Author's Note:

Only a few days after the last chapter and I'm already back with the next one! Granted, this one was easy to write because it's the next Aftermath episode, but oh well. I was really, really excited to write this one. I can describe my excitement for this one in one word: Deedee.

But anyway, let's answer some reviews and get right back to it!

Dunsparce519: I wish I could've gotten more plot out of Sonya, but alas, that wasn't the case.

Fantasy Lord 77: You're definitely right, all of the remaining boys are there for their own reasons. They only reason they are together is because they need to be united should the girls try to kick them out one by one. Sort of the same reasoning as the original Guy's Alliance in TDI, which is what I was going for. Only these guys are even more strained with their alliance then they were.

Zibster: Welcome back! So glad you spent all that time writing that long review, and I'm glad you're enjoying the story so far! As for your predictions, well...you're actually not that far off for a few of them. Can't wait to reveal over the next few weeks/months how close you were!

Now...on to the drama!

A red carpet was rolled out. Three letters—a T, a D, and a C—unfolded from the carpet. As they came into focus, the word "Aftermath" appeared in a flash of light underneath the letters. Clips began to play then of highlights from the previous few episodes.

Suddenly, Fang leaped from the pond again, taking another bite from the platform. Maeve gritted her teeth in determination and continued on.

Fang then jumped up in front of her, growling and leering at her. Maeve screamed in terror. But then the swinging wrecking balls hit the shark yet again, sending him flying back down into the pond below.

Desmond stared in horror as all the gators stood up on their back legs and roared at him. "Uh oh," he gulped.

"Don't worry, Desmond!" Deedee yelled, pulling out a second cherry bomb and lighting it with a match. "I'll save you!"

"Deedee, no!" Sara yelled. But DeeDee was already throwing the cherry bomb into the enclosure. "Fire in the hole!" she cackled.

The explosion blew out the window and the walls.

Charlie, meanwhile, was examining the platform thoughtfully. After a few seconds, he cracked his knuckles and took off running. He only made it a few feet before another spot of the platform dropped off into a trapdoor. But he leaped at the last second, did a front flip, landed well, and kept on running, eventually making it to the other side.

"Show off," Hunter muttered.

"Look, I know none of us particularly like each other," Nigel went on. "But look around you. We have, in this room, the strongest camper, smartest, and most determined campers left in the game. If we band together, we can easily dominate this game and make it to the final five."

"And then?" Logan asked.

"Then it's everyone for themselves. But the only way we all make it to that point is if we work together." Nigel looked around the room. "So, are we in agreement?"

*Intro*

(As the intro music begins to play, cameras are seen popping out of a skyscraper window, a manhole, a streetlamp, and a trashcan. The clapper claps.)

Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doing fine

(Chris is seen driving by in a sports car as the camera goes down a runway)

You guys are on my mind

(the camera pans into a building and off a diving board into an indoor swimming pool)

You asked me what I wanted to be, now I think the answer's plain to see

(In the water, Sarah is swimming gracefully as spikes are shooting past her. The camera pans to the surface, where Jared is sitting in a rubber raft with Maeve. The spikes puncture the raft and the two begin to sink. The camera quickly moves outside, where Otis and Tara are working on a generator together.)

I wanna be famous

(The camera pans over to the side, where Todd and Rita are working on an experiment. Todd pours a liquid into a beaker, which explodes and coats both him and Rita in ash, while Yves watches disapprovingly from a shadowy room in a nearby building)

I wanna live close to the sun

(Harmony is seen in a park meditating, unaware of Zander performing a magic trick right in front of her, though his trick is interrupted when a raccoon jumps out of his magic had and latches onto his face)

Well pack your bags cause I've already won

(Charlie and Lana are side by side practicing the same ninja fighting moves as William and Nicole kiss next to them)

Everything to prove nothing in my way

(Malik is running at top speed away from a flamethrower wielding Deedee. As he is running, he is caught in a trap that yanks him up to the top of a small building, where Hunter is waiting with a knife. Kaia stands disapprovingly behind him)

I'll get there one day

(The scene pans into a kitchen, where Logan is photographing a pot of mysterious food. Clover appears behind him, shocking him, but Chef then appears behind Clover and chases the two out of the kitchen)

Cause I wanna be famous

(At a table just outside the kitchen, Theresa is focused on her writing while Tim is next to her typing on a laptop. A spotlight drops on the table, causing both to jump in surprise)

Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah

(In an alley, Hannah battles back against Sara, who is trying to pummel here with fists covered with boxing gloves)

I wanna be. I wanna be. I wanna be famous.

(On a street, Desmond and Moira are both in go karts, trying to knock each other off the road. Alex skates in between them both while Lance tries to catch up to her on a motorcycle)

I wanna be. I wanna be. I wanna be famous.

(The scene pans to a stage, where Sonya is playing her electric guitar and singing along to the lyrics into a microphone. The scene pans back to show it was on a monitor)

*whistling the main theme*

(The scene pans down, where Nigel is seen showing a clearly impressed Erin a collection of watches under his jacket. The scene zooms out to show the rest of the cast, with Chris off to the side. Sonya plays the last guitar rift of the theme song on her electric guitar)

The Aftermath logo intro played again before the scene switched to a fancy looking studio. There were three couches: one of the left, right, and center of the stage. The couch at stage left held the previous contestants from Total Drama Danger Zones and the eliminated contestants from Total Drama City. On the couch in the center sat Marvin and Amber. The couch on stage right was empty. There was the sound of applauding.

"Hey, hey, Total Drama fans!" Marvin announced. "Welcome back to Total Drama Aftermath, the after-show where you get the goods on all your favorite eliminated Total Drama contestants."

The audience cheered and applauded. "Thank you all so much for your support," Amber said. "Thanks to you, tonight's Aftermath show has the most viewers yet."

"Even one viewer would've been an improvement on before!" Kyle called out. "The only reason everyone's here tonight is because of one guest, and we all know which one that is!"

The audience laughed. "As we were saying," Amber said, flashing Kyle an annoyed look. "So much has happened since we last saw you."

"With everything that's been going on, it almost feels like it's been a year since we last did one of these," Marvin added.

"Since we last saw you guys, five more campers were eliminated," Amber went on. "And these past few episodes have been absolutely brutal for the returning campers from last season. Power players like Nicole, Desmond, Deedee, and Charlie have all gotten the boot, leaving only Alex, Logan, Moira, and Todd left from last season's cast."

"They're going to have to work hard if they don't want the rookies to beat them out for the million dollars," Marvin added. "But we'll hear from Nicole, Desmond, Deedee, and Charlie tonight, as well as the most recently eliminated contestant, the hit teen rock idol that has millions of adoring fans around the world, Sonya!"

The audience roared with anticipation. "But first, let's start off with our first guest tonight: Nicole!" Amber announced.

The back screen began to play highlights of Nicole's time in the show. "Nicole started out strong, just like last season, only this time with the support of her boyfriend, William," Amber began.

"But unfortunately for her, she became just another lab rat in Rita's experiments," Marvin continued. "She really loved testing that mind control serum on her for some reason."

"But in the end, her team just lost too many times, and Nicole was the odd one out," Amber concluded. "So, put your hands together, everyone, for our first guest: Nicole!"

The audience applauded as Nicole walked out, taking a seat on the empty couch. She didn't look too happy.

"Nicole, you don't seem like you're happy to be here," Amber noted.

"Of course I'm not. I'm ticked," Nicole shot back. "You'd be ticked too if you spent half the season as someone's zombie servant."

"I'd think that you'd be madder about being betrayed like that by Moira," Marvin commented.

"Oh, trust me," Nicole growled, slamming a fist into her palm. "That Scottish brat is going down."

"Even though you've seen the footage showing that Moira's being blackmailed by Rita?" Marvin asked.

"She shouldn't have given in to Rita's demands," Nicole insisted. "Why is she even doing it, anyway? Whatever Rita's got on her can't be that bad."

"We're not here to talk about Moira," Amber said. "We're here to talk about you."

Nicole crossed her arms. "Well, I'm not really in the mood for talking."

"Well then, it's the perfect time to introduce today's special truth-seeking game, 'Truth or Flying Fish!'"

"Truth or what?" Nicole asked.

"Don't worry," Marvin told her. "All you have to do is tell the truth and you won't get hit by flying fish. Now, next question: who do you think is the biggest threat still left in the game?"

"Hunter," Nicole said without hesitation. "He's the strongest player there. Get him out, and it's anyone's game." Instantly, a large salmon flew from the other side of the stage, smacking Nicole in the face.

"Clearly, you don't think he's the biggest threat," Amber said once the audience stopped laughing. "So who's really the biggest threat?"

Nicole sighed. "Fine. Rita is. She may not be strong, but she's wicked smart, and with a lab filled with all sorts of twisted experiments, if she keeps this up, she might be unstoppable."

"Do you remember what kind of experiments you were subjected to?" Marvin asked.

"I wish I did," Nicole admitted. "But it's all just a big blank. I'm just glad enough to be out of there and back with my friends."

"Anyone in particular?" This question came from William.

Nicole extended her arms out. "C'mere, you." William ran to her and pulled her into a long kiss.

"All right, all right, that's enough of that," Amber said, pushing the pair aside. "Next up on our guest list is the bad boy from last season, Desmond!"

"Desmond's season started off exactly as we all expected," Marvin began as clips of Desmond's time on the show played in the background, "with him continuing his rivalry with Moira."

"But as the challenges went on, Desmond found himself in trouble more and more as even stronger players overshadowed him," Amber went on.

"He might've been able to make a name for himself again, if not for the walking disaster known as Deedee," Marvin said, "whose actions caused Desmond to be medically evacuated from the game. So, straight from the emergency room, put your hands together for…Desmond!"

The audience applauded as Desmond, completely wrapped in bandages and a full body cast, was wheeled out by Deedee.

"Uh, Deedee, what are you doing?" Amber asked.

"Desmond can't speak thanks to these bandages," Deedee explained. "So I volunteered to speak on his behalf."

"And Desmond's okay with this?"

Desmond made a muffled attempt to speak, but his words were unintelligible. "Yep!" Deedee translated.

"Well okay then!" Marvin decided to go with it. "So, Desmond, how does it feel to have to be medically evacuated from the show, once again losing out on a chance for one million dollars?"

Desmond made a few muffled sounds, which were once again unintelligible. "He thought it was cool to fight robot alligators," Deedee said. "And really, really hot being almost blown up."

Desmond's muffled protests got louder. "He also says he likes ice cream and totally forgives me for all injuries," Deedee went on.

Desmond's protests got even louder at that.

"Desmond, do you really think you could've won it all?" Amber asked. "Especially with Moira and Hunter still in the running?"

"He says that anyone that thinks he couldn't beat Hunter should jump into a pool of lava," Deedee translated.

"Uh…oookay then," Marvin said. "I don't think this conversation is really going to get us anywhere."

"What's that, Desmond?" Deedee put her ear to Desmond's head. "You're feeling cold?" She took a lighter out and flicked it open. "I can warm you up."

"Deedee, no—" Amber started. But Deedee was already lighting Desmond's bandages on fire, cackling.

"Put him out, put him out!" someone yelled as the stage descended into chaos as the eliminated campers ran to try to find a fire extinguisher.

"Uh, we'll be right back!" Marvin shouted over both Deedee's cackles and Desmond's muffled screams. "With more interviews from Deedee and Charlie! Cut to commercial, cut to commercial—" The feed on stage cut out to an image of Chef running for his life from Fang and the words "TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES. PLEASE STAND BY."

The Aftermath logo flashed by as the audience applauded and the scene returned to the studio, where the guest couch was now severely scorched.

"Welcome back, Total Drama fans!" Marvin said. "Before we continue, I just want to assure everyone that Desmond is fine. He just had to go back to the hospital. Again."

"But will he survive a new round of medication?" Rob called from the side. "Find out after a word from our—"

"Anyway," Amber interrupted. "Before we talk with the psychotic maniac that almost burned down the studio—"

"That's me!" Deedee was already sitting on the couch, having apparently decided to wait for her time to shine.

"—it's time for another edition of everyone's favorite highlight reel, 'That's Gonna Leave a Mark!'" Amber finished. The audience cheered as the monitor started showing painful highlights.

-Todd landing on the ground hard

-Fang getting hit with a wrecking ball.

-Desmond getting attacked by robot alligators

-Desmond getting blown up by Deedee

-Sara falling off the platform and getting electrocuted

-Clover blowing up on a landmine

-The pandas leaping on Todd and beating at him, mostly on his kiwis.

-Clover kicking Hunter in the kiwis.

-Logan falling on his back before getting buried by a mountain of golf balls.

-The hill exploding in a pillar of fire

-A spotlight falls onto Sara's head

-Nigel getting blasted by the meatball cannon

-Lance and Alex hitting the ground before a giant anvil crushes them.

-Chef running into a panda, sending it flying. Seconds later, a helicopter crushes Chef

"Don't you think it's taking things a little far modifying footage like that?" William asked as the audience applauded.

"Nope!" Amber replied. "Now, let's get ready to introduce our next guest, Deedee!"

"What exactly can we say about Deedee?" Marvin asked as clips of Deedee's time on the show began to play on the back monitor. "She's once again proven that the producers don't do a background check on anyone applying to be on Total Drama."

"Translation: she's a nutjob," Amber added. "She's easily the most psychotic player to date."

"But also the most unpredictable." Marvin broke in. "I mean, seriously, joining an alliance with Kaia? Who could ever see that coming?"

"So please help us welcome our next guest…" Amber put a hand to her earpiece. "Fire rescue squads on standby…Deedee!"

With a cackle, Deedee leaped off the couch, did a front flip, and landed back onto the couch. "Deedee, welcome back," Marvin said.

"Glad to be back!" Deedee answered.

"So, Deedee, where does this love for fire come from?" Amber asked.

"What's not to like about it?" Deedee asked. "It's fire! It's awesome!" She cackled again.

"But where does that love for fire come from?" Amber repeated.

"From me, obviously!"

"That's not—" Amber put a hand to her forehead. "Never mind."

"Why did you join Kaia's alliance?" Marvin asked.

"Because she was right about Rita," Deedee explained. "And she needed someone to help fight against her. Plus, I thought it'd be fun!"

"Do you have any regrets?" Amber asked. "I mean, you lost out on a million dollars for a second time. That's gotta hurt, right?"

"Nope!" Deedee cackled. "I'm just here for fun!"

"Somehow that doesn't surprise me," Marvin muttered.

"Well…okay then, Deedee," Amber said. "I think that's about all we have for you and all we're going to get from you."

"Does that mean I can burn down the stage now?" Deedee asked, pulling out a lit torch.

"No!" everyone shouted.

"Aww, you're no fun!"

"Moving on," Marvin said. "It's time to talk about our next guest: everyone's favorite ninja, Charlie!"

"Charlie once again emerged as the strongest player in the game right from the start," Amber began as clips of Charlie's time on the show began to play. "But he was quickly dealt a curveball when he had to watch his girlfriend get viciously eliminated."

"Hey! I voted myself off!" Lana yelled from the couch of the other eliminated contestants.

"But despite this, he fought on, dominating in nearly every challenge," Marvin went on, ignoring Lana's interruption. "Once the merge came along, he was all set to dominate his way to the finale."

"And he easily could've pulled it off if Todd hadn't pulled a daring stunt and gotten him out of the challenge, leading to his elimination," Amber concluded. "So, please welcome our next guest: Charlie!"

The audience cheered and applauded as Charlie walked out. "Thanks for joining us today, Charlie," Amber said.

"I didn't have a choice," Charlie reminded her. "It's in all our contracts to have to appear here."

The audience chuckled at that. "Right then. So, Charlie, how does it feel to be voted out by people you thought were friends?" Marvin asked.

"I've seen the footage," Charlie answered. "The people I befriended didn't vote me out. The only one that did was Moira, and she was forced to do so because of Rita."

"Aren't you mad at Moira for betraying you like that?" Amber asked. "After you worked so well together last season to try to get rid of Kaia?"

"As I said—she's only doing this because Rita is blackmailing her," Charlie insisted. "Knowing Moira, she's dying on the inside with every betrayal and sabotage she's forced to make."

"Speaking of Rita, what are you thoughts on her?" Marvin asked.

Charlie's eyes narrowed. "I'm only going to say this once: she's going to pay. I saw what she did to cause Lana's injury. Rita better hope she wins, or she's going to have a lot of people coming after her."

"Wow. That seems like a pretty serious threat," Marvin commented.

"It is," Lana spoke up. "He doesn't make threats like that lightly."

"Well, sounds like Rita's toast the next time Charlie sees her," Amber joked.

"One more question for you, Charlie," Marvin said. "Todd. He kind of came out of nowhere in that challenge and took you out. Are you mad at him."

"Of course not," Charlie insisted. "In fact, I was impressed that he decided to take himself out of the challenge in order to take me out too. I never thought he'd have the courage to do that. He's grown a lot since last season. Granted, that growth was solely for the purpose of taking me down, but hey, a goal's a goal."

"Wow. That was pretty deep," Marvin commented before turning back to the camera. "We're going to take a short break now."

"But when we come back," Amber added. "We'll be talking to the singing sensation and Total Drama's most famous contestant even before coming onto the show, Sonya! This is one interview you don't want to miss."

The audience cheered and applauded as the Aftermath logo flashed by.

A new title flashed upon the screen, with words reading "On the Road, with Quincy" and a picture of a smiling Quincy. An announcer announced, "And now it's time for "On the Road with Quincy", the part of the show where Quincy travels around the world to ask others how they're feeling about the new season of Total Drama."

The scene switched to Quincy, who was standing in a South American village. "I'm here in Peru," he explained. "Trying to talk to people about Total Drama City. Unfortunately, no one in this village has even heard of the show, meaning I'm down here for nothing. Remind me to have a word with the producers about this—"

A cracking sound suddenly came from the nearby field. Quincy whirled around as something blurred by the camera. "Did you—" He paused. "Dude, I think that was the Chupacabra! Maybe this trip was worth it after all!"

He began running in the direction of the blur. "If I can be the first person to catch the Chupacabra on camera, I'll be world famous!" Quincy exclaimed happily.

However, when he finally stopped halfway up a mountain, panting there was still no sign of the creature. "Where did it go?" Quincy asked.

A low rumbling began to shake the mountain. "This is it!" Quincy yelled, raising his camera to take the picture. His jubilation turned to horror as a stampede of llamas came charging down the mountain path right at him.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!" he screamed as he was caught in the stampede, which began to trample him. "Whhhhyyyyyy?!"

Eventually, the stampede had passed. Quincy struggled to rise, completely dirty and bruised. "Okay…I think it's gone," he said, stumbling slightly. "And I lived!"

That was when he stumbled off the edge of the path, falling off the mountain. "Oh, come on!" he screamed as he fell out of the camera shot.

The scene returned to the title card. "This has been 'On the Road with Quincy,'" the announcer said. "Tune in next time to find out how to survive a llama stampede."

The Aftermath logo flashed by as the audience cheered and the scene returned to the studio.

"Welcome back to the Aftermath show, folks!" Marvin announced. "We've had some great guests on the show tonight, though none of them are trying to hide their true thoughts, meaning we wasted a lot of money on the fish ammo for 'Truth or Flying Fish.'"

"You mean the money that's coming out of our already small paychecks?" Amber questioned.

"You guys are getting paid for doing this?" Theresa asked in astonishment.

Marvin ignored her. "And now, the moment you've all been waiting for—"

The cheering in the audience got louder. Amber waved her hand for quiet. "As we were saying," she said. "It's now the moment you've all been waiting for—"

The cheering started up again.

"If you could all just be quiet!" Marvin yelled. "We can introduce our final guest of the night!"

The audience eventually quieted down. "Thank you," Amber thanked the audience. "And now, let's talk about our final guest tonight, Sonya!"

The back monitor began to play highlights of Sonya's time on the show. "Fans around the world were shocked to see Sonya join the cast of the show," she began, "And she instantly proved that she wasn't just another pretty face."

"That girl had serious game," Marvin commented. "She may have been too loud in the mornings, but she made up for it for being very strong, very determined, and very flexible."

"But in the end, the newly made Guys Alliance decided she was the biggest threat to them, and thus teamed up to eliminate her," Amber finished. "So, help us welcome our final guest of the night: Sonya!"

The audience roared with cheering and applause as Sonya walked out with her guitar. "What's up, my fans?!" she yelled, which caused the cheering to get even louder.

"Welcome to the show, Sonya," Amber said as Sonya quieted the crowd down and took a seat on the couch.

"Great to be here, guys," Sonya said, leaning back against the couch.

"Really?" Marvin asked. "You're not sad about losing out on a chance to win a million dollars?"

Sonya shook her head. "It was never about the money for me. If I had won, I'd have donated every last penny. Everything I do is for the fans." The audience cheered.

"You're saying you would've donated the money if you won?" Amber asked.

Sonya nodded. "I already make a lot of money from my music. I don't need another million dollars."

"If you're not in it for the money, then why'd you come onto the show?" Marvin asked.

Sonya smiled. "Sometimes a girl's gotta get away for a bit. I hoped doing this show would help me find some new inspiration for my songs, you know?"

"How exactly does Total Drama help with songwriting?" Amber questioned.

"You can make a song out of anything, really," Sonya explained. "It just take a creative mindset and the willingness to endure several weeks of pain and suffering on this show." The audience laughed at that.

"So, did it work?"

Sonya smiled. "As a matter of fact, I have been working on a new song right now. Would you like to hear it?"

The audience roared with approval. "I think that's a yes," Amber said. "Take it away, Sonya."

The audience cheered as Sonya readied her guitar. "Two, three four!" Sonya yelled as she plowed her fingers over her guitar, creating a massive sound that shook the entire studio…and shattered all the lights.

"Aww, come on!" Marvin complained.

"Whoops," Sonya said.

"Well," Amber eventually said. "I guess we'll have to wait to hear Sonya's new song. That's apparently all the time we have for today. Tune in next time to see Chris torture the remaining contestants on Total! Drama! City!"

A light suddenly came on. "Whew, that's a relief—" Marvin started before he realized where exactly the light was coming from. "Oh no."

"Oh yes!" Deedee crowed, waving her lit torches around and catching more of the stage on fire. "Let's get some light going in here, baby!"

The audience and the eliminated contestants screamed and started to run as the Aftermath theme played again and the scene faded to black to end the show.

And that's a wrap on another Aftermath episode. Hope you enjoyed learning more about these eliminated contestants. Well, okay, more about Sonya, since she's the only new contestant that got eliminated in these past few episodes. Wow, I've been really brutal on my characters recently.

The only sad thing is that there's only one more Aftermath show after this one, meaning only one more "On the Road with Quincy." Sigh.

Hope y'all enjoyed Deedee being Deedee. Her inclusion in this Aftermath episode was one of the reasons why I was so focused on writing it, as she's one of my favorite characters and she allows me to pull out all the chaos I possibly can for her. Hope her antics didn't disappoint!

Well, that's about it from me. Make sure you hit that favorite/follow button to stay informed on future updates, and don't forget to drop a review to let me know how I'm doing. Until next time, this is Guest 1138, reminding you to never play with fire. Ciao!
