AN bleuxe: To think I started this back in 2018 based off a dream I had. It kinda of sound like a joke, Hinata and Obito walk in a bar. And this is how I end it. I like to thank everyone who jus read, bookmarked, faved and commented. Especially Mikasaplzmarryme for translating in Spanish.
This is the the True ending which means I'm making alternate ending that will have a story of it own. Thank BlackMarshmello185 for that. Just don't expect it anytime soon, but I will be fixing and editing this story. Thank you and for the final time for Liars Ever After. Enjoy!
"I like to thank you all for invited me to your Kage Summit. It is the first time ever known in history that the Amekage was invited so thank you," Konan bowed graceful before taking her seat among her peers.
"Yes well knowing who the last two Amekage were in the past, it is not at all that surprising that they weren't invite and your only here via request by Naruto Uzumaki!" Onoki clarifying for her.
"Regardless the reason all of you could have said no and none of this would never be happening," she let the clear dig at Nagato's leadership go. In her opinion her beloved friend leadership was not comparable to that bastard Hanzō.
"Another thing though... Why would you come here and wearing that damn Akatsuki cloak here of all places!" if none of the Kages were going say it, the fourth Raikage was most definitely going to say it.
"Especially in my presence," Gaara said because if anyone should be offended it should be him.
"My apologies for how Akatsuki was introduced to the world and the destruction that past members had caused," Konan said when regarding the Kazekage. "That was not how the organization was meant to be,"
"Hmm I'm sure," Tsuchikage scoffed looking not too sure of that.
"As all the Kages should know Ame was inhabitable for decades because it was use as a battleground by most of the nations," she spoke coolly as it became so quiet in the room.
"Hanzō and Danzō working together in betraying Akatsuki's peace offering in my village and thanks to Obito's meddling. It also changed our group trajectory forever," Konan finished. She thought only of all terrible things her and her teammates endure. She never thought she would be the only one left and it was a miracle that she made it this far in life.
"Obito... a man who knows how to play into the shadows," Mei said thinking how he used her little brother and well all of Kirigakure.
"Speaking of him, were you able to get that animal under control Hokage?" Onoki had to know. He read the reports of when the Jūbi's jinchūriki took over the interrogation tower and how he held an Anbu hostage for a short time being.
"Yes he still imprisoned, but only by his own free will..." Tsunade was forced to realize.
"As his daughter grows older, Obito will most likely become a high security risk to Konoha,"
No one else was willing to take such a security risk well except for Konan as she spoke.
"I think I understand why Naruto wanted me here," especially since the Rain village had nothing to do with the fourth shinobi war.
It was unbelievable how fast almost a year goes by for Hinata. Being a single mom was not easy for her and more than often she would confine to Kurenai about life things. It was nice because she always saw her former teacher as a motherly figure anyways. It helped too when their daughters had playdates. Even though Mirai was a year older than Uteki, it was still very cute to watch them play.
"Even though we still are trapped at the estate...at least they gave Kurenai clearance to see us," Hinata was forever mindfully of this situation. She had no clue how long this was going to work, when Uteki gets to be academy age. Would they force her to be homeschool as well?
By that time Hinata would definitely put her foot down because she wanted her daughter to live like a normal child. Hopefully have a better childhood than hers and Obito's combines. She was always thinking about Obito and she felt blessed that as soon as Uteki was born he was able to talk to her on the phone. Ever since then too, once a week the rogue nin would call her and she was able to talk to him for at least ten minutes. Lately though Uteki has been getting curious about who was on phone.
She would crawl in a hurry to her mom and began wincing for attention until she was picked up. Then she would stand in her lap to babble in her mother's face at the same time when she was on a call. Many times Hinata would try to give her the phone hearing Obito gush through the phone.
Uteki would either look disinterested completely mute or start crying, no doubt breaking her dad's heart. It wasn't until he figured out that he need to put on Tobi's voice was when he heard his daughter giggling happily.
Hinata waited patiently by the phone. It was that time of the day in the week where Obito would call. Uteki was nearby playing with her plastic blocks and rubbing her eyes. It was almost her naptime. Today felt like a good day to the blue kunoichi because Uteki started walking. It was a milestone that Hinata was excited to tell Obito all about.
But instead of a phone ringing the doorbell rang instead.
"I got it," Hanabi was quick to get the front door. A bunch of Anbu entered their house.
"Pack only your essentials, for you and your daughter," the leader in fox mask said.
"What is going on? Why would you guys just barge in here!" Hanabi said trying not to act nervous.
Hinata just listened to what he had to say while getting their bag ready.
"We are to escort you to a secret location,"
"I'm coming with them!" her sister suddenly demanded not trusting any of these Anbu.
"We are only to escort Hinata Hyūga and Uteki Uchiha," the masked man narrowed his eyes at her.
"But-"
"Hanabi! We will be fine...they are just trying to their job," Hinata hoped that would calm her teenage sister's nerves.
As soon as the blue kunoichi had everything ready, she picked up her daughter to put on her hip. She then promised to gave Hanabi information as soon as possible.
"Bye-bye!" Uteki perked up and waved at her aunt as she waved back.
Hinata realized that this was the first time her daughter has left the estate since she was born. This was probably very exciting for her while she just hoped that wasn't anything bad going to happen to them.
"Yo Obito," Kakashi greeted him by opening his jail cell.
The rouge nin couldn't help, but smirk when seeing him.
"Well if it isn't the future Sixth Hokage gracing me with his presence," he got up from his meditative state as the copy nin tilted his head to the side.
"You know how the guards love to talk,"
"You think they learned from last time," Kakashi shook his head before saying.
"Your being exile from Konoha and the rest of the four other nations,"
Obito felt like the air was suck out of the room and he searched his eyes for any lies. He was unable to detect anything, maybe because the silver nin was veteran harden shinobi just like him. He was forced to sit back down on the edge of bed, feeling dizzy and physically sick.
"Am I to be banished from my family forever...but I get I'm the monster right!?" he didn't know what to think or do. Where was he to go and how was being imprisoned not enough for them. He had been a good boy these last ten months.
Kakashi just watched him because this was Obito's final test and everything was rides on how he acted next.
"C-Can I at least see them, even if its for one last time," the rouge nin voice actually tremble.
"Of course..." he felt extremely guilty for doing this to him.
"I want to clean up first," Obito thought his hair was too long and too white for his liking. So he also asked for a box of black hair dye.
With a kunai Kakashi gave him and twenty minutes later clumps of his white hair was piled on the floor. Looking in the dirty mirror because he wanted to make sure it was the right length. Short and choppy was exactly how he like it. Putting on the gloves he dumped the black dye all over his hair.
"You don't like white hair?" it was an awkward way to start a conversation, but after the awful news he gave him, Obito welcomed it.
"I don't want my daughter for the first time meeting me to think we're related or something,"
"Well my hair is more silver than white... you might be going colorblind with age," he chuckled.
"We are the same age if I'm going colorblind... You are definitely next!" Obito remarked suddenly felt nostalgic when talking to him.
"Kakashi...if I'm to be taken from my family...I want you to look after them,"
He honestly didn't know what to say to the rouge nin. For him to entrusted him with his family it was eye opening.
"I already failed you once before with Rin,"
"No you didn't and for the longest time I selfish blame you. You were just a pawn just like me to Madara's grand plan,"
Obito went over to the sink and ran the cold water over his freshly dye hair.
"Rin told me to forgive you and it was the main reason why I couldn't bear to fatality harm you in our fight," making Kakashi eyes widen in realization of why he dropped his weapon back then.
"I can't even say if I being there by your side with Rin would even had made a difference, but I can't bring myself to be angry or hate you anymore. S-So please for my sake look after Hinata and Uteki for me," making his old friend immediately agree.
Obito draped the towel over his entire head, but Kakashi could tell that he was crying when saying these words. With his black hair dry and his tears gone without a trace. He felt was ready to see his family. He was lead out in shackles by a group Anbu, but with Kakashi taking the lead.
Obito felt extremely hesitant walking deep underground because he wasn't sure where they were going. In his thoughts a battle was forming. If he should break these chains like he did before or keep obeying these orders to follow them. They made to a huge two door as the copy nin pushed it opened. The sunlight made his eyes squint because it has been a year since he been outside in natural lighting.
Kakashi unlocked his shackles as he heard his name.
"O-Obito!" Hinata was in shock to see him.
She waiting with a bunch of Anbu not knowing what was going on. They were outside of Konoha and she grew nervous when the Anbu refused to answer any of her questions. She was praying they wouldn't hurt her or her baby when she heard a door open up near a wall behind her.
There was Obito standing next to Kakashi as chains fell off of him. He immediately walked over to her slightly stumbled when getting close to them. He couldn't take his eyes off his daughter. She was so adorable with her pajama onesie and binky in her mouth. She looked so much like her mother except in her eyes. Uteki was a perfect mixture of Hinata and himself in her.
Instinctively Uteki tucked herself more farther into her mother the closer he got to them.
"O-Obito is that really you?"
"Yes I thought of going back to my original look...hope you don't mind it?"
"I don't your as handsome as ever," she replied happily brushing her fingertips in his hair.
Suddenly a poof and cloud of smoke appeared in front of them. As the Fifth Hokage and Amekage stepped out the clouds.
"Hinata Hyūga and Obito Uchiha from this day forward you both are to be released from your sentence," Lady Tsunade spoke first.
"But both of you are banned from ever entering Konohagakure, Iwagakure, Kumogakure, Sunagakure and especially Kirigakure. Failure to comply to these terms set by these Kages will be punishable by death with the possibility of having your child or future children having the Jūbi sealed within them. These terms are non-negotiable and are effective by today understood!"
"Yes," they both said unison seeing the severity of this.
It was Konan turn to speak as she stepped forward.
"I as the Amekage welcome you both to become citizens of Amegakure, only if your willing,"
"I'm willing!" Obito agreed without giving it a second thought.
"I'm also willing thank you K-Konan!" Hinata said thankfully with tears in her eyes.
"I will give you a moment to collect yourselves. Then we shall take our leave to a secure carriage not far from here straight to Ame," she gave them space to speak with the Hokage once more.
Feeling like a heavy weight has been lift from them. Hinata immediately hugged Obito as Uteki began crying not knowing what was going on and not liking being close to this man she didn't know.
"My little Uteki don't cry it me your daddy!" he changed his falsetto to Tobi voice just for her. Instantly she began smiling remembering that goofy voice over the phone.
When they pulled away from hugging was when his daughter suddenly have her arms out in a grabbing motion for him. Her binky fully out of her mouth as her excitedly said
"Dada! Dada! Dada!" it was enough to bring tears to his eyes as Hinata handing his daughter over to him.
Uteki touched the tear on his cheek and then shoved the binky in his mouth.
"No cry!" she exclaimed it was enough to make both her parents bust out laughing.
"I'm sorry! It what Mirai Kurenai's daughter does to her when she starts crying," Hinata explained still emotional from the reunion.
"Tell mommy don't be sorry it was quite funny huh Uteki!" Obito smiled lift her high in the air as she giggled uncontrollable.
Kakashi approached them with a smile from behind his mask at their cute interaction.
"Lord Sixth!" Hinata immediately bowed.
"Please Hinata just call me Kakashi. I'm still a Hokage in training after all,"
"Yeah you don't want him to get a bigger ego than what he already has," Obito snickered at his rose being so formal towards him.
"Take care of yourself old friend..." Kakashi said his goodbye to them.
"You as well...don't be stranger to Ame I'm sure you can make time in your busy schedule to visit us," Obito extended the olive branch to fully mend their friendship.
He nodded as the Fifth Hokage cleared her throat.
"Make sure that visit extends to Naruto as well! because without him none of this would be happening!"
"Yes of course! Please also tell my friends especially my sister of what happened to us," luckily Neji and her father was out of town, but the blue kunoichi didn't want them to worry about their safety.
As soon as Lady Tsunade agreed, her and the future Sixth Hokage right along with the Anbu left them.
In the caravan they were finally alone and not even five minutes the carriage started moving. Uteki was passed out in her dad's arms because it was way pass her naptime.
"I'm sorry Hinata I know you saw Konoha as your home. I cruelly took you away from your home and clan," he said in the lowest of his voice, dropping the Tobi act completely.
"Don't apologize my home is where you are and my clan is right here," she stated gently staring at him.
He kissed her without hesitant and then rested his lips on her forehead.
"I don't deserve you. I really don't, " he hummed against her forehead.
"Yes you do and I don't want you punish yourself anymore...we made this decision together remember?" Hinata reflected out loud thinking of the past. He merely closed his eyes envision himself marrying this kunoichi in front of him.
Obito and Hinata ended up staring at their daughter sleeping because this was their legacy and in their new future in Ame.
