Hey guys! So I know you've been wanting another Chapter so here we go! Enjoy! Stay Safe and Blessed!

Mercedes sat at her desk going over the numbers for the afternoon meeting when her assistant Jesse St. James buzzed her.

"Mrs. Smythe, there is a delivery for you, and they said they need you to sign for it."

Mercedes sighed. "Jesse, can't you handle it?"

"No, ma'am, it says the sender needs your signature only."

"Okay, send the end. And when you return from lunch, please make sure you organize the Walters file."

"Sure thing."

Mercedes removed her glasses and pinched the bridge of her nose, it had been two weeks since she embarrassed herself by going to Sam's classroom, and she had pretty much given up on them being anything more than what they were. The worst part about all of this was that this weekend, she had to go with Zo and her class for their overnight camping trip.

Usually, Sebastian would go, but Josh was playing in a basketball tournament, and while Mercedes would have preferred to go there, Josh asked for Bas and Blaine to take him while Zo begged her to come camping.

As the other moms hit on him, Mercedes would spend the weekend trying to avoid Sam. She rolled her eyes at the thought when a knock took her out of it.

"Come in."

The door opened, and she saw a huge bouquet of lilacs and wildflowers.

"Flower delivery for Mrs. Mercedes Smythe?"

"That's me; if you put them on the table over there, I can sign for them." Mercedes pointed to the conference table in the room adjacent to her office, and the doors were open to extending into hers. She looked back down at the paperwork and felt the man move behind her.

"You know, when someone goes through all of the trouble to bring you flowers, you should at least pretend to enjoy them."

Mercedes shivered at the feel of Sam's breath on her neck; she turned to face him, shocked he was there. "Sam? What are you doing here?"

His hands moved to her chair, pulling her from her desk. "Returning the favor."

"Returning the what?" She asked as Sam fell to the ground, spreading her thighs.

"Look at you wearing a dress because you knew I was coming in here."

"Sam, you can't do this right now?" She said as he ran his hand up her thighs.

"I think I can."

Someone knocked on her door, and Sam moved under her desk and turned her chair towards the door. She tried to close her legs, but Sam held them open, kissing a trail up her thigh.

"Mrs. Smythe, I am headed to lunch. Is there anything else I can do for you?"

Mercedes swallowed as Sam ran his tongue along her slit. "No!" She yelped. "Go on to lunch."

"Are you okay? You are looking flushed."

"Am I? You know I am feeling rather…hot." She hissed out that last word as Sam pushed a finger inside of her. "I might need to take the rest of the day off."

Sam smirked, adding a finger, and Mercedes groaned, gripping the desk.

"Yeah, I am feeling…Ohhh… boy, yep, not well at all." She tried to cover as Sam moved his fingers faster, flicking his tongue at her clit.

"Mrs. Smythe, should I call someone?"

Mercedes curled her toes, trying to stop from moaning. "No, thank you. I am going to be okay. Why don't you take the rest of the day as well, goodbye J-Jesse."

Jesse looked at her for a moment before turning and shutting the door. Mercedes let out a long moan, spreading her legs wider. "Yes! Sam, don't stop!"

Sam grinned; he loved when she begged him not to stop. With her entirely giving in to him, he pushed her chair back, lifted her up to her desk, and laid her across it. He moved to sit in her chair and smiled.

"Now, lets see how many times I can make you cum before you beg me to stop."

Mercedes was about to protest, but Sam placed her legs over his shoulders and dove right in, licking and sucking as she writhed beneath him. His name left her lips, and it egged him on. As he sucked on her clit she came crashing down, and he added a finger, thrusting hard as his tongue flicked and teased her clit, causing her to cum for the second time in less than three minutes.

Mercedes ran her hands through her hair as Sam added another finger staring at her.

"You think you can take another one?" He teased, working his finger faster as her walls clenched around him. "You are so sensitive today."

"Sam! Please, I need to feel you…."

Sam pulled her up from lying back and crashed his lips to hers as he moved to his belt. "Should I use a condom?"

"Do you need to?" She asked, gripping his exposed cock. "I'm clean and have the IUD."

"I am clean too, and I really loved getting to feel all of you last time."

Mercedes nipped his lips. "Then I guess you don't need one."

Sam nodded, pushing himself inside of her, but stilled, causing her to whine. "I'm in."

Mercedes snorted. "Uh yeah, pretty sure you are."

Sam chuckled, moving. "No, I'm in; I can't fight this any more than you can. And so if that means I get to have hot, forbidden sex with you." He pushed deeper inside of her as his lips nipped hers. "Get to talk to you and know you. Then I'm in."

Mercedes shuttered as he moved faster. "Me too…but we can't have sex this weekend."

Sam smirked. "We will see about that."

Mercedes was on air; after two rounds in her office, she walked him to his car just to get sidetracked by his smile, and they fooled around in the back seat.

They would've stayed back there if his lunch hadn't been over. Walking into the house, she was met by Sebastian. "Hey Merce."

"Why are you waiting for me like a dog with a bone?"

"Jesse called and said you had some flowers delivered, then you started acting weird and gave him the day off."

"I'm sorry my assistant is calling you and reporting to you? How long has this been happening?!"

"Look, I may have paid him to let me know when the flowers got there…."

"You knew Sam was coming?"

Sebastian smiled. "How do you think he got your address? So tell me everything?"

Mercedes shook her head. "After I make dinner."

"I know tonight is your night to make dinner, but I figured you might be busy. So I told the kids Blaine and I were taking them out."

"Well, you were wrong. We agreed to take it slow and get to know each other."

"Well, if you insist on cooking…maybe you should invite him over."

Mercedes laughed. "And why would I do that? So you can grill him and embarrass me? No."

Sebastian laughed. "I am gonna do that anyways. Don't you want to be here when I do?"

Mercedes shook her head. "No, besides, Sam has to prepare for the camping trip, and we have to prepare as well."

"Excuse you, I have already made a list; Carrie just has to pick it up."

Mercedes nodded as Josh walked through the door. "Mom, dad…everything okay?"

"Of course!" Mercedes said, smiling. She moved towards her son, who was 12 and already taller than she was. "I was telling your father I am cooking tonight, so no fast food nonsense for you."

Josh smiled at her, and she cocked an eyebrow at him. "What in the world is that look for?"

"I dunno, mom, you look…happy."

Sebastian smiled. "She does look happy! I wonder why?"

Mercedes rolled her eyes. "I am happy, Josh. You are growing into such an amazing young man, and I am really proud of you. I wish I could be there to see you play this weekend."

"Dad will be there, and Blaine…you get to have fun with Zo."

"And Sam," Sebastian mumbled.

"Sam?" Josh questioned. "Sam, who? Do you have someone, mom?"

Mercedes sighed. "I don't…I don't know."

"It's okay if you do, mom. We understand the situation; we get it. And you deserve happiness."

Mercedes moved closer to him. "Okay, spill it; why aren't I allowed to come to the game."

"Because I want my mom happy, I have to have an ulterior motive?"

Mercedes folded her arms. "Spill it, or I'll cancel your phone plan."

Sebastian shook his head no as Josh shrugged. "What? Huh? What are we talking about?"

"Joshua Gerald Smythe!"

"You scream way too loud that I am your baby and embarrass me in front of the guys and cheerleaders," Josh said quickly.

Sebastian yelped as Mercedes frowned. "I didn't know I embarrassed you."

"Not all the time, but at big games, you lose it, mom. You yelled at my soccer finals because that boy clipped my legs."

"He did it on purpose!" Mercedes defended.

"I think what Josh is saying is that you feel things very, very boldly. It was the same way when I used to play, and you ran on the court and slapped that Nick kid for a legal block." Sebastian said, laughing.

"You know what, fine! I didn't want to go to your stanky game anyways." She said, walking away.

"Yes you did." Sebastian teased.

Mercedes stomped her foot angrily. "I know!"

Mercedes placed the last bag into the trunk. "Zo, let's go over the checklist one more time, make sure we didn't forget anything."

"But we are already packed? Do we need to unpack?"

Mercedes laughed. "No, I checked everything off as we packed. I just want to make sure I didn't miss anything."

Sebastian handed Zola an apple juice as Josh walked out. "Zo, you wanna wear my lucky hat so you won't get lost in the woods?"

"I'm gonna get lost?" Zola asked, fearful.

"Josh stop teasing your sister; she won't get lost; I will be there to make sure she is okay."

"And Mr. Evans! I think he likes mom; he was happy when I said she was coming camping, and he asked me three times." Zola beamed.

Mercedes blushed and looked down at her checklist.

"I think your mom likes him too." Sebastian teased.

"Bas!" Mercedes gasped, tossing the sleeping bag at him.

"Is that true? Do you like Mr. Evans? Are you going to date him?"

Mercedes sighed. "I don't know. But before anything serious happens, I will talk to you like Daddy did."

Zola shrugged. "I like Mr. Evans just like I like Blaine."

"Let's talk about something else. Like Josh, do you have your retainer?"

"Yes, it's in my bag next to my toothbrush." He said.

Mercedes pulled him to her and hugged him. "Did you clear a space on the wall for your trophy?"

"I only get a trophy if I win, mom."

Mercedes kissed the top of his head. "I know you are going to win." She checked her phone, then placed the leopard print and the Princess Tiana sleeping bag in the trunk.

Sebastian came out with an extra pillow and opened her sleeping bag before rolling it back up in it. "Just in case one doesn't do it."

Mercedes smiled. "Thanks."

"I gotta say I am impressed with my girls! Only one duffle bag each?"

"Mom snuck a bookbag in there!" Josh said.

"Joshua! What did I say about snitches!" Mercedes said.

"Only snitch on, dad."

Sebastian shook his head. "Really. Let's get going; we have to drop you and Zo off at the school, then go pick up Blaine so we can hit the road."

"I think we have everything. Do you have your allergy meds, Bas? You know you can't sleep if you don't take them."

He shook his head. "I know, I have it. Do you have your head wrap?"

"Yes, I do, but I got my hair braided for this reason." She said, flipping her medium box braids in his face. "Who knows what we are doing."

"Yeah, daddy, it's why I got my hair braided, too," Zola said, flipping her braids with beads.

Sebastian shook his head as he got into the driver's seat. "Okay then, come on ladies, you can whip your hair back and forth on the way."

As they arrived at the school, and Sebastian and Josh helped Mercedes, and Zo get their bags; she searched the sea of faces looking for Sam. Seeing him stand up from loading the bus, surrounded by women, caused her to frown.

Sebastian took her hand. "Stop worrying." He said in a low tone. "He likes you."

"Yeah, well, how many other people does he like?"

Sebastian shrugged. "Pretty sure just you." He nodded back toward Sam and smiled as he winked at her.

"Zo, kiss daddy goodbye. Josh, I know you are going to do great!" She hugged him, kissing his forehead.

As Zo and Mercedes made their way over to the bus, she stopped seeing one of the moms press into Sam. "Mr. Evans, I was thinking we could sit together on the bus; I would love to get…closer to you." She said.

Sam laughed. "Sorry, Mrs. Norris, but I already have my bus partner. Seats were chosen at random. But you will enjoy sitting with Mr. Green."

She pouted, reaching for him, but he avoided her and moved to Mercedes. "Mrs. Smythe, glad you and Zo could make it! Well, aren't you just glowing, Lil one? You and your mom got your hair done yesterday?"

Zola nodded. "Yes. Is Avery here yet?"

"Yes, she is; she's saving your seat." Sam smiled. "Your mom and I will put these up and join you guys."

Zola handed Mercedes her pink duffle and hopped onto the bus. "She's really excited."

Sam nodded. "I can tell. Most of the kids are excited. I don't know if it's the two-hour bus ride or camping, but it's one or both of them."

Sam placed the final bags into the bus, and Mercedes chewed her bottom lip, smoothing out her ankle-length jersey dress. "I guess I should find my seat."

Sam smiled. "I can help you with that. It just so happens that you are seated in the back of the bus with yours truly."

Mercedes turned towards him. "Really? Is that a coincidence, or did a certain teacher make that happen?"

Sam shrugged. "Maybe we just got lucky, and now I get to sit with you for two hours and learn all about you."

Mercedes grabbed her blanket from the duffle bag and smiled. "Lead the way."

"A blanket?" Sam asked, surprised.

"I like to be comfortable, and buses are cold. I am sure I am not the only one. I have one for Zo too." She said, walking onto the bus and smiling as she watched Zo and a bunch of her friends giggling. Zola's best friend, Avery Chang, waved at her as she passed their seat.

"Hi, Ms. Mercedes."

"Hi, Avery! Did your mom tell you that you will come home with Zo and me this weekend after camp?"

"She did. Can we do our nails again?"

Mercedes smiled. "Yes. I am inviting Zo's Aunt Santana over, and she will set it up for us. And don't worry, Annie, I will go ask your mom if you and Sarah can come too."

All four girls squealed happily, and Mercedes sat down, pulled out her phone, and sent the text. Sam sat next to her.

"You made four little girls very happy."

"They are great girls. I try to be off on most weekends so I can make sure I get to do things like this and have mani-pedi with the girls. Or take Josh and his friends bowling or to laser tag."

"You play laser tag?" Sam asked, surprised.

Mercedes laughed. "I had to learn. Those preteen boys are vicious."

Mr. Abrams, the other third-grade teacher, stood up. "Hey guys! We are about to hit the road. A few things before we do. Please stay in your seat; your seat buddy will be your weekend partner, including chaperones! Mr. Evans and I are really thankful to you ten parents who volunteered to help. Having thirty kids this weekend will be a lot easier with you."

He nodded to Sam, who stood. "Now we have assigned each pair of chaperones with five kids you will watch over. Once we get there, you will be broken into two groups. Group A. will be with Mr. Abrams, and Group B will be with me. For now, sit back and enjoy. We know we said you could pack snacks, but we will stop at a rest stop that has a few different places to choose from." As the bus started to move, Sam sat down, and so did Artie.

"So let me guess, we are going to be together all weekend?" Mercedes asked.

Sam smiled. "Yes. And I can't wait to get to know you better. I say we start right now."

"Shouldn't you be paying attention to the kids?" She teased.

Sam took Mercedes's blanket and spread it over them both. "Let's play a game?"

"What kind of game?"

Sam turned towards her and held out his hands. "Hot hands. For every time I hit your hand, I get to ask you a question you have to answer. For everyone I miss, I answer your question."

Mercedes put her hand on top of Sam's. "Let's go."

Sam stared at her for a moment, then went to slap her hand, nipping her fingers. "It counts as the first question. Have you ever been in love?"

She nodded. "I have, once in College. But I had to marry Sebastian, so I made the difficult decision to let him go."

"Was it hard?"

"The hardest thing I ever had to do at the time. But he deserved to figure out what he wanted to do, and it wasn't with me." She said. "Sebastian helped me through it. And I helped him through his heartbreak. My turn." She said as he placed his hands on hers. She tickled his palm for a moment before slapping his hand. "Got you!"

"Yes you did. Ask away," he said.

"Are you still in an open relationship with that girl from the bar?"

"No. I wanted to be with you. She didn't compare…why did you decide to marry Sebastian instead of following your heart?"

Mercedes looked over at Zola. "For my family's legacy. See, I had come home with a resolve to tell my family to shove it, and I was going to find Anthony and be happy. But then I spoke to my Grandfather. One of the only people other than Sebastian who was honest with me most of the time. He asked something of me and said it was my choice."

"What did he ask?"

Mercedes sighed. "My maiden last name is Jones, and I am the granddaughter of Gerald Kennedy."

Sam linked his hands to hers. "Gerald Kennedy, as in former Mayor Kennedy? He and his wife left like half a billion to schools and group homes."

Mercedes nodded. "That was the choice."

Sam shook his head, "I don't understand."

Mercedes sighed. "I am CEO of Kennedy studio, my Grandmother's legacy. He told me that I had two choices. I could find Anthony and marry for love. Or I could marry Bas and save his legacy. My parents would have taken it all for themselves. They were wealthy but were never satisfied. He left me in charge of his estate to execute it as he wished. And trust me, my parents tried their best to fight the will. Hated that he gave so much to charity. My parents had the power to overturn his will, but being a Smythe before my Grandfather died gave me more power then they had. It saved his Legacy."

Sam exhaled. "Wow, so you chose to help others rather than fight for love."

She nodded. "Still like me?"

Sam smiled. "You better be lucky we are on a bus with people around us, or I would show you just how much I like you."

She smiled, running her hand over his thigh. "What about you? And your family?"

Sam sighed. "I have two siblings, Stevie and Stacey, and I have two very adoring parents, Dwight and Mary. My childhood was pretty normal until my dad got hurt on the job. He was a Construction worker, and the union fought for him to receive workers comp. He had to fight for 9 long months, so I had to leave College and work in place of him. It was…a dark time, but I made it out of the other side, and now I am helping those who need it."

"By teaching." She said.

"That, and helping different places when I can, its how I knew the name I help out and The Kennedy Center."

Mercedes raised an eyebrow. "I can't believe I have never seen you there! I am there most Tuesday's nights to help feed the homeless. We all are."

"I am there on the weekends, my only free time. That place is how my family ate for a while."

Mercedes looked at him. "Sam, are you sure this is what you want? To be with a woman who is married? I don't know when the divorce will happen; I don't want to waste your time."

Sam looked around the bus, and seeing no one was looking at them; he stole a kiss. "You are worth the wait."
