Hello everyone, so sorry for taking long. I've been getting used back to university and have been busy with reading and societies and everything. But here it is. I hope you all enjoy this. Thank you all so much for your support.

The Anniversary of Peace and Prosperity

Hiccup woke up early. He saw his beautiful Raya asleep beside him, peacefully. He smiled and kissed her warm cheek. He stood up, walked to the tent curtains, and pulled them open. Morning sunlight stretched into their chambers. He breathed in the fresh river moisture as he closed his eyes. He breathed out. When he opened his eyes again, he saw a blinking cat-like Toothless in front of him. "Morning bud,"

"Morning Hiccup," Toothless licked his face and Hiccup hugged him. "How are you feeling?"

His person breathed out relievedly. "Much better," Toothless smiled passionately. He loved to see his human happy. He purred as a large pussycat and Hiccup embraced him tightly.

"Good morning lover boy," Sisu approached and licked his face too, making his front hair bangs stand up. He frowned but she giggled and so did Toothless.

Hiccup glared at his dragon. "Really?"

"Good morning everyone," Raya's voice joined the conversation. She yawned and stretched her arms, coming to Hiccup's side.

"Sleep well lovebirds?" Sisu teased earning a playful frown from Raya. "How are you feeling Hiccup?"

"Much better," Hiccup answered. "I'm still a little on edge…but I'm getting there,"

The four sat outside eating Heart buns for breakfast with Tuk-Tuk. Then Raya and Hiccup spent a while dipping their feet into the water, holding hands together. Raya laid her head on her boyfriend's. Hiccup felt her warmth flow into his body. His fingers snaked into his pocket, to the ring box. It was time to spill out the words. "Raya?"

Raya looked up at him.

"There's something…I've been meaning to ask you for a long while,"

Raya sat up, pressing her hands over his as their eyes were glued to each other. She waited patiently. Before a word could leave Hiccup's lips, they heard a throat cough. They turned around to see Benja, standing tall, eyebrows raised, lips straight, arms behind his back. An entourage of soldiers stood by him.

"Oh dad," Raya stood up awkwardly, pulling Hiccup with her.

"I thought by first moonlight yesterday you two would be back. You had me quite worried. Raya, if you and Hiccup wanted to camp out together you could have told me?"

"Sorry ba," Raya apologised. "You don't have to know everything we do," Benja looked at their tent, Toothless and Sisu sitting near it. "Did you two…"

"Dad!" groaned Raya. "Chill! It was nothing serious! We just need time together. For Hiccup,"

Benja's face softened. He peeped fatherly at Hiccup. "How are you feeling, son?" Hiccup felt loved hearing him address him this way.

"More like myself again. I didn't want to burden you and Raya with my troubles. Not after all that you've done for me,"

"Hiccup, you have no reason to be sorry. We're just so happy that you're part of our family. As much as we hate what fate had for you in what has passed, we are so grateful that it led you to us. Let us return to Heart to celebrate,"

"Celebrate what?" Sisu asked, approaching the group.

Benja rolled his eyes playfully. "Don't you remember Sisu? It's the sixth anniversary of peace in Kumandra!"

Raya and Hiccup's mouths dropped.

"I forgot it was today," Hiccup face-smacked himself.

"Everyone's wondering where their four favourite heroes are," Benja said. "Shall we?"

"Absolutely," cheered Raya. As a stunt of celebration, Toothless shot three plasma blasts and they boomed in the sky like fireworks of purple and white. Mounting Toothless, Sisu and their dragons, the inhabitants of Heart flew back to their kingdom. As they approached the island, they saw the most incredible sight. They saw water dragons of various colours galloping around the tipping point, forming rainbows with their magical rain in the beams of the sunlight. Then they saw Hookfang, Stormfly, Meatlug and Barf and Belch flying towards them.

Hello, lovebirds. Hookfang drew a heart of fire in the air.

How nice of you to join us. Stormfly licked Hiccup's face.

"We wouldn't miss this at all," cheered Raya.

Just wait till you see the air show we've put on. Said Meatlug excitedly.

"We look forward to watching it," Hiccup high-fived her. He heard two cat-like chirps and before acknowledging whom they belonged to, he felt his Terror and Smokebreath landing on his shoulder. They licked his face and nuzzled his face. He hugged them. "I missed you two. Sorry, I had you worried,"

You'd better not do that again. Smokey warned.

We're so happy to see you happy. Sharpshot gave Hiccup another purr and then a lick right on his lips much to his disgust but everyone else's amusement.

"Let's join the party. Our guests are waiting," Benja glanced at the impatient, ecstatic crowds below. Hiccup and Raya spotted their friends Tong, Boun, Noi and the Ongis waving up to them. They saw people wearing colours of green and pink and white and yellow and navy blue – the five clans of Kumandra, Heart and Talon and Fang and Tail and Spine. Every glance they took below at all those faces of joy made them remember the first time all of Kumandra came together once the Drunn and the Dragon Flyers were defeated.

Benja's heart was the warmest. It had been his lifelong dream. And for six long years, it had flourished into a never-ending utopia. The dragons descended to the kingdom. The larger their shadows became, the louder their voices rose. The moment Sisu and Toothless's feet touched the ground, people came buzzing forward to greet them. Hiccup and Raya dismounted and Hiccup's small dragons took off.

The loud bellowing cackle of a certain friend drew their attention. Tong bounded towards them and he pulled them up into his beefy squeezy arms. Raya didn't mind but Hiccup was squished up.

"So good to see you, Tong," Raya patted his back and he let him go.

"Hello Noi," Hiccup bent down to look at the Noi whose hair had grown a little long. "How are you?"

Noi clapped and hugged his face before the Ongis joined in. Hiccup's voice was muffled and Toothless did his dragonic laugh.

"Hey Boun," Raya high-fived him.

"Where did you two get to?" he questioned curiously but a goofy grin was on his face. Hiccup pursed his lips.

"We just went camping," she answered quickly. Raya did not like others to know what they did in their private time. Noi and the Ongis crossed his arms and gave her a soft easy grin.

"Don't we have a celebration to do?!" Sisu spoke up raising her paws in the air and she stood tall with her serpentine body.

The crowd cheered again. The party commenced. Entertainers from Talon showed off tricks. Noi and the Ongis performed some magic tricks; everyone was impressed. Her mother was so proud too. Fang cat trainers led a cat show. Boun and his family, the best cooks of Tail offered stews of all kinds and Benja's favourite one with all of the clan's famous ingredients mixed in one broth. Toothless ate a whole pot much to Hiccup's amusement. Sharpshot and Smokey tried to sip some too but Boun's mother kept a hard eye on them and they backed away at all times. Tong showed off his strength and won the competition of the strongest and he cheered holding up his wife and son in the air.

At mid-afternoon, the crowds sat on the grass on the shores of the Heart isle. Sisu and her siblings appeared on water platforms just above the water. Raya and Hiccup sitting together with Toothless watched her eagerly. Toothless blinked pensively at her with his wide green eyes. Sisu saw them. She felt her cheeks blushing. Pengu noticed and smiled.

A gentle shower was summoned. The five siblings galloped around the air, doing flips and twirls before diving in order of age into the water disappearing under the surface. Their feet and tails poked out and they performed a synchronised swimming routine with Pengu, Pranee, Jagan and Sisu flipping Amba up into the air. She did somersaulting tricks again and then dived back in, splashing the front audience lines in the water. Raya and Hiccup laughed as their hair drenched. The dragons flew out again and then bowed, earning an audience of claps.

"Thank you! Thank you!" Sisu was blushing from the compliments. Her siblings settled down on the shore whilst she went to join her closest friends.

"That was…amazing," breathed Toothless.

"Why…thank you," Sisu blushed, unable to hide her coloured cheeks. Their eyes were glued to each other. Their smiles mimicked. Hiccup and Raya winked at each other.

The dragons from Berk hovered above the water. The audience pressed their eyes to the metallic entertainers. They shot off into four corners. Barf and Belch flew around, the left-hand releasing gas. They drew a shape in the air. Then with a simple spark, the right hand made it light up into the shape of a dragon. Benja clapped.

Behind the eyes of the dragon drawing, Hiccup saw Meatlug. She flew towards it at a fast pace. He held his breath.

In the air, Meatlug aimed for the smallest space in the image, the space in the eye pocket. She closed her eyes.

Raya held her hands. Noi at her feet became scared. The Ongis covered her eyes.

Meatlug flew right through the fire eye of the drawing and the audience clapped. She had made it through. Hookfang appeared next. Flapping his wings, he twirled around in the air, dissolving the fire image and forming a tornado of fire. He brought it into the air and with a flap of his wings, he formed a ring of fire around him. And then the fire blasted off into the sky like fireworks. Now it was Stormfly's turn. She flew around in the air. She drew her tail along the river. Then twirled in the air whilst soaring up. Then she dived down. Would she dive underwater? She pulled up just above the surface as she spiralled up again, she made the water move and the audience was splashed again.

Claps and praises and whistles were awarded. Their heads bowed and they flew to the shore proud of their performances.

"They surely are amazing," admired Boun, proud of his dragon.

"That's my dragon!" clapped Tong a bit too loudly.

"Are you two ready?" Toothless whispered to Raya and Hiccup.

"Ready for what?" asked his person.

"For the performance, we've been practising?"

Hiccup suddenly felt his insides bundled in knots, his breath low and slow. Not only had he forgotten about today, but he had also forgotten they had been preparing a performance. "No way. We'll do it next time,"

"Come on Hiccup," begged his girl. "Don't worry about embarrassing yourself. Come on. Let's get out there,"

"You're not walking out of this lover boy," said Sisu motivated.

Hiccup glanced anxiously at all the happy crowds. They had loved all the performances of those dragons, both from Berk and Kumandra. But they needed more excitement. They needed both humans and dragons. "Okay. Let's do,"

"That's my man," Raya pecked his cheek.

They stood up. Heads were turned and whistles were blown from puffy lips. Raya's finger slipped into Hiccup's as they walked towards the shore. They turned to face everyone with Sisu and Toothless.

"We have dedicated this performance we're about to do to both humans and dragons," Raya announced. "This show is meant to represent how much we humans and dragons can rely and count on one another,"

"When you watch us, you will all be reminded of what true trust is and how it had made our land whole," Hiccup unexpectedly made everyone clap again. He felt more frantic every second. For a moment, he felt his mind bounce back to the day, he had faced an entire crowd in an arena, the day everything changed and he was set on the path that led him to this spot.

Raya noticed and her fingers curled firmer. Hiccup looked at her and saw a bright smile. He wasn't facing the same crowd as before. He was facing a crowd of people who loved him. Nothing would matter. He mounted his best friend. Raya mounted Sisu and the dragons ascended into the air. They faced each other. The girls nodded at the boys. They nodded back. And then the dragons dove down. Raya and Hiccup clung to them tightly.

The audience watched the dragons pull up above the water. They shot around in circles above the surface, forming waves. Then they spiralled into the sky circling each other. Sisu and Toothless flew in a horizontal line. Raya stood up well-balanced on Sisu's snake-like body and she flipped backwards and landed perfectly along Sisu's body without falling off, then she flipped forward again, landing on her hands keeping her upright on Sisu's fur. Her father smiled proudly.

Hiccup backflipped off Toothless and shot right down with his eyes closed. He felt the air in his face. Toothless dove down and they circled around each other as gravity pulled them towards the water. The dragon his person twirled around the hair. Then Hiccup grabbed Toothless's body and Toothless shot right back to Sisu. Raya had performed some extra cool acrobatic tricks on Sisu's back and now it was time for a great daring feat.

Standing right up on their dragons and facing each other, Hiccup and Raya nodded and then jumped down. Toothless and Sisu flipped backwards and once Hiccup and Raya grabbed their tails, they flipped them. They somersaulted into the air like trapeze artists, their eyes always meeting each other. Once they were high enough, they skydived down towards their dragons. They faced each other, reaching out their hands. They touched and Hiccup saw the proudness in his girlfriend's eyes. Raya then flipped backwards so her feet were right underneath his. He grabbed them.

A blue tail appeared out of nowhere right above his hand. He grabbed it. Then he felt his stomach flipping and flopping in his body as he and his girlfriend were flipped right back up into the air, his hand releasing her boots. Then as they fell down again. He landed straight on his feet right back on Toothless's saddle. He held out his arms. Raya landed into them.

The crowd below cheered. Hiccup and Raya had performed an amazing routine of acrobatic stunts, flips with dragon's tails and a theme of trust and what astounding exceptions it could accomplish. The dragons landed and Hiccup and Raya dismounted. They were showered with flowers and people gathered around them, asking them questions about how they had executed such an unforgettable entertainment. Hiccup picked up a flower and then pushed it behind Raya's ear. She blushed.

The day turned to night and the five clans danced in the kingdom plazas. Tong danced with his wife, Boun, with a Tail friend of his, one he secretly liked and Noi, with the Ongis stacked on top of each other. Hiccup and Raya were in the centre. Raya's long hair waved in waves as they glided in circles. She was the most beautiful girl Hiccup had ever seen. He loved her so much. At a moment of distraction, he pulled her away and they met up with Toothless. HE ascended towards the full moon high above Heart Mountain. They flew around, watching the people party in celebration. To them, it wasn't the landscape that made Kumandra beautiful. It was the people, living in perfect harmony with one another.

"Thank you. For putting your faith in me," said Hiccup gratefully to Raya.

"Thank you. For trusting me," Raya held his cheek. "And for trusting in yourself. You never fail to amaze me," Hiccup blushed and pulled her lips to his mouth. They kissed. Toothless was a little grossed out but seeing Hiccup happier and stronger in spirit than yesterday was all that mattered to him.

The party ended. All guests were given accommodations. Sisu left with her siblings. Not before giving Toothless a nice lick on the cheek which his heart powerfully reacted to. Once dinner was done and their friends were given rooms in the palace along with their families, Hiccup walked to his room yawning loudly. Sharpshot and Smokey were already asleep around his shoulders. He passed by Raya in her green nightgown. "Good night my beautiful princess," He caressed her cheek.

"Good night my sweet prince," she flirted back. They embraced each other tightly.

"Thank you. For everything,"

Raya held him tighter before he released himself from their warm act of affection. She smiled. She walked to the castle balcony and saw her father awaiting her in his own nightgown. "What is that you want to talk about dewdrop?" he asked.

Fingers were twiddled. A moment was taken to pull herself together. "Ba…" Raya began. A hand reached behind for a secret pocket. "I've made this for Hiccup," she pulled out a small green velvet box. The lid was pulled and inserted was a ring of gold and a dragon of green jewels. "I want to marry him,"

She was expecting an overprotective father to talk like most dads would with their daughters. Warm colours were all she saw. A hand touched her cheek. "It makes me so happy to see you are finally ready for this step. You're no longer my little girl. You're a full-grown woman," Benja said proudly. "And there is no other one I'd see married to you than Hiccup,"

"He'll be twenty-two in five days Ba. It's time we showed him how much he means to all of us. And when the time comes, I'll ask him,"

Benja embraced her tightly. She hugged back. "I know your mother will be watching us, and her new future son-in-law. We start planning tomorrow," He gifted a peck of joy on her cheek and she departed to bed. In her bed, she lay on her side, eying the ring of matrimony as the jewels twinkled like green stars, like its future owners' eyes. Her eyes shut slowly as she dreamed about the glorious moment of which it would be slipped onto a finger, the moment when their lips would touch within five moons.

She would make this day magical, miraculous, marvellous. And most of all, rememberable.

That's the seventh chapter done. I really hope you all enjoyed this. See you all soon. Hopefully sooner. Bye for now.
