"STOP! PLEASE DON'T! I BEG OF YOU MOTHER!"

Caz said screaming towards the front door. Hoyt loosened his grip on Caz as he stared in fear towards the many eyes that looked back at him through the windows. Terrified, he let Caz.

"Just what in the world..." Hoyt said.

Caz stumbled towards the front door. He didn't want anyone to die, not him, not his friends. He knew he would have to plead with the leader of Texas as well as the rest of the Council to have Mercy. Who's to say they'll listen though? Caz thought it would be worth a shot.

Opening the door now, the leader of the Texas pack stood and stared down at Caz who lay on the floor before her.

"Have mercy?" Chiquita began, shaking her head, "You've disappointed me Caz." Chiquita then moved out of the way which allowed other predators the walk into the house. The Hewitts, Slaughters, and Sawyers stood frozen in utter fear as beasts morphed into humans before their very eyes. It didn't take long before Qianna and Germs rushed over to their own kind. However, the business to go about what to do with the humans that saw them was another concern, as the shifters quickly subdued the family over having them all lay face down on the ground.

"Chiquita," Grant said taking her to the side, "There's an issue here..."

Confused, Chiquita listened in to what Grant had to say into her ear,

"Rothman. These are his "business affiliations," all of them are."

The woman's eyes bulged out of her head, "Are you certain?" She asked in a firm voice.

Grant nodded, "the woman over there with the claw marks on her back used to work under him. Then she ran off somewhere with Rothman's "work." But they've been all doing what Rothman needed them to be doing."

Sighing, Chiquita took a chair out of the kitchen and sat down in front of the murderous family before shouting her demands.

"I'm only going to say things one time," She said while crossing her arms over her bare chest, "I need those whose names are Darla, Vilmer, and W.E to slowly stand up. And don't do anything stupid!"

Qianna looked over to Caz and Jordan, just as confused as she was. How did their leader know of these people? Most importantly, why?

Carefully, all three names stood up while both hands were being held behind their backs as other shifters held onto them tight.

Vilmer & W.E had a feeling something wasn't right, how did she know their names? A beast woman they never met before. BUt Darla knew exactly who she was.

"I'm not with Rothman anymore." Darla declared in a ragged voice. All families looked on in shock and confusion about just what was going on.

"Ohhhh, honey!" Chiquita groaned out crossing her legs, "I wasn't gonna ask you that I already knew that. You got work and personal matters in the way of business, but! That is no excuse to not say anything!"

Vilmer had to say something, somehow this woman knew their business and dealings with Rothman, "H-hey look now, I thought Darla already cut ties with Rothman a long time ago I just dumped bodies where she told me-"

Suddenly, the man holding Vilmers wrists dug his hand into Vilmers open wound which shot pain through his entire body. As he screamed out Chiquita continued.

"I'm in control of this conversation boy, Mother is speaking now." She said calmly.

As Vilmer struggled to stand up, she continued, "Now whatever your lil gal over here has told you isn't the whole truth. And quite a bit of it is a lie. As for the rst of your family, what really makes you think none of them haven't been caught yet?"

Silence fell over the room as W.E spoke up, "W-wait a minute now. Please do explain Ma'am."

Resting her hand in cheek Chiquita knew Rothman wouldn't have done this to explain everything these families were a part of. But now since they fought and nearly killed her kin, Chiquita concluded that they were gonna know the whole insidious truth. And it would mean the families would fall under Chiquitas jurisdiction; something that almost never happens with humans and shifters.

"Let's just say," Chiquita started to explain, "Rothman and I are very good friends."
