A slender woman wandered through the expansive forest. Her steps were light and her movements graceful, as if dancing with the wind. The morning sun shone brightly on her ivory skin. She had no semblance of an idea of where she was, and even less of a clue on how to get out. Her mind raced with questions; what is this place? Where am I going? How long was I in my gem? She touched the gem on her forehead, her namesake, a white, oval shaped Pearl. Pearl continued to look around the green expanse in awe at its beauty, and mystery. But suddenly, she heard a rustling in the bushes.

She whipped her head around to find... nothing. Strange. Pearl continued to walk through the forest, slightly nervous this time around. Suddenly, a quick, but strong gust of wind shot up from the ground! And then, as sudden as it came, it went. Pearl only had one thing on her mind: What in the name of all that is nice in the world was that? She then heard laughter. Youthful, childish laughter. She looked up to see a boy, no more than 16-18 years old in appearance, his skin a pale green, his hair in a tight, dark green ponytail, his green eyes full of energy, and his grin mischievous amd full of a strange joy. his body was skinny, and seemed quite nimble. And he wore a pair of baggy pants that where forest green at the top half, and dark green at the bottom half of each leg. He also had white bandages wrapped around each forelimb, and green sandals on his feet. His upper body was covered with a dark green tank top with golden around the chest and neckline, around his neck was a green scarf, and on his chest was a strange green object. He was crouched on a branch, laughing to himself. He stared at his hands and laughed. When finally he saw her, he gasped softly, almost dropping from the branch. The little Pearl giggled, not understanding the odd expression he had just seen on his face. His mouth hung open for a moment, before quickly closing.

"Who are you?" Asked the boy. Pearl looked at him and slightly smiled. Something about him seemed… Innocent, almost childlike. Reminded her of… Steven. "Um, I'm Pearl." She introduced as the boy swinging upside down the branch. "Can you tell me who you are?" Pearl inquired. "Nope!" …What? "Why not?" "I don't know!! But I do know my name!" He said before standing upright on the branch. "Lewa!! Mystery-King of Know-Nothingness!!! Has a nice ring to it doesn't it?" Pearl chuckled slightly. Lewa was quite childish, in a funny way. Lewa jumped down from the branch and held out his hand with a wide, cheeky grin. Pearl took it awkwardly and shook it. Suddenly, they heard a loud growl. They turned to see a large, mechanical bear like being. It's metal teeth bared threateningly at them, it's red eyes glowing ominously.

Pearl gasped and backed away from Lewa slowly. "Welp, I guess we should quick-run now!" He remarked calmly, still holding onto Pearl's hand. Lewa started to pull Pearl along, and pretty soon, the bear was out of sight. Lewa let go of Pearl's hand, and did something that surprised her. He touched the object on his chest, and from it, pulled a large, thin hatchet. The hatchet had an emerald green blade, and a black handle wraped in a long, dark green bandage, and it's pommel was a shirt conical spike… He was a gem!!!??? Many thoughts rushed through pearl's head. How is he a gem? How is he a he? What was that weapon? What type of gem is he? But her mind was quickly shushed, as the bear quickly pounced at her. Just as she was about to summon her own weapon, Lewa jumped in and intercepted the attack with the handle of his hatchet. He pushed at the bear for a bit before pushing it back and off his hatchet. Pearl stared at him for a moment before speaking. "Right…" She put her hands. ear her gem and Lewa watvhed in awe as an ornate looking white spear projected from her gem. She grabbed it and got into a fighting position. Lewa got into his own and watched closely as the bear rushed toward the both of them. Pearl and Lewa readied their weapons while the bear approached. The bear stopped once it was close enough and roared, charging toward them again. Once it was close enough, it raised one arm over Pearl and brought it down towards her in a downward swing. Lewa quickly leapt forward and knocked the bear in the head with the side of his hatchet. Pearl then rushed foward and was able to scratch it a few times with her spear. The bear stumbled, but quickly recovered. That's when Lewa jumped and kicked the bear in the stomach. He then waved his hand over his face and did something that Pearl never would've expected. A strange green tribal mask appeared over Lewa's face. He jumped up and didn't come down. But soon he came crashing down in a kicking position! He managed to kick the strange decaying mask off of the bear! He skids to a stop before the mask dissipates. He runs over to see pearl standing over the bear with a spear at its neck. "NO! Pearl! Wait!" He ran up and stood beside her, grabbing her spear. She was shocked. "What are you doing?!" "I should be think-asking you the same thing!!!!!" "I'm gonna poof this corrupted gem send it back to where it belongs!" Lewa tilted his head. "Corrupted gem? You must mean the Rock-Stones on our bodies." "Yes. And this one is corrupted." "Wait! You need to sight-look further! Do you see a rock-stone on sister-bear's body?" Pearl looked over it. There was no gemstone on the bear. She stopped back, shocked. Then what was this thing? Lewa saw the bear's distraught face, and went over to comfort it. He gently stroked it's hair, causing it to calm down. "It is alright Sister-Bear. She does not want to harm-hurt you." Pearl walked over to him slowly, putting down her spear. The bear thankfully calmed down. It got up, and licked Lewa, before running into the forest. Suddenly, they heard clapping and chuckling. A small Peridot gem walked from the bushes followed by multiple other green gems. He wore his hair in a ponytail like Lewa, he also wears a Green untied scarf with golden accents and circular symbols. He wore nothing on his upper body besides the scarf, but on his lower was a pair of green pants with golden accents, and golden sandals. He held a strange staff with a buzz saw at the end. "Of course, it would be Toa Lewa to be so, at peace with the wild life of Le-Wahi. Welcome Toa-Hero Lewa!" "Wh-Who are you?"

"So Makuta is the one who gave the Rahi those Sick-Masks and turned them into Craze-Angry Beasts?" Lewa asked Turaga Matau. "Yes. He is the one who wishes to envelop singsong Mata Nui in dark-shadow!" Lewa looked down. Pearl noticed his sudden change in demeanor. "Is something wrong?" Lewa sighed. "I had... nightmares... of shadow. All of the world, covered in it. Nothing but dark-black and chaos all over. It gave me... fear." Pearl's eyes widened as she listened to Lewa. She hadn't known that Lewa could be afraid. In the shoet time she knew him, he was always so cheerful, and confident! It made Pearl happy. "Are they ever gone?" Pearl wondered. "No…" Lewa replied sadly. Pearl frowned. She simply hugged Lewa. He hugged her back.
