Chapter 13: Glitter Switchers!
"Gotta make it to school on time today Candy and Lana," Emily said as we were running to school. "Mom, can you slow down? My legs hurt." I whined. "Come on Lana it's not too far away." Scar said. "Yeah it'll make it two days in a row." Emily said. "Oh, that's weird. Look, there's two shooting stars." Candy said. "Really?" Emily said. "Huh?" I said. "They fell right over there." Candy said. "In broad daylight?" Emily said. "That's weird." Scar said. "Well, that doesn't make any sense," Emily said. "Come on let's check it out." I said and ran towards the stars.
Emily, Candy, and Scar followed me. There, we found four rings laying on the ground. We picked them up and looked at them.
"Well, I don't think they're stars..." Emily said. "Well, that's obvious." Scar said. "Maybe magic stars from outer space!" Candy said. "I'm no rocket scientist but... Normally shooting stars are... umm... well, you don't find 'em laying around on the sidewalk." Emily said.
"I wanna see one! Let me see it, Emily!" Candy said. "I wanna see too Mom!" I said. "Oh, okay here," Emily said and handed both of them to me and Candy. "Thanks!" Candy said. "Pretty!" Candy said as she looked at it. I admired the ring as well. "Scar, look at this ring!" I said and handed him one. "It's just a normal ring." Scar said. Candy and I yelped when suddenly the rings put themselves on our fingers. The rings also attached to Scar and Emily's fingers.
"Uh-oh!" Candy cried. "Huh? They put themselves on!" Emily cried. "What the hell? Get this off me!" Scar shouted and tried to pull the ring off him. Suddenly some weird bright light showed and magic was happening.
"Huh? Emily, Lana your gonna be late to school again!" Kelsey called as she walked by us. "Coming Mother!" I called. "I think I can still make it!" Emily called. "Hi, Kelsey!" Candy called. "Huh?" We all said, confused by each other's voices.
"Lana are you-" Scar started. "Candy what are you do-" Emily began. "Hey! Where did you get that Candy costume?" Candy said, looking at her body. "Why do you look a lot like me, Lana?" Scar asked. "What do you mean? I always had this body!" I said. "Why are you wearing me?" Candy said. We gasped and felt our bodies.
"I feel funny inside! Candy, I think..." Emily started. "What do you think?" Candy said. "I think we got switched!" Emily cried. I looked at myself and realized I was in Scar's body! And Scar was in my body! Emily was in Candy's body and Candy was in Emily's body. Kelsey walked up to us.
"Why aren't you two moving?" Kelsey said with a yawn. "Don't ask me how but... Candy's me and I'm her!" Emily cried. "And I'm Scar and Scar's me!" I cried.
*In the shadow realm, no POV*
"Oh! Where could those things have gone!? No!" Brooha cried as she frantically looked for her rings. Brute turned up the TV to max volume.
"Hello and thanks for tuning in! What have you got for us this morning, Lance?" The woman on the tv said. "Where could they be? I just had them! I can't find them!" Brooha cried. Brute got annoyed when a baseball was thrown at him.
"Hey! I can't hear myself think!" Brute shouted. "Brutes trying to think? That's new." Ulric said as he walked up to them.
"My latest and most brilliant concoction is gone! No doubt someone dumb is responsible." Brooha said. "Stop blaming me!" Brute whined. "What does this new concoction look like?" Ulric asked. "A lovely pair of rings! But these are magic rings! Made from a brew of bat fangs, moldy tree bark, a dash of DNA from identical twin toads, and a box of jelly donuts. There irresistible. I call them Ringadings!" Brooha said proudly.
"Well, that's a dumb name." Brute said. "For once, Brute's right," Ulric said. "Ringadings is incredibly catchy! Anyways, they were right here on the table. How could they have vanished?" Brooha asked. "Hmm... They were on the table?" Brute asked.
*Flashback*
"These smell delicious! Wonder how they taste." Brute said as he picked up the rings. Brute gave a loud sneeze, and the rings went flying out of the Shadow Relm.
*End of flashback*
Brooha was mad when she heard about this.
"You have the brains of a twig!" Brooha shouted. "She's right," Ulric said. "Oh, the shame." Brute said and pretended to be guilty. "Well, the mystery is solved!" Ulric said. "Yeah, so now you don't have to worry about what happened to 'em anymore." Brute said. "You're both blumberbrains! I don't even want your help! You want something done, do it yourself!" Brooha shouted and left the Shadow Relm.
"Witches, am I right?" Ulric said. "Mmm hmm." Brute said.
*At school, Lana's POV*
My family and I gathered around the courtyard to try and figure out this situation that was happening right now.
"It's true, I'm Emily," Emily said in Candy's body. "And I'm Candy!" Candy said in Emily's body. "I'm Lana!" I said in Scar's body. "And I don't know how but I'm Scar in Lana's body." Scar said. "This is a strange situation," Chloe said. "This is some weird witchcraft stuff," Ono said. "Unreal!" Lily said. "That sounds like something my little brother and sister would come up with," April said. "I can't believe they'd really make up a nutty story. I think they really did somehow switch bodies!" Kelsey said.
"We did and we need you guys to help us!" Emily cried. "Hey, wait, I just thought of a way that I can prove to you that I'm candy. Just watch my right ear." Candy said. "Seriously?" Candy said. "What about it?" April said. "Check it out!" Candy said. Candy began wiggling her ear. "Woah!" Everyone cried.
"That is amazifying!" Lily cried. "And weird," Kelsey said. "Not your standard ear behavior," April said. "I want to try that too! Just watch this, Candy!" Emily said. "Okay!" Candy said. Emily stretched her ears out. "That's it! Go!" Candy said. "Not easy!" Emily said. "Really concentrate!" Candy said. "You've almost got it!" Lily said. "Did I do it? I can do it now!" Candy said. "Yep. They're switched all right." Kelsey said. "This is kind of cuckoo!" April said.
"Wait, I have another way to proof I'm Lana," I said. "And what's that?" Sarafina asked. I put my paws on Chloe's shoulders. "Huh... what are you doing?" Chloe asked. "I love you, Chloe," I said and kissed Chloe. "Scar, what the hell? Not cool, man." Mufasa said. "No Mufasa, it's me," I said. "Yeah, there's no way I'd kiss Chloe." Scar said. "Well, I guess that's true," Mufasa said. "Okay, now that we know they're switched, what do we do?" Uru asked.
"Well, did anything weird happen on the way to school?" Chloe asked. Emily gasped. "It did, Chloe! These rings! You think these rings are what switched us?" Emily asked. "We were ourselves when we put them on and that's when all this started," Emily said. "Hm. There's one way to find out if these rings are the problem." Chloe said. "And that is?" Anga asked. "Take 'em off!" April said. Everyone tried getting the rings off of me, Scar, Candy, and Emily.
Anga used her talons to get the ring off me, but it didn't work.
"Ow, Anga!" I cried. "Sorry," Anga said and let go of me. "The rings are the problem alright," Chloe said. "How 'bout the charm we got the other day," Lily suggested. "Hey, yeah!" Kelsey said. "Here goes," Kelsey said and put the ring charm in the Glitter Pact.
"Activate Glitter Charms! Ring!" The woman said. "Woah, they're beautiful," Emily said. "Yeah, they really are!" Emily said. "Those are the prettiest rings I've ever seen!" Lily said. "Yeah!" Emily and Candy said. "Thanks!" Emily said. Suddenly, the rings disappeared. "No!" We cried.
"That didn't work!" Fuli said. "Why didn't it work?!" Kelsey cried. "Yeah... What do we do now? There's no way Emily and Lana can go to school like this." April said. Emily jumped into April's arms. "You think people will notice?" Emily asked nervously. "For now, Candy's just gonna have to pretend to be Emily and Scar is gonna have to pretend to be Lana," Chloe said. "This is like some freaky-Friday shit," Janja said. "Yeah, but one thing for sure is today is gonna be interesting," Jasiri said.
"Oh! That sounds like so much fun! Emily for a day!" Candy said. "Ugh, Mom, do I have to go to school today?" I whined. "Well, you do need your education, Lana," Uru said. "Don't worry Lana, I can do this." Scar said. "Okay..." I said. "Are you sure you can do this?" April said. "Oh, it's easy to act human! I've been watching all of you guys!" Candy said. "That's kind of creepy," Fuli said. Candy coughed. "Hairball." Candy said. "I don't like this," Emily whined.
"This is too weird for me. I'm out of here." Ahadi said. "Ahadi, can't you stay and help your kids?" Uru said with annoyance. "No! I refuse to help Lana! I am not going anywhere near her until they get this figured out! Now come Uru." Ahadi ordered. Uru sighed and followed Ahadi. Anga put her wing on my shoulder.
"Don't worry Lana, it'll be okay," Anga said. We then made our way to the classroom. Scar and Candy sat in our seats and I sat next to them while Emily hid in her bag. It felt weird being a lion.
"All right class, surprise quiz today!" Miss. Mason said. Everyone groaned and complained.
"Are you good at French?" Emily asked. "I could be. What is it?" Candy asked. "Yeah Lana, what is French?" Scar asked. Emily, Kelsey, and I sighed.
"Emily, we have rules, remember? Nothing is permitted on the desk during the exams." Miss. Mason said. "Oh right! I better hide somewhere!" Emily cried. Emily quickly hid somewhere.
"Uh, am I going crazy or did that stuffed animal just say something?" Miss. Mason said. "You should probably hand out the quiz right away!" April cried. "Yes, we wouldn't want to run out of time!" Chloe said. "Nice that you're so eager for a test! Okay, let's get started!" Miss. Mason said. "Candy, can you do this?" Emily said nervously. "Sure! I can do just about anything! As easy as cake!" Candy said. "You mean pie, but do your best," Emily said.
"Scar, please pass. If you don't Dad will kill me!" I cried, putting my paws on Scar's- or my legs. "Don't worry Lana, I got you." Scar said. I waited nervously for the test to be over. Then the test was finally over.
"That's it, class, times up. Pencils down and pass your quizzes forward." Miss. Mason said. "How'd you do?" Emily asked. "Oh, I nailed it!" Candy said. "Me too!" Scar said. "Uhhh..." Emily and I said nervously. "Don't worry!" Candy said. "Emily, Lana. If this is a joke, I don't get it." Miss. Mason said. Miss. Mason held up our tests with Scar's and Candy's pictures drawn on them. We gasped with horror as everyone laughed.
"Isn't it awesome?" Candy said. "Yeah, don't you like it, teach?" Scar said. I wanted the ground to swallow me up.
"I can draw one too if you like!" Candy said. "No 'A' plus, right?" Candy said. "Just stop talking," Emily said. "Only for effort. You two better come see me after class." Miss. Mason said. "Teacher likes me!" Candy said. I began to cry. The next class was English class.
"Okay, let's have Emily and Lana read the next section for us." The teacher said. "You have to stand up!" Emily said. "I'll read and you repeat whatever I say." Emily said. "Whatever I say!" Candy said. "Wait until I start! It was a dark and stormy night..." Emily said. "It was a dark and stormy night! Wait, no it isn't, it's a nice sunny day!" Candy said. Everyone gasped.
"Just say what I tell you to!" Emily shouted. "Sorry... in a city with no name... I say we name it Candy Town!" Candy said. Emily and I gasped. "I'm sorry, but that's not what it says in my book, Emily." The teacher said. Lily whimpered nervously.
"I don't think she's feeling well today!" Lily said. "Maybe you should take her to the infirmary to see the nurse." The teacher said. "Infirma- what? And what's a nurse?" Candy asked. Kelsey quickly stood up.
"No, no, no! Sir, she'll be okay just as long as she sits down and stays quiet!" Kelsey cried. "Well if your sure she's okay." The teacher said. "Okay yeah," Kelsey said. Next it was Geography class. Candy and Scar were drawing a picture on the chalkboard.
"Ta-da!" Scar sang when he finished. "And that's how it goes!" Candy said. "So this is it? Your map of world geography?" The teacher said. "No silly, it's the castle at Jubiland!" Candy said. "Mrs. Lebunsky I think Emily's just trying to show that the map of the world is made up of many different colors!" April said. "Or just illustrating the changeable nature of modern national boarders." Chloe chimed in.
"Well, this kind of creativity might be appropriate in your art classes..." Mrs. Lebunsky said. "Oh art classes! That's what I wanna do! Drawing, painting, colors! Drawing, painting-"
"BUT THIS IS NOT ART CLASS! THIS IS GEOGRAPHY!" Mrs. Lebunsky screamed. "Oh, this is terrible! When is this day gonna be over?" Emily whined. "I wanna die," I said. Next was science class.
"Now mix the elements together." The man said. "Oh, we're making dessert! Scar, watch this!" Candy said and began mixing all the chemicals.
"Ooh, that looks fun." Scar said. Scar began doing the same. Everyone gasped nervously.
"No Candy, Scar, No!" Chloe cried. "No, not the whole thing!" Chloe cried. "I made it yellow!" Candy said. "Me too!" Scar said. Then, the classroom exploded. Next, sewing class.
"Emily, Scar, that's not the way you use a sewing machine!" Kelsey cried. Candy and Scar were totally out of control with the sewing machine. Now time for gym. Scar and Candy were running around with a ball in their arms.
"Emily, Scar, you have to dribble!" April said. Everyone fell down and Candy and Scar ran out of the gym.
"And you're going in the wrong direction!" Kelsey cried. "Oh, God..." I cried. "I don't know how much more I can take," Emily said. After school we were all exhausted.
"So how were classes?" Nala asked. "What do you think, dumbass?" I said angrily. "Woah, Lana," Jasiri said. "Rough day..." April said. "You think?" Kelsey said. "We'll never make it through the week like this," Emily said. "Can someone please kill me?" I asked. "Easy Lana, I'm sure we will figure something out," Beshtie said. Just then Candy and Scar walked up to us.
"Hey guys, look what I got! Miss. Mason gave me an 'o' for awesome on my quiz paper! Take a look!" Candy said. "That's a zero... and it's definitely not awesome." Emily said. "But look she gave me all these extra prizes!" Candy said holding up paper. "Me too!" Scar said holding up more paper.
"Candy those are extra homework papers!" Emily yelled. "Yeah Scar, what the hell!?" I yelled. "I don't understand why your getting so mad at me." Emily said. "Because your wrecking everything! You messed up every class! I'll probably be in summer school till college!" Emily yelled. "And your ruining everything for me too, Scar! Dad is gonna beat me when he finds out I failed my test! And it's all your fault!" I yelled. "Hey don't blame me for this! I'm doing my best!" Scar shouted.
"Yeah, I'm doing the best I can, Emily!" Candy shouted. "Okay, let's not panic." Sarabi said. "Calm down." April said. "Once we get you two back to normal everything will be fine." Chloe said. "We just have to figure out those rings and reverse the curse." Kelsey said.
"What if we can't? What if we're both stuck like this forever?" Emily said. "Don't say that." April said. "Yeah let's not panic. Maybe Candy and Scar should stay home tomorrow." Chloe said. "Wait, where'd they go?" Lily asked. "Huh?" We said and quickly stood up.
"Oh, they must have run off! I shouldn't have been so mean!" Emily said. "This is my fault." I said.
*With Brooha at the police station, no POV*
"So what your saying ma'am is you lost your Ringadings... and what exactly are Ringadings?" The policeman asked. Brooha took a bite of her food.
"Only the greatest invention since the flying broom!" Brooha said. "Ringading is kind of a dumb name." The policeman said. "All right I get it! I'll come up with a better name! Once they're all in stores and kids bug their moms for 'em and children switching bodies creates worldwide chaos." Brooha said.
"Wait a second, what exactly is it that you do for a living ma'am?" The policeman asked. "Create sad endings for stories," Brooha replied. "Ah! Your a professional writer!" The policeman said. "No." Brooha said. "Huh?" The policeman said. "I'm more like a witch by profession." Brooha said. Suddenly, Candy and Scar ran past the police station. Brooha noticed the rings on their fingers.
"Hm?" Brooha said. "Ah! Those are my Ringadings! Come back here!" Brooha yelled and began chasing them.
"Ma'am I need to ask you more questions! What was that name again? And what will they be called?" The policeman called. "It's Ringadings you dingaling and I'll change it when I feel like it!" Brooha yelled. She continued to chase Candy and Scar.
*At the park, Scars POV*
I was with Candy at the park, still stuck in my wife's body. Candy was still stuck in Emily's body. I was still upset with what my wife and Emily said, so was Candy. Candy was ranting to herself while she was rocking back and forth on a horse swing toy.
"I don't see why Emily had to get so mad at me! Human school is really hard!" Candy said. "I know! Lana could have been more understanding to me too. It's not my fault I don't know anything about human school." I said. Candy then notices kids playing in the sand, so she walks over to them. I followed her.
"Wanna make a sandcastle?" The girl asked. "Yeah! That's so much better than school!" Candy said. I wasn't really into little kid stuff but might as well give it a try.
*With the girls, Lana's POV*
Emily and I sighed sadly. "I wonder where Candy went... I feel bad... I shouldn't have gotten so mad. She's always so happy. And I yelled at her. I know she wasn't trying to get me in trouble. She was just being herself." Emily said.
"And I feel bad for getting mad at Scar. I know he's trying his best since he changed... I should have been more understanding." I said. "Emily! Lana!" A voice called. The girls and my family walked up to us.
"Did you find them? Any luck?" Emily asked. "Not a trace," Kelsey said. "They sure are good at hiding," April said. "We checked back at home too, we couldn't find them there," Simba said. "Why'd she take off like that?" Lily asked.
"It's our fault. We shouldn't have yelled at them about what happened in school today. Candy's so young, and she really thought she was helping. It's not her fault she doesn't know about geography or science or sewing or sports. She was just doing her best. I really need to apologize." Emily said.
"I need to apologize too. It's not my fault Scar doesn't know anything about human school. And he's been trying his best since he changed." I said. "Then I guess we better find them so you can do that, Em and Lana." Kelsey said. "Don't worry we'll get them back!" April said. "Thank you!" Emily and I said.
"Split up! Everyone go a different way!" Kelsey said. "Right!" Lily said. "We have to hurry you guys!" Kelsey cried. "Hang on Candy, I'm coming!" Emily said. "Don't worry Lana I'll help you find them with my sight-seeing skills," Anga said. "Thanks, Anga," I said. "And I'm sure Dad will understand why you failed the test if you explain to him what happened," Mufasa said. "I hope so," I said. We then took off to find Candy and Scar.
"Candy, Scar, where are you?" Emily called. "Ugh, these legs are really short," Emily complained.
*With Scar and Candy, Scar's POV*
"This is gonna be a great castle, Jennifer! Just a little more and our tunnel will be done!" Candy said. The sand castle fell down. "Oh, bummer!" Candy said. "But now we can make it better!" Jennifer said. "Jennifer, time to go home, honey." Jennifer's mom called. "Okay, Mommy! Thank you, bye!" Jennifer called and waved to us. "See ya tomorrow!" Candy called.
"Okay... Tomorrow... What'll I do till tomorrow? Nobody left to play with. And I don't like being all alone very much. I wonder if... Emily misses me. She was so mad. I should probably go apologies to her." Candy said. "It'll be okay Candy. We did our best." I said.
"So here you are, you thieves!" A familiar voice said. "Who's there?!" I demanded as Candy and I turned around. "Oh no!" Candy cried. "Hand over those rings, my little pretty! Or I'm going to come and take it!" Brooha said. "Actually, could you bring it up here? I'm beat. I don't know what I was thinking climbing this thing. Or your gonna be sorry! " Brooha said. Brooha got out her book.
"I will bring forth a worse nightmare than you can ever imagine! I will paint the world of the future so black that all humankind will fall into a pit of despair!" Brooha shouted. Brooha splatted the black ink on her book and the sky turned green. Everyone at the playground was under the spell.
"Suddenly I'm in this pit of despair." A kid said. Brooha gave out an evil laugh. "Overwhelming negativity will descend upon you, and the power of all that bad energy will turn the Wheel of Doom, and I'll be closer to reviving my master, Nogo, Emporer of Evil!" Brooha said and laughed. Candy looked worried, so did I.
"What can I do?" Candy asked. "I don't know, but we have to do something," I said. "Hey, wait! I have an idea! Yeah, why not?!" Candy said. I smiled when Candy got out Emily's Glitter Pact. I took out Lana's Glitter Pact.
"Huh?" Brooha said confused. "Ha-ha! Here it goes!" Candy said. "Glitter Force Makeover!" Candy and I shouted. Nothing worked. "What the hell?!" I shouted. "Why didn't it work?! It used to always work!" Candy yelled. "Hold on... I get it! Your no Humans, you're that Pixi and Lion!" Brooha said. Candy and I gasped. "How did you know that?!" Candy shouted. "That Ringading worked! It switched you from an annoying furballs into an annoying girly." Brooha said.
"I miss that furball body." Candy said. "And I miss my lion body," I said. "Candy!" A voice called. "Scar!" Another voice called. We turned around and saw Emily and my wife, Lana in my body. The girls were also there as well as the rest of the family.
"There you are!" Emily said. "Hey, guys! Emily, I'm glad to see you again!" Candy said. I ran up to Lana.
"I'm glad to see you too Lana," I said. "Me as well. I feel bad for arguing with you." Lana said. "Me too. We never should have argued." Emily said.
*Lana's POV*
We found Scar and Candy at the park. We met up with them and reunited with them. They were happy to see us again, so was I.
"Isn't that heartwarming? Can it! I just found out that Glitter Lucky and Glitter Song here is really a Pixi and a lion so they can't transform!" Brooha said. "Uhh... Is that true?" Emily said nervously. "So what? The rest of us can transform!" Kelsey said.
"Ready? Insert Glitter Charm!" Kelsey shouted as the girls inserted their Glitter Charms into the Glitter Pacts. "Activate Glitter Pact!" The woman said. "All together! Glitter Force Makeover!" The girls shouted. "Glitter Puff! Apply Shades of Power!" Kelsey shouted. Kelsey and Lily giggled. "Watch out world!" April yelled. "Glitter Bands! Glitter Boots!" Kelsey yelled. Everyone applied their costumes on.
"Spring has Sprung!" April shouted. Everyone's big hair appeared, then they applied their blush on. Everyone landed on the ground when they finished transforming.
"When you mess with me, you're playing with fire! I'm Glitter Sunny!" Kelsey yelled and did her pose. "Puppies and kittens, the Power of Love! I'm Glitter Peace!" Lily shouted and did her pose. "A force as strong as life itself! I'm Glitter Spring!" April yelled and did her pose. "Cool and swift as the winter wind! I'm Glitter Breeze!" Chloe shouted and did her pose.
"Hmm. Come on out horsie Buffon!" Brooha yelled. "Buffon!" The Buffon yelled when it was summoned. The Buffon was a small horse toy.
"A little tinier than usual," Spring said. "Yeah!" Sunny said. "Ha! He may be small but he's still mighty." Brooha said. The Buffon jumped up to attack. Sunny jumped up to attack as well but the Buffon kicked her, causing her to fall down. The Buffon went over to Breeze to attack but Breeze dodged the attacks. Breeze was knocked down.
"Oh no!" Peace cried. "Breeze!" I cried. The Buffon snuck up on Peace and hit her, making her fall down. Spring gave a battle cry and jumped on the Buffon. The Buffon spun Spring around as she held on tight.
"What is this, a rodeo?" Spring shouted. "Buffon Bash!" The Buffon yelled and threw Spring off. Spring went flying in the air. Thankfully she landed on her feet.
"Buffon Springs!" The Buffon yelled and shot spiral springs at Spring and Sunny. The spiral springs trapped Sunny and Spring.
"Huh? I'm all wrapped up! And falling!" Sunny cried as they fell to the ground. "Buffon Springs!" The Buffon yelled again and shot the spiral springs at Breeze and Peace. Breeze and Peace got trapped in the spiral springs and they fell to the ground. Brooha laughed.
"That'll put a spring in your step! Now all that's left is... you four." Brooha said and looked at Scar, Emily, Candy, and I. "And you'll be no trouble at all! My magic rings switched you guys and as long as you wear them, you'll be helpless!" Brooha said. "So you're behind these rotten rings?" Emily said. "We should have known!" I shouted. "How do we get these off?" Candy said.
"Oh, you'll never get 'em off that way. You have to use my Ringading reverser." Brooha said. "Ringa- what?" Emily said. "What the hell?" I said. "No, never mind. Well, I haven't tried it yet, but I followed all the instructions, and I did come up with a catchy name... Backward Potion Motion! Hah!" Brooha said. "That's a dumb name," Sunny said. "Nobody's going to buy that," Spring said. "Yeah, pick a better name," Kiara said. "Everyone's a critic. Finish them off, Buffon!" Brooha said. The Buffon was gonna attack us, but Candy and Scar stood in front of us, with their arms stretched out.
"Not so faster, mister!" Candy said. "Wha? Okay, what do you think you're doing?" Brooha asked. "Good question!" Emily said. "I'm protecting them! I wont let either of you hurt them!" Candy said. "And I won't let you touch my wife!" Scar shouted. "Candy, no! You can't transform!" Emily shouted. "Yeah Scar, you can't transform either!" I cried. "Right now I'm not Candy! I'm Emily and I have to act like her! And the real Emily would never give up! She'd so everything she could to protect me! Everything! Her friends mean the world to her!" Candy shouted. "She's awesome!" Emily said.
"Hmph! What a bunch of malarkey! You are both useless if you can't transform!" Brooha said. "That's what you think!" Emily and I said and jumped out in front of us.
"Emily!" Candy shouted. "Lana!" Scar shouted. "You and your silly magic rings! Pretending you're a whole different person is too hard for everyone! But she did her best and she did really good, too! You leave her alone!" Emily yelled. "And Scar did his best in school today too! Leave him alone!" I yelled. Suddenly a bright light shown.
"Who turned on the lights?!" Brooha shouted. Candy and Scar smiled as they took out the Glitter Pacts.
"Let's try it!" Candy said. Emily and I nodded. 'Kay!" We said. "And by the way..." Emily said. "What?" Candy said. "I was so hard on you before, I'm really sorry. I know you were just trying to help out." Emily said. "And I'm sorry I was hard on you too, Scar. I know you did your best." I said. "You forgive me?" Emily asked. "Do you forgive me as well?" I asked Scar. "I'm sorry too, I was a bad you." Candy said. "And I was a bad you, too." Scar said. We giggled.
"Let's do this!" Emily and I said and held up the Glitter Pacts. "Insert Glitter Charm!" Emily and I shouted as we inserted out Glitter Charm into the Glitter Pacts. "Activate Glitter Pact!" The woman said. "Here I go! Glitter Force Makeover!" Emily and I shouted. "Glitter Puff! Apply Shades of Power!" Emily and I shouted. Emily and I applied on our costumes, then our big hair appeared.
"Woo hoo!" Emily and I shouted as we landed on the ground. "Magic and Innocence! The strength of a wish! I'm Glitter Candy!" Emily yelled and did her pose. "Strength and a leader! The power of a king! I'm Glitter Scar!" I shouted and did my pose. Candy and Scar gasped.
"Well, that's unexpected," Mufasa said. "I'm adorable!" Candy shouted. "Ugh, I look hideous." Scar said. "No Scar, you look so cute!" Uru said. "Shut up, Mom!" Scar shouted. Uru giggled.
"Glittertastic!" Peace said. "It actually worked!" Breeze said. "Woop-de-do! With that tiny body and lion body, you're still useless." Brooha said. "Ugh, she's right!" Glitter Candy said. "What am I gonna do?" I said. "Wait! Try using your ear power!" Candy said. "Huh? Okay!" Glitter Candy said. "And try using the mane power." Scar said. "Okay," I said. "Yeah!" Glitter Candy and I shouted and jumped up to attack the Buffon. The Buffon jumped up to attack us.
"Ear power?" Sunny said. "Buffon!" The Buffon yelled and kicked at us. Glitter Candy and I dodged the attacks.
"That's the way, Emily!" Candy shouted. "You can do this, Lana!" Kiara said. The Buffon jumped up to attack us again. Glitter Candy used her ears to attack the Buffon and I used my mane to attack the Buffon. The Buffon used his tongue to hit us.
"She's laying a ponytail pummeling on that Buffon!" Spring said. "All right! She's kicking some Buffon Butt and she's looking cute doing it too!" Candy cheered. The Buffon began chasing us.
"You can do it, Glitter Candy and Glitter Scar!" Peace shouted. "He's right behind you!" Sunny said. "Keep running and maybe you can wear him out!" Spring said. "Got it, Mama!" I said. Glitter Candy and I continued running until the Buffon hit the wall.
"What are you stopping for? Catch them before they get away!" Brooha shouted. "Buffon!" The Buffon yelled and shot the spiral springs at us but instead, they went right toward Brooha. Brooha quickly jumped out of the way.
"Watch where you aim those things!" Brooha yelled. "Now it's my turn!" Sunny yelled and rolled her way toward Brooha. "Uh-oh," Brooha said. Brooha was pushed back, causing her to drop the potion.
"My potion!" Brooha cried. Candy caught the potion. "Yes! I got it!" Candy said. "Yeah, great catch!" Spring said. "Nice one, Candy!" Fuli said. "Get them already!" Brooha yelled. "Blast that Buffon!" Candy shouted. "Buffon head-butt!" The Buffon yelled. Glitter Candy and I gave a battle cry and attacked the Buffon. He landed on the sea saw.
"Time to bounce!" Glitter Candy shouted. Glitter Candy and I jumped onto the sea-saw, making the Buffon go flying into the air.
"Buffon!" The Buffon shouted. "Oh, yeah!" Candy cried. "It's Glitter Time! Glitter Force! Sparkle Storm!" Glitter Candy yelled and shot her Sparkle Storm at the Buffon. "My turn! Glitter Force! Sparkle Wave!" I yelled and shot my Sparkle Wave at the Buffon. Music from Beethoven's Symphony no. 5 played as it shot at the Buffon.
"Buffon!" The Buffon yelled as it was defeated. A Glitter Charm landed in Candy's hands.
"Oh, awesome!" Candy said. Candy put the Glitter Charm into the Charm Chest.
"We just got our eighth charm! A cherry blossom!" Candy said. "Neat," Anga said. "Argh! You brats win again! But I'll catch you on the flip-flop!" Brooha shouted and disappeared. "Another dumb name," Sunny said. "Oh, can it!" Brooha shouted. Everything was back to normal.
"Let's go on the slide!" A boy said and giggled. "Okay!" The boy said. "Let's try just a little..." Emily said. Candy poured a little potion on the ring. "It's not doing anything!" Emily said. Emily and Candy gasped when the rings were taken off of them. Candy and Emily were turned back to normal. They cheered and hugged each other.
"We're finally back to ourselves again!" Emily said. "Let's try it, Scar," I said. "Alright." Scar said. Scar poured a bit of potion on the ring. When he did that, the rings were taken off of us and we were back to normal. I was in my body and Scar was in his original lion body.
Scar and I cheered and hugged each other. "We're back to ourselves again!" I cheered. Scar and I kissed. "Glad to have you back, Lana," Anga said as she hugged me. "Same here I missed you," Chloe said and hugged me as well. Chloe, Anga, and I kissed. Just then, Ahadi walked up to us. We haven't seen him all day.
"Uru! Where were you?!" Ahadi yelled. "I was just helping our kids, Ahadi," Uru said. "Are they back to normal now?" Ahadi asked. "Yes, they are," Uru said. "Good. Lana, we need to talk. I found a bunch of these papers and your test that has an 'f' mark on it. Care to explain?" Ahadi said angrily and held up the papers. Scar and I looked at each other nervously.
"Uhh..." I started. I yelped when Ahadi shocked me. "Tell me now!" Ahadi yelled. "Okay. I screwed up on the test. I accidently got some questions wrong, so I got some extra papers." I said. Ahadi growled and punched me, making me fall to the ground.
"Hey, leave her alone!" April shouted. "Stay out of this, or you all get hurt!" Ahadi yelled. Ahadi punched me again. I cried in pain when he scratched me a few times. Ahadi shocked me again, and punched me a few more times before he roughly grabbed me by the chin.
"Listen here you brat. You are to raise your grades. If you don't then your punishment will be worse. And you are grounded for 2 weeks for failing this test. Understood?" Ahadi said. "But I-" I started but Ahadi gave me another shock, causing me to cry out in pain again.
"I don't wanna hear it! Raise your grades!" Ahadi yelled. With that he left. I sighed. Chloe put her hand on my shoulder.
"Don't worry sweetie, I can help you with your studies," Chloe said. "Thanks, Chloe. I just don't understand it. He has changed a lot since you and I got together. But I don't regret being with you." I said. "I don't regret it either," Chloe said and kissed me. I kissed back. "Okay, you lovebirds," Kelsey said. "We should start heading home before it gets dark," Emily said. "Okay, Mom," I said.
"This was the most unusual day ever," April said as we were walking home. "Yeah! Switching bodies, magic potions, dumb names..." Kelsey said. "I didn't like being trapped in a giant metal spring or bouncy Buffon," Lily said. "Weird-o," Kelsey said. "I still have all that homework to do when we get back," Emily said. "No problem, Em! I'll help you do it!" Candy said. "You wanna draw another world map?" Emily said. "Yeah, sure! You want a new one?" Candy said.
"Yeah!" Emily said. "Hey girls, we'd love to walk with you but we've got maps to draw and French to write, and maybe even practice a little dribbling! Yay!" Emily cheered.
With that, we made our way home to complete our mission of finishing our homework.
