I'm really into writing this fanfic, not even gonna lie lol. As a reminder, this is an AU, so if events don't match up to canon, just know that it's intentional.
Anyway, the author's notes will be at the bottom. And to those who read my lemons, just know that the real good stuff isn't on fanfiction dot net, but it's on AO3. The one on fanfic is mostly just Naruto related, the one in AO3 is anything and everything.
Okay, please enjoy!
Once aboard the trolley, Armin hummed to himself while taking out his iPod. Sitting down near the back of the public trolley, the blond boy plugged the audio jack of his EarPods into the bottom of his music player. Rolling his thumb in a circular motion to scroll through all his extensive music library. Seemingly none the wiser that there was nearly seven foot tall figure looking over him with its entire body hovering over where he was seated, Armin started jamming out his favorite artist, '4 Non Blondes'.
"… And I say, hey-ey-ey-ey— hey-ey-ey. I said, hey, what's going on…?" Armin sang beneath his breath, while doing his best to shrug off the feeling that he was being watched intently— an intuition that he rationalized as him being paranoid. Completely unseeable, even to those who were capable of detecting servants through their chakra, Hassan of the Cursed Arm unveiled his massive right arm, which would have glown a bright orange, had he not made himself invisible.
And while a certain blond femboy was getting targeted by an evil spirit, Kaneki had finished giving his testimony to the police, and was about to be released from custody, along with the two Uzumaki boys. After having spoken to the two of them during the duration of their transport to the precinct, Kaneki had been invited by not only the two boys, but by the hokage himself, to have dinner with them that evening at their house; even going as far as to extend the offer to Haise, who Kaneki talked about to Naruto and Boruto.
Before their dinner plans though, Naruto and Boruto had asked Kaneki to accompany them to grab their family's clean laundry from the laundromat; inviting him to come with them to pick up a late breakfast at their favorite noodle house: Ramen Ichiraku. With the affinity of wind on his side, Kaneki was able to keep up with the two shinobis, as they sprinted down the streets of Konoha, and straight toward their destination.
And while Kaneki himself was familiar with what it was like to be seen as 'different', he was appalled by just how untrusted and disliked both Naruto and Boruto were; receiving suspicious looks from passing ninjas, and being avoided by civilians alike. What was most upsetting about the way Naruto and Boruto were treated for Kaneki was seeing just how friendly they were towards those who had to speak to them; seemingly unaffected on the surface with how everyone around them perceived them.
Other than the way that Naruto and even Boruto were able to put up with the nervous and rude front desk clerk, nothing eventful happened during the duration of their short stay at the laundromat. With the 7-Eleven that he was supposed to go to do a breakfast run now completely blocked off for investigation, Kaneki felt somewhat unsure of whether or not his fifty bucks were going to cover the cost of as much food as Haise and Tamamo were hoping for, but he figured that they'd understand once they caught wind of what went down at the mini mart.
The noodle house that the two boys had hyped up so much was a little out of the way, and was actually sort of toward the outskirts of the village. The restaurant was in an area of the village that Kaneki wasn't familiar with, and with the way how the local architecture in the area reflected traditional Konoha design, as in it hadn't been structurally updated to reflect the modern style of concrete buildings, the young man could tell that he was in the 'ghetto' that he had so much about.
Passing through an alleyway that had a graffiti-vandalized wooden fence across the way from the backsides of several old-school and slightly run-down buildings, Kaneki and the Uzumaki boys finally came upon the local hotspot eatery, which was a small indoor noodle bar, that had a stairway outside that led up to a decent sized apartment.
Entering through the traditional paper-sliding doors, Kaneki's nose was hit with the savory aroma of various steamy broths that instantly made his mouth watery the moment he and the boys stepped into the quaint restaurant. Behind the unoccupied noodle bar counter was an attractive young woman in her very early twenties, who instantly recognized Naruto and Boruto, and greeted her regulars with a friendly smile.
"Ah! Naruto, Boruto, you've brought a new friend with you!" Ayame said with a relieved look in her dark eyes, as she reached down into her white apron to pull out a notepad— making sure to size Kaneki's wallet up by subtly noticing the designer clothes he had on, with his Gucci belt giving her the the green light to try and up sell him.
Waving his hand at the waitress as he and the other two boys took their seats beside him on the row of stools sitting in front of the counter, Naruto smiled back at Ayame before saying, "Yeah, I know right?! This is Ken Kaneki by the way, he came to our rescue and gave a testament to the cops when we got arrested earlier."
An expression of concern crossed over Ayame's pretty face at the news. "You boys were arrested again?! That's the second time this week… What sort of nonsense charges did they get you two in for this time?" Ayame asked with a mildly frustrated tone, as she reached over the glass of the counter to hand the three of them their own separate menus.
Wanting to be part of the conversation too, Boruto was quick to answer the young waitress by responding, "My older brother got busted for using Kurama to save Kaneki and a bunch of other guys from some freakin' weirdo who tried blowing us up with a chakra-trap! I saw Naruto getting cuffed, and I tried talking to the cops, but they just cuffed me too— it was really unfair, actually."
"Bull crap, Boruto— you were being super obnoxious and disruptive to the cops! You totally got what was coming to you!" Naruto argued with a snide smirk, and chuckled the moment he saw Boruto glaring daggers at him. "Other than what my little brat of a brother said about him being calm and collected about the situation, what he said about the other crap was true. It's been a while since I got into a fight with someone like that inside of Konoha… And even then, they weren't trying to kill me, unlike that asswipe whose ass I kicked— BELIEVE IT!"
Knowing fully well of the iconic Uzumaki catchphrase, Ayame didn't bat an eye when Naruto shouted that last part of his story, and instead focused on the part of his tale where he mentioned someone trying to end his and his brother's lives. "Oh my God, that's… Th-That's terrible! You said you beat that guy up though… Please tell me that the cops actually apprehended that guy, and didn't just arrest you!"
"Nah, don't worry! Not only did that guy get messed up beyond all recognition, but we were told by the police down at the station that he was going to be facing quite a bit of charges…" Naruto reassured with a confident look on his face, as he smiled cockily at the impressed waitress before adding, "Let's just say that after I was done with his sorry ass, he was pretty much guaranteed to retire behind bars as a crippled bastard, for the rest of his life."
Impressed and smitten by how cool Naruto seemed while reaccounting to her how he had saved the day and put an attempted murderer in prison, Ayame felt her cheeks grow warm and a bashful smile spread across her lips. "Oh Naruto, you're such an amazing person… How'd I loved to just read a book about all the things you've done! Maybe… Maybe you wouldn't mind coming upstairs sometime, and telling me in private?"
Upon hearing the obvious invitation to have sex that Ayame was offering to Naruto, Kaneki's single grey eye widen at the young waitress. Turning his head over his shoulder to see what his new friend's reaction would be, Kaneki was surprised that it was painfully oblivious to him that neither Naruto nor Boruto knew what she meant by that.
Thinking about the offer with a visible look of concentration on his whiskered face, Naruto thought it over in his head before nodding. "Yeah, sure! I could do that… Oh, what if I brought Sasuke along? He's got some cool stuff to share with you too, if you're up to it!" Naruto said with an enthusiastic smile spread across his face— completely unaware that he had just made an innuendo that Ayame misinterpreted as him asking if she wanted to get railed by both him and his best friend at the same time.
Becoming flustered with lustful thoughts filling her head about how the two young shinobis would spit-roast her on her bed, Ayame had to raised the notepad up to cover her face, so that none of the young and attractive males sitting across from her could see the drool leaking out of her mouth. Quick on her feet, Ayame made sure to change the subject by transitioning the conversation into her asking what they wanted to drink before she wrote down their orders.
Kaneki, being the coffee aficionado that he was, ordered an iced cappuccino with extra foam and hazelnut spice on top. Naruto ordered an iced ramune soda, while his easier-to-please younger brother ordered a plain bottle of cola. With their drinks written down, Ayame left the counter to go back into the kitchen where her father was working on delivery orders. Due to Kaneki's drink taking the longest to make, the three boys had enough time to chat before Ayame returned with their beverages of choice.
Once they received their drinks, Naruto ordered his usual miso ramen with pork, and of course loaded with a chopped egg and vegetables, while Boruto asked for a bowl of shrimp-tempura yakisoba, before settling with shrimp-tempura ramen— after being reminded by an annoyed Ayame that they didn't serve yakisoba. Kaneki, who still wasn't quite used to the difference between Konoha's cuisine and Amegakure's own food, decided to just order three bowls of the same exact thing that Naruto added— convinced that Naruto's choice was a good starting point.
Chatting about how different Amegakure was in comparison to Konoha, after the subject was brought up when Naruto asked why he seemed so bewildered by the simple menu, Kaneki felt magnetically attracted to the joyful blond man— feeling as though Naruto reminded him greatly of a best friend who he never had. Just talking to Naruto and Boruto, about their lives and simple things like the weather and favorite shows, was extremely fulfilling for Kaneki, and for once it made him feel like he was a normal person, and not someone's dirty little secret.
At first, Armin was able to excuse the cold breath over his shoulder as some sort of weather phenomena caused by a chakra user dispelling a powerful amount of energy in the far distance. However, while he was taking his usual shortcut home by cutting through the south industrial park, where he normally felt safe enough to walk through the unfinished tunnel system to save on time, Armin's paranoia was becoming more-and-more justified to himself with each unexplainable whisper and scratch he heard nearby.
Outside in broad daylight, Armin felt a lot braver than he was deep inside the underground catacombs of the construction site, and it was only when he was trapped beneath the false protection of a ceiling flood light did the blond boy realize his mistake. 'What was I thinking…?! W-Why the hell did I choose to come down here when… Why did I ignore my gut feeling so much?! D-Damnit! Something's coming!' Armin thought anxiously to himself, and was beginning to hyperventilate as the sound of soft footsteps echoed down the dark cataclysm of an inclined tunnel.
Bracing himself for the worst, Armin reached into his messages bag and pulled out a single kunai— holding it with both hands with its small blade pointed out into the abyss, where whatever had been stalking him was growing closer, and closer. With his heart racing, his eyes widened in terror and his breaths coming out of his agaped mouth, Armin was beginning to feel tears welling up in his blue eyes from all the fear that was coursing through his icy veins.
So when the mysterious being finally revealed itself to be a mere mangy mutt beneath the glow of the flood light above, Armin went deadpanned and his entire body froze. Needing a double-take, just to make sure that what he was seeing was for real, Armin let out a shaky laugh and instantly felt his fear melt away upon realizing how much he had overreacted to a mere dog following him into the tunnel. That laughter was cut short though as soon as it came, the moment Armin watched with bated breath as the innocent eyes of the dog widened.
The dog instantly became silent and blood began to pour out of its agaped maw, as its bones started to crack and its limbs and shoulders started to pop out, as if there was something slithering inside of it. Slowly backing away until he felt a wall behind him, Armin watched as the dead dog's skin stretched, as its body began to break apart into thin-bloody fleshy material over the seven foot figure taking form inside of its corpse. When the dog's corpse couldn't take much more, it exploded into a cloud of gorey chunks and splitterned bone— revealing to the horrified young man the ungodly sight of the Hassan of the Cursed Arm.
With his hooded black cloak still on, and his white skull-mask hiding away the gruesome expression permanently etched onto its pitch-black face, Hassan slowly raised its glowing orange arm up toward the petrified blond man.
Reveling in how much fear was plastered across Armin's face, Hassan smiled wickedly behind his unnerving mask as he slowly plunged bus glowing orange fingertips into the boy's chest. Taking a macabre sense of pride as he easily broke through Armin's warm and slippery ribs, Hassan was breathing excitingly as his cursed fingers wrapped themselves around the boy's still beating heart.
Using his long-spider-like arm, Hassan lifted the bleeding boy's body up with his unholy grasp still wrapped around his racing heart. Salivating beneath the white mask that was wrapped into his skull, Hassan slowly used his fingers to massage the bleeding heart in the palm of his giant hand— getting to know it on a sinister level, before beginning to squeeze down on it.
And as Armin's body violently started to convulse, Hassan slid his middle finger straight into the left atrium of the heart and slid his digit into the valve— feeling it rubbing its slippery tri-fold flaps over his knuckle, before suddenly pulverizing the vital organ. Defiling Armin's heart until it was a bloody pulp, Hassan grabbed the dying boy's body and ripped it violently away from the viscus within his glowing orange palm.
Tossing the mutilated blond boy's body to the side like it was a wrapper, Hassan brought his latest meal up to his face and stared directly at it with only a few inches separating the gap between its mask and the pile of gore. Saying a silent prayer to commemorate his catch, Hassan began to scarf down the violated remains of Armin's heart— only realizing that he had been tricked by the crafty femboy's genjutsu into eating an entire shredded encyclopedia's worth of paper-bombs.
Having pulled off a convincing illusion, Armin had bought himself enough time to put enough distance between himself and the Hassan to not get caught in the massive earthquaking explosion. Even though he had outsmarted the servant and had escaped an encounter with him, Armin wasn't out of the clear just yet. Feeling fine debris raining down on the top of his head full of medium-length blond hair, Armin knew that it would be only a matter of seconds before he would get caught in the cave-in that he knew for certain was going to happen.
Although his speed wasn't anything impressive, unlike his two best friends, Armin knew the tunnel system well enough to navigate through its long-unfinished tunnels— avoiding wasting time by getting lost in the catacomb-like structure.
Elsewhere, while Armin was racing beneath a crumbling structure, the white suited master of the Hassan of the Cursed Arm was standing in front of the librarian's desk. Appearing intimidating and serious, to the point where it was making Eto Yoshimura uncomfortable, Shousei Idera was attempting to hit on the young twenty-two year old woman.
Just as he was about to be asked to leave, the chakra connection that intertwined his soul to his servant's had suddenly backfired. Upon eating the hefty amount of paper bombs that went off in his maw, Hassan was able to remotely reshape his mutilated body— the same couldn't be said for Shousei. Annoyed at first, Eto let out a gasp and immediately scrambled out of her chair after getting sprayed with blood, shards of teeth, and broken pieces of a jawbone, after Shousei's mouth suddenly exposed into a gorey cloud of viscus.
Screaming while what was left of his tongue flopped down out of his bloodied and mutilated mouth, Shousei fell back and started to convulse on the floor— leaving others to watch while Eto grabbed her landline office phone to begin immediately dialing in for the emergency services. Cringing as she lifted Shousei's left eyeball off of her shoulder, one that had been violently dislodged from his socket from the phantom explosion, Eto felt a shiver run down her spine as she reluctantly leaned over her blood-splattered desk.
With the phone held against her ear by one shoulder, Eto peered down with a morbid fascination at just how volatile the invisible force of the sudden explosion was. Laying down on his back, jawless and with half of a tongue flopping out of his exposed throat, the top of Shousei's skull had been blown apart— causing his brain matter and bits and pieces of his skull to ooze out of the gaping wound.
The moment Armin made his way out of the crumbling tunnels, he thought he was home free. Having tricked a servant into blowing its own head off, with the adrenaline coursing through his veins, it soon dawned on Arima that he had just killed whoever had sent the servant after him. Letting out horrified gasp as he walked upward along the concrete slope leading into the where collapsed entrance of the tunnel was, Armin froze up and felt immediately sick to his stomach.
"Oh… Oh my God… Oh, no, no, no… I… I couldn't have…! Th-That's not… Oh my God," Armin stuttered out with his mind just seconds away from having a panic-attack, as the weight of having just taken a life was enough to make his knees tremble. "It-It wasn't my fault… I-I wa—" Before he could finish comforting himself before he totally lost it right then and there, Armin let out a ghastly gasp and tensed up after feeling several sharp-piercing objects get plunged into his slender body.
"G-Ga-GAAHHHHH!" Armin screamed out in agony, as he turned around him just in time to get several other dirks thrown into his thighs and left shoulder— immobilizing him and causing him to stumble backwards. As a last minute discussion to avoid driving the hooked-daggers that were already plunged into his back from going deeper into his body, Armin made a conscious decision to land on his small little butt instead.
Sitting down while feeling his clothes getting soaked with his own blood, Armin's skin was growing clammy and his breathing was once again becoming panicked, as he watched the Hassan of the Cursed Arm standing over him at the tunnel in which he had crawled out of. Unable to get up, Armin flipped on his stomach and resorted to trying to crawl on his hands while dragging his paralyzed legs behind him.
Attempting to survive, while knowing deep down that he was doomed, Armin knew that he wasn't going to get out there alive without a miracle on his side. Even so, that didn't prepare for just how terrified Armin was going to be the moment he felt the enlarged glowing-hand of Hassan wrap around his legs. Clawing at the concrete, to the point where his fingertips were beginning to bleed, Armin didn't last long and was soon raised upside down so that he was staring face-to-face with the maskless horror before him.
"I… I don't understand… H-How are you not fading away?!" Armin asked, being just as scared as he was confused on why the servant before him wasn't showing any signs of fading away. "S-Servants are connected to their masters through chakra… T-That explosion should have killed your master, even if you somehow survived i— NGHHHH?!"
Before Armin could finish asking his frantic question, he felt an intense pressure around his heart, which caused him to seize up and stop breathing almost immediately. Wondering what was going on, Armin didn't need to wait long to figure out what was going on. With its fingers plunged into his actual chest, Armin wanted so badly to scream for help, but was powerless to help himself and could only watch as Hassan stared back at him with hollow black eyes.
However, before Hassan's fingers could clamp down to crush Armin's beating heart in his grasp, all five of his blackened digits were sudden chopped off by a pink-haired kunoichi— one who had used a chakra-scalpel to chop off the servant's fingers quick enough to ram the entirety of the scalpel deep into the side of the tall figure's skull. Although her attack was quickly mitigated by the fact that chakra-based attacks only did a fraction of their true power against servants, the chakra-scalpel she planted in Hassan's temple bought her enough time to pull Armin close to her air-borne body.
Tucking him into her body to keep his injured body safe, Sakura made sure to use her 'mystical palm' technique to heal Armin's fatal wounds— pushing the dirks out his small body just in time to avoid having them plunge deeper into his body from the impact of her rolling on the ground to break his fall. "Come on, get up!" Sakura instructed in a stressed out voice, as she immediately picked Armin up off of the ground before pulling him behind her.
Having already marked Armin for death, Hassan knew exactly where he and Sakura were going. Pulling out the chakra-scalpel out of his black skull while his fingers rematerialized, the hulking tall menace tossed aside Sakura's creation. Without the black cloak or white mask to hide his horrendous appearance, Hassan appeared to others like a walking nightmare, as he sprinted through the streets of Konoha— hot on Armin's trail, and hell bent on getting vengeance on Sakura.
Despite how fast Sakura was able to run, the fact that she had to keep Armin safe slowed her down, which wouldn't matter since a servant endowed with chakra, depending on the master, would be able to outdo a shinobi. Despite wanting to lead the Hassan of the Cursed Arm out of the civilization, Armin had warned her that it had developed an immunity to genjutsu illusions— noting that that he had tried losing him several times during their chase, and each time Armin would try to manipulate the servant into chasing a hallucination, it completely ignored it and remained hot in their trail.
Running through a wide enough road, Sakura quickly decided to use her jujutsu to summon the powerful slug from the Shikkkotsu woods to create a roadblock. "Katsuyu! Servant, hot on our asses! DO SOMETHING!" Sakura screamed out while keeping her green eyes forward, leaving behind a very confused and startled spirit who wasn't sure what she was expecting him to do.
"I… Uhhh… U-Uhh…?! Of course, L-Lord Haruno?! I'll do my best!" The subservient slug declared with as much confidence as he could muster up, while feeling anxious about all the screaming pediatricians who were staring at him with horrified expressions on their faces.
"Oh, geez… F-Fear not, humans! I am benevolent, I shall protect all of y—" Before Katsuyu could finish reassuring the citizens beneath him that he meant them no harm, the Hassan of the Cursed Arm pierced straight through his massive form— causing the massive slug to explode into a million smaller slugs that rained down all over the street below.
Had it not been for how charismatic and confident Armin sounded as he guided her on where to go, Sakura would have tried taking her chances with Hassan— a last resort that was never a good idea, due to how unpredictable their kind could be. Upon entering through the wealthy neighborhood that her family owned several mansions on, Sakura was very confused as to what Armin had in plan, but she still persisted until she was forced to stop.
Having reached the vast front lawn of some random mansion's front courtyard, Sakura immediately felt like she was having a sudden case of cardiac arrest. Tripping and causing Armin to roll forward and tumble across the blades of freshly cut grass. Unable to breath, Sakura looked down to see if the servant had touched her or used a dirk on her, but upon looking down at her breast and feeling around with a frantic hand on her own back, she found there to be no wounds.
Kneeling down on her knees and supporting her own weight with one hand, Sakura immediately tried using her mystic palm and illness extraction jujutsu to remedy herself of any chakra based attacks, but found that nothing was helping her. Turning around and falling down on her white shorts, Sakura felt the burning of her lungs trying desperately to take in air. With only microseconds to spare upon realizing that Hassan was standing five meters behind her with his glowing orange hand wrapped around a phantom-manifestation of her heart, Sakura was barely able to do the hand motions to activate her 'Byakugo No Jutsu' just in time before watching as the servant crushed the heart in his hand.
Feeling the pain of getting her vital organ turned into pulp, Sakura's face became covered in black marking as the only thing keeping her alive was her Byakugo No Jutsu. However, even though her body was constantly keeping her actual body functional, the constant grip that the Hassan of the Cursed Arm had on her phantom heart was preventing her from getting up. And despite how much chakra she normally had to use to maintain her jujutsu, Sakura could tell that her chakra reserves were being drained by Hassan, as she struggled just to keep the form going after only five seconds had passed.
With her chakra reserves being depleted, Sakura knew that she only had a few more seconds to live, before she wouldn't be able to maintain her Byakugo No Jutsu. 'Damnit! Where the hell's that blond boy at?! Was there even a point of coming here?!' Sakura thought frustratingly to herself, as she collapsed onto her side while straining to use everything in her to stay alive. 'I can't believe this… Is this really how I'm going to die?! Is this what I get for trying to be a good person?! Damnit, if I only stayed at that board game shop, and not go looking for trouble…'
Having regrets about not being able to show her boyfriend the latest special edition of 'LIFE' that she had spent fifty bucks on, Sakura couldn't help but to wonder if her good deed of trying to save Armin would at least guarantee her a spot in the Pure Land. Thinking that her last thought was going to be her wondering if there's trivia and board games in heaven, right as her Byakugo No Jutsu wore off, Hassan's orange arm was suddenly sliced clean off by an attack that happened too fast for even her to see.
Taking in a deep breath and preparing herself for the sweet embrace of death, Sakura was left hyperventilating and wondering what was going on. Seemingly out of nowhere, there appeared to be a heavily armored woman, donning silver and crimson knight's armor that covered her from head to toe in durable plates of chakra-enhanced protection. Looking like she was wearing a skirt made out of the elegant armor she had on, the servant who stood in front of Sakura raised her massive and decorated silver and red long sword up.
With a weapon that was more dazzling than silver, Mordred quickly sliced off Hassan's legs— preventing the looming and silent figure from escaping her wrath. Slashing clean through his pitch-black body with her powerful sword, Mordred's brilliant crimson aura was absolutely radiating a powerful and massive amount of chakra that Sakura herself only rarely saw within the handful of gifted ninjas that she had the honor of meeting in person.
"ORA, ORA, ORA, ORA, ORA— ORAAAAA!" Mordred roared out in a defiant roar, after having chopped up Hassan into several pieces, before having decapitated the independent servant in one powerful swing. Without the ability to maintain its corporal form, the chakra he had within his disfigured body was dispersed back into the world— leaving behind vanishing pieces of his body that were swept away into thin air.
Being a bit of a prideful show off, Mordred swung her sword around victoriously, before de-summoning her sword, 'Clarent', back into the 'Throne', where she would be able to retrieve it at a moment's notice. Taking off her decorated horned helmet to reveal her blond braided ponytail and a confident look in her green eyes, Mordred turned around while still donning her suit of armor before kneeling down to inspect the pink haired girl. "… Oh? You're still alive? Good, I thought it was too late to save you," Mordred said carelessly, before smiling as faded away before Sakura's widened eyes— returning back into her master's soul, who came walking around with Armin close by.
Dressed in the recon armor that he had gotten from being a part of Levi's team, Eren turned around and extended his hand down toward Sakura— appearing to be checking for himself to see whether or not she was injured, as he helped pull her up to her feet. "… Armin told me you saved him from whatever the fuck that thing was supposed to be," Eren said with malice for the defeated servant in his voice, as he let out a relieved sigh. "… I hope whoever sent that thing after him felt every swing. You have my thanks, by the way— with how focused we were on trying to find out about that bastard in the news, we got tunnel-visioned into believing that he was the only person who we had to worry about… Without you, this would have been a whole lot worse."
Although she had a good feeling in Armin, the violent nature that she could sense from Eren made Sakura cautious of him— especially since he had revealed what he was actually capable of. "That… That servant… She was yours, wasn't she?" Sakura asked with her guard up, even though she knew that she didn't need to have it up.
Having been used to the connotation that came with being a 'master', Eren didn't take offense to the mistrustful way Sakura was speaking to him. "Mordred's my summoned servant, yes," Eren replied back, while subtly inviting Sakura to ask the questions she had always wanted to ask to a summoner who wasn't trying to use their servant to actively commit murder.
"So… So it's true what they say, then? About the whole 'selling your soul' thing? You… Y-You actually did that?" Sakura asked with a look of disbelief in her green eyes, as she herself couldn't understand why anyone would ever damn themselves eternally like that. "That binding seal… You can't break it, you're… I don't understand… Why would you ever do that to yourself? To your family?!"
"Do what? Tell them that I'm definitely NOT going to whatever bullshit afterlife you and your people believe in?" Eren asked back, which came off a lot ruder than he intended. "They're not religious either… Besides, why would I want to worship some asshole who claims to be deity, who can't do shit for me, when I can grab that kind of power with my own hands?"
Having been raised in a ninsū household, and being secretly engaged to a boy who came from a long-line of ninjas who were once priests and monks, Sakura took Eren's anti-religious words as blasphemy— the tension growing between the two made Armin extremely uncomfortable. "… Maybe if you spent more time praying and going to a temple now and then, you wouldn't have been naive enough to sell your soul to something that's going to take you with it when you or it dies…"
"I don't believe in souls, I believe in results," Eren countered, as he crossed his arms over his chest, while Sakura leaned forward with her fists pressed up against her hips in a disrespectful manner. "Chakra is just a man-made religious way of explaining a phenomenon that we as humans don't fully understand, so we just make up some bullshit about there being such a thing as a soul."
"... Okay, now you're being stupid. How can chakra exist without a soul to manifest it? What, you actually think chakra is held in some actual little yin-yang organ inside you?" Sakura asked in a condescending tone, as she found the idea of someone not believing in a soul to be ridiculous. "Look here, moron: you sold your soul to some demon, probably, and you somehow have the gull to tell me that you don't even believe in— Ugh?! What the hell did you think you gave away, your dignity?!"
"I signed a contract binding me to my servant for all eternity, and when I die, whatever chakra that wasn't used by the servant will be dispersed back into the world— like its own natural force," Eren explained, while both he and Sakura were ignoring all the subtle and anxious attempts that Armin had tried doing, in order to try and stop the heated debate from escalating even further.
"Chakra doesn't work like that, idiot! It comes from your soul! Something you don't have anymore, and neither a brain, apparently!" Sakura shouted back, making it clear to Armin that she was no longer able to keep her composure. "Kaguya blessed all with Her gift, and maybe you outta appreciate what She gave you and ask Her for forgiveness— maybe She'll save your sorry ass from spending the rest of your afterlife in Hell!"
"Ah… You're one of THOSE religious zealots, aren't you? The crazies who think the Moon is a benevolent Goddess, or some shit," Eren stated, after finally pinning down Sakura's true beliefs. "Look at what just happened; where was your made-up goddess when you needed her the most? If it wasn't for me 'selling my soul', you and I wouldn't be having this conversation right now. So why don't you stop living in whatever immature fairytale you believe in, and start—"
"—TH-THAT'S ENOUGH!" Sakura shouted angrily, as she slapped Eren across the face hard enough to make him stumble backwards. Had Mordred not silently agreed with Sakura, she would have been motivated to stop her from slapping her master.
Seething with rage, especially since she had heard enough of Eren's distasteful criticism of the religion she and almost everyone else in Konah followed. "You're lucky my boyfriend isn't here— he would have kicked your ass if he heard what you said…"
Without uttering another word, Sakura gave the somewhat amused summoner a dirty look, before turning to give Armin a disapproving look. Feeling embarrassed, frustrated, and thankful all at the same time, Armin let out an elongated sigh and stared downward at the grass beneath his shoes.
"… Armin, I… I think I did that again, where I, uhh… Where I sort of, uh… Sort of was being an asshole again," Eren suddenly spoke up, as he watched Sakura storming away toward one of her family's mansion, which wasn't very far from the 'Yeager Residence'. "… Do you think I should go over there and apologize?"
Sighing, Armin looked up from the ground and stared at Eren with an exhausted expression in his pretty blue eyes. "… You weren't being an 'asshole', you were just getting worked up again, was all," Armin said, while making up an excuse for Eren's behavior like how he always did. "… With that being said, I don't think she took that 'debate' as well as you did, soooo… I-I would wait until at least tomorrow morning, before you try anything like that."
"Ye-Yeah, you're uhh… You're probably right about that one, Armin," Eren said agreeingly, before deciding to move on back to the burning subject at hand. "Anyway, we have more important things to talk about, Armin, like who the hell was targeting you?! Did you go anywhere in particular, like where someone could have been keeping tabs for that ugly bastard?!"
"I, uhh… I-I went to the public library, if that's what you're referring to," Armin said with a pondering expression on his cute and feminine face. "I went there to use the Internet cafe, and there were a bunch of people there using computers… None of them really seemed suspicious of me. In fact, a bunch of people were just playing games mostly— unless that was a ruse of some kind…?"
"Maybe… All I know is that between you and I, one of us just put some lowlife down for good. I think we should go back to that library you went to— try to see if we can catch wind of anyone dying from any sort of 'unexplainable' cause," Eren suggested, before he and Armin began to make their way out of the wealthy neighborhood, and back into the streets of Konah, where the latest news going around was the misfortune that had fallen upon two white-suited men— one in critical condition, and the other one dead.
And there we have it, Eren and Armin aren't followers of the major religion in Konoha, and upset Sakura. I did this because Eren and Armin, unlike Mikasa, clearly aren't Japanese, so making them native to Konoha wouldn't make sense in my book. Thus, they don't hold the same religious values as those who are native to the region, in which this case 'Ninsū' is the combined equivalent of Christianity and Buddhism, with Shintoism being thrown in there.
In this AU, Kaguya never became evil, but rather remained benevolent. It'll be explained more later, but basically instead of trying to absorb all the chakra in the world for herself and being imprisoned by her two sons, Kaguya sacrificed herself for the world to protect their universe from the other Ōtsutsuki clan members who wanted to bring harm to the world. The Moon is just a rock, but is seen as a spiritual representation of Kaguya's love for mankind, and her sons founded Ninsū to help spread her message of love, and being connected to those around one's self.
Chakra is seen as her gift to her followers. With that being said, there's no Zetsu in this fanfic, at least not the one from canon. I did this because the religious aspect of Naruto was always intentionally unexplained, other than nods to real life religions.
As far as shipping goes, here's what I have in mind so far: Naruto x Sakura, Sasuke x Karin, Boruto x Sarada, Kaneki x Eto, Eren x Mikasa, Armin x Annie, and Jiraiya x Tsunade, Minato x Kushina.
I'll probably have Garaa x Matsuri, when and if I use him in this anything more than a background character. Lots of characters to pick from.
As far as Haise goes, I'm trying to avoid shipping regular people with their servants, because I'm trying to prevent good ships from happening, I guess. They're more like living manifestations of chakra that are used as weapons, more so than something you put your dick into.
With that being said, here's my options I got for Haise. I could ship him with Rize, which people seem to like, and surprisingly I could do Ryouko, which a smaller percentile of people enjoy, but it would introduce a scenario where Haise become a step-dad to Hinami, and while giving Haise a milf for a waifu. Or, as my homie suggested, I could do Haise x Hinata (Road to Ninja Version), who ended up getting with Haise after trying to make Naruto jealous. Could be reminiscent of how Haise usually got with toxic women in this story's prequel.
Oh, speaking of Haise, I want him to be sort of a joke character who's actually badass, sort of like Saitama from One Punch Man. He sucks at his job, isn't very well liked because all he knows is the rules— he's not very clever, and thus is awful at being an investigator. Makes sense, because Tamamo is a sort of a comic relief character who's capable of being a badass when she wants to, same with Haise.
No one's really gone all out in this fanfiction yet, mostly because they're in Konoha and there hasn't been a reason for anyone yet to needlessly risk the lives of others around them. Hence why Katsuyu didn't really know what to do, or what Sakura was expecting out of him.
Madara will be mentioned, but just know that it'll be explained later, but basically that's who Minato had to fight before he had Naruto, same with the entirety, or most of Akatsuki. Think of it like this, Kushina became sick while pregnant with Naruto, which ended up being caused by Kurama awakening in her. In order to save his wife and unborn son, Minato joined Jiraiya, who was on a mission to destroy Rinne-Sharingan Madara, who activate Infinite Tsukuyomi while trying to find more power (The Throne), and thus awoken Kurama and all of the other servants and the other nine-tailed beasts, which were originally put to rest by Kaguya long ago.
So it was Minato and his friends who defeated Zetsu Madara, Pain, and the Akatsuki. In order to have a snowball's chance in hell to ever defeat Madara and Perfect Susano'o, Minato did what Jiraiya begged him not to do, and that was complete the chakra ritual that Madara learned of, and thus sold his soul to obtain a servant to defeat Madara: Gilgamesh. So in this fic, Minato is a lot stronger than he is in canon, with the power of one of the strongest servants from Fate, but he also sold his soul and made Jiraiya promise him that he wouldn't tell Kushina or anyone else.
The reason why there's no war going on, is because of Minato's servant, and what he was able to do once he defeated Madara and Perfect Susano'o. Afterward, Minato had to focus on his own strength, because Gilgamesh promptly basically told him to go fuck himself and that he was going to do his own thing while he was able to walk the earth with his little femboy golem, Enkidu. The Flying Thunder God technique during Minato's prime during his fight with Madara, allowed for him to have control of time and thus he could stop it for a brief period of time, which was the only way he was able to not get blitzed.
That was eighteen years ago, Minato hasn't stopped time in a while, so he's rusty a bit. Hence why he isn't the main character who just wins every battle, that, and he's Hokage now. And remember, this is all just me rambling, all of this could change.
Anyways, yeah, the main bottom line right now is who should Haise be paired up with lol? Rize, Ryouko, or Hinata (Road to Ninja)?
What else, what else…
Will Mikasa be possessive of Eren, more so than canon? Heck ya, gamer, and yeah we can make her more assertive. To the point where she's borderline rapey with him. And yeah, I can see Mikasa using violence to sway girls away from her 'territory'.
And thank you for the idea of having Naruto planning on moving in with Sakura, but her parents won't let him in until he gets permission from his parents. Kushina is reluctant to let Naruto leave the nest, while Minato doesn't really think Naruto should settle down with Sakura. As mentioned before, I think Minato would want Naruto to marry off into royalty, just to improve relations between villages. But yeah, we gotta have that Sakura booty, especially because she's pretty swol, ngl.
And of course, I'll do that Evangelion lemon whenever I get a chance to, it might take a bit but I hope to get it down within a couple weeks at most.
Gotta do that Boruto x Sarada lemon too, exactly how you described it, as well Kushina x Minato, or just her masturbating with detail. Loads of lemon potential in this fanfic, that's for sure.
Although, I will say that I won't add Harry Potter for a while, merely because I gotta flesh out this world a bit more before tossing that bit in, but I definitely love the idea of Elizabeth only noticing Harry and Hermione being there, merely because she was visiting and noticed that they weren't supposed to be there. So rather than intervening herself, she just told them who to go see, which was Minato.
You know, I have never written a character with a cock ring, but I can totally see Annie making Armin wear one, especially while in that bunny suit of his in the High School AU. And also, speaking of sus, how do we feel about males getting it up the ass by either strong dom women/futas, or femboys? Armin is one so far, and then we got Astoflo, Juuzou, and Haku? If not in this fanfic, definitely gonna lewd them hardcore in Peter Griffn Smut 2.
Speaking of that, where do I put the missing part in the current draft of Kaneki x Eto x Elizabeth?! Lol, I'm so confused lol, please enlighten me on where I should copy and paste that paragraph you left in my reviews.
And Peter Griffin hasn't had sex since the Great Depression, and Hank Hill took the wock to Poland.
Alrighty, that about does it for now. Have a good one, and remember to not eat things off the ground.
