Davina knew New Orleans had been quiet lately. She had sensed something one day, but it wasn't uncommon for magic to be used. She had just assumed the Mikaelsons were taking some time for themselves away from everyone else.
But then she realized she wasn't alone. There was someone else here, and it didn't take her long to spot them. She had to admit she was surprised. Of course, she had learned to expect the unexpected. But that didn't mean seeing Esther again was on the list of things she thought might happen. But if she was here, she might know something. So Davina cautiously approached the older witch, careful not to give away her true intentions.

Esther was surprised she had managed to keep a low profile for so long. This was a place where her children had made both friends and enemies. Naturally, she had done the same. But if no one realized what she had done, maybe it could still turn out alright for everyone. She secretly wished she could go to that foreign land and see what was happening. But that would be dangerous.
But even as she was thinking about all of it, she saw someone else had come into view. She recognized her. This was Davina, someone she knew better than to trust. But if she was coming to her, she could at least find out why. She smiled as the young witch got closer, careful not to give anything away. "Hello Davina."
Davina frowned. "Esther. I'd say it's nice to see you again, but I don't know if that's true yet."
Esther nodded. "I know. You probably think I know where my children are. All you really need to know is that they're safe. Or at least safer than they were here."
Davina frowned. "What does that mean?"

Esther smiled. "They'll be back. But where they went.. the people there needed help. And we all knew they could help them."
Davina frowned. "And you expect me to believe it was a willing choice?"

Esther sighed. "Not entirely. But I believe it will be in the end." It wasn't entirely true, but she knew her children. It was possible they would find people they cared about in Westeros.
Davina frowned. "Very well. We'll give it a chance. For now."
