Hello and welcome to chapter 5 of my NCIS and Chicago Fire fanfic. Let's see what happens today!

Chicago Med:

Ellie walked into the reception with Kelly and Stella as they wanted to check up on Abby. They waited but not for all as Will Halstead walked into the reception and towards the trio.

"Will, how's Abby?" Ellie asked and Will smiled as he put his hands in his pockets.

"She's fine. We're actually getting ready to discharge her; she's just talking with Doctor Charles." Will told them as he walked them in. "We brought Abby back down here and due to how close you two are, April and Maggie took turns checking on her." Will explained as they walked towards one of the rooms. Will pulled back the curtain to see Abby sat on the bed, wearing a black knee sleeveless dress and black boots. She was talking with Maggie when the pair turned and looked at Will.

"Abby was just telling me about her friends from NCIS," Maggie told Will as he walked in, followed by Ellie, Kelly and Stella. "Looks like you have visitors." Maggie smiled at Abby as Ellie walked over.

"Nice to see you in one piece, Abs." Ellie smiled as she hugged Abby, who smiled and hugged back. "These are from Tony and Ziva." Ellie then stepped back and handed Abby a small bouquet of black roses.

"Wait? Tony and Ziva are in Chicago?" Abby asked and Ellie nodded. "Is little Tali with them?" Abby asked as Ellie sat next to her.

"Yeah. She's back at 51." Ellie answered as the pair stood up and looked at both Will and Maggie. "Thank you for looking after Abby." Ellie thanked and the pair smiled.

"Your welcome, Ellie." Maggie then hugged Ellie as she smiled. "Take care. Where will Abby be staying in the meantime?" Maggie then asked and Ellie smiled.

"Boden said that until the attacker is caught, Abby can stay at the Firehouse." Kelly explained which surprised Abby. "You're friends with Ellie, Abs. Which means you are our friend too." He explained which made Abby smile then hugged Ellie.

"I'll come by the Firehouse later, to check up on Abby." Will told them and the group nodded. "Take care, Miss Sciuto." Will smiled as he waved and walked off to see another patient.

"Come on then, Abs." Ellie smiled then they walked out of Med and over to Ellie's blue Dodge Caliber.

Firehouse 51:

A blue Dodge Caliber pulled up outside and the doors opened to reveal Ellie, Abby, Stella and Kelly. The four were walking towards the front doors when they saw Matt and Sylvie waiting for them.

"I see we have a guest," Matt smiled as the four walked over to him and Sylvie. "Nice to meet you, Abby. I'm Matt and this is Sylvie; we're friends of Ellie." Matt introduced himself as he shook Abby's hand then Sylvie shook Abby's hand.

"Ellie told me that I'm staying here until PD catches my attacker, thank you." Abby thanked then smiled as she hugged Matt and Sylvie.

"Ellie is part of 51's family, which makes you a member of the family." Sylvie told her as the group walked inside and towards the kitchen.

Boden's office:

Wallace was in his office catching up on paperwork while Tali was sat on the couch as she was still drawing. Wallace smiled as he looked at a photo on his desk of him, Donna and their son, Terrance.

"Chief?" Boden looked up at his door to see Ellie standing in the doorway. "Can I come in?" Ellie asked and Boden smiled as he took off his glasses.

"Of course, Bishop. Come and take a seat." Wallace offered. Ellie nodded as she walked in and took a seat opposite Boden. "What can I do for you?" Wallace asked as he placed his arms on his desk.

"I came and wanted to thank you for letting Abby stay here until her attacker is caught." Ellie thanked and Wallace smiled. "I also wanted to ask if you heard anything from PD about the case." Boden looked down then shook his head.

"Not yet, sorry." Wallace apologised then Ellie looked down. "Go down to PD, see if they've got anything." Boden suggested which made Ellie look up. "It's been a fairly quiet day. I'll call you the moment you're needed." Boden told her and Ellie smiled.

"Thank you, Chief." Ellie thanked as she got up with a smile. "Would it be okay if I ask Brett to tag along? We'll go in 61 in case a call comes in." Ellie explained and Boden nodded. Ellie smiled at Tali who smiled and chuckled back at her.

"Take it easy, Bishop." Boden told her and Ellie nodded. She then walked out of Boden's office and headed off to find Sylvie.

21st District:

Ambulance 61 pulled up outside the Police Station and out climbed Ellie and Sylvie. They made sure to have their radios on in case a call came in as they walked inside. They walked over to the desk to see Trudy Platt working through some paperwork.

"Hey Trudy." Ellie smiled as she and Sylvie waited by the desk. Trudy looked up at the two blondes then smiled.

"Hello you two. What brings you by?" Trudy asked as she put her paperwork to the side. "Let me guess; the case about your friend?" Platt asked and Ellie nodded. "Go on up." Trudy told them and the two blondes smiled.

"Thanks Trudy. You're a great friend." Ellie thanked as she and Sylvie headed upstairs, leaving Trudy with a smile.

Up in the Intelligence department, the two teams were discussing what they had found out which wasn't much as they hadn't found any good leads. The teams were later joined by Ellie and Sylvie.

"Ellie, Sylvie." Kim Burgess looked over then both teams looked at the two blonde women walking over to them. "How's Abby?" She asked and the pair nodded.

"She's alright. She's at 51," Ellie told them which made Tim smile. "Tim, you can come over and talk to her, if you're free." Ellie told her friend and McGee nodded.

"Burgess, you're with me." Tim called over and Kim nodded as they grabbed their coats and followed the two paramedics outside. Just as they left, Nick walked in with Adam Ruzek.

"You just missed your girl, Torres." Jay Halstead teased as he got back helping Jessica, who was going through the files. "Nick," Jay looked up to see Nick leading files on a laptop. "If you keep waiting to tell her the truth, you might end up missing your chance." Jay suggested which made Nick think about Ellie and his feelings for her.

Firehouse 51:

Ambulance 61 and a blue Dodge Charger pulled up outside the Firehouse. They were greeted by both Matt and Kelly who were sitting outside smoking, they got up then walked over to McGee and Burgess while Sylvie and Ellie walked inside.

"Burgess. McGee. You here to see Abby?" Kelly asked and they nodded. "She's inside with Stella and Ziva. Tony went to the airport; said something about getting Abby's father." Tim's eyes widened as he knew what that meant.

"Whoever hurt Abby better look out then!" Tim exclaimed which made the three confused. "Tony's gone to the airport to pick up Gibbs; he's basically Abby's father. And if Gibbs finds the attacker before we do, they won't be alive for long." McGee explained which surprised them.

"Sounds like someone we don't want to get on the wrong side of." Matt suggested and Kelly nodded. "We'll take you to Abby; Ellie's probably with her now." Matt and Kelly then escorted Tim and Kim to the break room.

Meanwhile at the Airport

Former NCIS Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo let out a sigh as he stood inside the airport next to the gate to await the arrival of his former boss and father figure to the entire team; Leroy Jethro Gibbs. He looked at his watch and looked up to see everyone getting off the plane.

He didn't have to wait long before he saw the familiar flop of grey hair as he smiled.

"Boss!" He yelled out as Gibbs turned his head and let out the signature smirk and made his way towards Tony.

"DiNozzo? What are you doing here?" He asked as Tony smiled.

"I'm here to pick you up. I'm assuming you heard about Abby." He asked in a serious tone, knowing what was coming next. In an instant the smirk was gone and was replaced by an anger filled Gibbs.

"Tell me everything you know, DiNozzo." Gibbs ordered as he wanting to get the man who hurt the woman he had always thought of as a daughter and make him suffer for what he did.

"Gladly!" Tony replied as they started walking and Tony started explaining everything from the beginning.

Back at Firehouse 51

Stella Kidd was sitting cross cross on her bed with a pillow in her lap with her hands on top, she watched as she played with her hands, looking in the distance as she was deep in thought. She had found something out that's gonna change the lives of everyone at the Firehouse, especially Kelly, the man whom she loves and can't wait to spend the rest of her life with.

How was she gonna tell everyone? Especially Kelly? How would everyone feel? She never dreamed that this would happen to her. But the only question she's asking herself is: When was she gonna tell him?

This is the end of chapter 5 and things will be getting far more interesting? Who is the attacker? What is the secret that Stella is hiding? And will Nick ever tell Ellie the truth?

Find out next time!
