"Some of us are here right now with three of the Aussies. They're secured. Need to find the others"
"How many more?"
"Be on the lookout for one more. Possibly with the human. The other one is secured with a separate group."
"As for the pups?"
"Caz, Jordan, Qianna, and Jeremy should either be somewhere out here...or with the humans."
Chiquita ended her telepathic conversations with the other group of shifters. Being an animal had its perks where she didn't have to be in harm's way but still, the leader of the Texas pack wished she could help the babies.
Perched and watching the scene from a high viewpoint, Chiquita and Grant watched as 4 out of 5 members of the Australian pack were escorted quietly away back into a safe area away from the houses. The group split into several other smaller groups of shifters securing the southern wilderness. Trekking carefully in their animal forms, there was another large house on the property that was secured and locked from the outside.
"One of the Aussies, Katerina, claimed a few human children resided in one of the houses. She locked and scared them in to prevent them from escaping."
"How many in there?"
"...hard to say. Will keep designated groups on surveillance."
"Do what you gotta do, but everyone, please self-preserve. No time to be predators...yet."
"Caz, Jordan, Qianna, and Jeremy. All inside the other house. Confirmed with all the other humans as well."
"And the remaining immigrant?"
"...Yes, she is there. We smell a lot of their blood as well as the humans. Not a pretty sight. Violent. Requesting we should bare our teeth now."
Chiquita hesitated and looked over to Grant. It was time now. There was no turning back. They had to make way now.
"Yes, circle the parameters of the house, you know the drill."
The leader of Texas as well as the enclave of the best protectors her pack had to offer shifted into large beasts of predators as they all started to dance in formation circles around the main house. Spies watched in the trees above as well as keeping tabs on the other house.
There was nowhere for the humans to run to. They all had the place surrounded as many peeked close into the windows of the house letting their presence be known.
A sight to see when frightened eyes looked back at them as well as the bloodied bodies of their kin in a state of panic.
"All prey for predators."
