"Have you seen Emily anywhere? Braixen, this tall, was wearing a hoodie last I saw her- oh, in one of these rooms? Thank you loads man."

Of course, Jeff had hoped that Emily's night out would be a fun one, but despite his optimism, he was aware that the anxious girl was likely to regret it to an extent, and after she'd apparently ran upstairs at something early on in the evening, he couldn't help but be a bit worried for her despite her reassurance. Worry that grew larger after his attempts to DM her went unrequited, the Braixen apparently having not even read his messages judging by what the app was telling him.

She was likely just asleep or something, but knowing her, she was probably itching to get back home by now, the party reaching a lull giving Jeff an excuse to check up on her and drive her back home if needed, and himself too while at it most likely- it's been fun sure, but not fun enough to spend all that money on gas on his way back, especially since he kept his word and stayed away from booze all evening.

"One of these rooms" wasn't very concrete advice, and the possibility that more of them were occupied made the Mienshao pause. He didn't want to accidentally walk in on someone, but was unsure how to proceed with that in mind- he could lean in and rest his ear against the door, but in case he did end up hearing something coming from there, would that be fucked up or not? Less fucked up than just walking in on them and slamming the door shut so hard it had a serious chance of breaking in panic afterwards for sure, but still at least partly fucked up.

Something, something, the lesser evil... he probably should've paid more attention back in the literature class, heh. You gotta do what you gotta do.

Hesitantly, the Mienshao made his way from door to door, listening in to each for a few seconds before either peeking in or walking away- thankfully he only ended up being accidentally pervy once, and dashed way from that door as fast as he could afterwards, but what he'd heard was still enough to make his heart rate spike and a fluster to burn his purple furred cheeks up. Most other rooms turned out to either be empty, or in one case occupied by a few people passing a bong around while playing some sort of card game. They even offered him a seat, but sadly, Jeff had to decline- he would be needed sober tonight.

By the time he reached the end of the corridor he thought that maybe Emily had gone off somewhere else, the emptiness that awaited him in the next couple rooms that followed not disputing that idea either- he knew that he'd have to check all of them to be sure of course, and when listening in on the next door didn't result in anything his ears could catch, he confidently pressed down on the handle and leaned in to take a look.

Out of all the things he expected to see, Emily, Ceecee, and Ceecee's girlfriend sleeping naked together wasn't one of them, the sight making him freeze in equal parts confusion and shock as the opened door let a beam of light in, sniping the Gardevoir in just the right way to make her stir from her sleep, a low groan leaving her before she opened her eyes, staring up at the figure in the doorway, her mind recognizing it as Jeff not long after.

The two stood at an impasse for a few moments afterwards before Jeff finally spoke up with a loud whisper, hoping he wouldn't wake the other two up-

"You all doing okay?"

Ceecee let out a low groan and clung to Emily even tighter, closing her eyes afterwards.

"How does it look like we're doing."

It was at that moment Jeff realized he'd made a misstep, mouth opening to genuinely answer her rhetorical question before he understood the intent, starting to slink back out of the room as he whispered back-

"See you in the morning then?"

"See you in the morning Jeff."

Before he could even finish closing the door, Ceecee did it for him, psychicing the door closed, doubling as a light shove to push him out of the room, Jeff thankfully not minding any on behalf of being way too embarrassed by what he ended up accidentally doing and seeing to care. As unfortunate as that was, it let him know that Emily was both doing alright, and that she'd be staying the night, which meant...

*croak*

"You guys still have a spot open?"
