Hey guys The Vaudevillain Veteran here. Again my deepest apologies for the late update, as life had unfortunately gotten in the way. Thanfully I had prevailed and manged to deliver another chapter of Shisui's journey to you all. I'd like to thank everyone who reviewed, and all the silent readers out there, for reading my story as it means a lot to me. Thank you all and enjoy the chapter.

"What do you mean big brother?" Suigetsu asked his brother curiously, just wondering what he meant.

"What I mean is..." Mangetsu looked over the cliff with a stern expression.

"That this world is not ours. I can detect life forces nearby, but they do not have chakra." Mangetsu finished.

"What? How is that possible? You mean that there are other worlds out there we don't know about?" Suigetsu asked again.

"Yes it seems so. Keep by my side at all times, we don't know if the natives here are friendly or hostile." Mangetsu stated.

Mangetsu's mind: (I can sense an energy presence nearby, hopefully a village. I'll just head that way.)

Mangetsu proceeded to head to the south-west, where he had picked up the energy signal originate from, with Suigetsu following suit.

(Back in the Hidden Mist Village...)

A titanic battle commenced on the rooftop of the Mizukage building between Yagura Karatachi and Yoshanai Kaguya. Yagura had fought valiantly against the Kaguya clan leader, using all his own strength and that of his bijuu residing in him.

Unfortunately this would not help turn the tide of the battle toward's Yagura's favour, as Yoshanai's kekkkei genkai, along with his immortality which proved to be a perfect counter to Yagura's fighting style, and the Fourth Mizukage was eventually overwhelmed by the might of the Kaguya clan leader.

"Just what...are you?" Yagura panted as he knelt on one knee in exhaustion.

A smile of pure satisfaction crept upon the Kaguya clan leader's lips as he pulled out his bone scythe. Yoshanai made a circle that encased a triangle around himself, his skin turning black in the process. Making his way slowly towards Yagura he grabbed him by the collar and lifted him into the air with his bone scythe in hand.

"Don't you already know...Yagura...?" Yoshanai asked cheekily as he placed his scythe by Yagura's throat.

"FOR LORD JASHIN!" Yoshanai screeched into the eerily quite air of the battle torn Mist as he sliced off Yagura's head clean off with Yagura's now beheaded body falling to the ground like a sack of potatoes.

Yoshanai, proud of his victory of the Mist, and over the Mizukage, walked towards the edge of the Mizukage building which possessed a grand view of the village hidden in the Mist.

"COMRADES! TODAY WE HAD SHOWN THE HIDDEN MIST VILLAGE THE MIGHT OF THE KAGUYA CLAN! REJOICE MY FELLOW CLANSMEN! FOR TODAY OUR LORD WATCHED OVER US TO ENSURE OUR VICTORY! PRAISE BE TO LORD JASHIN!"

"PRAISE BE TO LORD JASHIN!" The Kaguya clans watching from below erupted in unison.

Watching from nearby, Jashin merely looked on sternly.

"Hmpf. Now that we have the Mist under our control it is time to initiate the next phase of our plan." He announced to the three men next to him.

"However we must not get too complacent now that we have the Mist under our control, for if we got too arrogant we will overlook simple mistakes that could cost us dearly." He added.

"Or certain people eavesdropping on our conversation..."

A figure with chalky white skin and snake eyes appeared from out of the bushes with his hands raised in surrender.

"Kukuku...it looks like I have been discovered." The man said.

"Who are you?" Indra asked the man harshly, activating his Sharingan in the process.

"I am Orochimaru...one of the three legendary sannin of Konoha." The man named Orochimaru answered cockily. Orochimaru quickly noticed Indra's activated Sharingan, which made him grin even wider than before.

"Kukuku...to what do I owe the honour of being in the presense of an Uchiha?" Orochimaru asked slyly.

Indra merely scoffed at Orochimaru's statement of false awe, he did not need his Sharingan to see through his false words of praise.

"I ask again. What business do you have here?" Indra asked again, his patience running thin.

"My dear Uchiha...I merely wish to join you and Lord Jashin on your endeavors, for I am merely a scientist curious about how the rules of the world work." Orochimaru explained in his signature sinister yet friendly tone.

Jashin merely bore his gaze upon Orochimaru's figure, analyzing him from head to toe.

"You may join us." Jashin said flatly, earning a look of surprise from Indra.

"Jashin, why do you want this freak to join us?" Indra objected.

"Because..." Jashin started.

"Orochimaru, with his skills at acquiring information, is someone we would rather have on our side instead of Lilith's. " Jashin stated.

Indra wanted to retort, to try and reason with Jashin that Orochimaru is someone who could not be trusted. However right before he could speak again Kimimaro arrived.

"My Lord, I have some unfortunate news. Mangetsu Hozuki has managed to escape the Hidden Mist village. He was last seen grabbing a young boy out of a destroyed building, but before members of the Kaguya clan could follow him, Mei Terumi sacrificed herself which immobilised several nearby clansmen, and by the time I got there Mangestu was already gone." Kimimaro explained as he knelt on one knee.

Jashin scowled in anger at Kimimaro's message, and would have killed him on the spot where it not for...certain circumstances.

"This is unacceptable Kimimaro. You are my chosen champion, I expected better from you. Do you at least know where he went?" Jashin scolded the young man, who only looked toward the ground in shame.

"A temple my lord, we had almost caught Mangetsu. But when we tried to enter the temple, a barrier appeared in front of us and said that due to our Spirit Energy being contaminated, we were denied access." Kimimaro further explained.

"Spirit Energy you say?" Jashin asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes my lord, that's what the voice in the temple said."

"I see.." Jashin muttered as he stroked his chin.

Jashin's thoughts: "Hmm Spirit Energy, if Kimimaro said that the machine mentioned Spirit Energy then that means the 'temple' was a portal of sorts, that leads directly to my world."

"Kimimaro." Jashin said sternly.

"Yes my lord." Kimimaro responded with a hasty bow.

"I know where Mangetsu has escaped to, so I shall give you another chance. Your new mission will be to track down Mangetsu and kill him, however if you fail again I shall not be as merciful next time, understood?"

"Understood my lord." Kimimaro replied.

The Third Mizukage, Ketsueki, had listened attentively the entire time, silently gathering as much information as he could. Talks of another world has greatly piqued his interest, and he was eager to learn more.

"My Lord." Ketsueki spoke up.

"Remember how I requested earlier that Nullus accompany me on a journey to your world?" Ketsueki asked, earning a slight nod from Jashin.

"I feel that Kimimaro will need my assistance on his mission to hunt down Mangetsu Hozuki, as I myself have decades of experience of how to hunt down rouge-nin, so I humbly ask if I may accompany him on his mission instead." Ketsueki requested.

"Hmmmm, if it increases the likelihood of the mission succeeding then I permit you to join Kimimaro." Jashin said as he turned his back away from the Third, instead turning his vision to overlook the village.

"Lord Jashin, if Kimimaro is going to be sent to eliminate Mangetsu then who will take out Shisui?" Nullus spoke up.

"You make a good point Nullus. Shisui will become a significant thorn in our sides in the near future, so I shall assign that duty to Indra, as his fighting style and dojutsu can easily counter and overwhelm Shisui's" Jashin explained.

"I see. You make an excellent point Lord Jashin. If the Third Mizukage will be accompanying Kimimaro I also request to accompany Indra on his mission as well." Nullus requested.

"You will not be accompanying Indra." Jashin said flatly.

"W-why? I know our world better than anyone else here!" Nullus retorted.

"Ever since you disobeyed my orders and pulled that little stunt of yours in Lescatie, when I explicitly reminded you to keep a low profile at all times, you have now become the Order's most wanted fugitive, even more so than Lilith and her whore daughters." Jashin replied in a harsh no-nonsense tone.

Nullus scowled in irritation, he absolutely despised being talked to like a child. Alas he bit his tongue for now, because as much as he hated to admit it, Jashin was right.

"Did you forget? You were the one who sent me on the mission to kill Casper Jashin, I merely did as instructed." Nullus asked, regaining his calm demeanor once again.

"That you did yes. But you instead decided to massacre an entire church when you did not need to, and to top it off you showed off Casper's head in front of the king like an arrogant fool. " Jashin answered.

Nullus scowled in irritation, he absolutely despised being scolded as if he were a child again, unfortunately though he could not deny Jashin was correct about the consequences of his actions.

"You are too brazen with your emotions when in the presence of the Order. Which is another reason why I want Orochimaru to accompany Indra instead. Speaking of, Orochimaru, you and Indra have a few hours to get prepared before I send the both of you to begin your mission." Jashin added.

Orochimaru grinned in pure delight. The thought of being able to enter another world, with beings possible more powerful than all those in the shinobi world greatly excited him.

"Kukukuku...I appreciate your generosity Lord Jashin...now Indra, let us get prepared shall we?"

(Four hours later..)

Atop the Mizukage tower not stood a massive white portal. Standing in front of said portal where six individuals.

"Kimimaro, Ketsueki, Indra, Orochimaru. Before you enter my world are all well aware of you mission?" Jashin asked in a general like manner.

"Yes my Lord!" Kimimaro replied.

"Certainly..." Orochimaru said softly.

Indra and Ketsueki merely nodded in agreement, ready for their assignment.

"Good...now go!" Jashin ordered as the four induvials entered the portal. Once the four had entered the world of Monster girls they immediately split up to find and kill their respective targets.

Kimimaro's mind: (Do not worry my Lord...I will not fail you this time.)

Ketsueki's mind: (I am curious for what this world has to offer. Only time will tell.)

Indra's mind: (Hmpf. Keep barking Jashin, for I won't be your errand boy for much longer.

Orochimaru's mind: (Perhaps I can finally find the key to immortality in this world...oh the possibilities.)

(Back with Shisui... 1 Month later...)

Shisui relaxed atop his house that overlooked the lower district of Lescatie. The crisp morning air was perfect, not too chilly and not too humid. Yesterday's conversation still rang through Shisui's mind, and for the first time in perhaps months he had felt genuine hope.

Shisui's mind: (If what Sasha says is true, then a war will be prevented without anyone getting hurt, and the clan can start over in a new world without the likes of Danzo around to dictate how they should live.)

It had already been almost a month since Priest Noscrim's funeral, the current mood in Lescatie was a somber one, for they now faced a new foe who to some, is even worse than the mamono. Wilmarina looked to be the most sullen of them all, as from what Shisui heard, she had not made a single public appearance since the funeral. His thoughts then drifted back to Marisa, which made the young Uchiha feel a pang of sorrow for failing to save her. In that moment Shisui decided that since he currently had plenty of free time, he would purchase some flowers to place them at her grave, as his way of keeping her memory alive. Having relaxed enough on top of his roof Shisui jumped down onto the ground below, startling a few civilians.

Shisui took a casual stroll through Lescatie, making his way toward the flower shop. However within five minutes a small crowd of people had gathered around and offered words of praise to him.

"Sir Shisui! The shining light of Lescatie!"

"The Demon Lord stands no chance against us now that we have Shisui on our side!"

"Shisui the protector!"

Were amongst the dozens of praises Shisui received while he walked towards the flower shop. He couldn't help but smile at being called Shisui the protector. Being viewed as such reminded Shisui of what he had to protect, and to ensure that no harm would ever come to his new home.

"Good morning Sir Shisui!" The florist greeted Shisui with enthusiasm.

"Good morning to you too. I'd like to have a boquet of White Roses please." Shisui said as he handed the florist the money.

"Absolutely! Here you go Sir Shisui!" The florist answered with glee as she accepted the money and handed Shisui the flowers.

The crowd continued to follow Shisui as he made his way towards the cemetery, with the women in the crowd eagerly looking at the flowers in his hands.

"Ohhh! Are those flowers for a special someone Sir Shisui?" One woman eagerly asked Shisui.

"No they're for me." Another woman replied as she wrapped her arms around Shisui's arm.

"No. They're for a person who I failed to protect..." Shisui answered glumly. The two woman understanding what he meant looked at Shisui with a saddened expression as they gave him space, with the rest of the crowd doing likewise.

"I understand, my apologies for such brash behaviour Sir Shisui." The first woman apologized.

"No need to apologise, what happened was not your fault." Shisui replied.

"I don't mean to rude to you all, but right now I just...need some time to myself please." Shisui requested

Arriving at the cemetery a few minutes later, Shisui made his way towards Marisa's grave, which only took the young Uchiha a few minutes to find. Compared to the other graves, most of which were encased in glamourous mausoleums, Marisa's one simply had a white tombstone.

Shisui placed the flowers on the grave and offered a small prayer. Once he had finished his prayer he noticed someone else also in the cemetery. And that someone was a certain heroine from one of Lescatie's noble families.

"Wilmarina, how are you? I haven't seen you since the funeral." Shisui asked with concern.

"I've been doing...as best as I could." Wilmarina muttered as she avoided eye contact with Shisui.

Shisui picked up on her body language, she was not being entirely honest with him. This situation brought a lot of Deja-vu to Shisui, only instead he was in the position of the Fourth now.

"I'm sorry for what happened to your father Wilmarina and that you are mourning right now. But isolating yourself from everyone will only do you more harm than good." Shisui advised.

Wilmarina did not reply to Shisui, and instead continued to stare at her father's grave.

"Trust me, I know what you are going through. Had it not been for some very good people in my life I would've lost myself to anger, bitterness and revenge."

Wilmarina allowed Shisui's words to sink in. They had indeed struck a chord with her and for a few moments had gazed into space, when Shisui's voice brought her back from her thoughts.

"So please, don't allow those negative emotions to eat you up and turn you into someone you are not. If you ever need an ear to hear your woes I'm always here." Shisui told Wilmarina.

"I understand Shisui...thank you... for everything." Wilmarina said as she tried to put on a smile on her face.

"Huh? Waddaya mean by everything?" Shisui asked, confused at Wilamrina's statement.

"Ever since you arrived in Lescatie nearly a month ago, everyone just seems happier now, especially with the lower class populace. It's as if you have reinvigorated their hopes. Whenever I go meet Lady Sasha at her Orphanage I always hear people talking about how great you are. So I ask, how do you manage to do that?" Wilmarina asked.

"It's my ninja way, to protect those close to me, that is what gives me strength. I had seen many people close to me die, and many children my age become broken by war and forced to grow up before their time. And because of that I vowed to protect what is good in this world and to be the pillar of strength for those who need help. I will admit, there are many bad people in this world, but there are also good people in this world, people like you, Primera and Sasha who vow to uphold the basic principles of what makes us human, and to remind us the importance of showing compassion, empathy and love in a world that is often uncaring. Such individuals are ones I always vow to form lifelong bonds with because those individuals who will support and love you through thick and thin, and it is for those people for whom I'd gladly sacrifice my life for if it means protecting them at all costs." Shisui stated.

Wilmarina listened attentively to Shisui's explanation. His words struck a chord in her heart, deep down she even admitted to herself that Shisui was in her opinion, too pure for this world.

Wilmarina's mind: (So this is why the Chief Goddess selected Shisui as a hero. Could he actually be the one who will help us defeat the Demon Lord?)

"I see, you have a very noble heart Shisui, don't ever lose it no matter what. Your words...remind me of what it means to be a hero, and again I thank you for that." Wilmarina stated as she looked up to the sky with a hopeful expression.

"My pleasure. And please, if something is ever bothering you, please come visit me, my door will always be open if need me." Shisui said as he shot Wilmarina a reassuring smile.

"I appreciate your generosity. Until next time Shisui." Wilmarina said as she left the cemetery.

Shisui too left the cemetery for another 10 minutes, walking quietly whilst reflecting on how his life had taken a rather bizarre turn in the last month.

Shisui's mind: (Itachi, Sasuke, hopefully I'll be able to see you two again, I just hope I'm not too late to.)

Shisui decided that he'd pay Sasha and the orphans a visit, mostly because they had genuinely grown on him in since he had arrived in Lescatie and also because he wanted to ask Sasha how she was coming along with her plan. Arriving at the church that doubled as an orphanage Shisui noticed that Sasha was standing outside the entrance with Elt and two young girls.

"Big Bro...why do you have to leave?" The younger of the two girls muttered sadly as she tugged on Elt's arm.

"I'm sorry Emiyu, but the Order just discovered a monster village nearby, and we have to get rid of it before they do any harm to us. I promise I'll only be gone for two weeks." Elt replied as he hugged the both of them.

"Two weeks!? But it will really quiet and lonely without you big bro, even Miss Sasha will miss you while you were gone." The older girl explained.

"What about Shisui? He will be here while Elt is gone." Sasha spoke up as she approached Elt and the girls smiling warmly.

"Yeah, but Sir Shisui is nothing like Elt!" The older girl objected.

"Yo." Shisui casually greeted as he waved his hand to the group.

"S-sir Shisui, I didn't m-mean what I s-said. I-I was just j-joking." The older girl stuttered as she noticed Shisui.

"I heard it all. Is that really what you think of me Lisia? That hurts." Shisui said as he put on a fake sad expression.

"N-no Sir Shisui! You're nice too!" Lisia frantically stated.

"Hehe it's ok, I'm just joking with you." Shisui said happily as he ruffled Lisia's hair.

"Is that...Mr. Shisui!" Jennifer screamed as she ran towards Shisui, embracing him in a tight hug.

"Sorry I couldn't come yesterday, I was busy with some stuff." Shisui said as he gently patted Jennifer's head.

"It's ok Mr Shisui. As long as you are here that's all that matters." Jennifer said as she smiled happily.

"Shisui. It's been a while. How are you?" Elt greeted as he offered a handshake.

"Alright. Just came to visit to see how you were all doing." Shisui explained as he picked up Jennifer with his right arm.

"I dunno if you heard but, another monster village was spotted nearby, so I shall be accompanying Lady Merse and Primera on a mission to deal with the monster threat." Elt stated.

"Before I leave...may you please do me one favour Shisui?" Elt asked.

Shisui nodded in agreement. Elt breathed in deep as he prepared to speak.

"Will you look after Lisia and Emiyu while I'm gone? They mean the world to me, and I wouldn't be able to live with myself if anything happened to them." Elt requested.

Shisui striked a thumbs up which he accompanied with a smile.

"Don't worry. I'll make sure nothing happens to them and the other orphans while you're gone." Shisui assured Elt.

"Thank you Shisui. I promise I'll pay you back." Elt sighed in relief.

"No need to." Shisui stated.

"W-why?" Elt asked puzzled.

"Because as a shinobi it is my duty to protect those close to me, so please rest easy, I will protect them at all costs."

"I see...thank you again Shisui. I need to leave now, don't want to keep Lady Merse waiting." Elt replied as he hugged the girls and Sasha.

"Good luck Big Bro!"

"Stay safe please big bro."

"Elt...take care." Sasha said last.

Once the trio were doing saying their goodbyes, Elt left and made his way towards the city entrance, with Sasha and the girls waving goodbye to him.

Shisui was the first to speak up after Elt's departure. Once he had left Sasha leaned in close to Shisui's ear.

"Shisui, come see me in my office tonight." Sasha whispered.

Shisui merely nodded in agreement as he knew what the arrangement was for

(A few hours later...)

Nightfall had fallen upon Lescatie, and most of it's residents were sound asleep in their homes., except for a certain Uchiha.

Shisui had arrived at Sasha's window in no time, and upon noticing him quietly opened the window, making sure nobody was watching them.

"Please take a seat Shisui." Sasha asked as she sat down by her desk

"Sure." Shisui replied as he complied. Once he had done so Sasha made sure to lock the door, so no one could interrupt them.

"I offer my aplogies for keeping you up so late. It is the only way we can guarantee our privacy." Sasha said as she smiled warmly.

"It's no worry Sasha, I'm used to being up at late hours." Shisui replied.

"That's good to hear. So Shisui...I'm certain you know what this meeting is about?" Sasha asked politely.

"Yes...it's about my clan right?" Shisui replied.

"Indeed. I want to introduce you to someone who will help us bring your clan here, she has been very eager to meet you." Sasha explained.

"Hmmm ok. What is her name?" Shisui asked.

"Druella, Fourth Daughter of the Demon Lord." Sasha said.

"The Demon Lord? She's the leader of the mamono correct?" Shisui inquired, wondering why the Demon Lord's daughter of all people wanted an audience with him.

"Correct. Lady Druella will explain the details regarding your clan's arrival when you meet her." Sasha said.

"Now...follow me." She instructed as she light her lantern.

The next 15 minutes were quiet to say the least, Shisui had followed Sasha through a small dark and damp passageway that barely had enough room to walk through, despite the quietness though Shisui's mind was in overdrive at the possibility of being able to save his clan.

"There is another reason why I want you to meet Druella by the way." Sasha spoke up.

"I want to show you first hand that the mamono are nothing like how the Order portrays them. And I hope that by you seeing their benevolent nature you will not believe me to be decieving you." She added.

"Sasha...why wouldn't I trust you? You've shown me more than enough that you are a good person." Shisui chuckled as he continued to follow Sasha through the passageway.

Sasha gasped at Shisui's comment, deeply touched by his words. "Thank you...for trusting me Shisui." Sasha said

"When I said that my sister's spirit lived on in you I wasn't lying you know. I only reserve such compliments for those I hold in very regard, like you Sasha."

"I see...I assure you Shisui, that I promise I'll help get your clan here safe and sound." Sasha stated confidently.

Another silent 5 minutes had passed until Sasha stopped at a dead end.

"We're here." Sasha stated as she opened a trapdoor, which allowed the moonlight to peek into the passageway. Shisui followed suit shortly after, glad he could breath in fresh air again. However another sight caught his attention.

It was white haired woman wearing extremely revealing clothing and had white wings on her back, this was arguably the most beautiful women Shisui had ever seen.

"Oh my...I know I am supernaturally attractive dear, but please...come back down to Earth ok?" The white haired woman asked Shisui as she waved her hand in front of his face.

"Eh?" Shisui muttered as she noticed the woman waving her hand in front of his face.

"A pleasure to meet you Shisui Uchiha, I am Druella, fourth daughter of the Demon Lord." Druella explained.

"A pleasure to meet you as well. I heard that you were the one who is going to help bring my clan here" Shisui said warmly as she shaked Druella's hand.

"Indeed you are correct Shisui." Druella stated happily.

"Sasha told me that your kind have an unyielding love for humans...is it true?" Shisui asked with a hint of uncertaintly in his voice.

"By my mother yes dear! My mother taught me that love is the most powerful medicine there is, for it is the only antidote to the poison known as hatred." Druella explained.

Shisui listened attentively to Druella's words. He felt a sense of renewed hope fill his being as she spoke that maybe, just maybe, this love can cure the Uchihas of their curse of hatred.

"Druella...there is something I need to tell you about my clan." Shisui exclaimed, his nervousness arising anew.

"Hmmm...what is it?" Druella asked, ready to listen to what the young Uchiha had to say.

"For centuries my clan had been blinded by a fierce hatred of unknown origin. This hatred had in turn caused them to shun anyone who was a non-Uchiha. Even after the founding of my home the Hidden Leaf Village my clan continued to act distant, and when the nine tails attacked our village everyone blamed us for it." Shisui explained.

"Nine tails? You mean like an Inari?" Sasha asked,

"Yes, only accept in our world this Nine Tails is nothing like the Inari of this world, my village's leader the Fourth Hokage managed to successfully seal the beast away, although unfortunately at the cost of his wife's life." Shisui said.

"Oh my...that's terrible." Druella said in a shocked tone.

"After the Nine Tails attack, the Uchiha clan was forcibly moved to a compound at the edge of the village, me included."

"And where were you staying before you and your clan was moved to the edge of the village?" Druella asked.

"In a house not too far from the Hyuga clan estate with my grandfather Kagami Uchiha." Shisui answered

"Unfortunately though, he passed away a year after the Nine tails attack, and I had lived by myself ever since." Shisui added.

"Oh...you poor thing. You deserve so much better than what life handed out to you." Druella muttered in a motherly tone as she instinctively pulled him into a hug.

"Miss Druella...I can't breathe." The young Uchiha spoke up in a muffled voice.

"Oh my...hehe...sorry about that dear." Druella apologised as she released Shisui from her hug.

"Now, to discuss the real purpose of the meeting. You are familiar with the Elf Queen Maylin yes?" Druella asked, gaining a nod from Shisui.

"Good. We shall be paying her a visit since she is an expert in this field of magic. Druella announced.

"Really? Are you saying that Maylin can help bring my clan here?" Shisui asked in a hopeful tone.

"Yes, although one must take into account that this is a very advanced level of magic only the Gods, my mother and my older sister the Queen of Hearts are capable of." Druella said.

"Oh..." Shisui muttered dejectly, no doubt dissapointed in Druella's answer.

Noticing Shisui's facial expression of uncertainty and worry, Druella placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Do not worry Shisui, I promise you on my mother that your clan will be brought here safe and sound." She declared confidently to the young Uchiha.

"Sasha. Thank you safely bringing Shisui here. You may head back to the Orphanage." Druella ordered.

"I shall. Good luck Lady Druella...and you too Shisui." Sasha said as she opened the trapdoor and made her way back to the orphanage.

Once Sasha had left the vicinity Druella began to chant in an unknown language, and in an instant she and Shisui were at the entrance of Maylin's palace. The soldiers guarding the entrance to Maylin's palace immediately opened the door upon seeing Shisui and Druella, offering words of praise to the duo.

"We'd like to see Queen Maylin please. It is an urgent matter." Druella politely requested.

"O-of course! She is in her chambers Lady Druella." The Elven guard said as he allowed the duoinside the palace.

The only sound that echoed through the Palace hallways were Shisui's footsteps, as Druella had taken to riding atop her Demonic Energy ball as a mode of transport.

"So Shisui, how are you feeling right now?" Druella asked Shisui, breaking the silence between the two.

"Excited and a bit anxious honestly." Shisui admitted.

"I can understand you being excited, but why are you anxious?" Druella asked concerned.

"I dunno, I guess it's because I'm just nervous that something bad will happen, like Maylin being unable to create a portal or worse...my clan having already carried out their coup attempt." Shisui replied.

Druella closed her eyes and chuckled softly.

"Shisui, did I not assure you that everything will go smoothly? And besides, if by some chance your clan had already carried out their coup and unfortunately blood had been shed, then we can bring all the corpses of the deceased back here and reanimate them with necromancy." Druella reassured the young Uchiha.

"I see..." Shisui muttered softly.

The duo continued walking through the corridor's of Maylin's palace, eventually reaching a large staircase. Once they had reached the top of the staircase, Druella gently knocked on the entrance to the chamber, which was opened by an excited Ghilanna, who embraced Shisui into a tight hug.

"Shisui you're back!" She exclaimed happily as she pecked his face with kisses.

"Ghilanna...it's only been and a few days...and plus..this kinda feels-"

"Warm, comfy, relaxing?" Ghilanna interjected, finishing Shisui's sentence for him.

"I was gonna say embarrassing, but that works too I guess." Shisui said, allowing the Elf girl to continue hugging him.

"Shisui dear, it's been a while, how are you?" Maylin greeted warmly.

"I've been good Maylin. I suppose you know why I'm here?" Shisui asked.

"Ah yes, I do. Lady Druella informed me the other night. Come." Maylin ordered as she made her way out of the room, accompanied by a flustered Shisui and an excited Ghilanna.

5 minutes later and the group had arrived at another room in the palace, unlie the oak doors of Maylin's chamber the doors to this room were a pearly white.

"I present to you...the Windows of the world!" Maylin declared proudly as she swung upon the doors to reveal an empty white room.

Well almost empty, save for a sky blue circle in the centre.

"Please step inside the circle Shisui." Maylin instructed.

Shisui did as he was told and made his way towards the centre.

"So, now what?" He asked curiously.

"Simple, just hold my hands and think hard where you were last in your world. By doing that I can trace where your Spirit Energy was last present in your world, thus enabling us to use that location to create the poral between my world and yours." Maylin explained.

"I see." Shisui said as he placed held Maylin's hands and began to concentrate hard on where he was last in his world. Maylin on the other hand began chanting in an unknown language that sounded similar to the one Druella was chanting in and what he saw around him amazed him.

Gone was the blank whiteness of the Windows of the world, which was replaced by a beautiful deep orange sunset. Said sunset was soon joined by a large cliff, waterfall, trees and grass.

For a moment he pondered if what he was not reality, but a genjutsu designed to mess with his mind.

Shisui also noticed that a white energy like substance surrounded him and Maylin, mimicking the appearance of a window. It was at this moment that Shisui could not wait any longer, it was now or never.

"ITACHI!" Shisui cried out as loud as his lungs allowed him to, which caused the various birds resting in the trees to fly away in fright.
