Alicia yawns, resting her head back against the pillows, watching as AJ collects a bunch of drinks and snacks, putting them in easy reach of the bed. "It's amazing, you've been here for so long, and this is the first time it's actually just the two of us."
AJ smiles. "Yeah, how are you feeling without Andre here? I remember the first time I was without Sara, especially while pregnant with George."
"It's weird," Alicia admits. "But I wasn't able to do much with him, since I'm supposed to take it easy until these guys come." She rests her hand on her stomach and lazily massages her skin, feeling for the twins to start kicking or shifting. "I know he'll have a good time with Ricardo and Sofia in Maryland for a couple days. Better for him to have some fun now before the babies come and we're all too busy to give him our full attention. And Ricardo's always so busy, I don't want Andre to wonder why Daddy never spent time with him when he's old enough to think back on it."
"Yeah, that makes sense." AJ smiles at her, then inclines her head towards Alicia's wandering hand. "How are the babies doing in there? Think they'll be coming to meet us all soon?"
Alicia hums. "Maybe," she hedges. "I almost feel like they may be Halloween babies. I'd like that." She smirks. "Anyway. Um. So what are the plans tonight for Mike and Lumis? Has he heard anything from Ciampa?"
"Ciampa, no," AJ says. "He's pretty worried, but we're not sure what to do about it. HHH doesn't seem concerned whenever Mike's gone to him. As for Lumis, I've suggested a few things. We'll see how it goes."
Alicia smiles. "Well, sounds like Raw will be interesting. Is that why you put so many snacks and stuff around my bed?"
"Yeah, you mind if we watch it together here?" AJ asks, settling in next to her against an unoccupied pile of pillows.
"Sounds perfect," Alicia says, hugging her pillow close. "But just to let you know, I'm probably going to sleep through at least part of it. I apologize in advance."
AJ chuckles fondly and leans in to kiss her forehead. "No worries, mama. You do whatever you have to. Our little secret, I don't always stay awake the full show either. Three hours is a long, long time."
"It really is," Alicia murmurs, eyes fluttering as she hums and cuddles tighter to her pillow, blinking lazily as AJ finds the remote and turns the TV to the USA Network. "I hope the plans you all have works out."
"I hope so, too," AJ sighs, settling down next to Alicia to wait and hope that what she and Mike had brainstormed about will work out well.
