Chapter Nine: Pokemon Performers and chaos begins
Dawn smiled as she looked at Ash and May. "I was just about to practice training for tomorrow's gym battle - I need to figure out how to win with just Piplup though!" she said as she looked at the statues of the Pokemon she and Max had just made.
"I have an idea - why don't you make the ground wet? That way it'd be slippery - if Piplup knows Water Gun - tell him to use it on the ground to soak it" Ash suggested smiling to Dawn.
"That's a great idea, Ash! Yes, we'll do that and try to make the ground soaking wet throughout the battle to make things easier, thank you, Ash!" Dawn gave him a hug in reply for the suggestion, smiling he returned the hug, and let go.
"You're welcome! I'm looking forward to watching your battle tomorrow, Dawn. Can't wait to see it. After you've finished your practice battles - should we get ready for something to eat and head out to the hall to watch the Pokemon Performers" Ash said.
"I think that's a great idea, I'm starving!" Dawn said smiling to him. "Alright, Piplup - use Water Gun on the ground to soak it!" Dawn added, mimicking Ash's idea.
Piplup nodded and jumped back into the field again and used Water Gun - wetting the ground completely. "I see how it goes now! They should have difficulty moving around with it being wet" Dawn said in admiration.
"I'll let you finish off these statues, Dawn - I'll try again sometime tomorrow to get ready for my battle after yours!" Max said.
Dawn nodded. "Alright, Piplup - use Bubble Beam on Cranidos's statue's feet!"
Piplup did just that - with that move, the Cranidos statue fell down and crumbled into bits and pieces. Dawn repeated the move on the Geodude and Onyx statues too.
"Wow - that's so cool, Dawn!" May commented watching her friend in excitement. "I can't wait to see you battle tomorrow!"
"And after yours - it'd be my very first battle and finally, Ash's!" Max added.
Brock smiled. "We'd better get ready before it gets late - what time did Nurse Joy say it started?" he asked.
"You know, we forgot to ask! We were so excited to see it! We'll ask her when we return to the Pokemon Center for dinner" Dawn answered.
The five friends made their way back to the Pokemon Center and noticed that Nurse Joy was rather busy with trainers all lined up with injured Pokemon.
"Wonder what happened?" Ash said in concern noticing some trainers looking really worried. A girl who looked familiar to Ash and Brock overheard Ash ask that.
"Hi Ash and Brock! Remember me?" the girl asked. She smiled as she looked at him holding an Espeon in her arms. The girl had maroon coloured hair with red beads holding her hair in ponytails. Instead of her regular clothes she wore a pretty white and blue dress.
"Sakura? It has been a long time!" Ash answered in surprise. "I haven't seen you since Johto. How've you been?"
"I've been great, thanks Ash! I decided to set out on my own after getting more confident in Pokemon battles - my sisters are still doing the same things as usual of course. I got inspired to become a coordinator after watching May's contests which is one of the many reasons why I'm here in Sinnoh. Though something unusual happened today which is why so many trainers came to see Nurse Joy with injured Pokemon" Sakura explained smiling to him. She then noticed May and smiled in delight.
"AH I can't believe it! It's the Princess of Hoenn herself" Sakura excitedly said smiling to May.
Ash smiled as he looked at May then back at Sakura. "Sakura - I'd like to introduce you to my friends - though you already know May and Brock - this is May's brother Max and our new friend Dawn!" Ash said smiling to them.
"Nice to meet you, Sakura. Am I really that famous back in Johto? I was going to go there until I found out they have contests here" May said smiling to her.
"Yes! Everyone talks about you, May. Nice meeting you in person and you too, Max and Dawn! Back on topic to the strange happenings - Ritchie, Brendan, Espeon and I noticed a shady group of people near the Oreburgh Mines so we went to investigate, and it turns out they've been stealing Pokemon Fossils I've just came to tell Officer Jenny about it, but I can't see her anywhere. A group of trainers have tried stopping them - but their Pokemon got injured by a giant robot Zapdos" Sakura explained in concern. "I really hope it doesn't cancel the Pokemon Performers tonight."
"Sounds like Team Rocket" Ash quickly suggested unaware the duo he was thinking of had in fact quit.
"No. It wasn't Jessie and James - these people had the letter S dawn on a badge on their shirts and were dressed in black. They call themselves Team Shadow and appear to be on a mission to restore fossils to revive ancient Pokemon - they want to cause chaos for the Sinnoh region" Sakura explained.
"Team Shadow? Never heard of them. That can't be good - I wonder what happened to Officer Jenny and why they want to cause chaos for Sinnoh" Max said looking at Sakura in concern.
"I'm waiting for Ritchie to return - he and I are travelling together right now he's getting his Pokemon healed - when his Pokemon are healed he and I are going to find out more information about them" Sakura told them.
"Ritchie? It's been a long time since I've seen him" Ash said remembering who he was.
"Who is Ritchie?" Dawn asked curiously.
"You'll meet him shortly - he's a good friend of mine and Ash's. He and Ash both have Pikachu as their starter Pokemon and are alike in so many ways" Sakura explained smiling to her.
"I'm back, sorry about the wait, Sakura - I've never seen a Pokemon center this busy in a long time. Hi Ash and Brock, it's been a long time" Ritchie said smiling to them. On his shoulder was a Pikachu with ruffed up fur on his head.
"It sure has, Ritchie! I heard about what has happened. I'm torn whether to check it out or watch the Pokemon Performances" Ash said wanting to do both at the same time. He introduced Ritchie to May, Dawn and Max.
"I think it should be fine to watch the Pokemon Performers - besides, Sparky needs a break from the battle. I already have defeated Roark in the gym a couple days ago - as to Team Shadow I really doubt something will happen tonight at least I hope not" Ritchie said shuddering at the thought of something bad happening.
Sakura and Ritchie joined Ash and friends for dinner then made their way to the hall where the Pokemon Performers was going to be held - there was a line of fans alike waiting for it to open.
"Are you going to enter, Sakura?" Dawn asked curious to know.
"I'm thinking about it - I'll see what it's like in tonight's performance and if I like it, I'll join" Sakura answered smiling to her. "That reminds me, Ritchie, he hasn't shown up yet and is rather late for some reason" she added in concern.
"Yeah - it's weird he's not here. Usually, he's with us since we met him on our travels" Ritchie added in concern. "We last saw him near the mines!"
"What could he be doing?" May asked worried about their companion though she didn't know who he was.
"I hope he's not doing something stupid like checking Team Shadow out without us" Ritchie said with a frown. "I guess all we can do is hope to meet him among the crowds, otherwise, I'll send my Pokemon out to search for him afterwards" he added.
"What is your friend's name?" May asked.
"His name is Brendan - he's from the Heonn region - I met him there throughout my travels - wait you know him too?" Ritchie answered earning a surprised look from both Max and May.
"Yes - he's our neighbor, we've known him for years and May - mfmfmfmfm!" Max told him then May covered his mouth with her hand and blushed slightly.
"Max! That was years ago" May quickly told him. "I don't feel that way anymore" she whispered to him - not wanting Ash to hear that.
"Wonder where he could be then" Sakura said in concern. "That's cool you've known him for a long time!"
May nodded in agreement as she let go of her brother. Max gave May an annoyed look.
"We didn't really hang out that much though, to be honest" May told Sakura. "I was always with Max, and we had our own friends plus we'd go to Kanto for holidays to spend time with Ash and his family" she added smiling to Ash then at Sakura.
"I'm sure he'd be fine!" Max said bringing a smile to Sakura's face. It was soon their time to go inside the hall to watch the Pokemon Performers and there was still no sign of Brendan much to Sakura and Ritchie's concern. The group of seven friends sat together on the front row seats waiting for the performance to start - when it did, a young woman appeared on the stage dressed in blue appeared with a microphone and a concerned look on her face.
"Hello everyone and welcome to Oreburgh City's very first Pokemon Performers show! I'm your host Liliana and will announce the prizes shortly. For the Pokemon Performance contests - there will be at least five winners - the first prize will get the title Queen of Sinnoh, a key, Master Ball and a Pokemon plushie of their choice, second prize will get a Princess of Sinnoh title, key along with Pokemon Plushies of their choice and lifetime supply" Liliana continued on listing the prizes which caught the attention of many trainers in the audience.
"Without further delay, I want to introduce you to our very first performance - Lita and her Pokemon who will show a dazzling display for everyone to enjoy! There are several trainers in this performance" Liliana said then the curtains closed for a moment or two.
"Did you see that she looked concerned, Ash?" May whispered.
"Maybe she's got stage fright?" Ash whispered back.
"I doubt that - something must be going on - maybe linked to Team Shadow?" Max suggested.
The curtains reopened and a girl around Brock's age stood on the stage - she was rather pretty and had red hair, blue eyes and dressed in pink. Brock at once had hearts in his eyes looking at her. "She's cute!" Brock gushed.
"You say that to every girl you meet!" Ash replied chuckling at his best friend.
"True but she really is cute!" Brock gushed again.
Lita had brown hair and hazel eyes - she wore a green dress with yellow flowers on it and white sandals. "Hello everyone! Nice to meet you! I'll start my performance now - come on out, Tangles, Honey and Sugar!" Lita called out three of her Pokemon. Tangels was a Tangela, Honey a Beedrill, Sugar a Froslass.
"Wow they're cute - never seen a Froslass before" Ash commented, getting out his Pokedex to look it up - he had seen the first two though. "Froslass, the Snow Land Pokémon and an evolved form of Snorunt. It freezes its opponents to temperatures nearly minus sixty degrees."
Music started playing in the background as Lita and her Pokemon started dancing and doing tricks - Tangels was juggling bowling pins, Honey and Sugar were doing their own things - Honey danced and Sugar made an ice-rink with her beam and began skating on that, with Sugar and Tangels joining - Lita quickly changed her shoes to the ice-skating ones and joined her Pokemon dancing on the ice.
"Now finish it off with Hyper Beam, Tangels, Sugar - use Thunder and Honey - use Solar Beam!" Lita ordered her Pokemon after she got off the ice and changed her shoes back. Each Pokemon used the moves on the ice rink which sent the ice flying into the air. "Sugar, wrap it up by eating the ice with Crunch!" Lita ordered. That move wowed the audience.
"Thank you - everyone for your attention and enjoy the rest of the performances!" Lita bowed to the audience who clapped and cheered for her in return - some threw roses down to the ground, which she gleefully collected and recalled her Pokemon - she then left the stage and the curtains closed for a moment.
"That was fun! I really want to do the Pokemon performance" Dawn commented - May nodded in agreement as did Sakura.
"I'm sure you three will be great too!" Ash told them.
Before anything else could even happen - an explosion was heard from outside - which made many people panic - Sakura and Ritchie looked at one another at once, worrying about Brendan once again.
"We'd better go check it out" Brock volunteered getting up from the seat. The others followed him, as did many other people.
Another explosion was heard along with yelling.
"Could it be team shadow?" Ritchie asked grabbing Sakura's hand - not wanting to lose sight of her - after Brendan not showing up.
"I think it might be" Ash replied, his Pikachu was on his shoulder. The group of friends soon made their way to the mines and noticed a group of people dressed in black who appeared to have an ancient Pokemon with them - that Pokemon wore a collar around its neck and a long leash being held by a group of mysterious people To Ash, it looked like in pain.
"What kind of Pokemon is that?" Dawn asked pulling out her Pokedex. "Aerodactyl: A Pokémon that roamed the skies in the dinosaur era. Its teeth are like saw blades!" at once she looked concerned.
Aerodactyl struggled against the people who kept holding it down.
"Cut it out, Aerodactyl!" the team member yelled out at the fossil Pokemon who struggled against it. The member picked a rock from the ground and threw it at Aerodactyl thinking that'll do the trick - that's when Aerodactyl snapped - it pulled with all it's might to break free from the teams grip - when it did, it sent a Hyper Beam against some rock walls that were near Ash and his friends, the rocks broke and fell down onto the ground nearby.
"Quick, duck!" Ash yelled out, quickly pushing both May and Dawn to the ground and protecting them at once, Brock and Max ducked, as did Ritchie and Sakura - just in time as the Aerodactyl swooped over them - Max grabbed onto the leash in hopes to pull the Pokemon down and calm it - instead, it began to take off with Max - in results, May quickly got up to grab hold of Max - and it took off with both Max and May, leaving the two screaming.
"MAY! MAX!" Ash cried out in concern. "Has anyone got a bird Pokemon I can borrow?" he asked wanting to go after them. "I left mine back at home."
"I have Charizard and Swellow - let's go Zippo and Rose - Ash you can use Charizard while I send Rose to find some help" Ritchie offered - Ash thanked him and quickly climbed Charizard.
"I'll go with you - you might need help from a water type!" Dawn pointed out. Ash nodded.
"I'll stay on ground to help Ritchie and Sakura with Team Shadow" Brock added. "Be careful!"
Ash nodded. "I'll look after Zippo too, Ritchie - thank you again!" he added making a mental note to return the favor somehow. "Hello Zippo, it's been a while - could you follow the Aerodactyl?" he asked - Zippo obeyed Ash and flew after the Aerodactyl.
"YOU are such an idiot! I can't believe YOU let go of the Aerodactyl! I told YOU we should use Sleep Powder before we control it, but YOU thought it was a good idea to put the lead on now!" an angry Team Shadow grunt argued with their teammate.
"But it was a good idea at the time - besides, we have two others we can work with and all the other fossil Pokemon! No biggy over this one" the grunt said with a shrug.
"No biggy over this one? That Aerodactyl took two of my best friends - do you have any idea how worried I am about them?" an angry Brock responded to the grunts.
Sakura stayed close with Ritchie and let go of his hand - she looked around to see if she could spot Brendan anywhere and only saw his hat not too far from where they were.
"So? I'm sure they'll be fine. They shouldn't be interfering with our plans!" the grunt responded laughing at Brock.
"Your plans? What are they exactly?!" Brock demanded to know.
"I wouldn't tell you even if you won a battle against me" the grunt challenged Brock to a battle.
"Bonsly and I will easily defeat you!" Brock replied - taking out his Pokeball.
"I'll help you with the others!" Ritchie said - nodding to Sparky, Sakura nodded in agreement with her Espeon by her side.
It wasn't long before a news helicopter came flying over Oreburgh City.
"This is Sinnoh Now - tuning in! An Aerodactyl has somehow came into the future and now has two trainers hanging from a leash that somehow got hooked on it. Were these trainers responsible for it?" a news reporter said as she poked her head out of the helicopter door and hang onto the door frames with her college reporting it.
"Tracey! Come here" Misty demanded in concern. "Oh no! It's May and Max!" she added watching as her two friends appeared to be hanging on for dear life as the news reporter zoomed in on the situation. The camera then showed Ash and Dawn with Zippo and Pikachu - Ash had a rope ready to throw at Max and May to catch.
"We have a boy who is determined to save his friends from their fate!"
Tracey had been preparing dinner for him and Misty when she called him - he quickly rushed to the lounge room and gasped after seeing the scene. "I really hope they'll be okay!" he commented. "Knowing Ash - he'd do something reckless!"
Misty nodded.
They weren't the only ones watching it though - Professor Oak, Delia, Caroline and Norman were watching it from their Floaroma Town hotel room in concern - they were having a meal together when they turned the TV on to watch the news.
"I can't watch!" Delia gasped but still wanted too.
"My babies!" Caroline and Norman cried out in concern.
"My baby looks like he's about to save yours and Dawn's helping" Delia gushed proudly - as she watched Ash getting closer to Max and May. He threw the rope end at Max who missed it while the Aerodactyl flew at a steady pace.
"I'm really scared!" he said.
"Me too, Max! I love you!" May said, hugging her brother tightly.
"I love you too, sis!" Max replied.
"Now on the count of three - I'll let you know when it's safe to let go!" Ash said planning the rescue mission carefully in his head.
"I love you too, Ash!" May whispered softly, only Max heard that. She hung onto Max.
Ash watched the Aerodactyl and looked at Zippo. "Zippo - could you fly underneath the Aerodactyl?" he requested the Charizard who at once obeyed. Dawn had one arm around Ash's waist.
"Now Dawn!" Ash ordered. "Let go you two - I promise we'll catch!" he added.
Dawn nodded and reached her hand out to whoever she caught first which was May, and Ash caught Max safely. The two siblings hugged their friends.
"That was so scary - thank you both so much!" May said, relieved that ordeal was over.
The four sat on Zippo's back while the Aerodactyl was still flying - this time it seemed really agitated and started using Hyper Beams here and there. It did summersaults and more Hyper Beams.
"What a relief we're not on it anymore!" Max said, May nodded in agreement.
"We still need to sort out Aerodactyl - return to the ground and help out with Team Shadow" Ash said, relieved that his two friends are now safe with them. Ash, Dawn, May and Max sat together on Zippo as they figured out how to calm Aerodactyl.
"I think we'd need to battle Aerodactyl to help calm it down" Dawn suggested as she got out a Pokeball.
"Great idea, Dawn. We'll try and lure Aerodactyl to the ground so we can battle it that way" Ash agreed with her.
"What a relief!" Misty said sighing in relief after the news showed they were safe - though the danger was still far from over.
"I agree, Mist! That had me really worried for them" Tracey said as he watched the news report.
"I'm so glad our babies are okay! A big thank you to Ash for saving them" Caroline said smiling to Delia. "You certainly raised him very well!"
"Thank you - I'm relieved they're safe too! I'm proud of our pumpkin. I'll call him when I get the chance to" Delia said, relieved to know he was safe too. "But it looks like it's not over yet" she added in concern. "Dawn did a great job too - must tell Johanna about her!"
Johanna had been feeding Glameow when she turned the TV on only to tune into Sinnoh news - only to see what happened so far with Aerodactyl.
"If it's a battle you want - it's one you'll get! Come on out, Gengar!" a Team Shadow Grunt called out his Pokemon which surprised Brock as he expected a Korbat.
"Bonsly, let's go!" Brock called out his Pokemon - determined to win either way.
"I agree with what he said!" Another grunt said looking at Ritchie.
"If that's the case - Sparky, it's your turn!" Ritchie calmly replied as the Grunt sent out another Genger.
"Genger is our team's mascot" the grunt explained.
"Espeon, you too!" Sakura joined in.
"Genger, use Hypnosis on Bonsly!" the Team Shadow Grunt ordered.
"Bonsly - quick, dodge!" Brock ordered but it was too late - Genger obeyed the grunt who smirked at once.
"That was easy! Genger - use Confuse Ray!" the grunt ordered, his Genger obeyed and used the attack on Bonsly who was now sleeping and confused. While this happened, the grunt pulled something out of his pocket. "Shadow Ball!" The Genger used Shadow Ball on Bonsly, knocking the baby Pokemon out cold - Brock grit his teeth in annoyance, and ran off to get his Bonsly, while he did, the grunt threw something on the ground which covered it in smoke so thick that Brock, Ritchie and Sakura began coughing.
When the smoke cleared - Team Shadow were gone.
"Typical - the cowards must've had that planned. We'd better keep an eye out on them - is everything okay?" Ritchie said looking at Sakura and Brock who was now holding his Bonsly.
"I'm fine - still worried about Brendan though" Sakura said. "His hat is over there - he must've been this way!"
"Hm - if Team Shadow are like Team Rocket - there's a chance that Brendan would've been caught and taken somewhere" Brock said with a frown. "Does he know a lot about Pokemon?" he asked trying to figure out a reason for why the bad guys took him.
"He knows a great deal of them and wants to meet all the legendries" Sakura replied. "But what could that do with Team Shadow?"
"Sounds to me if they do have him - they'll most likely try and get word out of him where the legendries are if he knows the location" Brock suggested as he recalled Bonsly to his Pokeball. "We'd better get to the Pokemon Center and heal our Pokemon before we go and look for him!"
Ritchie and Sakura nodded and followed Brock to the Pokemon Center.
"I've got a better idea - you mightn't like it though, Ash" Dawn said as she waited for Zippo to get closer to the Aerodactyl again - when Zippo did, she let go of Ash and jumped from Zippo and landed on Aerodactyl's back - much to Ash, May and Max's alarm.
"DAWN! What are you doing?!" Ash called out in concern for her.
"No need to worry - I have this aak under control!" Dawn called back as she quickly grabbed hold of the collar - just as she did, the Aerodactyl tried shaking her off - which made her hang on tighter and close her eyes. "Maybe this wasn't such a good idea..." she muttered. "No, I need to stay strong and help Aerodactyl get this collar off. I can't call Piplup out cause it's too dangerous!"
Ash, May and Max looked at one another and at Dawn. "I think we need to go back to the Pokemon Center to get more Pokemon - I'll return Ritchie's Charizard and get mine back - we need to get backup to help Dawn!" Ash said at last. "I don't want Zippo to be hurt!"
May and Max nodded. "We'll need all the help we can get" Max said in agreement.
"Right - I'll ask Nathan if he can send my Pokemon from the gym to me since he's looking after it" May said.
"DAWN! HANG ON! WE'LL BE BACK AND GET HELP FOR YOU!" Ash called out to her - as Aerodactyl flew away from them - with Dawn on it's back.
Dawn heard them and smiled though she was absolutely terrified. She was surprised that the news crew hasn't attempted to help her even considering she knew they were recording. "Thank you - Ash! I'll try!" she said, clinging onto Aerodactyl for dear life as the Pokemon flew away from Zippo.
"Zippo - could you fly us back to the Pokemon Center as fast as you can?" Ash asked. "Thank you for your help - I'll give you back to Ritchie this is an urgent situation!" Max and May clung onto Ash as they flew back to the Pokemon Center.
Dawn clung onto Aerodactyl and tried figuring out how on earth to bring it down to the ground to help it. "Shame I didn't know a Pokemon who could fly and use sleep powder then again that could be a risky situation too - sigh-. Aerodactyl - it's okay, I'm here to help you!" she bravely said to the flying Pokemon who at once attempted another summersault to throw her off - Dawn wasn't allowing that though, she kept clinging on as tight as she could and closed her eyes - though she began feeling sick after a few summersaults but wasn't going to let that deter her from helping it. Dawn had a look at the ground from where she and Aerodactyl were and regretted it - they were very high and she at once began worrying about falling.
"Don't let go!" Dawn said to herself, muttering that receptively as she tried thinking of a way to calm the Pokemon down. "I can't use Piplup at the moment as it's too risky - he'd get hurt - what can I do?" She looked at the scenery ahead in hopes to find something to help her but so far nothing.
The news crew continued recording the moment adding comments here and there.
Misty was sitting on the edge of the seat - wondering why on Earth Ash and the others fled and left Dawn. She was annoyed with him for doing that unaware he had different plans to help Dawn out.
Tracey was feeling just as annoyed as Misty was. It wasn't until a while later; the couple heard the phone ringing. Misty answered it and saw a concerned Ash on the other side.
"ASH! What on EARTH are you thinking of leaving her alone?!" Misty blasted not letting him tell his side of the story.
"Hi Misty - no time to explain but can you please send me some of my Pokemon over to help get Dawn off Aerodactyl? I'm in a real hurry! Will tell you what happened afterwards!" Ash told her.
"Uh sure - what Pokemon are you after? What a relief - I thought you were going to abandon her!" Misty sighed in relief. "I should've known better!"
"I wouldn't abandon a friend, Misty. As for the Pokemon: Noctowl..." Ash quickly listed a couple other Pokemon too, Tracey got them for him and sent them to him.
Ash smiled and thanked him before making another quick phone call to get Charizard back. Ash quickly met up with Ritchie afterwards and gave Zippo back to him - thanking him for the lend. May had made her phone calls as well to have a couple of her Pokemon back to help rescue Dawn.
"The three of us are going to try and find Brendan! I'd help you with Dawn but at the moment I can't - be safe" Brock said, referring to himself, Ritchie and Sakura.
"You be safe too, Brock. Hopefully, you can find him - I'll let you know when we get Dawn back!" Ash said, then took out Charizard's Pokeball as he, Max and May ran out of the Pokemon center.
"Ready to go?" Ash asked Max and May.
"Mhm!" Max and May nodded.
"I just realized something and wish I thought of it earlier though it might have been risky - I could've asked Ralts to use Psychic to bring Dawn back to us!" Max said annoyed at himself for not realizing that until now.
"It would've been risky too especially with how unstable Aerodactyl is" Ash said gritting his teeth. "Noctowl should be able to help with Ralts though! May - who did you get?"
"I got Glaceon back and Beautifly" May replied smiling to Ash then looked concerned. "Hopefully they can help out!"
Once back outside the Pokemon Center - Ash called Charizard and explained the situation to him.
"Noctowl - come on out! Noctowl - see if you can find Aerodactyl and Dawn" Ash ordered as he climbed on Charizard's back. He quickly showed Noctowl what Aerodactyl looked like - Noctowl understood what Ash meant and flew off.
Max and May climbed up on Charizard's back ready to help Ash save Dawn.
"We're coming, Dawn!" Ash said, determined to save his new friend. 'The gym battle will have to wait - this is much more important!' he thought.
Note: The gym battle was originally going to happen in this chapter - however, as you know, Team Shadow chose to make their debut and Aerodactyl taking Dawn made things a bit more impossible! Will Dawn be okay? What do you think happened to Brendan? Team Shadow are my OC team - similar to Team Galactic who will make an appearance. What do you expect will happen in the next chapter?
