Here is Chapter Two!

Previously… I looked behind me towards the voice when suddenly I ran into something. Or someone.

I cursed under my breath as I dropped my books. I immediately bent down to pick them up causing myself some pain in my ribs doing so. I really hope it wasn't Jessica or Lauren. Or Mike.

"It's okay. Are you hurt", I heard a voice ask.

It wasn't a familiar voice. He sounded kind. I hadn't noticed yet that he was helping me with my books until I saw them in his hands. I looked up to the person who helped me. He was like someone from a fairytale. I forgot that he had asked a question until he repeated himself.

"Are you okay", he asked again.

Great, Bella. What a way to make a fool of yourself.

"Yeah I'm fine. Sorry for walking into you. I wasn't looking where I was going".

He smiled a crooked smile. He wasn't familiar to me and if he did go to this school then he knew better than to talk to me. Everyone knows everyone in this town.

"That's alright. I'm just glad your okay",

I nodded my head and smiled slightly as I walked past him. I didn't want to converse with him much longer as I know if anyone was to find out he would be a target. He might get some slack as he's new and doesn't know who I am. I kept walking until I made it into the building and up to my locker. I put in my pin and took out the books that I wouldn't need for the moment out of my bookbag and put them into my locker and left the book that I would need in my bag.

My first two lessons were English and then algebra. I really enjoyed English. It was my second favourite subject after Biology. I love reading the classics and we usually have a book report every year on one of the classics. Last year was Romeo and Juliet. I have no idea what book it was going to be this year. I didn't really like Algebra as one I didn't enjoy it and two I didn't really get it. I'm gonna need some help but I don't think anyone here would help me out.

As I walked through the doors of my English class everyone's eyes were on me again. This was a daily occurrence. It made me uncomfortable but I was used to it. Their eyes were still on me when I walked down the rows of tables to take my seat. I was still in a lot of pain as I took my seat. I hope I make it through the day without having to go home as I know that Charlie would not like it and would punish me further.

English went by pretty quickly. We worked from extracts from the English book. I did enjoy it but I can't wait until we get our book to work on for our report. I'm always the last to leave my lessons as I would rather not get pushed or tripped up. I slowly gathered my books and put them away in my bag.

As I made my way through the halls towards Algebra everyone was gossiping. The weird thing about it is that it wasn't directed at me. I didn't get the looks from them all. Maybe it was about the car that was outside this morning. I shook my head not really caring about what the gossip was about, just happy that it meant that they would leave me alone for at least a minute or two.

VAlgebra went by slowly. We worked on some sums from the workbook. I struggled a bit but I tried my best. Once algebra was finished I took a slow walk to the cafeteria. The halls were quiet as I stayed back and let everyone else go to avoid the crowds. Once I was out of the classroom the halls were empty so I slowly made my way out of the building. I always sat in my truck at lunchtime to avoid all the looks and whispers. When I left the building it was raining so I had to put my hoodie up to cover my head. I walked over to my truck and carefully opened the door as the expensive looking car was still sitting there. I hopped in and took down my hoodie. I enjoyed the quietness. I took out my copy of Romeo and Juliet that I still had from last year's book report. The teacher let us keep our copies if we wanted to. I think I was the only one that kept my copy.

As I read my book I heard a slam of a car door. I looked up to see the owners of the Mercedes show up. I recognized one of them, it was the guy that I bumped into this morning. There were a few other people with him. A girl with very short pixie-like hair. She seemed to be bouncing about like she was high on sugar. There was another girl with the most beautiful blond hair. She seemed too much into her looks. She didn't look very nice either. A guy who looked a bit shy, he had the same beautiful blond hair. He seemed really nice. The last person with them was a body building looking guy. He seemed a bit scary but also nice at the same time. I couldn't decide. I felt very intimidated by them. They were all beautiful and seeing their car they seemed like they had money.

I looked at the time on my dashboard. The bell was going to ring in a few minutes. I sighed as I closed my book and put it away in my bag. I put my hoodie back up and opened my door. My heart fell as I heard a bang. I realized I had hit the Mercedes next to me and to make matters worse they were all there looking at me. I closed my eyes and cursed under my breath. I was about to talk but before I could the blond girl started shouting at me.

"What the hell did you do! Look at my car", she shouted.

I looked at the damage and there was a bit of a dent at the side. It wasn't massive and it wouldn't cost them a lot to get it fixed and I don't even think that would matter. They would probably be able to afford a whole new car. I still felt bad though as I did damage someone's property.

"I am so sorry. I didn't mean to hit your car. I'll pay for the damages", I said, panicking.

I was waiting for the blond girl to throw more abuse my way until the boy that I saw earlier jumped in.

"No, that's okay honestly. It's only a little bump and Rosalie it's not your car it's my car", he said turning to the blond girl.

The blond girl, who's name I just learnt, Rosalie turned away and crossed her arms across her body and let out a loud huff.

"Ignore her, that's just how she acts", he said, turning to me.

I smiled at him and he smiled back. He was very nice. I was right about Rosalie; she wasn't very nice.

"Can I please pay you something for the damages", I asked, still feeling bad.

"Honestly it's fine. My brother Emmett is good with cars", he said pointing to the big buy.

Emmett smiled and gave me a wave. He seemed really nice. The smile made him look nicer than he looked.

"Okay, sorry again. I gotta go, class is about to start", I said as I walked away.

As I made my way towards the building I could feel their eyes on me. They didn't seem too bad. I didn't really like Rosalie but the rest of them seemed nice. I didn't get the name of the other girl that was bouncing about or the boy that seemed shy and the other one who owned the car. I didn't want to know too much about them as it was too dangerous for my safety and there's, as Charlie has said, if anyone catches on to what happens at home then he will hurt them too and I couldn't put that on anyone else. Even people I didn't know.
