Authoress Note: Welcome to Chapter 66 of God of Lies and Mischief and the Woman of Many Faces. Thank you to those who have left reviews for this story. It really does mean a lot to me that you guys are enjoying this story and hopefully you'll continue on enjoying it. I'm trying my best with trying to make the chapters longer, but it does prove difficult when the format is in movie form and trying to translate a movie into chapters, it isn't all that easy. I hope that you guys enjoy this next part of the story. Without further ado Chapter 66. ENJOY!

Chapter 66

Steve decked out in his uniform strided through the underpass, then jogged onto the private runway, heading for the grounded chopper.

An electro-disabler slammed into the chopper causing Steve to look up.

Tony and Rhodey descend in their Iron Man and War Machine armor.

"Wow, it's so weird how you run into people at the airport. Don't you think that's weird?" Tony questioned looking at his friend.

"Definitely weird." Rhodey agreed with his long time friend.

"Hear me out, Tony. That doctor, the psychiatrist, he's behind all of this." Steve said, holding up his hands trying to diffuse the situation.

Suddenly T'Challa leapt up over a truck. "Captain."

Steve swallowed the lump in his throat. "Your highness."

"Anyway, Ross gave me 36 hours to bring you in. That was 24 hours ago. Can you help a brother out?" Tony said, looking over at Steve.

"You're after the wrong guy."

"Your judgment is askew. Your old war buddy killed innocent people yesterday."

"And there are five more super soldiers just like him. I can't let the doctor find them first, Tony. I can't."

"Steve . . . you know what's about to happen. Do you really wanna punch your way out of this one?" Natasha questioned looking at her friend.

"All right, I've run out of patience. Underoos!"

A young man shot a web, stealing Steve's shield and binding his hands.

"Nice job, kid."

"Thanks. Well, I could've stuck the landing a little better. It's just the new suit… Well, it's nothing, Mr. Stark. It's-it's perfect. Thank you." The kid said softly.

"Yeah, we don't really need to start a conversation."

"Okay. Cap . . . Captain. Big fan, I'm Spider-Man."

"Yeah, we'll talk about it later. Just . . ."

"Hey, everyone." The kid said with a small wave of his hand.

" . . . Good job." Tony tried his best to not roll his eyes of how awestruck the kid was.

"You've been busy." Steve said, looking at Tony.

"And you've been a complete idiot. Dragging in Clint. 'Rescuing' Wanda from a place she doesn't even want to leave, a safe place. I'm trying to keep . . . I'm trying to keep you from tearing the Avengers apart."

"You did that when you signed."

"Alright, We're done. You're gonna turn Barnes over, you're gonna come with us. NOW! Because it's us! Or a squad of J-SOC guys . . . with no compunction about being impolite."

Steve looked aside.

"Come on."

"We found it. Their Quinjet's in hangar five, north runway." Sam said on Steve's com and everyone else who was on their team.

Steve held his hands up and Clint shot the web off. "Alright, Lang."

"Hey, guys, something . . ." The kid said softly.

"Whoa. What-what the hell was that?" Rhodey questioned his eyes looking around sharply trying to figure out what had happened.

Scott was able to retrieve Steve's shield, handing it to him. "I believe this is yours, Captain America."

"Oh, great. Alright, there's two on the parking deck. One of them's Maximoff, I'm gonna grab her. Rhodey, you want to take Cap?" Tony said with a groan.

"Got three in the terminal, Wilson, Vincin, and Barnes." Rhodey confirmed.

"Barnes is mine!" T'Challa snarled, claiming the man that he thought killed his father.

"Hey, Mr. Stark, what should I do?" The young kid who called himself Spiderman questioned.

"What we discussed. Keep your distance. Web 'em up." Tony said, looking over at Spiderman.

"Okay, copy that!"

"Move, Captain. I won't ask a second time." T'Challa snarled at Steve.

Scott turned his attention to Natasha. "Look, I really don't want to hurt you."

"I wouldn't stress about it." Natasha said, kicking him the groin and he miniaturized, throwing her head over her heels. She zapped him off of her wrist and he slammed into a nearby truck, leaving a small dent.

Everleigh was ahead of the two boys keeping her feet on the ground instead of using her powers to keep her in the air.

Bucky turned his head, his brows furrowed. "What the hell is that?"

Sam groaned a little frustrated. "Everyone's got a gimmick now."

Peter swung throught the glass wall and kicked Sam backwards.

Bucky threw a punch and Peter caught his fist.

"You have a metal arm? That is awesome, dude!"

Sam hit Peter, knocking him down.

"You have the right to remain silent!" Peter said in midair fending off Sam's attacks, then swung after him using his webs.

"Kid, you've watched way too many police shows." Everleigh said as she lifted herself into the air, making Peter stop.

"Oh wow… you have powers?"

Everleigh blinked a few times wondering if this kid shouldn't really be fighting against anyone.

"Get Bucky and go, Leigh."

Everleigh nodded her head. "Ready Sergeant?" She questioned looking at Bucky.

"Ready for what?" Bucky questioned, slightly concerned.

"Oh you'll see soon enough." Everleigh said as she came down. "Hang onto me."

"Wait what?"

Everleigh moved his arms around her before floating it up into the air.

Bucky's hold tightened on her.

"Relax, I won't drop you." She said as she floated them quickly through the air knowing that they needed to get the hell out of dodge.

Peter swung through the rafters in the terminal, chasing after Sam who flew backwards firing shots. Peter stopped on a high beam. "Oh god."

Everleigh quickly put Bucky down once they were a little bit further away from Peter.

Bucky picked something heavy up and threw it at Peter.

"Hey buddy, I think you lost this!" Peter shouted, catching it before throwing it back at Bucky.

Sam kicked Peter off of the beam and Peter fired a web which sent Sam crashing to the ground.

Peter webbed Sam's wrist to the balcony railing. "Those wings carbon fiber?"

"Is this stuff coming out of you?" Sam questioned looking up at Peter.

"That would explain the rigidity-flexibility ratio, which, gotta say, that's awesome, man."

"I don't know if you've been a fight before but there's usually not that much talking."

"Alright, sorry, my bad." Peter said as he swung down and Bucky jumped in the way.

Bucky and Sam fell through the glass down to the next floor and Peter webbed the both of them.

"Guys, look. I'd love to keep this up but I've only got one job here today and I gotta impress Mr. Stark, so, l'm really sorry."

Suddenly Red Wing dragged Peter through the glass wall.

"Wwahhhh!"

"You couldn't have done that earlier?" Bucky questioned panting softly.

"I hate you."

Everleigh suddenly appeared next to them, scaring Bucky.

"What the hell."

Everleigh's cheeks flushed in embarrassment. "Sorry. Another part of my gift." She said as she was able to get the two of them loose from the webbing. "Come on. We have a quinjet to catch."

The two men nodded their heads.

Everleigh nodded her head and quickly moved. "Okay I don't think we have much time. We have to get together with the rest of the team."
