagged and coughed before he did a quick spin maneuver and released himself from the chokehold. He then grabbed her arm and pinned her on her stomach, holding the arm he had behind her back. The human used her free hand to grab his foot and jerk on it, making him loosen his grip, she then pushed herself up very quickly and butted the back of her head against his chin. She rolled onto her back and the purple clad Tallest rolled onto his back right next to her. She punched his face and he hit her stomach, she then quickly leapt up and crashed down onto the Irkens chest, forcing all the air out of him.
Gaz slowly stood up and painted, "have fun in hell, you son of a bitch."
Purple coughed and sputtered, "you... you will ne-never win-" he abruptly stopped and entered a coughing fit.
The violent human pulled out a blaster and shot him directly in the forehead, killing the Tallest instantly. "Bitch," she scoffed. She then rushed over to the edge of the platform where Zim and Red fell. She crouched down and leaned over the side, "Zim!", she yelled. "Are you there!?" Now that she was closer she could faintly hear fighting and grunting. She jumped backwards and gasped, "he's alive! Yes! Thanks You, God! Whoo!"
The two Irkens had fallen far, but their Pak legs had saved them. The bottom of the chasm was just dark and empty, nothing there. The only reason it was on board was because the Tallests liked to kick unimportant Irkens down there when they were mad. Now, the captain and Tallest were fighting to the death down there.
Zim stumbled back as he was punched in the face. He felt his forehead with his hand and looked down at the dark green blood that stained his glove. He looked back up at the smug Tallest and growled, "no one makes me bleed my own blood."
Red laughed, "aw, that's so cute I wanna vomit!" Then he groaned as he was assaulted by the captains foot hitting his chin. The red clad Tallest recoiled backwards to recover, but he wasn't given that chance, because Zim kept advancing on him. The captain sent another kick, then a punch, then an knee, and finally an uppercut. Red Tallest landed on his back on the ground, coughing out dark green blood.
Zim stood over him and hissed, "you should have surrendered."
"And you should know, I'm smarter than this," Red smirked.
The captains eyes widened in realization, "oh, no."
The red clad Tallest grinned and comes the other Irkens feet out from under him, making him fall to the ground, he then leaped on top of him, pinning him to the floor. The captain growled in frustration before he head butted the evil leader, who then raised his knee and smashed in down into his chest. Zim coughed as the air came out of his squeedlyspooch, yet he still continued to fight. The former soldier kicked his old leader in the back and freed himself, then he leaped up and caught his breath.
"You bitch!", Zim hissed as he watched Red quickly recover.
"There are no rules to this game, kid," the Tallest replied smugly.
Before the red clad Tallest could react, Zim had used his Pak legs to launch himself over the evil Irken and land behind him. The captain then kicked him down to the ground and pinned him with his knee, he then pressed down on his neck with his forearm.
"No rules, huh?", the former soldier smirked.
"No rules," Red coughed before using his free arm to pull a stray piece of metal off of the wall and stab Zim in the arm with it. The captain screamed and was easily pushed off of the evil leader, he then crashed into the wall.
Zim jerked the metal piece out and hissed in pain. He gripped the new weapon tightly and hissed as he stood up, "your gonna regret that."
"And your going to die," Red retorted. The captain growled before rushing over to the other Irken and slicing his neck open with the piece of metal. The red clad Tallest gasped in shock as he fell to the ground, he began to choke on his own blood.
The former soldier stood over his body and sniffed in disgust, "you deserve this, you sociopath bastard." With that, the captain pulled out his Pak legs and began to scale the wall, leaving the Tallest for dead.
Zim quickly exited the chasm and stood on the side of the platform, where he was nearly pushed off by a relieved hug. He quickly caught himself with his Pak legs, and picked him and his beloved up and carried them over to a safer area. He set them both down and he laughed, hugging her back. "Oh, thank God your okay," he sighed.
"I could say the same about you," Gaz smiled.
"Will you?", he smirked.
"No," she giggled.
"Aww!", the captain groaned.
"Sorry," the violet haired woman snickered.
"No your not," he rolled his eyes playfully.
"We have communiflations wuv-birds!", Gir called to them.
"Come on," Zim smiled, squeezing his girlfriends hand tightly.
The two hurried over to the control console and on the screen was a dial, it seemed like. The Irken pressed some buttons and spoke into the microphone, "code Arahaz. I repeat, code Arahaz. Skoodge, Olfa, Tenn, do you read me?"
The screen lit up and they could see the two Irkens and one S.I.R. unit on screen. "Zim?", Skoodge said. "What happened? The Irkens are retreating, was that you guys?"
"Yeah, yeah it was," the captain confirmed. "Me and Gaz have killed the Tallests."
"Yes! The war is over!", Tenn cheered, with Olfa going "whoop!", behind her.
"Look, I need to tell you all something very important, Skoodge," Zim began. His former squad mates quieted down and listened intently. "Now that the Tallests are dead, and me and Gaz have killed them, we can either become the Tallests ourselves or chose successors. We need leaders that will propel or race into peace and prosperity, no more war, no more hurt, no more fighting."
"So… are you taking the job?", Tenn asked.
"No," Zim replied simply with a shake of his head. "I want you and Skoodge, Tenn. I can't go back to Irk- hell, I can barely stand being on this ship. I've got issues, issues that I can't fight off while leading my people. You both are kind souls, and I know you'll lead us into a better future. Can I trust you?"
The Irken couple nodded seriously. "We can, sir," Skoodge saluted.
"I should be calling you 'sir', Tallest Skoodge," the captain smirked. "And you Tallest
Tenn. Have fun."
The two smiled and nodded, with Olfa squealing happily behind them. The little robot then spoke up, "I would like to stay and help, if that's okay?"
"You are your own person, Olfa," Zim told her. "Plus, it's not my decision."
"Of course, my old friend," Tallest Skoodge agreed.
"Whoo hoo to peace," the captain smiled.
"Whoo hoo," Gaz rolled her eyes. She then jerked Zim so that he was facing her, "you scared the hell out of me, by the way. Don't ever do that to me again."
"I won't," he chuckled.
"No, you won't," she nodded. "Because your staying with me, forever."
"I wouldn't have it any other way," her boyfriend smirked, he then placed a soft kiss on her lips.
"Ew!", Dib gagged.
"Aww," Gir smiled.
