Hello hello all, and welcome back to this little collection of mine. After the downer that was the last shot, I decide to bring to you a silly little wholesome shot I thought of at some point. Not much to say here about this one, so I hope you enjoy it!

Synopsis- At the monthly meeting of the L.O.S.E.R club, a newcomer to the fray shakes things up a bit, and perhaps, for our poor not so star-crossed lover, for the better!
Drip drip drip.
The rain continuously fell. Slowly and meticulously. As a cloaked figure grumbled, her figure obscured by her coat, hat protecting her hair from the now damp environment. As she walked the streets, she sighed,
"My. This is always why I do so much detest having to come all the way to Lastation. It's always so rainy. What a gloomy city. It simply never changes. " She mumbled, as she continued towards her destination. She had been here many times throughout her life, and it always felt like whenever she did, it was raining. Perhaps it was just bad luck, or perhaps divine intervention, for the sole purpose of laughing at her. But she doubted it.
Drip drip drip.
The rain continuously pelted her, sogging her, even through her coat. Shaking her head, she continued along. At the present, she was on her way to a special club meeting. Perhaps 'club' would be the wrong word to describe the den of madness she was journeying to. Cult was perhaps too kind to describe the machinations the twisted minds worked on. As she approached the designated meeting location, looking around to ensure that no one had followed, and she was alone. She knocked in a very specific pattern to indicate to the members that the person at the door was friendly.
Opening the door, a young woman brightly with brilliant black hair smiled, her red dress ever fitting her, as she invited in the cloaked woman, taking her coat, the young woman looked at the previously cloaked woman with intrigue as she started up a conversation,
"Oh- Lady Vert? What can we do for you?" The young woman asked, as she took her seat back near a table. Gathered around it were 3 other women, who also looked at Leanbox's CPU with confusion, usually the meetings just included them. Who had invited the busty blonde to their den of infinite madness?
"I have heard there is a group that meets in the Lastation basilicom that helps maidens with their woes in love. Am I in the wrong place?" Vert asked with her usual suave voice, responding to the young woman who had invited her in. The young woman, who was none other than the former Gold Third of Lastation, K-sha.
Vert was fairly unfamiliar with the young woman herself. She had asked S-sha at one point to tell her about all her friends, only to receive the expected response of 'not interested'. Of course, Vert had anticipated as much going in. S-sha was a particularly melodramatic one, and even if they had become reasonably close, or as close as that could mean to the silver haired woman, she still was hard to get any personal information out of.
As for what she had been able to deduce about K-sha herself? She knew as much that she was very very partial to Noire, almost to the point one may label it as 'obsession'. It was almost fascinating in a way. Although, with how poorly Noire managed social situations, Vert figured she far from minded the attention, and, if Vert had to say snidely, a friend.
"Yes, that's right." K-sha quietly responded, "Anyone is more than welcome, take a seat" she offered, and Vert soon obliged as she sat down next to the raven-haired high schooler. Looking around the table, Vert noted all the other members present at the moment, before hearing one of the other women gathered around the table speak up, soon finding it to be the CPU candidate of Lastation herself,
"How did word spread so far about this little club me and K-sha made up?" She bemused, looking to Vert for answers, who simply shrugged, unwilling to disclose the means by which she happened upon the info, instead electing to let the other co-founder speak once more,
"This is the 10th meeting of the club known as Lovers Overly Suspecting Expected Romance, Lady Vert is now our 5th member." K-sha clasped her hands together as she opened the meeting. Vert brought her finger to her chin as she thought over what she had just heard,
"Uhm. Ladies? I don't mean to be the one to bring it to your attention, but that acronym spells-"
"We know" Uni and K-sha both responded at the same time, and Vert could only slowly blink,
"I see '' It appeared the L.O.S.E.R club was no accident after all. Though she was somewhat taken aback by the speed by which the two had accepted it, was it intentional? Questions for later she supposed.
"Ahem… So, why are you here today, Vert?" Uni started up the meeting by looking at the newest member, who only sighed, as she leaned her head on her hand, overly dramatically, if Uni had to say,
"It appears my princess has been taken to another castle…" She vaguely started up, causing all the other members to look amongst themselves, before one of them finally spoke up,
"Your… princess?" The voice of the savvy guild veteran from Planeptune, often referred to as the 'windwalker of Gamindustri' asked. IF had been the first member to join after the founding 2, after she accidentally stumbled in on their meeting, and attended all future meetings, finding solace in the fact she was not alone in her ineptitude.
"Yes… it appears Blanc has taken to spending simply far too much time with that woman from the Gold Third. She drags her hunting far too much for my tastes, and Blanc is not as available to game with me." She lamented, and seemingly every member was taken aback for a moment at the revelation.
"Wait… I thought you two hated each other?" Uni asked, having seen those two bicker amongst themselves for… well her whole life.
"C-sha…?" K-sha pondered about her friend, she didn't exactly know her friend to be the romantic type, hell she had never even had a partner as far as K-sha knew. Not that any of the gold third had… yet. B-sha was too young, S-sha was… S-sha, and C-sha didn't seem to be particularly interested, which left K-sha. But, her heart already belonged to someone…
"Yes… I could see how you would get that impression. But I assure you it is far from the case; over the years I seem to have found myself quite fond of her company. That woman of the Gold Third, she is quite commendable, a figure that rivals my own. She also appears to quite appreciate the simple joy of annoying Blanc. How tragic. I cannot find it in me to have any sort of disdain for her" Vert explained, and a silence befell the room, before K-sha eventually spoke up again,
"I had heard that C-sha was quite close with Lowee's CPU, but I do not believe it is to that extent" K-sha tried to explain, but Vert simply put the back of her hand to her forehead as she dramatically responded,
"Oh, but that's only the start… How long until my princess has been taken from me" She bemoaned, and everyone else could only nervously laugh, before Uni decided to move the meeting along, clearing her throat, she spoke up,
"Ok… we'll get back to that… uh… K-sha, anything new you want to bring up?" Uni soon turned to her friend, as she quickly saw a bright smile break out on the highschoolers face,
"Why yes! This will surely get my precious Noire's attention" She dreamily explained, as she handed Uni an envelope. Curiously, Uni opened the envelope, reading the contents, before very casually shredding the note in her hands, to the shock of the rest of the L.O.S.E.R club.
"K-sha"
"Yes, future sister-in-law?" K-sha smiled gently,
"How many times do I have to tell you… you can't put a hit job out on another nation's leader, just because my sister may or may not be in love with her!" Uni lectured as she threw the shreds of the note aptly titled 'The Assassination of Neptune' into the fireplace,
"Tsk… you're no fun" K-sha blew her hair strands out of her face with a pout, resting her hand in her palm, couldn't Uni see? This was for the greater good.
"You can't just kill her!" Uni yelled at her friend, this had to be at least the 5th time Uni had given this lecture.
"Wait, I feel like this somehow involves me" The last member to speak up finally made her presence known. Nervously she laughed as she worried about her other self. The dimension-hopping, bug-hunting, Ultra Dimension Neptune inserted herself into the conversation, eliciting a lighting quick response from the former Order member,
"Are you interested in my Noire?" She interrogated, and Neptune leaned back in her chair, hands behind her head,
"Not particularly, think I'll leave her for my hotrod other self." She explained,
"Then you are safe" K-sha coldly explained, before receiving a smack to the back of her head,
"Everyone will be safe!" Uni yelled,
"Tsk…" K-sha lamented, before turning to face her assailant, "What about you, Uni? Anything to report?"
"Yea, any luck with my bombshell younger sister?" Neptune seconded, before Uni sat down, crossing her arms with an embarrassed huff,
"No…" She quietly responded, and Neptune narrowed her eyes on the shy adolescent,
"Wait, I thought last time we agreed you'd ask her to hang out?" Neptune interrogated, as Uni shrank herself more and more,
"Well… I… I…" She didn't want to explain what had happened, but it appeared she had no choice, "I got too embarrassed…" she eventually explained, in truth, she had done well! She had gotten herself all the way to Planeptune this time! She even got to the basilicom, and was looking face-to-face with Nepgear… only to give some half-assed excuse as to why she was there… Uni cringed at the memory. Why was she the way that she was?
"Ahh man! You will never get the girl like that!" Neptune lectured, and Uni grumbled in response,
"I know that… But it's so damn difficult. What if she says no…?" Uni expressed her worries. She was glad she had the support of the group, aiding her, and giving her all the mental support she could use in order to aid in her never-ending quest to win the heart of Planeptune's CPU candidate. But it was just so hard being honest around her. Every time she tried; the words just came out all wrong.
"C'mon, Gear ain't the type to let you down hard, even if she did" IF pointed out. For the longest time, IF had been able to see how Uni acted around Nepgear. She had been able to figure out relatively easily and quickly just how deep Uni's affections ran, and while IF couldn't honestly tell if the feelings were reciprocated, she did know for a fact, however, that even if they weren't there was no way the gear head would let her down hard. It wasn't in her nature.
"I know… I know… But c'mon, you know what I mean, right Miss IF? She's just such a ditz…" Uni pouted, and IF let out a chuckle as she considered her own situation,
"Ha! Tell me about it, sometimes I think Compa is actually too ditzy to ever find someone!" IF found this little group she stumbled upon to be a great way to vent about her frustrations about her longtime friend/totally not massive crush. IF couldn't even remember at this point how long she had been in love with the nurse at this point. But even now, she was no closer to nabbing the ultimate prize then she was all the way back when the two were young.
As the two united over their anguished attempts to decipher the raw ditziness of their lovers-not-to-be, Vert looked on, before she felt curiosity burn in her mind, deciding to get answers, she looked over at the purple-haired member of the club, before starting,
"My, Neptune? What are you doing here?" She asked, amicably, and as Neptune spun in her chair, her face devolved to a pout, before eventually explaining,
"Uzume is a big dummy!" She lamented as she stopped her chair, crossing her arms for emphasis, as Vert tilted her head,
"Care to elaborate?"
"She's dumb! I do all my fancy stealthy flirting and show off my totally sexy bod, and she still doesn't get the hint! I know she's totally into me! I can see those looks!" Neptune grumbled on about her traveling companion, and Vert considered it for a moment, before offering her conclusion,
"Have you ever considered that maybe it's because you do that around everyone?" Vert pointed out the potential fault in Neptune's naturally very flirty personality. In response, Neptune raised her finger to counter, she soon pouted even harder as her finger crumbled down to her side,
"Well… it's special when I do it for her… can't she see that…" She huffed, and Vert couldn't help but chuckle,
"Well, what have you been trying?" Vert asked, imploring the busty bug hunter to continue, who still crossed her arms in defiance.
"Well… we always bathe together… I even let her touch my chest. How dense can she be!" Neptune complained, and Vert couldn't help but feel a sweat drop work its way down her face, she really didn't want to point it out to her, but she felt she had almost an obligation,
"Uh… Neptune. You touched my chest when we were in that public bath might I point out" She pointed out, and Neptune seemed to strain her mind for the memory, before throwing her hands up,
"That was different!"
"How so?"
"..." Neptune fell silent, as she embarrassingly held her pouty face, "just is" she eventually added, and Vert considered she should probably drop it for now, having already made her point. Additionally, it appeared the other 2 had finished their conversation from earlier, electing to further her own case, she spoke up again,
"Well, ladies, do you have any ideas as to what I should do?" she let the question hang in the air before the floor was taken by the quiet highschooler,
"I think you might want to talk to C-sha, like I said earlier I doubt that her goals are in opposition to your own, I've never known her to be the romantic type," K-sha explained. She hadn't talked to C-sha much on that topic, as it never seemed to cross her mind, yet she never in all her time knowing her friend, knew her to be interested in finding a partner. Although, she considered, C-sha did tend to speak very glowingly of Lowee's CPU, so perhaps it was a possibility.
"Hmm I see… and what if it happens that she is?" Vert asked, and K-sha seemed to fall silent for a moment. Ordinarily, she would have several methods of accomplishing this. But, C-sha was a friend, and a good one as well. Those methods would prove to be unnecessary. Eventually, it was the brunette of the group that added in her own thoughts,
"Well, have you ever let Blanc actually know about how you feel? I mean, you two do tend to argue a lot" IF pointed out, and Vert nodded along,
"Perhaps you have a point. I have always viewed our relationship as fairly well defined, but perhaps I was wrong. We do get along quite a lot better than you may figure, the time we have known each other has allowed for this. I suppose it may prove to be useful if I articulate myself better, assuming this C-sha woman does not prove to be an obstacle" Vert pondered the issue, her hand to her chin, before being sucked out of her thought by a quiet voice across the table,
"Miss Vert?" It was Uni, who seemed nervous about whatever was on her mind,
"What is it? I thought I told you; you can just call me 'big sis'" Vert responded, and after choosing to ignore the second part of her response, Uni continued,
"Aren't you scared?" Uni eventually asked, and Vert tilted her head in response,
"Why, scared of what?" Vert asked, and Uni took a deep breath before forcing the question out,
"Scared of rejection. Scared that you'll push her away?" Uni's question silenced the other members of the L.O.S.E.R club, as they let Vert formulate her response,
"Hmm, for me? I think it is that I have known Blanc for an exceptionally long amount of time, and we both are in a position where it would be hard for her to just ignore me, even if she wanted to. Additionally, I think it always better for one to have spoken their part, and let themselves be known, than to live with indecision and regret." Vert spoke from her heart as she tried her best to reassure the candidate. As a goddess, it was her role to be there for the candidates as they matured, and as they grew. Although, to that end, she figured she had to add one more thing,
"I must say Uni. It doesn't sound like you were asking that to me." She pointed out, and she saw as Uni gulped, the nail having been hit straight on the head,
"No…" Uni quietly responded, and Vert softly smiled as she felt the need to continue,
"Then, who were you asking it to?" Vert asked, and Uni took a moment to gather herself, before responding,
"...myself" Uni eventually added, looking down. That was really it, for as long as she could remember that was what always stood in her way. Fear. She was scared. She couldn't handle the rejection; she could not lose Nepgear because of her stupid feelings. The idea terrified her. The fear was almost crippling.
"I figured as much. Then let me ask you this then, Uni? What are you scared of?" If Vert were to be able to aid Uni here, she needed Uni herself to know what the issues were, and for her herself to be able to say it out loud.
"I…" Uni opened her mouth to speak, and yet nothing came out. Until she felt a hand work its way onto her shoulder, looking over to see the smiling face of her human friend, who despite having tried to kill her at one point, was someone Uni knew she could rely on,
"It's ok Uni. Isn't that why we founded this silly club in the first place? So we can talk out our problems? Instead of letting them settle inside us?" K-sha asked, and Uni gave a weak smile in response.
That had been it, those numerous months ago. When K-sha noticed that something seemed to be sitting in Uni's mind. She had eventually been able to deduce (not through spying on her or anything) that Uni's issues all revolved around the lilac-haired gearhead from the nation that B-sha had ruled. K-sha had eventually been able to convince her to meet every so often, so the two could discuss their issues. And for K-sha it certainly helped her, and she could tell it seemed to be helping Uni as well. This was the last push she needed.
"You're right." Uni gently smiled, as she took a deep breath, "I'm scared that… I'm scared that I'll lose her. I'm scared that Nepgear won't be there anymore…" Uni eventually forced the words out, and Vert nodded, before cupping her chin with her gloved hand,
"Why is that a scary thought to you?" She asked yet another question, and Uni scrunched her face, as she thought of the answer,
"Because. Nepgear was my first friend… She was the first person who ever believed in me. She's the one who showed me that I can trust in other people. I know I can trust her. And, I can't afford to not have her around me, she's so important to me." Uni explained, and Vert brightly smiled, as she put both her hands on Uni's shoulders.
"Don't you see, Uni? You said it yourself. You trust Nepgear. So, trust her with your feelings, trust her, that she'll still be there with you" Vert smiled as she tried to assuage the worries that seemed to be plaguing the candidate, who let a bright smile overtake her features.
Was it really that simple? Probably not. And Uni had no doubts she would still have her struggles. But even if that may be the case. She knew, the L.O.S.E.R club would be there for her, they would help her, and maybe one day, she could finally manage to graduate from being such a loser.
Bonus-
Somewhere in Planeptune, as the lights flickered, in a room, whose location had been kept under as serious wraps as could be realistically attained, a group of women made their way in, sitting around their usual rounded table.
"Alrighty, gals! Today is that time of the month! You know what that means! It's time for our bi-monthly meeting of the Social Club Romantically Untying Blocks group!" Neptune enthusiastically started the meeting of their secret society, looking around to see all the usuals, all 3 of them, not including herself.
"Man… can we change that name… Totally uncool" The ancient CPU who had ruled before Neptune bemoaned the name that they had decided to use, Uzume made it a habit to complain about the name every time.
"I think it's fine, Nep-Nep thought of it after all, '' Compa dizzily added, not seeing the problem with the name.
As for the final member? She held her tongue, understanding why Uzume would have issues with the name, while also understanding why her sister found it to be so amusing.
"Alrighto, Nep Jr! Anything to add?" Neptune soon turned to her sister, as she started the meeting, Nepgear, who took a long sigh before starting,
"Well… Uni came over during the week, and I was super excited that she wanted to see me, but she was just here because she just happened to be in the area…" Nepgear lamented, as Neptune internally sighed, her younger sister's Tsun translator could surely use some work. But, that's why she was here! It was her genius, and status as the main character that would get all these lovely ladies their dream girls! And she would do it, in the name of the S.C.R.U.B group!
I see you made it through another one, I have a few reviews this time, so I'll get right to it,
Gigarot- yea it's been done a few times, mainly got popularized by rick and morty and the likes, but I do like you picked up on all the little things that I thought made my take on it a little fresh. Poor Uni didn't even know what to think anymore, yk what with finding out her girlfriend is actually a different her that killed who she thought was her girlfriend, although she does eventually just accept that that is her Nepgear now.
Tony Anderson- well, I hope that was a good thing, I tried to make it be like almost a little twist when it's revealed its conquest Gear, so hopefully I was successful there.
end5- Why thank you, I'm glad you liked crazy conquest Gear, I thought I wrote her in an interesting way. As for the second part, conquest Gear probably thinks the only fate befitting the death of Nepgear is to die by Gehaburn, so poor hyper Nepgear is now fuel for the weapon.
