Fluffypoochi: Daemon's killed many... you really think he'll bat an eye while killing a merc? But I get your point.

Tyrant-King-Xenomorph: Oh don't worry, Vult will get the comeuppance he deserves. And who says Daemon might summon Durnehviir? he might call for Odahving.

Daemon sighed heavily as he enters the dungeon to check up on the two prisoners, having been placed on evening watch despite a guard not being necessary. Several days have passed since Olga was captured yet Vult refused to make any move back to Ken in addition to refusing to send out any messages to the Alliance indicating victory. The war was now over with Olga taken care of and decisively defeated.

Daemon didn't like it. Something was going on. His suspicions increased when the remaining Orcs swore loyalty to Vult. the moment he presented them with Olga's staff. It seems as if he has no plans to do away with them and they continue to dwell within the castle. Daemon didn't know what was going on, but he knew he had to be ready for anything. As soon as something starts to happen, he was getting Olga and Chloe out of this wretched place and taking them to Ken himself.

For the moment, the two Dark Elf captives have remained imprisoned in the dungeon. Vult has put out strict orders that they aren't to be interacted with aside from meager meals. They were literally trapped with no means of escape. The backdoor entrance was completely sealed. Without the staff, it is impossible.

"Damn it, let us out you filthy humans!" Chloe cried shaking the bars.

"Chloe…" Olga called out. "Constantly yelling will not improve our situation. Save your energy."

"I-I know but…" Chloe then spots Daemon approaching them. "So is this the one? The Dragonborn?"

Olga nods. "Yes, Chloe. This is the one we can trust. Don't worry."

Chloe remains silent as she looks upon Daemon for a moment, appraising him. "Very well…" She said. "If Milady says we can trust you, then I will trust you for now. But I'll be keeping an eye on you!"

"I wouldn't blame you. It would be smart of you to distrust me right now." Daemon said, complimenting her sharpness. He looked at Olga and noticed something ariund her neck. "What's that?"

Olga touched the collar with a look of disdain. "An Anti-Magic collar. It stops me from using my magic. The one called Kin put it on me."

Daemon growled at that. He really didn't like this. He shook his aggression away and looked at Olga."I have a question for you. How did this all began? The war, Vult, everything?"

"I'm sure you've been thinking about that." Olga nodded. "It's a wise idea to get perspective on things form the other side."

"My Queen! I don't find it wise to divulge vital information to what could be our enemy!"

"You worry yourself, Chloe. I won't give him sensitive information, but I will tell him things to help clear his mind on how this all began."

"O-Oh… A-Alright then.. Sorry for my outburst, my Queen."

"Tis fine, Chloe, there is no need for you to worry yourself," Olga reassures with a motherly reassuring smile. Chloe smiled back and nod in agreement. It seems Olga is trying to keep her subordinate cool for now.

"I'm sure you have many questions for us," Olga said to Daemon. "Ask and I shall answer the best I can."

Daemon glanced around to make sure they were alone and that no one was listening in. Seeing they were alone, he grabs a nearby chair to sit in so as to not stand all day.

"Who really started this war?" He asked.

"That's a rather complicated question, really," Olga said. "While to be blatantly honest, it was you humans who not only started the war but sown the seeds of it. My rise to power and gathering an Orc army was ultimately the tipping point. And admittedly, the Orcs' actions to many of the outlying cities and towns is also to blame. But in the end it matters not how the war began. What matters is how it will end."

"Have you tried for peace before?" asked Daemon.

"In fact, I have on several occasions to you humans. But every time I did, you would not only kill my messenger but continuously yell 'Kill the Queen.' It was honestly only recently that Celestine even thought to propose a peace offering. But here is the thing: this is a war started by you humans, so it should end by you humans, not by an Elven goddess."

"You knew Lady Celestine?" asked Daemon, somewhat unsurprised given of how long elves can live. Plus the way Celestine mentioned Olga... seemed to indicate there was history between them, more than just enemies. Perhaps they were friends at some point before the war.

Olga nods. "Indeed, I know of her. She approached me on several occasions in the past to not revive the Dark Elf Kingdom. Despite how high and mighty the High Elves are, I was rather touched she cared for us. However, any respect I had for her vanished when she began to lead your human armies against me. I just wish she realizes that I am nothing like my grandfather or my mother…" Then Olga's face turns red for some reason. "And honestly that is something… rather sensitive… Ask something else please…"

That was fair enough to say. Perhaps Daemon will know more history between two such powerful elves and their many interactions. Without the whole need of blood being spilled. Whatever the reason the war was started and however long the two elves had been fighting, it was irrelevant at the moment given the deciding factor of who now won.

And speaking of the victor, one question bothered Daemon. One that he remembered back in the throne room when Olga had surrendered and she and Chloe were taken to the dungeon by the Kuroinu.

Daemon's final questions was this. "What's your connection with Vult?"

"I had a feeling you would bring that up…" Olga said. "Vult approached me some several months ago, with a messenger, saying he understood my people's struggles and wanted to help us. Originally I was skeptical of his proposal but several of his actions in a few battles proposed otherwise. I was going to meet him face to face but..."

"He betrayed you," Daemon deduced.

"Indeed…" Olga nodded. "Afterwards, I lost contact with him. But as you see now, he never untended in helping my people. He seemed to be after something else."

"Yeah, I know." Daemon said, looking towards the staircase. "I've met men like Vult before. No matter how much he tries to hide it, he's the same as them. A man who'd rather make women their slaves. I've met men like him and killed them. Whatever Vult is planning... it won't be good for you two. If things worsen, I will get you both out of him myself, regardless of what they want."

"Aren't they your comrades? Your friends?" Olga questioned.

Daemon shook his head. "I never trusted them from the start. I simply saved Vult's life and they wanted me to join them. I simply went along since I had nothing better to do, but I happen to be a good judge of character and Vult, Hicks and Kin... something about them and the rest of the Kuroinu puts me on edge, and when people make me feel that way... I listen to that feeling and remain suspicious, waiting for a possible betrayal."

Olga watched him for a moment. "You're no stranger to betrayal, are you?"

Daemon looked away, his mind flashing back to when Mercer Frey betrayed him and then during his time in the Dark Brotherhood when... Astrid betrayed him. The woman who got close to him, seduced him into her bed despite the fact she had a husband, a werewolf husband. Their affair was secret and he enjoyed it, but when things for the Brotherhood began to change... Astrid just showed that their affair was nothing but to keep him loyal and dedicated to her before she betrayed him.

"No... I'm not." Daemon said quietly, forcing the memories away.

A horn sounds off across the castle, which was an indication by the new ruler of the Black Fort to come to the throne room immediately.

Daemon looked at Olga. "I must go. I'll be back soon."

Olga and Chloe, deciding to place their trust and bet on Daemon, nod as he gets up and takes his leave, heading on over to the throne room where Vult was.

It was best to talk to Vult now and get answers. Although he had a suspicious and bad feeling he was not going to like the answer.

Daemon opens the large doors leading to the throne room and finds an assembly of Kuroinu and orcs gathered there, all looking forward to their leader with Kin by his side. Daemon takes his time approaching Vult, not wanting to simply rush on in and start demanding questions as to why the Kuroinu had not returned to Ken yet. It was best to take this slow and steady and discern Vult's true motives.

As Daemon approaches Vult, he finds a large assembly of monsters and mercenaries within the throne room. They all fell silent as the Dragonborn nears the throne, now seated by Vult himself. He then rises and approaches Daemon.

"You cut the image of a conqueror." Daemon said. " I do hope you aren't getting soft by sitting in it all day."

Vult could not help but laugh. "Hahaha! Hardly, Daemon. We defeated the Dark Queen, and I lead the conquering force. So it's only natural for me to take my place on that which I claimed. But tell me, Daemon, why are you here? Weren't you supposed to watch those Dark Elves in the dungeons?"

"Why are we still here?" Daemon asked, getting straight to the point. "It's been several days since we captured the Dark Queen, and we have made no moves to return her to Ken and face justice. Nor have you sent message to the Alliance about our victory. For all they know, we're dead. So tell me, Vult... what's going on?"

"Ah, I figured you would be wondering by now," Vult said, expecting this. "I suppose it's time to finally fill you in on what is going on and what the future will bring."

Vult looks down at Daemon, taking on a serious demeanor as he speaks.

"Tell me, Daemon, how would you describe the quality of life we currently have?" He asked. "I speak in general terms. The home we live in, the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the positions we aspire to."

'That's an odd question.' The Dragonborn thought before answering. "I don't complain about the life I have, Vult. I eat, drink, sleep, kill, and I repeat the process every day. I have no problems with the life I lead. It gives me something to do, a purpose."

"A purpose..." Vult repeated, shaking his head. "What do you think will happen to us after the war is over? When the Princess Knights and the so-called Elf Goddess no longer need us? Sure, someone in your position might not have a problem with their life, but perhaps only for a while. Though you are not from here, don't forget you were once a dog of war. It doesn't matter if you've been named as a knight. You're still one of us at this point. To the other kingdoms, however, we are nothing more than low born mercenaries. But we just became the ones who ended this war, a war that took one hundred years for them to put an end. For us, it only took us only one night. Sure, we will be greatly rewarded that will last us for just a couple of years. But what do we do after that? Unlike those condescending princess knights, we have nothing to get back to. Not to mention the society that despises and loathes us for being poor, ugly, vile, or just different. That is the reason why I united all these men and formed an army, because we all have a common goal. I'm sure you have it too."

"There are other lands beyond Eostia, beyond Skyrim." Daemon pointed out. "I'm sure other kingdoms in those lands will buy your services once they hear of your reputation."

Vult would not deny that as he nods. "Hmph, true. I wouldn't deny the option that we could just pack our bags and leave this country. But I am in no interest to do so. Hear me this though, will they remember you for how you defeated the Dark Queen? Will they recognize you so you could become the main character in the history books?"

That is when Vult declared in a loud voice. "NO! Absolutely Not!"

It shook a lot of men in the room, all except Daemon who's expression was blank underneath his helmet.

"They sent us here to DIE!" Vult proclaimed. "Did you really think they counted on us to take on the Dark Queen? Then give us the bounty and praise us as heroes? Nonsense! They never believed we would survive! They wanted us dead! Why else would those smugly cunts send lowly mercs to attack the Dark Queen's castle instead of their own armies?"

To Vult's eye, he noticed everyone being enchanted and convinced by his words. But when looking at Daemon, it was difficult to tell what he was thinking underneath the helmet. But Vult clung to his own mind and thought of the same as everyone else. He trusted Daemon as before and thinks that the Dragonborn believes in his words.

"Hmph, I'm sure you're starting to see the bigger picture here," He said. "Once we return to Ken, we will be treated as heroes at first, but soon the celebration ends. We'll become just trash, just like we were before. We will spend the rest of our lives as worthless outcasts while the people spit on us. You may last longer than most of us because of your ties as a knight, but with no Legion to fight, what does that leave you? Nothing at all. You will go down in history as just a mere merc. And no matter how much you try to be useful; the Princess Knights will turn back on you. However, there is an alternative that we can avoid that to happen."

Vult then smirks. "Not only have we claimed the Black Fortress as our own and captured the last remaining Dark Elf, but the Legion remnants have joined our cause!"

Daemon then looks around and adds to that fact, "I can see why since the orcs are here."

"Now that our army is even stronger than you could possibly imagine, we will take our chance to invade the other kingdoms and create our own empire! Think about it. We can form a new country where the Kuroinu rule and live as kings! You can have everything you've dreamed: money, power, but even better, women as your personal sex slaves. After all, we risked our lives for them, so why wouldn't they return us the favor with their bodies? Don't you agree? They will please you forever and bare your children so your legacy may live on. And who's to say just the mercenaries, but all who serve in the Kuroinu Army will be rewarded!"

Daemon blinked udnerneath his Daedric helmet, mouth slightly opening in shock at what Vult was saying. He knew it. He knew Vult was like similar men who believe women should be treated as sex slaves to breed. It seems the bastard was showing his true colours now. Daemon took a small glance around and saw everyone in the room seemed transfixed upon Vult, as if in a dream. He could then see the twisted, mischievous, and wicked smiles on their faces.

He soon turns back to Vult, meeting his eyes with his.

"Daemon, you have been my most valued soldier, the only one that I could never have. All of this could not have been done without you. So I ask you this… Will you join us and be my right hand?" Vult offered. "In return, you may have the Queen as your reward. Maybe one of the Princess Knights will become yours. Maybe even Cellestine herself."

Everyone in this room was completely enraptured by Vult's speech. They practically drooled at his own words, all in favor of creating this... Sex Empire. Hicks and Kin as well had lecherous smiles on their faces at the thought of having all the females subjugated as sex slaves. Everyone in the room agreed to this proposal.

All except Daemon who remained as a statue. All eyes were turned onto him, waiting for his answer. He did not cheer or become enthralled like the rest. He just stood still; his head dipped a little like he was thinking about it. As far as anyone can tell, the Dragonborn didn't seem at all fazed by Vult's words.

Finally, he spoke.

"I'm in."

Vult smiled smugly as the men cheered. "Good! I knew I could count on you!"

'And it'll be your greatest mistake.' Daemon thought darkly.

"Now to start... " Vult's grinned turned sinister. "We should have the Dark Queen and her pet brought to us for some... entertainment."

The Dark Elves sat patiently on their beds, waiting for Alistair to come back from his meeting with Vult.

"I don't like this, My Queen." Chloe said worriedly. She was fidgeting with her hands in anxiety. "It's taking too long for a simple meeting. Do you think something happened?"

"Are you concerned about our mysterious, dark warrior?" Olga asked with a teasing smile. "You do seem to have warmed up to him in his time visiting us in this cell."

"N-No!" Chloe looked away, blushing a little in embarrassment which made Olga chuckle.

Any further conversation was stopped when they heard two pairs of footsteps approaching from down the hall. Daemon, followed by a pair of Orcs, arrived. Chloe tensed as the Orcs grinned lecherously while Olga looked at Daemon with worry, hoping he hasn't betrayed them yet she had faith he hadn't.

"Take them." Daemon ordered. One of the Orcs took a key and opened the cell door but as soon as he did, Daemon unsheathed one of his swords and decapitated the orc, then spun and decapitated the second one, killing them both without making too much noise.

"Wha...?" Chloe blinked in shock as Daemon came into the cell and freed them from their binds.

"I'm getting you two out of here." Daemon said, cutting Olga's binds with a dagger. Then did the same for Chloe.

"What's happening?" Olga asked.

"Vult." Daemon growled. "He and the Kuroinu plan to turn the land into a Sex Empire with women being nothing but sex slaves for breeding and pleasure while they life the life of gods."

"Disgusting humans!" Chloe growled.

"I take it you refused." Olga stated more than asked.

Daemon looked at her. "He doesn't know I really want to kill him, so I fooled him by agreeing to it. Now, is there any secret way out of here?"

"Yes, but first we need to find my staff." Olga said.

"Oh you mean this staff?" Daemon walked over to where some cloaks laid and pulled them off to reveal Olga's staff, as well as some weapons. "I snatched it when no one was looking and hid it down here while you two slept. Had to prepare ahead in case of something happening."

Olga chuckled as she took her staff. "You impress me more and more, Daemon the Dragonborn."

"Anyway, my lady, now that we are free, now what?" asked Chloe, picking up the weapons and strapping them to her.

"I shall do what I intend to do: go to Celestine, end our petty conflict, and have them execute the traitor Vult," Olga said.

"While normally I would disapprove of this, but in this situation it seems like the most logical choice." Chloe sighed.

"Daemon, if you'd be so kind as to escort Chloe and I out of here, please?" asked Olga to Daemon, giving a kind smile as the three of them will be working together for quite a while.

Daemon gave a nod. "Of course. My horse won't be able to carry the three of us, so I'll need to call an old friend. Now, is there any way out of here?"

Olga smirked confidently. "Don't worry, Daemon. I know a way to get around without being seen at all."

Olga walked over to the brick wall and pressed a brick. The brick had a hidden rune on it, which glowed as the brick sank into the wall. The wall then opened up to reveal a passage way.

"I have passageways like this hidden all over the fortress. The only way to activate them is by finding the right brick and applying a little magic and I can make them lead to anywhere in the entire fortress."

"Useful." Daemon complimented. "Let's go."

Olga kept up the pace and walked alongside Daemon. Chloe noticed the two getting closer and decided to cut between them. Daemon didn't seem to care or even notice. Olga let out a quiet sigh of annoyance and Chloe just smiled happily at her mistress' side. For a couple minutes they walked down the dark halls until they finally reached their destination. A single door.

They went through the door and found themselves in a narrow room with another door on the other side. The room looked like a walk in pantry. Long shelves lined the wall with rare weapons, armors, and other paraphernalia sitting on them.

"I take it this is the armoury." Daemon stated more than asked.

"Yes." Chloe said.

I keep all of my most valued treasures here." Olga explained. She walked over to one of the shelves and grabbed a medium sized brown bag. She then grabbed a very ancient sword and placed it inside the bag. Before he could tell her that wouldn't work, the sword easily went in the bag. Something that shouldn't have been possible for something so big to fit into something so small.

"A magic satchel." Daemon realized.

"Yes indeed." Olga smiled knowingly. She must have seen his confusion and found it amusing. "I can fit many items in this bag and it will not be even a pound heavy."

Olga, Chloe, and Daemon then grabbed all the other items in the room and placed them in the bag.

"Alright, that should be all of them." Olga said looking around, making one last sweep to make sure they cleaned up.

"Good, then let's leave."

They went for the door, Daemon going first. He opened the door and peaked out, spotting three guards at a table, playing cards. Daemon looked at Olga and Chloe, putting up three fingers to show there were three guards nearby. He motioned Olga and Chloe to be quiet and then he stepped into the room.

His action caught the guard's attention.

"Daemon? Where'd you come from?"

"We couldn't get that door to open. How'd you get in?"

Daemon remained silent as he walked towards them, unsheathing his swords in the process. The looks on the men turned to confusion, then to shock and fear.

Before they could do anything, Daemon struck quickly, decapitating one man, then impaled the second through the head with his other sword. The third man fell over, whimpering as he crawled backwards.

"P-Please! Daemon! Don't-!" The man got his throat slashed open and blood gushed out like a fountain, some of it splattering onto Daemon's armour but he didn't care.

"Impressive." Olga said walking up behind him.

"You're pretty good with those." Chloe mentioning his weapon skills.

"I trained hard when I was young. Now let's get out of here." Daemon said.

Suddenly they heard a horn blow in the castle.

Daemon knew exactly what that was. "Shit, that's the alarm. They know we're escaping. The front gate will be locked down now."

"Then what do you suggest we do?" Chloe asked.

Daemon took a few seconds to think before he got an idea. "We'll go the way we came in. The secret passageway. That's not too far from here. Let's go and be ready for a fight."

The two nodded and followed the mercenary. Daemon cracked open the door to see the coast was clear. They quickly ran out and down the hall. They were nearly there until several Black Dogs Mercenaries saw them.

"Hey they're over here!" One shouted.

"Shit!" Daemon cursed as he pulled out his swords.

Chloe dashed past Daemon and did battle with two of the mercs. Chloe was quick and agile. When one of the men swung there weapons at her she was already somewhere else. Chloe ducked underneath and stabbed the guy in the head and then cutting off the arm of the other. Letting the dead man fall, Chloe slowly approached the bleeding man who was clutching his stump in pain. Chloe crouched down and shot toward the man. She decapitated him.

"You fucking traitor!" The Kuroinu merc yelled.

Daemon blocked several angry sword blows with his own swords. On the fourth swing, Daemon swung at the man's unguarded hand. The sword clattered to the ground and the man's hand became a jumbled mess. His fingers and wrist were all bending at odd angles. The man stared in horror at his disfigured hand and screamed in pain, but he was silenced as soon as Daemon brought his mace down on him. Caving in his skull and splattering blood on the wall.

"Excellent work you two." Olga complimented.

"Thank you for your kind words, Lady Olga." Chloe squealed cheerfully from being praised by her mistress.

"We need to move. Now." Daemon said urgently.

The three hastened their trek to the hidden passage. They arrived and not a moment too soon. Kuroinu began to show up on both sides.

"There they are!"

"Don't let them get away!"

Olga clicked her tongue. "Annoying little pests!" She swung her staff around and a wall of fire blocked their enemies from them. The heat of the flames was intense and made the mercenaries back off.

"Let's go." Daemon said urgently, as he held open the door. The two went through and Daemon followed them. When he closed the door he looked at Olga. "That fire won't stop them."

"No," Olga waved her staff in a circle in front of the door "but this explosive trap glyph should." Sure enough a magical glyph appeared on the door.

"Yeah that'll work."

The three walked down the stairs away from the door. By the time they got all the way down, they heard an explosion come from where they just were.

"Let's hope that explosion took many of them." Chloe said.

"Rubble should be blocking their path now. They can't catch us now." Olga said with a content smile.

"Time's wasting let's go." Daemon said, moving forward.

The group was half way through the passage until Daemon suddenly stopped.

"What is it?" Olga asked suspiciously.

"Why did you stop human? We need to leave." Chloe glared.

Daemon just stared straight ahead and pointed. "We have company."

Olga, confused raised her staff and emitted a light from her crystal. Ahead of them was a group of goblins. These goblins were short, standing about three feet tall. They had green skin and little hair, long noses, and pointed ears.

"What are these cretins doing down here?" Chloe fixed her glare on the little demons.

"I guess Vault wanted the back door secured just in case and left these demons to guard it. Smart making goblins watch this place. They love dark and dank places."

"Stand aside." Olga pushed the two out of the way and strode toward the goblins. "I am your queen, goblins. I command you to let us pass!" She swung her hand out exaggeratingly for more effect.

The goblins looked at each other before they burst into high-pitched laughter. Olga was shocked that the demons, especially the weak-willed ones, didn't obey her. Her cheeks brightened with embarrassment from being laughed at by one of the weakest creatures in her army.

"How dare you laugh at your Queen?! " Olga outraged.

The goblins spoke up in their little scratchy voices.

"You're no queen any longer." One of them taunted.

"Washed up you are!"

"Let's bring her back to Vault. Maybe he'll reward by letting us fuck her!"

Several of them pulled out blowguns and shot darts at her. Olga was so surprised by their defiance and embarrassed that she didn't have time to put up a barrier. But before the darts could hit her...

"FUS RO DAH!" Daemon shouted, sending the darts right back at the shooters and killing multiple of them, as well as either destroying or sending some survivors flying back and killing them when they made hard impact with the walls or ground.

"That's gonna get everyone's attention." Daemon grunted.

The few remaining goblins abandoned their blowguns and took out small daggers and clubs. A few charged at Olga, who they considered the most vulnerable. Olga glared at the green little monsters. She raised her staff and fired lightning at them. The goblins screamed in pain before they died.

"Ha!" Olga yelled out triumphantly, but then all of a sudden she became woozy. She stumbled on her feet a bit, before leaning on her staff for support.

After slicing open the throat of a goblin, Chloe saw her mistress' condition.

"Lady Olga!" Chloe yelled out in worry.

All of a sudden, a fireball came out of the darkness and headed straight for Chloe. Daemon got in front of her and blasted it with an Ice spell before seeing the one who conjured the fireball. A Goblin Warlock. This goblin was five feet tall and adorned in animal leathers and other mystical knick-knacks. In its hand was a crude wooden staff.

"Go check on Olga, I'll deal with this one."

While she loathed to follow a human's orders, her Queen was in trouble and this human was giving her a chance to save her. Chloe wordlessly agreed and headed for Olga.

Daemon cracked his neck and gripped his swords tightly, preparing for a fight.

Chloe ran up to Olga, concern etched on her face.

"M'lady are you alright?"

"I-I'm well, Chloe, thank you for your concern. I just feel a bit drained is all." Olga looked up and then she looked surprised. "Look out!"

Olga grabbed Chloe and moved her out of the way of a meaty fist. In front of them was another goblin, a hobgoblin. Hobgoblins were big, muscular versions of goblins. Standing at six feet, with bodies made of hard muscle and hands that could rend bone with ease.

The hobgoblin towered over the two dark elves and stared at them lecherously.

"Stay back!" Chloe bared her daggers at the hobgoblin.

The hobgoblin chuckled deeply and swung its large fist at Chloe. Chloe jumped away just before the hit made contact with her. There was enough force behind that punch to make spider web cracks in the stone floor. Chloe slashed her daggers at the hobgoblin, but they did little damage to the creature. The hobgoblin grabbed Chloe by the arm and tossed her to the side. The wind was knocked out of her when she hit the wall.

The hobgoblin looked over at Olga who was barely standing, keeping herself up with the help of her staff. Olga glared and tried to cast a spell, but when she did she became nauseous and weak. Seeing its prey completely defenseless the hobgoblin took its chance.

Olga became horrified when she saw the perverted grin of the hobgoblin as well as its large erect cock. For some reason she was too weak and her magic wasn't working properly. What was happening to her? Was she going to become this creature's toy? The hobgoblin reached out to grab its prize.

Bu then, a sword came through the hobgoblin's face, killing it instantly. Olga blinked before she looked to see Daemon had tossed one of his swords while grappling with the Goblin Warlock, which forced him up against the wall and caused him to drop his other sword.

Daemon grunted before he sucked in a deep breath. "Yol!" A burst of fire came out and burned the Goblin's face, causing it to screech in utter agony as it's face burned. It gave Daemon the change to grab the Goblin's head before he twisted it, killing the creature instantly.

Daemon picked up his swords before he saw Olga sitting on the floor and was concerned. "Olga, are you alright?"

"Y-Yes, I'm okay." Olga said, taking in some deep breaths.

Daemon walked over to Chloe to check on her, helping her to her feet. For once, she didn't argue as he helped her up and then helped Olga up.

"Just hold onto me, both of you." Daemon told them.

The three walked over the goblin corpses and exited the secret passage. Being outside was a blessing to them and now that they were far away they headed back to Ken to tell all of Eostia that the war was at an end . . . and a new war had started.

Both Olga and Chloe give a sigh of relief as they exit the passage into the sunlight. They were in the same spot where the Kuroinu first gained entry into the Black Fort: right outside the walls in the ruins where Kin found that secret passage door.

"Finally, we're out of that awful cave," Chloe sighed.

"When we return, I'll see to it that the passage is refurbished," Olga inquired.

Her line of thought was interrupted by another voice.

"Ah, so here you are just like the monsters reported," A familiar voice rung through the air. The two dark elves were shocked but not Daemon, having anticipated this ambush beforehand.

Vult stood in front of his men along with some of the orcs. And he glared at the Dragonborn.

"How naïve of you, Daemon," Vult said. "Did you really think I'd let you just walk away with our treasure? You're more of a fool than I mistook you for."

"It was you who made the mistake of thinking I was actually your ally. I was always suspicious of you lot from the start." Daemon said calmly. "Don't think I'm going to stand aside as you try to make women your breeding stock. That won't happen while I live."

Vult chuckled. "Well... you won't be living any longer."

Daemon smirked underneath his helmet. "Oh, so many have said the same, many have tried to kill me... and they've all fallen. Do you wanna know something about me, Vult?"

"What's that?" Vult frowned.

"When you stand before me... you will fall before me." Daemon said before he sucked in a deep breath, looked to the sky and shouted. "OD AH VIING!"

The men tensed, waiting for something to happen. After a few seconds, they began to laugh.

"What was that meant to do?" Vult mocked.

"I really hope this is part of your plan." Chloe hissed at Daemon quietly.

"Just wait." Daemon said with a smirk.

"Take them!" Vult ordered. "We'll have Daemon watch as those two bitches are fucked, and then we'll kill him afterwards."

The men approached, causing Olga and Chloe to tense and they clutched the back of Daemon's armour in preparation for a fight while Daemon himself was calm.

Suddenly, there was a roar and a huge burst of fire shot from behind Daemon from the sky, and struck quite a lot of the Kuroinu men, burning them. It caused the rest to scream in surprise, shock and fright as they backed away.

"DRAGON!" One of the men shouted, pointing to the sky and all looked up.

A red dragon flew over them, circling before it unleashed another stream of fire, burning more of the men as they tried running for cover. Vult, Hicks and Kin ducked behind a wall to avoid being burned.

The dragon soon landed, crushing two men underneath his feet. He picked one up in his mouth and swung him around, sending the corpse into more men and orcs, then swung his tail, battering more men. The dragon then turned his head and looked at Daemon.

"Drem Yol Lok. Greetings, old friend." The dragon spoke with a deep, rumbling male voice, shocking Olga and Chloe.

"Odahviing, my old friend. It's good to see you." Daemon said with a smile underneath his helmet. "Thanks for the help."

"Always, Thuri." Odahviing said, before focusing back on the battle and making sure the men and creatures stayed away. "If you and your companions wish to leave, then you may get on my back!"

Daemon nodded and turned to Olga and Chloe who were still in shock. "Come on!"

"Get on that thing?" asked Chloe. "Are you out of your mind?!"

"This is our ride out of here!" Daemon revealed. "Now come on!"

Fearful yet not wanting to stay, the two dark elves complied as they head towards Odahviing. Olga gets on first, right behind Daemon, while Chloe does the same behind Olga. Both cling on to the Dragonborn for dear life as Odahviing flaps his wings to take flight. The gusting winds hold the rest of the Kuroinu back as the dragon soon takes off.

Soon they disappeared into the red sky, leaving a field in flames and the Kuroinu and the Legion numbers dwindling. Imps could not pursue the gargantuan beast as it flew high in the sky, with their prizes and traitor in tow. Archers could not hope to shoot it down with arrows as its range was too far. Not even Kin's spells would reach the monster with its cargo.

Vult could only look at the dragon in disgust and in fury. Hicks and Kin were behind him, still in shock of what had happened. Yet they gave Vult a wide berth for they knew that he was incredibly furious, and not just with his prizes gone.

"Daemon…" Vult breathed the name with hate and loathing. The name that dared to betray him and destroy all he had hoped to accomplish. The name that would side with the Alliance instead of him, a foreigner no less.

With all the hate he could muster, Vult roars the name to the very heavens where the gods could hear it.

"DAAAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEMMMMMMMMOOOOOOONNNNNNN!"

And that's it for this chapter. I hope you all enjoyed it and found it thrilling to read. Yeah, Odahviing was always going to show up... just had to let him make an entrance. Also, there was subtle references to House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones.

Actually, there was a quote from House of the Dragon, and a bit that was like a scene out of Game of Thrones. Can anyone spot it?

Fair warning, the next chapter will feature the first sex scene.
