Wishworld, Madagascar

Lottie, Shimmer, and Shine were visiting the place, hoping to find some rare star-eyed lemurs. Lottie was amazed, because she heard so much about them in her zoology lessons, but never saw one in any of the Starland Zoos.

"Today is your lucky day," Shine assured. "We get to see some star-eyed lemurs for ourselves."

Lottie was using her Star-Zap to take pictures of the star-eyed lemur when she acidentally bumped into a Madagascar boy with safari clothes. "Apologies for my accident, Wis-um, human," Lottie awkwardly said. "I'm doing a report on the star-eyed lemur."

The Madagascarian boy rolled his eyes in disbelief. "The name's Andro," he greeted. "My boyfriend and I are setting up a picnic for the plant nursery we work at."

Lottie was so pleased, that she decided to help the boy out. Little did she know was that Andro was glaring at her in suspicion. He murmured, "Could she be who I think she is?"

Starling Academy

It was parents day at Starling Academy. Everyone's parents were visiting to see how their doing. Carrie didn't mind about that because her dad worked at the Shimmering Shores. The only one who's parents didn't show up were Phoenix's.

"By the light of firebirds," Phoenix growled, "I can't believe that Mom and Dad had to bail Parents Day, all for that little singers' convention in Old Prism." Luna and Mega tried to calm her down, but no avail.

Nichelle was nervous now, since some of the runaway Wishlings didn't have families. Sage came up to her newfound adoptive daughter. "Listen," she said. "I know that you're new to Starland, but you should take the time to get to know The Golden Roar Experience's parents."

"You're right," Nichelle agreed. With a big smile, she started to get to know The Golden Roar Experience's parents better.

Madagascar, Pallas Planted Palace

Back on Wishworld, Lottie was going around the place when saw some golden roars. Just as she was about to grab them, an old man stopped her. "Watch it, you baby Starlings!" he shouted. "I just planted those!"

"I've heard of middle aged Wishlings saying 'You get off my lawn," Lottie recalled angrily, "but you take it too far." All of a sudden, she realized something. "Baby Starlings?" she asked. "Only a Starling can say that and not a Wishling." Looking up, she could also see more Starland flora, including a kalidescope tree. She looked at the old man in a stern look. "Your Pallas Columba, aren't you? The groundskeeper of the time when Lady Stella was a teenager."

"Fine," admitted the old-time Starling while his gray hair changed to a natural green. "You caught me. I've been on Wishworld for such a longtime, I forgot who's a Starling and who's not. The only ones who knew my secret were Masoandro's family and his Starling boyfriend, which are also the only employees in the shop."

"Pallas," Andro interupted while holding hands with a male starling/fairy, "did you really have to call me by my full name?"

"I have to," answered Pallas. "It's polite manners. Your parents were part of the botany department of the National Supers Agency."

Seeing Andro's boyfriend, she knew exactly who he was. "Journey?" Lottie asked. "Look at you."

"Hey, hey, Lottie," greeted Journey. "How much stars did you see?"

Lottie was thrilled, because the Wishling she met was Journey's boyfriend. "I see that you met my boyfriend Masoandro," Journey explained. "Masoandro, one of my little sisters, Lottie."

"I'm beginning to understand," Lottie realized. "You left home because you were a closeted gay. Mom is a psychiatrist, and if it gets to her workplace, it'll get cosmic."

"Starxactly," Journey replied. "I had no choice but to go backpacking in Madagascar, dudette, because I totally admired the starmazing scenery. If it weren't for Pallus giving me a job opening as a gardener, I wouldn't have, like, met my zoomy boyfriend."

Behind them, something glew. Lottie pushed through them and saw that the picnic basket that they were going to use was a Wonder Wish: Family. "That basket was getting old anyway," Pallas admitted.

By the time they went outside, Hydra's snakes snatched the Wonder Wish and gave it to him. Hydra had the genie twins bound and gagged while they had Tala and Nahal trapped in a genie-proof cage. "Hey!" Pallas shouted. "You're tresspassing on protection property!"

Angered by obeying senior orders, Hydra knocked Pallas out cold. Angered by Hydra's behavior, Lottie got out her panpipes and played "Ry Tanindrazanay malala รด!" Hydra became annoyed by this, but the lemurs enjoyed it. Admired by her music, they freed Shimmer, Shine, and their pets.

"That's it," Hydra groaned. "I'm not staying for a panpipe recital." Just like that, he teleported away.

"Talk about monkey see, monkey do," joked Journey.

Tala and Nahal came up to the elderly gardener. Wanting to wake him up, Lottie used her fairy dust to wake him. Just like that, he did. "What happened?" Pallas asked.

"A cosmic bounty hunter tried to steal the Wonder Wish from us," Lottie explained, "Believe us, my friends from Starling Academy are dealing with him and Horriblescope."

"This better not be like those phony wish fixers from 'The Fairly OddParents'," Pallas groaned. "Remember those business pixies tried to trick Timmy. Luckily, one of Wanda's special fairy gifts is detecting good and bad wishes."

"Yeah," Lottie replied. "Luckily, our friend Becky can detect good wishes."

"Speaking of Becky," Shimmer replied, "we better get back and meet the others' parents."

Starling Academy

Later, they were arriving the same time Libby was performing music from Johanebula Starbastar Bach. After Libby was done, Mr. and Dr. Tinkerson saw Journey holding hands with Andro. They were surpised and thrilled, because they hadn't seen their first-born Starling in a long time, and that he was gay.

"Mom, Dad," Journey said, "there's someone I like you to totally meet." He brought up Andro to them and said, "This is my boyfriend, Masoandro."

"But please," Andro replied, "call me Andro."

Curious, Lottie wondered why someone as grumpy as Pallas would allow Journey to stay with him. "Your brother reminds me of my son before he began his afterglow," Pallas explained, "never afraid to find true love and has proper care for both flora and fauna. I don't know what he saw in that Starling getting over her best friend, but she worries too much."

"You worry a lot, too, Pallas," Dr. Tinkerson replied. "Dr. Tinkerson, psychiatrist. Lady Stella warned me that you might come. Talk to me and I'll find a solution with your son's afterglow."

During that, Lottie and Journey played tag with their siblings Lisa, Franny, Shelly, Shira, and Bud. "Listen," Andro said to Mr. and Dr. Tinkerson "My brother and sister are looking for a wedding anniversary present for our parents. I've already bought them both new watering cans for gardening. Journey told me that you two are experts on heart-warming gifts."

"So your parents are the gardening type, like me." Mr. Tinkerson said, "I've got some Starland Birdhouses that might bring a little light to their garden."

"Thank you." Andro replied, "I'm sure they'll love that."

After they left to get the birdhouses, Tala and Nahal spotted some Glowjay playing in the flowerbeds. They tried to get them out, but they ended up getting pecked.
