Chapter 16: Team Phantom vs Shi

Danny and the others worked quick to get their plan in motion, while Shi was busy reveling in his power boost.

"Prepare to die!..."Shi yelled dramatically as he leapt at them.

In response, Danny used a table to act as a shield to protect himself.

"Not today, thank you!..." Danny went.

Shi growled and used the spell book to send some fire blasts.

"Fry!..."The Chinese Vampire yelled, clearly losing it.

"Sheesh, talk about being hot tempered..."Danny said as he avoided the fireballs.

Shi was about to snap. He tried to use another spell, but was hit with a piece of wood.

"Keep away from him!..."Star yelled as she readied for another.

Shi saw her and smiled, recalling his intentions towards her and finding her even more valuable. Mostly since he was still reeling from the brutal rejection from Meilin, and he still wanted something from this whole ordeal.

"Ah, my dear. Still as spirited as ever..."Shi said as he started to approach her.

"Get a life, you undead creep!..."Star yelled as she threw another piece of wood.

Thankfully, Danny and the others brought some weapons with them, including an extra Fenton saber and Star was no longer unarmed. The Chinese hopping vampire saw this and began making comments.

"I see that you have a weapon again..."Shi commented.

"And a much fairer chance in this fight!..."Star snapped, aiming at his face.

She charged at him and tried to strike at him, but Shi dodged. He looked more amused than anything as she kept trying to hit his ugly face.

"I look forward to ruling this land with you..."Shi said, smirking.

"I look forward to never seeing you again!..."Star yelled at him as she kept trying to hit him.

Shi decided that he had enough and struck her, making her hit the ground.

"If that's how you treat women, it's no wonder Meilin wasn't into you!..."Star said upon hitting the ground.

The Chinese hopping vampire got angry at that remark, but he still refused to back down. He got closer to her, smirking darkly as he approached her.

"Come to me, my bride..."Shi said as he tried to reach for Star.

"So, not happening! Even if I was at legal age, I'd NEVER marry you!..."Star yelled as she used the saber to land a hit and make him step back.

"Don't be so sure!..."The vampire yelled, reaching for her still.

While Shi was distracted, the blonde girl tried to run as far away from him as possible. Shi went around the shield to get her, only for a rock to hit his face.

"The lady said no!..."Danny said, kicking him repeatedly as Star got enough distance.

Shi growled as envy and anger fueled him.

"And I say... you die!..."He went, throwing the table away.

Danny dodged him and blow a raspberry, angering and irritating the crazed vampire even more.

"YOU INSOLENT PEST! No wonder I couldn't stand you! YOU ARE JUST LIKE MY FOOLISH BROTHER! GETTING IN THE WAY OF MY QUEST FOR LOVE!..."Shi yelled.

"Quest for love? Are you for real?! I think you mean stalking, right?..."Danny said, irking the enemy even more.

"Those will be your last words before I drain you and leave you a withered body!..."Shi shouted as he readied his claws.

"I'm thinking... no!..."The ghost boy quipped as he managed to dodge him.

Thinking fast, Danny threw whatever was in his pockets, for anything to throw at the vampire, since he was not a ghost, it was more effective than normally running away.

"Eat bus change, hoppy!…"Danny yelled, knowing what will happen now.

The others paused as they saw Shi stopping, counting the spare change that fell from his pocket.

"Uh...what are you doing?…"Tucker asked.

"Counting. What does it look like?!…"Shi retorted as he picked up the coins.

Everyone blinked as they watched the vampire, the same being who was the source of everyone's trouble right now, pausing his vengeance to count coins.

Danny, however, knew what this was and was pleased.

"Glad that worked..."He said.

"How did you know that would work?..."Star asked.

"I did some research and it seems that jiangshi's and other vampires are Super OCD. They can't resist counting things..."Danny said, smiling in relief.

"He's so awesome!~..."Misty thought in a dreamy way, paused by her affections.

Star rolled her eyes, reminded how she needs to talk with the girl afterwards.

"But why would an ancient vampire stop to count coins? It seems stupid…"Tucker remarked, waking over to watch.

"Precious metals are more valuable than you humans let on!…"Shi said, putting the coins in his pocket.

He growled at the ghost boy, who tapped Tucker's shoulder as the boy dropped more loose change. The coins landed near his feet. Shi stopped his rampage of death and went to counting the coins before picking them up.

"Now then…I SHALL—..."

For a third time, coins were dropped. This time, Shi could hear snickering from the boys, noticing how Tucker had his PDA out, biting his lips to suppress his laughter.

"And just what do you think you're doing?…"Shi groaned, dreading the answer, he knew it was going to enrage him more, but figured he'd ask since he would kill the boy regardless of what answer he'd give.

"Recording you counting coins…"Tucker then burst out laughing, unable to hide his emotions.

Soon Danny joined in, filling the room with the guffaw of the teenage boys. This enraged the vampire, who swatted the ghost boy away, silencing his humiliation as he grabbed Tucker by the collar.

"You will rue the day you interfered with who was once Jiang Hiyashi!..." Shi shouted, ready to drain him.

Or, he would have, had the dark haired boy not kicked his hand away. The teenagers were about to step in, they all blinked in confusion before one of them noticed something.

"Wait... his real name is Jiang Hiyashi... and he's-..."Danny was cut off when the jiangshi groaned in irritation.

"A jiangshi... yes... the blonde girl has already pointed out the irony, okay?!..." Shi went, annoyed.

"I'm sorry, it's just... really on the nose..." Danny went, and the others nodded.

"You're one to talk! Actually... you won't be talking for long!..."Shi yelled.

The jiangshi yelled before blasting Danny out the window.

"DANNY!..." Misty cried out in worry.

Little did she know, that's what Danny needed. He quickly morphed and flew in to save the day.

"Prepare to get buried!..." Danny shouted as he flew inside.

"This again? You're not as clever as I thought..." Shi stated.

Danny kicked Shi in the face to get him to let go of Tucker. Misty was surprised when she saw him.

"Where did he come from? And where's the other Danny?..."Misty asked, worried about her crush.

"Uh... I... rescued him!..." Danny went.

As Misty seemed to buy it, Shi scoffed loudly. However, the dark haired girl seemed confused by something else.

"But...where..."Misty tried, but the crazed Chinese vampire laughed.

"Is that what you did? Are you not willing to tel-..."Before Shi could blur out any secrets, a strange sound interrupted him.

"Cockadoodledoo!..."Was heard and echoed through the abandoned restaurant.

Shi froze in fear as he heard a rooster call. The vampire glared to the shadows, looking around for the sun. But no light came.

"No, it can't be!..."He said, feeling unnerved.

"Cockadoodledoo!..."Was heard again.

Puzzled, the jiangshi looked around, only to have Danny greet him with a fist.

"Time to rise and shine, Mr. Cranky!…"Danny quipped as he uppercut the vampire into the air.

"The only thing that is on the rise is my temper! Shi shouted before Danny punched him again. The jiangshi tried to sooth his pained chin as he was still confused about the rooster's call.

"Rise? Like this?..." Danny said as Shi hit the ceiling and bounced on the floor.

"You are about to lose your arms!..."Shi yelled, but the sounds of more rooster calls were heard.

"Cockadoodledoo!..."

"No!..."Shi yelled, looking around as if he was expecting trouble.

This confused those who didn't already know about his other weakness and just stared. Ironically, one of them was more familiar with the jiangshi herself and yet she was also confused.

"Uh, what's going on?..."Misty asked, looking lost.

"Jiangshi's freak out whenever roosters crow..."Sam said, shrugging.

"Wait...seriously?!..."Misty asked, surprised.

"Seriously. Even I think it's weird too..."Sam said as the roosters calls kept repeating and the jiangshi seemed to be getting angrier with each passing second.

"Cockadoodledoo!..."

"Where is it coming from?!..."Shi yelled, losing his fear.

Danny flew in and punched him. He grinned, enjoying this.

"I know where that came from!..."He quipped, angering his foe more.

"Die, freak!..."Shi tried but was distracted.

"Cockadoodledoo!..."

Shi was distracted again by the sound of a rooster, causing him to pause once more, allowing Danny to land another hit. Slamming into the wall, Shi growled with glowing eyes.

"Where is that rooster!?…"He yelled, hating this but he was also still confused.

No feathers were seen, but the sound of a boy snickering was the only detail out of place.

"This is totally hilarious..."Tucker whispered to himself as he kept playing the recording of Rooster calls on his PDA.

That's when he noticed Shi was looking in his direction.

"Wait..." Shi went, going towards the direction of the sound.

"Oh, no you don't!..." Danny went as he flew in with his fist ready.

Shi had dodged Danny, about to attack, when the rooster call came again. But this time Shi jetted to the source, finding a snickering Tucker hiding behind a chair with his PDA held out.

Tucker froze as he saw Shi glaring at him.

"Uh...Hi..."The tech geek said nervously while the hopping vampire glared at him.

"I don't know how, but I just know you're the rooster. So I think I'll be taking your qi first!…"Shi yelled, angry that they made a fool of him.

"But I need my qi!…"Tucker screamed as he ran for his life.

Like jungle cat, Shi decided to play with the boy before annihilating him, dodging an attack from Danny before throwing the latter further away. Tucker panted as the vampire gained on him, an easy feat since the boy was not athletically fit with barely any stamina right now.

"Now... I'll make you so weak you won't move for hours! Or ever again!..."Shi yelled, wanting payback.

"Would... treating you to an actual Chinese restaurant spare me?..."Tucker tried, smiling nervously.

"Of course not! Besides, real Chinese food tastes so much better!..."Shi shouted.

"True..."Tucker admitted before squirming.

"Hold still, I'm not gonna kill you... yet!..." Shi yelled as he tried to reach him.

He was kneed in the face before he did anything, making him let go of Tucker.

"Back off, Dead Breath!..."Danny yelled as he kicked the Chinese vampire again

As Shi was recovering, Misty ran up to the ghost boy and finally asked him the question that had been on her mind as he asked everyone.

"Everyone okay?..." Danny asked.

"We're fine..."Star said, but her rival noticed the absence of the guy she liked.

"Wait, where'd the other Danny go?..." Misty asked, worried about him.

"Uh... to... call his parents..." Danny Phantom lied. "Uh, they are ghost hunters and are probably coming this way soon..."He added.

"Oh, good. I'm just glad he's okay..."Misty said, looking relieved.

However, The moment was cut off when a snarling Shi walked towards them. He huffed as he stomped towards them.

"I hope that they hustle, because he looks hungry..."She said, worried for their lives.

Shi growled like a dog at them. He was hungry for life energy, and for revenge against these children.

"Fools! I will not fall! You have no hope against the likes of me!..."Shi yelled as he destroyed a nearby chair with his claws.

The teenagers all stepped back, knowing that this looks bad for them. However, one of them refused to cower and turned to their best hope for salvation.

"What now, Danny... Phantom? You might not be able to use your thermos, since he's not a ghost..." Star pointed out, acting like she doesn't know him personally in front of Misty.

"No... but he's at least hurt enough by your weapon, so we can at least knock him out. I just don't know what to do after..."Danny said, puzzled what to do.

"If only I could get the spell book away from him, then maybe I can find a way to change him back to stone or something..."Misty said, looking upset.

Star frowned at her, while Danny looked confused.

"Wait...How do you know he was trapped in stone in the first place?..." Danny asked, looking lost.

"Yes, Misty... explain why you know that?..."Star asked with some edge in her voice, arms crossed.

Misty gulped. All eyes were on her and she realized she was in trouble.

"I...uh..."Misty stammered, trying to find an answer.

Shi, who still wanted all but Star dead, heard this and decided to stop his rampage for a moment to twist the knife, and savor this moment of his former master's distress.

"Don't be shy, why don't you tell your "friends" here how YOU were the one whom freed me and wanted me to separate a young couple, just so you could get a boyfriend..."Shi said, taking a break from his rampage to watch the one who enslaved him squirm.

All eyes were on her, some in shock and accusation as the dark haired girl just wanted to disappear right now.

"I...uh...okay...the truth is...I kinda...sorta...got jealou-..."She was the cut off by a certain jiangshi, whom was grinning like the an evil grinch.

"Envious..." Shi corrected, smirking as she watched her humiliation.

Misty glared at him but continued, knowing that he was right. There was no way out of the hole she dug herself into. She was only thankful that Shi stopped attacking right now, even if it was just to watch her whole world fall apart.

"Fine! I got envious of Star for having a cute and nice boyfriend and, when I found out I can use magic, I decided to try and use it. I ended up freeing this creep because I thought he could help me scare Star out of town, not steal her to put his not girlfriend's soul into her! I swear that I didn't know that this would happen!..."Misty said, breaking apart.

Danny was silent for a moment, as if having trouble processing this. After a few seconds, he finally reacted.

"You what?!..."The ghost boy asked, looking shocked and maybe even outraged too.

But his admirer tried to defend herself. Granted, she didn't know yet that he's the same guy that she's been after, but she just kept explaining herself and her role in this entire mess.

"But I want to fix this! I have to be the one to fix this, since it's my fault!..." Misty went, eyes tearing up.

Danny glared at her, but Sam managed to get closer, looking just as ticked and untrusting as anyone.

"What did you say?..." Sam asks, looking ready to punch someone.

Before Misty could say anything, Shi cleared his throat and motioned everyone's attention back to him.

"Well, that was amusing but I have dinner to make and a wedding to plan..."Shi said as he motioned to Star.

"Not a chance, you creepy freak!..."Star yelled as they all ran.

Sam fired her wrist ray and managed to land a hit on Shi, sending him several yards away.

"I don't know how much longer we can keep this up..."Sam said.

"We gotta do something. We're sitting ducks here if we don't..."Danny said.

"I need to get that spell book from him..."Misty said, trying to get their attention.

The members of Team Phantom, particularly Danny, who was upset to learn this was her fault, simply sent a frown to the raven haired girl.

"You expect us to trust our lives to you?!..."Danny said, still upset that she released Shi and caused this mess to start with.

Misty looked guilty and nodded. It didn't discourage her from wanting to fix her mistakes.

"I know that I really messed up..."She said.

"Understatement of the decade..."Star muttered under her breath.

Misty sent her a glare, before continuing with her desperate plea.

"But I think I can stop him. I just need to get the spell book away from him. Please, I can do this. Please, let me help you guys fix my mistake..."She pleaded.

"What do you guys think?..."Danny asked, looking around.

"I'm open to anything if it means getting rid of Mr. Nasty..."Tucker said, just wanting that monster gone now.

"I'm still angry that she caused this, but if she can get rid of him, I'm willing to keep an open mind..."Jazz said.

Star seemed unsure, but she knew that Misty was sorry for what she did and seemed earnest in wanting to fix this mess.

"I'll go along with whatever you think is best..."She said, but her beau was still wary.

"Okay. I just don't know if I can trust her... but she's probably the only one who can read that thing..."Danny said, seeing as he can't.

"I can read Chinese, ya know..." Sam went, not trusting Misty at all.

"But you're not a descendant of the Yang clan. It'd be as useless to you as a paperweight..." Misty stated. "Please, I'm the only one who can do magic here and the only one who has any experience with that book, even if it's just a little. It has to be me. I know that I can fix this, but you all have to let me try!..."She insisted.

"Then... I guess we need you..." Danny said. "But we are gonna have a serious talk once this whole mess is over..."He said.

Shi then fired more blasts at them and Misty ducked in time.

"Let's hope that we can live long enough to HAVE that long talk!..."Misty yelled as they took cover.

Shi was getting impatient. He currently flipping through Misty's spell book's pages to find a much more destructive spell. One to finally be rid of everyone.

''You fools may as well give up! I will not be stopped! I'm claiming a bride no matter what!..." Shi shouted, before he fired a blast from his hand.

Danny managed to create a shield and protect him and the others from these attacks. He then decided to do some banter.

"Why not get a lonely guy cat? I know a place!..."Danny yelled.

"Do not mock me! I seek female companionship, not pets! Besides, cats are a pest in the kitchen... only worth chopping!..."Shi yelled, having never cared for them, even when he was alive.

"Okay, I have another reason to hate this guy..."Sam said, her animal lover side kicking him.

"Sam, we got bigger issues right now..."Tucker reminded as Shi was now firing at them again.

"Point taken..."Sam admitted as they hid.

As Shi's rampage continued his attack, the teenagers tried to run away, avoid his blasts and avoid becoming his next meal. All save for Star, who arguably has a worse fate in store for her if this monster gets his way.

"This is a nightmare. I just wish that I knew how to get rid of him for good!..."Misty thought, trying to think fast.

Just then, Misty's phone began to ring and she checked quickly. It was her grandmother, who was calling. Despite the situation at hand, Misty answered the phone.

"Hello?..."She said upon answering.

"Misty, good..."Lao Lao said on her end of the phone.

"Uh, Lao Lao? Now's not the-..."Before Misty could make up an excuse, her grandmother began talking fast.

"Where's that statue of the jiangshi who is supposedly your great-great-great-great yet not so great uncle?..." Lao Lao asked over the phone.

"My... uncle?..."Misty asked, confused as she never knew this.

"Yes, your uncle...or your multiple great-uncle since it's been such a long time. His name was Jiang Hiyashi, or Shi for short..."Lao Lao revealed, a name she only now heard.

Misty's eyebrows raised in surprise. It made sense. Shi was around her more than he was with Star, and yet not once did he make any actions to suggest interest. She knew now why.

"So that's why he didn't want me as his new girlfriend, we're related..."She thought, thinking there might be a way to use this.

"Uh, Lao Lao...can you please tell me that story...uh, how did that go?..."Misty asked as she saw Danny Phantom fight off Shi.

"Why?..."The old woman asked.

"Just answer! Uh, pretty please..."Misty said, sounding desperate as Danny did little damage at the moment.

"Well, according to what my grandmother said...during the Qing dynasty, our ancestors were supposedly magic users who for generations served some lord. Your ancestor, Aiguo, was a master sorcerer who proudly served the land and was trained from a young age to learn magic and he was also Shi's older half brother and the heir at that era. He and his brother were both in love with Meilin. However, Shi was ambitious. A talented chef, but he never said a word to her regarding love, only mistaking her friendship as a sign of returning it. He never truly knew her, so when he confessed, it was far too late and he tried to kidnap her. As for what happened to him, nobody knows. Some think he turned himself into a jiangshi during an evil ritual... but I never believed that. I just know that statue was made to remind us of what happens when envy takes over someone in the family..."Lao Lao revealed, speaking only the parts they heard.

Misty knew better due to what Meilin's spirit revealed and how he made himself a monster.

Still, that wasn't enough.

"Quick, Lao Lao! How do you defeat a jiangshi?! I mean... assuming there is one..."She said quickly, seeing as Shi was definitely getting hurt but wasn't going down.

"Well... there's many things. Hold your breath to avoid being sensed by one, blood of a black dog, using an axe... although, I believe the most powerful would be affected by talismans. One in particular could freeze them in place, for example. If what my grandmother said was true, a talisman could make them turn to stone for example or even wood..."She revealed.

"Stone again? Or would?..."Misty thought. "Then he couldn't tell anyone outside of who I need to hear what I did...and I can finally be rid of him!... "She thought.

"Really?..."She asked her grandmother, who did her best to recall.

"Yes, from what I heard from my own grandmother...but she was rather eccentric, so I wouldn't take the story seriously, dear. But if you really wanna know, here's what I recall..."Lao Lao said, giving instructions.

"I just need something to take down notes..." Misty said as she found one thing.

Misty took Tucker's PDA, since he was close by and grabbed a piece of paper and something to write with on the PDA's surface, much to his irritation.

"Hey!..." He went but was ignored.

"Let's hope this works..." Misty thought.

She wrote down the instructions as fast as she could. She then gave her grandmother a quick "thanks" and then hung up before the old woman could ask her anything else. Misty then turned to the ghost boy and waved to him. He saw that kept the crazy jiangshi, while everyone else was providing support from a safe distance.

She got everything she needed and had to get it all set.

"I know how to stop him now but I need someone to distract Shi long enough to get everything ready..."Misty said.

"On it..."Danny said, ready to get rid of him.

"How long do you think that you can keep him busy?..."Misty asked, worried.

"As long as we need. Just hurry and get the spell or potion or whatever done!..."Danny said as he flew up and fired away.

"Help me get this stuff ready! It's too much for one person..." Misty said.

"Everyone, help her while I take care of this!..." Danny stated.

"Got it..."Star nodded as they huddled around Misty for aid.

Danny tried to kick but Shi bobbed away.

"You're not going anywhere!..."The villain shouted.

However, Danny sent several ice rays at him and froze his feet in place.

"That's what you think!..."Danny said as he split into four copies.

Shi looked outraged.

"You can multiply too?! As if one of you wasn't annoying enough!..."He yelled.

"Let's prove you wrong!..."All four Danny said as they fired at once at him.

The next 10 minutes had been spent of him, exhausting himself, while the others prepared everything on their end.

"Hurry up, I don't think he can do this any longer!..."Star said, worried about her man.

"Hey, I have no control over delivery time and even they had no idea if they could get here on time..."Sam said, on edge.

"Guys, I hear something..."Misty said, recognizing a scooter.

Tracey, Sam's usual delivery driver, handed them what they asked for before leaving. Misty then grabbed the package and opened it quickly.

"Okay, now what? Is that it?..." Tucker asked, anxious.

"Yeah, it is. I even got a few ingredients in my bag in case..." She said, as Phantom suddenly crazed near them.

"Ow..."He let out, since Shi proved to be a lot tougher to get rid up thanks to that spell-book.

"Danny..."His friends and girlfriend all yell in worried.

Before he could get up, Shi tried to fire at him again. Misty thought fast and threw the expired vinegar, not bothering to open the bottle as she hoped for the best.

"Take this, jerk!..."She yelled as she threw it.

The vessel was smashed upon hitting Shi, releasing the liquid onto his face as some glass shards followed. This did the trick as the vampire screamed in pain, rubbing the liquid off with his hands.

"Where do you humans find a list of a jiangshi's weaknesses anyway!?…"Shi yelled.

"It's called the internet, genius. You can find everything there…"Misty said, bringing out a parchment. "Including where to find a talisman seal in chicken's blood, not that I even want to know where a delivery service even knows where to buy that!…"She said, shuddering.

"Why are you complaining?! I'm the one who had to make that order and explain why I bought things I never would..."Sam yelled, hating that meats and other animal parts were bought under her name.

"Guys, not now! We still got a problem here!..."Jazz said, reminding them that they are still in trouble.

"Impatient here!..."Shi yelled as he continued to fight Danny.

He growled, ready to snap into a berserker rage. That is, until a blast from Danny knocked him into a wall, angering him further. Misty took the opportunity to run over with the talisman, but she was grabbed by Danny as the vampire threw some of the rubble at her.

"If you think that I'll let you put that on me! You—..."Another blast came and cut him off.

This one was a direct hit of ectoplasmic ice, freezing the vampire in place.

"That's why I'm here!…"Danny said, grabbing the talisman.

"Not enough to stop me!..."Shi shouted before he backhanded Misty before she tried to place the talisman on him.

"AHH!..."Misty screamed as she flew backwards but Danny managed to get her out of harms way and carry her.

"I got you!..." Danny said.

"Wow... I just wish the other Danny said that... not likely now..." Misty bemoaned.

Danny wanted to say something, but chose not to. Putting down Misty, the ghost boy flew over, blasting away with ice beams to immobilize Shi. But his foe was faster, fully aware of the situation.

"Don't think that you can stop the inevitable!…"Shi yelled.

The vampire went under the ghost boy, grabbing him by the suit before throwing around like a lasso. After a few seconds, the hero was thrown to Shi's feet, receiving a kick to the side after the floor's recoil.

Danny winced in pain as he got up. The villain was starting to feel stronger, or he was getting exhausted.

"If you really want a girlfriend, there's other ways, like online dating? There's a whole dimension of ghosts and monsters! I know a good... or bad... rockstar you could date..."Danny tried.

"As you westerners say, as if! I waited ages to be with Meilin...and I will have someone with her spirit as a consolation prize!..."He yelled as he fired at Danny, hitting him and sending him a few feet away.

The villain then turned to Star, still feeling as entitled as ever.

"You will have to do...and I am sure I can find a spell to change your appearance to hers. I can even make you a different color like pink or white. My Meilin will return to me one way or another!..."Shi said, looking more deranged by the minute.

"Wow, I knew you were nuts, but now you're just messed up..."Star said as she felt no fear, just disgust and disappointment. "It's actually kinda sad that you can't see the truth, even when it's being told you right to your face. Geez, your stupidity really knows no bounds..."She said, as she knew that Danny and Misty need an opening.

So, she kept talking to the villain, as he got more agitated by the minute.

"What are you blabbering on about?!..."Shi yelled, enraged even further.

"You are so desperate, power hungry and uncaring that you wanted to marry Meilin just to lord her over your brother, and when that failed, you turned yourself into a monster and destroyed everything you could've had just because you didn't get what you wanted! Man, You truly are pathetic..."Star said, seeing only an empty shell in place of a vampire.

"Don't insult me, you naive child! I loved her for centuries and was willing to take over our entire village for her! I only wanted her to love me. I never wanted to own her, I just wanted to be the only one she loves and not my treacherous brother!..."Shi yelled.

"That's not love, that's selfishness. You clearly can't even tell the differences between those two. She was never yours to start with and you refuse to see that. You're so blind to what people want, you never see what you actually had!..."Star argued, wanting nothing more than to punch the vampire with each word.

"Don't you dare!..."Shi yelled. "Since when does a teenager know better!?..."He yelled, refusing to accept this.

"The same teenager you're doing the same thing to..."Star pointed out, agitating him even more.

"NONE OF THAT MATTERS ANYMORE! I HAVE THE SPELL BOOK AND I WILL BE RULER OF THIS LAND! AND YOU WILL RULE WITH ME AND LEARN TO LIKE IT!..."Shi yelled, getting angrier.

"Wow, talking to you is like talking to a wall that will never break. No wonder Meilin preferred your brother..."Star said, getting under his skin.

"Once I destroy your boyfriend and turn you to a jiangshi, you will learn to respect me for the rest of time! I will make sure of it!..."Shi yelled, snarling.

"As if! I already have an idea on how I want my wedding to go and you are NOT gonna be a part of it! Neither is me being a soul eating zombie, even if I would know kung-fu!..."Star yelled, her continued rejection not budging.

Shi growled, reaching his limits. But his focus was diverted as he felt his stomach collide with Danny's fist.

"You need to learn more that no means no! That's how modern day dating works…"Danny quipped.

Shi scowled more, until he got an idea. He used his power and managed to grab Danny's hand before the talisman charm could touch him.

"You know, that talisman can do more than seal me…"Shi had a wicked smile on his face.

"Does it look like I care?…"Danny snarked, pushing the charm closer to the latter's face.

But Shi stepped to the side, making the boy lean forward as he wanted to take the parchment from the ghostly hero, placing it on him instead. Misty gasped, turning over to help, only to trip onto Tucker in the process. Danny growled, but found the talisman placed on his chest.

"Was that supposed to do anything?…"Danny quipped. He glowed his hands, but saw Shi standing there with a smirk.

"That talisman is to seal spirits and other supernatural beings. I wonder what it'll do to you…"Shi said.

A moment later, Danny felt his strength leave him as his white rings appeared, turning him human. Since Misty had tripped and was facing the other way, she didn't see him change but that didn't change the predicament that he is in.

"Not good..."He said, realizing he is at a disadvantaged here.

"And that's just the beginning..."Shi said, towering over the human boy.

"Even worse..."Danny yelled as he ran away, hating that the talisman basically "un-ghost" him.

Shi gave the boy a few seconds, relishing the chase. The book was far from his mind, preoccupied with his intent to hunt and destroy the ghost boy.

Misty got up to notice that Danny Fenton was around but not Danny Phantom.

"Where did the ghost boy go?..."She asked out loud.

"Uh...Shi cast a spell on him and sent him away!..."Star lied quickly.

"I see that the other Danny is back..."Misty said, but saw that he was in trouble.

"Oh no!…"Misty said, looking around.

And that's when the spell book laid unprotected in her vision. With a Shi distracted, the girl made a b-line towards the book. Misty soon grabbed the spell book and quickly flipped the pages until she found what she was looking for.

"I got it, the spell to petrify a jiangshi..."Misty cheered, reading the steps and necessities.

Shi growled, leaping over to stop her, but Danny tried to block him by throwing another bottle of vinegar, and managing to land a perfect hit.

"GAH! Not again!..."Shi yelled.

"Yes, again..."Danny said, smirking as the villain was kept at bay, giving the teen sorceress the chance that she needed.

The jiangshi watched in horror as Misty readied the spell, looking at him with confidence.

"Who's the envious one now?!..."Misty yelled as she quickly cast a spell.

Shi found his body frozen, unmoving and unresponsive.

"Wow, what did you do?..."Danny asked, surprised as they watched.

"There is a spell here that can freeze a person in time, but only for a little while. I don't have enough power to do this, so I think I can only keep this up for a minute..."Misty said.

"Which is 30 seconds more than I need..."Danny said as he proceeded to punch and kick Shi's unmoving body.

Since he didn't have access to his powers now, he wanted a chance for payback.

"Uh...Danny, may I?..."Star asked, since they still had a few seconds left and she wanted to vent.

"Oh, where are my manners? Ladies first..."Danny said as he stepped aside.

"Thank you..."Star said, smiling sweetly at him, before frowning when she turned to the frozen form of Shi.

"This is for trying to kiss me!..."Star yelled as she punched him square in the face multiple times, leaving a black eye and even a tooth got knocked out.

Misty saw this and blinked.

"Wow...she's stronger than she looks..."She admitted.

"You have no idea..."Danny said, smiling as Star continued to punch and kick Shi until the spell was almost done.

She then grabbed the talisman from Danny and placed it on the monster, however, it only weakened him since it had already used some effect to block Danny's powers for the time being.

Anyway, Misty's time stopping spell soon ended and Shi was now on the ground, groaning in pain as he now had injuries that he didn't even know how he obtained. This made him wince.

"Ow...why do I feel like...an ox sat on me?..."He asked, now weaker and without power since he no longer had the spell book.

"It wasn't an ox..."Danny said, smirking as gestured to Star.

"I needed that..."Star said, feeling cathartic for her day.

Shi, who was now beaten, powerless and on the ground without defense, was desperate as the sorceress and her allies all surrounded him and readied to end this.

"It's over!..."Misty said, happy to be back in power again.

"Use the spell to get rid of him, hurry!..."Danny told Misty, who nodded and opened the book and went to the spell that she needed to stop him.

Shi, however, was desperate and tried to save himself. Even if it meant working for his multiple times great niece again.

"Sorce-Misty! Please, stop him! I'll help you win your beloved's heart for real this time! I swear it! I'll even leave your rival alone!..."The begged.

Misty, hearing that, stopped. She thought about it. Everyone gasped as they saw the girl pause, feeling the world against them. Shi knew that he got her attention and kept trying to get her on his side again.

"Think about it! You can finally have everything you ever wanted! You can be queen of this land! Have all the wealth and power that one can ever imagine! You and Danny could rule together, and pass it along to your descendants! You could have the whole nation...no! The world in the palm of your hand!..."Shi tried, desperate to not be a statue again. "And I will serve you just as you wanted! Just tell me what you want and I'll make it happen! I swear!..."He pleaded, begging.

Misty heard this and recalled what she wanted, and everything that's happened up to this point. However, seeing the pleading look on Star made her chose a different option. As well as the pleading and even disapproving look from Danny.

The dark haired girl paused, she wanted to be with him...and she wanted him to be happy and to love her. But she didn't want it this way.

"I want Danny to like me...but not like this..."She said, holding out her hand with the charm materials.

"You'll never be happy! Think about how easy your life will be once you master sorcery. You'll finally know true happiness..."Shi tried, but the girl shook her head.

"I don't believe you..."She declared, before she tossed some dust on Shi.

He tried to elude it, but it was too late. It hit him and he instantly knew and dreaded what was about to happen to him. He coughed as he desperately tried to plead with the teenage sorceress for his freedom.

"No! You can't do this! I'll even tell you his secret if it'll help convince you! He's-..." Shi tried to speak, but found no words left his mouth.

"I just took away your ability to talk. It'll only last 100 years unless I feel like ending it sooner... which I don't! Now you can't cast a spell or trick me ever again!..."She said.

With that, Misty nodded, allowing Danny to aim his thermos at the now speechless monster. However, since he wasn't a ghost, he didn't get sucked inside.

"Huh? I guess this really doesn't work on non-ghost threats. I really should talk to Dad about this..."Danny muttered.

"Well, I have another idea then..."Misty said as her eyes and hands glowed as she began to chant a new spell in Chinese. Her not-so great uncle's eyes widened in horror as he couldn't escape this.

"NO! NO!..."The mute Shi thought.

He tried to protest, but the words choked his throat as he scrambled to stop the spell. As a last act of desperation, he fired the last bit of energy that he had at Misty, hoping to be rid of the sorceress.

"AH!..."Misty screamed as she hit the wall.

"Misty!..."The others yelled in shock.

Thankfully, it was too late for Shi as the spell was already cast, already draining him of everything that made his powerful to begin with. His powers as the vampire found his body starting to go limp.

He found himself changing to a light brown color. He found himself unable to move his hands as his vision went out. With a pained yet silent look of horror, he was turned to wood. The members of Team Phantom were stunned and even horrified as they watched that the monster that had caused them so much trouble, was now turned to wood and unmoving.

"Wow...what did she do?..."Tucker asked, shocked.

"I think she turned him into the world's ugliest decoration..."Danny said, as both he and Star looked relieved.

After all this trouble and mayhem, Shi was no longer a threat to anyone.

Thank goodness!

1) Not telling. I guess we will have to wait and see :)

2) She doesn't know his secret yet due to coincidences or Danny changes when she's not looking.

3) I haven't decided yet.

4) With the spell book, I'd say he's a 10. Without it, he's much less of a threat.

5) Yes.

6) I see.

Leonardo: How is this?

CZS4: Thanks :)

Luiz4200: Shi is much worse since Poindexter eventually learned to accept that his crush was never his to begin with. Shi doesn't care.

Hmilles02: Thank you :)

Here are my responses to your questions:

1) She is average physically, as for magically, she is still pretty new to magic but is a natural for it...she just lacks experience and patience.

2) Star loves Danny's kindness and devotion to her, Danny loves Star's good heart and her skills as a fighter.

3) Not sure.
