Before the light, there was darkness. And before the dark, there was the primordial void. But before Ixis itself at the center of nothingness was the origin and the end of all things, the Great Harmony; the Chaos Gods.

One day, the Eternal Unity in its mysterious and chaotic nature, gave birth to three ever-expanding elements that shape the multiverse as we know it.

The Chaos Force, the force of entropy that binds all things together; the Source of All, the material which makes up all of physical reality; and the Sol Force, the spark of vitality that breathes life into all organisms. With the three cosmic forces, there came the birth of reality, the beginning of the space-time continuum.

First came the Chaos Gods, then came three generations of deities that occupied the newly forming dimensions that spread all over the vastness of creation. Over many eons, new life emerged from these dimensions, or Zones, and formed civilizations centered around the very beings that came to worship.

However, evil would eventually come from the depths of Ixis to corrupt the hearts of mortals and envelop the Zones in darkness. Despite this threat, the Great Harmony as the Ultimate Equalizer, set the most unlikely of lifeforms on a path of righteousness to combat the necessary wickedness that intends to erase all things.

Some of these mortals eventually become enlightened in the ways of the Great Harmony, ultimately transforming into the Chaos Gods' heralds upon ascension; Chaos Walkers. This leads to the battle between the many agents of good and evil, a conflict that spans all Zones. And within every dimension where there is an agent of evil, the Chaos Gods would choose their champion and paragon of heroism.

The most notable and recurring hero across various Zones is a young adventurous Mobian named Sonic the Hedgehog.

But we are not here for one of his many tales.

Parallel to the Chaos Zone is a reality that is four hundred years ahead in time, where the most abundant element being Sol Force energy. In this "Sol" Zone exists a planet Mobius that is mostly sea, with most landmass being submerged in water, leaving only a small handful of islands and a moderate-sized mainland ruled by the Sol Empire. And in this world, a new champion has been selected to represent the Great Harmony and protect creation within his reality.

His name is Silver the Hedgehog, and this is his story.

Shrine of Gamalik, Imperial Palace, Fulgora, Country of Sol

A great catastrophe had fallen on Mobius four centuries ago which nearly ended the planet prematurely. A worldwide flood had submerged most of the nations of old, purging any civilizations that had once thrived in the process. In some twist of fate, ninety-eight percent of all survivors were Mobians, leaving the descendants of mankind to be an endangered species.

The few inhabitants that survived the global tragedy had to adapt to the New World. They achieved this by creating settlements on various islands across the planet while building radio towers as a means to communicate with ships that would bring non-evolved livestock and other goods for trade.

One day, Mobius was met with a foul evil. From the fiery depths came out the world-ender, the Demon God Ifrit. Beyond the cycle of life and death that the godly Gaia Duo kept, the inhabitants watched Ifrit as it nearly scorched Mobius in a hellish inferno.

Fortunately, a brave and noble Mobian cat took it upon herself to end the madness. With the assistance of an ancient sorcerer as her master and seven small stones made of Ancient Onyx, the noble cat drained the Ifrit of its destructive and nigh-limitless power and purified it. After that, she and her master sent the weakened Demon God Ifrit back once it came, leaving the seven emerald-cut gemstones imbued with raw Sol Energy.

These artifacts were later known as the Sol Emeralds.

In the eyes of the known world, the noble cat was seen as a heroine. Her efforts had given her favor and influence, allowing the nameless cat to establish a kingdom where she served as the ruler and the guardian of the Sol Emeralds. Later on, the queen of this Sol Kingdom courted and married a wise king from a smaller kingdom.

Together, the noble power couple created a royal line that developed their kingdom further until that bloodline converted the Sol Kingdom into the Imperial Sol Empire today.

Out in the back of the Imperial Palace was a rather large and burly purple Mobian cat wearing a kaftan. He stood on his knees under a prayer rug, giving worship to a shrine made of wood. Inside it were paintings detailing the flood with a giant frog emerging from the clouds as the cause of it all.

His fur was royal purple while there were violet stripes that ran up his arms and long tail. His feet are covered in dark violet fur up to his ankles as well as the outer tips of his large, small ears that were folded down, while his upper legs, back, and sides are covered in purple fur. He also had white fur covering his chest, torso, muzzle, and inner ears. The fur on his muzzle and upper chest protrude outwards. He also possessed eyes with a pale yellow sclera while his left eye had a scar over it.

This was Cyrus "Sunny" Sol, the twentieth emperor of the Imperial Sol Empire.

While he clasped his hands in prayer, the emperor said, "O merciful master of the sea, I beseech thee. I am your eternal humble servant. Give me a sign, anything that you beckon of me, Great One, I will do so with no hesitation. All that I ask of you is to oversee the stability of my empire and the welfare of my subjects. Protect them and my legacy, and I will give the people a testimony of your glory. I seal this prayer in Light Gaia's name."

Once he was done with his prayer the Imperial Emperor stood on his feet, and walked away from the shrine as he took a stroll in his meadow.

When he reached the doors that led back into his palace, he was met with three figures. A male Mobian coyote, a male Mobian armadillo, and a younger skinnier female Mobian cat.

The two male Mobians wore the standard uniforms for the Imperial Royal Guard; a lavender colored tunic with a scarlet collar, shoulder strips in a white hue, and cuffs of scarlet and white. For bottoms, they had on white trousers that possessed a red stripe down the seam of each leg. Around their waists were leather buff belts that were colored mahogany. On the upper left pectoral region of their tunic was their rank pins, which had the Sol Empire's insignia and the Sol Emeralds, having one to seven based on the chain of command.

The black-and-peach Mobian armadillo that stood to the left of the younger cat possessed a red shell. He had a black nose that was somewhat longer and more pointed than a certain blue hedgehog's with blue light blue eyes.

Standing on the cat's right side was the male Mobian coyote who was far older than the cat and the armadillo. He had tan fur, light brown skin, and blond hair that was wrapped in a ponytail. There was also an eyepatch that covered the coyote's right eye. On his left side was a rapier sitting in its holster.

At the center of the two guards was the younger female lavender Mobian cat. The girl had triangular ears with peach-colored canals and a long tail with the end frayed and violet. Her fur is longer on each side of her head and sweeps slightly upwards. She has four plumes of hair with violet tips done up in a high ponytail with a red hair tie. She also has a red oval gem on her forehead, resembling a bindi.

For attire, the younger cat wore a purple tailcoat with rose trim at the bottom, a gold collar that had an ornament with all seven Sol Emeralds on it, and white leggings. Woven on the back of her tail coat were a hooked scepter with five colorful stars around the item. She also wore white gloves with fluffy cuffs and rose, high-heeled shoes with gray soles, white stripes and fluffy cuffs, like her gloves.

These men were Rank III Imperial Guard Mason "Mighty" Armadillo, Rank VII Antoine "Patch" Depardieu, and the Imperial Royal Princess, Felicity Agni "Blaze" Sol III.

"Ah, yes. The Imperial Guard. It's delightful to see your return." Cyrus greeted with a kind smile.

"My Liege," Both Mighty and Patch bowed in respect.

Felicity, more commonly known as Blaze the Cat, spoke to her father calmy.

"Hello, Father," Said the fourteen-year-old cat, greeting the emperor with a nod.

"Good day, my brilliant flame" Emperor Cyrus responded as he looked at all three of them. "What do you have to report to me?"

"Our division has réturnéd from kur three day surveillance around ze borders of ze mainland, milord." Patch explained in a professional tone.

"Have you found anything…suspicious out there?" Cyrus questioned, showing a rare expression of hardness.

Mighty and Patch shook, with the armadillo stating, "Negative, your Imperial Majesty. We haven't spotted any pirate ships approaching our shores nor has there been a trace of them in hiding."

The robust emperor furrowed his eyebrows as he stroked the fur under his chin.

"Strange," The ruler uttered under his breath. "I'd at least expected a confrontation of some variation from the Babylon Pirates by now. Even the Blackguard Pirates have been inactive as of late."

Turning to Blaze, Emperor Cyrus asked, "And what you, Daughter. Has the will of the Sol Force given you any visions as of lately?"

Blaze shook her head negatively.

"Nothing, I'm afraid." Blaze answered with her arms crossed. "...I haven't been able to track down that accursed Overlander scientist either."

"You don't think there's a correlation to their absence, don't you?" Mighty inquired, prompting the others to shudder at the thought.

"Light Gaia forbid." Said Patch.

"That can be a discussion for another time elsewhere." The Imperial Emperor stated as he gazed at his guard. "You are free to go back home. Your division can rest for the rest of the weekend."

"Yes, milord." The two bowed humbly before turning away and marching inside of the Imperial Palace.

Approaching his daughter as her father, Cyrus gently embraced his legacy, saying, "Welcome home, darling!"

Awkward as ever with her father's unusually jovial behavior, she still reciprocated the hug.

'...I'll never get used to this side of him.' Blaze thought to herself.

Breaking away from the hug, Cyrus asked, "I didn't expect your return to be so soon."

"None of us expected it, either." Blaze agreed. "These past three months have been rather quiet. Too quiet for my taste."

"Ah, yes," The emperor recalled. "Your journey to the other Zone. To think there is an alternate parallel dimension where most nations from the olden times still exist."

"Well, that is to be expected. Space and time do not work the same across Zones. The world that I traveled to four hundred years behind us." Blaze explained evenly.

"Yes, and I believe that you mentioned that this dimension had its own set of Emeralds that's tied to the dominant force of that Zone, correct?."

Blaze confirmed, "The Chaos Emeralds,"

"I see. So, the Chaos Force is abundant there," The Emperor realized while thinking out loud. "That makes much more sense as to why our worlds cannot meet. Our set and their set of gemstones keeps our realities in tact. If those Chaos Emeralds are just as powerful as our Sol Emeralds, the energy that they could generate in close proximity to each other could result in a cataclysm if in the wrong hands."

"That almost would have happened…" Said Blaze, closing her eyes as she thought back at to the battle she and her newest ally, Sonic, had participated in fighting the nefarious Dr. J. Ivo Robotnik (Eggman) and the Sol Zone's wickedness known as Dr. C. Ovi Kintobor (Nega/Eggman Nega). "But I had help…from him."

The ruler of the Sol Empire watch as his daughter got lost deep within her thought

"Felicity?" Blaze's father called out.

-Flashback, Three Months Prior-

Within a rift in space and time, three figures existed. Two of the three were at odds with the third.

The Egg Salamander were a pair of machines designed to combat the likes of both Sonic and Blaze. The robot was colored purple with some red, blue, pink, black and green. Living up to their name, they resembled a type of lizard, but without legs.

And while the Egg Salamander mechs proved to be a formidable vehicle for the mad doctors to use, it ultimately paled against the might of Super Sonic and Burning Blaze.

Each of the doctor's versions of the machines damage to the point of malfunctioning. Recognizing that it might have been their own chance, Sonic and Blaze took Eggman and Nega down in a final crash, destroying the Egg Salamander robots.

Now, the two power imbued Mobians floated in the void, with nothing but each other to gaze upon.

Super Sonic grinned with an undertone of sadness, "Heh. I guess this is it..."

"...Yes, it is." The regal pyrokinetic princess said, keeping her composure as professional as possible.

"Everythin' will be back to the way they were, huh?" Super Sonic continued.

"I must return to my world, Sonic. Both the Chaos Emeralds and the Sol Emeralds cannot exist in the same Zone. It would cause another crisis like this one." Burning Blaze explained in a dutiful manner. "I must uphold my duty as the guardian of the Sol Emeralds and see to it that does not happen."

Super Sonic understood this very well, given how powerful the Chaos Emeralds were.

He said, "I get it, princess. You gotta do whatcha gotta do. But it's a shame that you can't give a proper goodbye to everybody. Cream will really miss you, ya know."

Burning Blaze sighed, saying, "...I have no choice in the matter."

"Ain't got nothin' else to say?" Super Sonic questioned, tilting his head with a bit of a teasing attitude.

"I…" The cat trailed off in reluctancy, catching Sonic by surprise. "I seek advice…and your honesty."

"Oh? Well, we may not see each other again. Why not? Lay it on me."

"...I have…had a companion that I've used as a scapegoat for my inner frustrations and sorrow. Time and time again I've had people in my life seek my acknowledgement and friendship, yet I wall them off using my duty to my kingdom as an excuse to so." Burning Blaze explained, averting his eyes away from Super Sonic. "But this one companion, he kept reaching out to me with kindness. Yet, I have constantly insulted, berated, and abused him in a desperate attempt to keep others from getting too close to me. Eventually, I got what I wanted and drove him away. It didn't make anything better. No, I feel much worse than I did before."

Super Sonic remained eerily silent, waiting for the cat to finish her explanation.

"...Forgive me. I have no experience in these kinds of conversations. I know what I've done to my companion was inexcusable, now. And I am willing to take responsibility for my past actions. What should I do to rectify my situation? Can I make up for my past misdeeds?" Blaze inquired.

Sonic crossed his arms with a hardened expression. He gazed at her, from her heels to her eyes, never changing his stern exterior.

"...I'm gonna give it to ya straight, Blaze. I may not know you all that much, or what happened in your life for you to be so cold. And I won't judge ya for it. But if I was that so-called companion of yours, I probably would have split a long time ago." Sonic answered with no filter. "Hell, I wouldn't blame the guy if he didn't come back cause it sounded like you were a real piece of work to him."

Burning Blaze dropped her head down in shame with her ears drooping down, feeling the gut that she had been hiding slowly spreading throughout her heart.

"Hold on," Super Sonic added, causing Blaze to pick up her head and look at a softer Super Sonic. "That doesn't mean that you don't deserve another chance at makin' friends. We all make mistakes. What's important is that we take away from those lessons and try not to repeat those mistakes. If your guy were to see the real you and that you've change for the better, maybe he'll consider patchin' things up with you. Who knows, you might end up befriendin' him in time. If not, well, there will always new people out there to start things off on the right foot with. But you've gotta learn how to let people back in your life, Blaze."

"I see..." Burning Blaze nodded, accepting the words of the hedgehog. "...I will take this into consideration."

"Got anythin' else else to get off your chest?" Sonic inquired, with his smile returning.

Blaze justified while shaking her head, "I first came here as a stranger out of nowhere. I think it's appropriate that I leave the same way."

"Lady, quit actin'. As far as I'm concerned, any person who's willin' to take on any form of Eggman and keep up with me is a pal of mine." Super Sonic declared.

The cat blinked, realizing 'He's not going to take no for an answer. What a strange guy.'

"Sonic... Thank you for your help. And your ears. Goodbye."

"Yo, Blaze! One more time before you go!"

"Yes... Again..." Blaze obliged, understanding what Sonic mplied.

Burning Blaze floated toward Super Sonic. They look at each other a little bit. Blaze extended out her arm, Sonic grabbed into a handshake. Then a white light started taking over the rift in space-time which they were, causing them to float upward while holding hands until they were forced apart.

The last thing that Burning Blaze remembered was reaching her arm out toward Super Sonic before being consumed in a white void.

-Flashback Over-

"-city? Felicity! Say something!"

Blaze's ears perked up as she finally heard her father's calls.

Turning around, she saw the face of the concerned imperial emperor.

"Darling, you froze in place again. Are you alright?" King Cyrus asked, placing a hand on his legacy's shoulder.

Nodding, Blaze answered, "My apologies, Father. I was merely…lost in thought."

"Oh, that is right." The emperor said, remembering the date. "It is about that time again. Three years has gone by exceptionally fast."

Blaze sighed as she gazed into the sky in silence.

"Blaze, my darling flame. You do not need to worry. You will have your chance at redemption."

"...It doesn't seem like it to me." Blaze said in a soft, almost somber voice. "Nobody's heard from him since he left the Imperial Guard. Why bother coming back here?"

Raising an eyebrow, the emperor stated, "Why not? His teacher has residency in the mainlands. Not to mention, his sister-in-all-but-blood is in the care of the man. You know, it wouldn't hurt to check up on them one of these days. They may be able to help you. Sort things out."

Blaze shook her head, stating, "I've already earned the ire of the sorcerer. Treading to his manor would just be asking for trouble. Besides, even if I was allowed there…I'd only bring shame to their home with my presence."

The emperor could only gaze at his daughter with pity in his eyes. While he had a big part to play in her behavior, there was very little he could do for her current situation to be there and support the princess however he could.

'Felicia, my love. Please, forgive this old fool. I should have listened to you while you were with us. Now, our daughter is in pain, and I don't know how to help her. If only you were here…' The larger cat thought to himself.

Kneeling down to her eye level, Cyrus spoke out of the bottom of his heart.

"Do not sell yourself short, darling. You are the princess of the greatest empire since Azuron. But you are also a person. One with flaws, much like everybody else in this world. You are smart, beautiful, and deep down, you are compassionate. A lot of your past behavior was my doing, and while I do not regret molding you into a fierce warrior and disciplined guardian, I should have shown you more compassion when you were smaller. For that, I am deeply sorry for not doing enough."

"Father…"

"Have patience, child. The young man will return. He told me himself. So, you will have your chance to set things right. And no matter what happens in your life, mistakes or not, just know that you make me proud as a father." Cyrus stated. "Understand?"

"Yes. Thank you,"

Mogul Manor, Fulgora, Country of Sol

In the halls of Mogul Manor, two individuals sat by each other with their legs crossed in an attempt to enter a meditative stance.

One being a large old dark brown Mobian wooly mammoth that wore a purple tabard, while the other, an orange and brown raccoon wearing a green tank top under a lime green vest, white trousers, and light tan sandals that showed her clawed toes. While the girl still wore pigtails, they hung further down her neck as they began to reach her back. Around the raccoon's neck was a compass that was worn like a necklace thanks to a chain.

These people were Mammoth Mogul, an immortal sorcerer and advisor of the Emperor, and Mariana Mamaragan, or simply known as Marine the Raccoon publicly and to friends. The two were currently in a training session, with Marine doing her best to focus and concentrate as she closed her eyes.

"Gaia Magic has many different properties and applications, my young apprentice. While you have learned to use it to augment your physical capabilities and apply it to combat, you must also learn to tap into and properly wield its versatile power." Mammoth Mogul explained as he began to levitate off the ground slightly.

"Ay, no worries, Master, I'm quite the magic sheila, if anyone's gonna figure it out, it's me!" Marine said with an upbeat tone, before realizing how loud she was being and went back to being quiet and reserved for meditation. "Sorry….go on."

Mammoth Mogul sighed at Marine's forgetfulness but then continued to explain.

"As I explained to you when you first began to train under me, Gaia Magic not only draws energy from the planet but utilizes both the Light and Dark aspects of this arcane power. You have done well with applying it offensively but now you must learn to use it in defensive and supportive ways as well to ensure your comrades' safety and odds of victory."

"I've used my magic to heal my mates before, Master," Marine said, trying to be as quiet as she could.

"Yes, by sharing Gaia Magic with your comrades, it has revitalized them and brought them back to peak condition, but that is trivial compared to the larger menagerie of spells and incantations I have developed and documented across the ages." Mammoth Mogul explained. "Now, close your eyes again and concentrate. Feel the presence of Gaia beneath the planet, the green and vibrant glow of nature."

Marine then closed her eyes as instructed and began to concentrate, then soon also began to levitate as her body glowed a vibrant green and radiated waves of energy similar to the sun's rays of light.

"Good, let Gaia embrace you, don't force it but welcome it into your body and mind." Mammoth Mogul instructed, watching as Marine's aura dimmed and became more reserved and focused.

"Oooom…" Marine said, imitating a mantra used in meditation much to Mammoth Mogul's annoyance.

"Try and remain focused, Marine, the mantra is not necessary." Mammoth Mogul said with a stern tone.

"Sorry….sorry…" Marine said with an awkward smile before continuing her meditation.

"I want you to focus on taking the energy you have summoned and use it on this wilted sunflower." Mammoth Mogul said as with a way of his finger, telekinetically placed a flower pot in front of Marine that contained the wilted flora in question.

"But I thought I was meant to do more than share my magic," Marine said, confused.

"Humour me." Mammoth Mogul instructed, to which Marine then stretched her hand out and transferred some of her Gaia Magic into the sunflower, causing it to stand up and bloom.

"Well, I shared my magic with it, now what, cobber-I mean Master?" Marine asked, correcting herself after receiving a glare from Mammoth Mogul.

"Gaia Magic can revitalize organisms like animals and plants, but it can also be used to bend the laws of nature so to speak. What you see before you are a sunflower, but it can become something else. Concentrate on the energy you gave to the flower, visualize its shape and size, then distort it, change it." Mammoth Mogul instructed.

Marine was a little confused by what he meant by "distort" or "change" but she did what he asked her to do, and as she visualized the flower changing, the sunflower in front of the raccoon girl started to grow and gain more layers of stem and leaves.

"Crikey! It's getting bigger!" Marine exclaimed as the flower kept growing in height and width.

"Control, Marine! Don't let the flower become too big unless you want the ceiling to collapse on us." Mammoth Mogul warned.

"No worries, mate, I got this!" Marine said with a confident tone as she stretched out her other arm and used her Gaia Magic to halt the sunflower's growth.

"Hmm, not bad." Mammoth Mogul said with a shrug. "As you can see, Gaia Magic can be used to influence nature itself, to transform and evolve it in ways that are not biologically feasible in science."

"So what you're saying is we just kicked science's arse, a magic one, science zero! Eat your heart out, Windmill Elementary!" Marine boasted proudly before the sunflower began to grow in size again, alarming the master sorcerer.

"Marine, control your Gaia Magic!" Mammoth Mogul demanded, to which the sorceress-in-training immediately held her hands out and pulled the Gaia Magic out of the sunflower, stopping it from growing any further.

"I did it…it stopped growing…" Marine said as she wiped the sweat from her brow, while Mammoth Mogul crossed his arms and looked at the raccoon with a disapproving glare. "What? I stopped it, didn't I? I showed control."

"You nearly lost control, Marine, you let your ego and emotions overwhelm you, causing the sunflower to continue growing but at a faster rate." Mammoth Mogul said, scolding his apprentice. "Temperance is crucial to mastering Gaia Magic, especially when tapping into Dark Gaia, something that I've seen you do with negative emotions alone."

"Easy for you to say, I'm not some immortal archmage who had long as a wet weekend to master this shit," Marine said, slightly heated but trying to remain composed.

Marine sighed as she averted her eyes down to the ground. The archmage took note of this, concerned with the girl's strange shift in demeanor.

"Something is troubling you, what is it, my child?" Mammoth Mogul asked.

"Master, when do you think Silver is coming back?" Marine asked back, lifting her head slightly. "It's been three years already and I have nothing to do besides nonstop training! …It's just not the same without my best mate…"

"Patience, child. You know that Silver is out in the world, embarking on his own personal journey. And naturally so. It is the final lesson that I gave him as his master." Mammoth stated. "He will find himself back home when he is ready."

"Why can't he be ready, now? I want to go on an adventure with him like we did in the old days! I'll even take a mission with Her Royal Pain if I have to, but I can't sit here and wait any longer where there's an entire ocean for me to explore!"

"Mariana." Mogul said with a stern look, to which Marine went quiet and looked at her master before the sorcerer continued to speak. "If you're willing to have the Princess onboard with your hypothetical adventure, then you must be truly desperate."

"Believe me, I'm just as shocked as you are." Marine said in a deadpan tone.

"Brighten up, my apprentice, I have received word that Silver should be arriving in Fulgora some time this afternoon." Mogul said with a smile, to which Marine's face instantly lit up.

Gasping, Marine squeaked, "Really? He's coming home?"

Mammoth nodded, saying, "Yes, Marine, and I intend to prepare a nice feast for his return." Mogul replied before taking out a piece of paper from his sleeve. "Here is what I need for tonight, my apprentice, go and fetch them at the Fulgora Marketplace."

Marine nodded, saluting, "Aye, aye, Master!"

Like that, the young raccoon took the list and sprinted out of the training while joyously pumping her fist in the air.

Mammoth sat back down in a meditative position, with a warm peaceful smile forming on his old face.

'...Silver, my son. We eagerly await your return.'

Seagull Beach, Windmill Village, Southern Island

"AHHH!"

"LIGHT GAIA, SAVE US ALL!"

"PIRATES ARE ATTACKING!"

"THEY'RE RAIDING THE OBSERVATORY!"

The native Mobians of the normally peaceful island which was a neighbor to the Plant Kingdom were currently running around, frantically seeking a safe haven as enemy forces were firing cannons from a large black, blue, and chrome pirate ship called the Metal Marauder.

You'd think that a neutral territory like Southern Island would have developed their own military force, right? Well, you'd be mistaken. Due to the inhabitants often experiencing longer periods of peace, the general masses felt that they had no need to establish a proper military force. Though, there is a small police unit, judicial system, and their own legislature.

Unfortunately, the lax nature of the locals have now proven to be the downfall of their small civilization now that a band of pirates have sailed to the shores of Southern Island.

The moment that the pirate ship, known as the Metal Marauder, had made it sure, aside from a horde of pirate themed Badniks that resembled Egg Pawns got off of the ship. While some of them were armed with swords and cannons, others had installed jetpacks attached to their backs as they carried large round bombs.

After that, the main crew eventually revealed themselves as they walked down the draw board of their ship.

They came in a group of three robots.

One of the left was a three foot and three inches tall robot that bore very few similarities to Sonic the Hedgehog but wore colonial era clothing, a blue cape, and a pirates cap.

On the right was a red sentient android modeled after a human, a shark, and a torpedo. It had a color scheme of green, white, yellow, gray, red, and dark gray.

Lastly, there was the captain of the ship. He was built to resemble Dr. Robotnik. The robot had an oval body. In the head, he wore a red and gold hat, with the symbol of a white skull with a white mustache. Only in the left eye, he had celestial, while the other does not, reflecting the band of the eye that some pirates use. The Mustache torso and his hands are covered by something like a red and gold coat, with sleeves in the shape of a skull. He also wore a brown belt.

These were First Mate Metal, Cabin Bot Johnny, and the leader of the Blackguard Pirates; Captain Whisker.

"...We 'ave docked at our desired." First Mate Metal said robotically.

"No shit, Sherlock! Or however that saying goes…" Johnny snarked before looking around in confusion. "...Uh, why are we here again?"

The captain glared at Johnny, causing the green robot to turn away out of fear.

Captain Whisker lectured, "John, ye be as ignorant as a prototype! We be plunderin' this here land in hopes t' find clues that shall leads us t' the Legendary Power o' the Stars."

"Accordin' t' me sources, the Mobian koalas are known t' archive ancient texts within their observatory on this island." Firstmate Metal elaborated monotonically.

Johnny scoffed at Metal, muttering under his non-existent breath, "...Bloody kiss-ass."

"Enough!" The captain bellowed, prompting his subordinates to fall back in line. "The two o' ye be t' roundup 'n bring those daft Dropbears t' me!"

"Aye, Captain/Aye, sir!"

Upon leaving while causing carnage along the way, Cabin Bot Johnny and First Mate Metal eventually brought in seven Mobian koalas cuffed in chains being held captive, with Metal holding the chains while Johnny would shove or kick them to keep moving forward.

These seven koalas were the youth association group known as the Coconut Crew.

"It has come t' the attention o' Cap'n Whisker that ye lazy folk likes t' keep valuable text amongst yourselves. It's no use denyin' it, the cap'n can detect the fibs o' ye landlubbers." The pirate captain calmy stated, circling around the group of koalas in a slow pace. "n hordin', that jus' simply nah do."

Six of the seven koalas appeared shaken, terrified at the entire situation that they were in. And now, they had been dragged against their will by the very mechanical pilligers that invaded their land.

But one koala who wore a straw hat remained standing straight up, while fearful, had steeled himself.

This was the adventurous Tabby, who glared at the three robot pirates.

"Ye see, me crew 'n I are in search fer a treasure that has only been spoken o' in legend. 'n all o' the leads that we've followed has ended up bringin' us here. T' ye. So, I know that ye know somethin' about it. I be goin' t' give ye insufferable animals one chance." The cold and calculating Captain Whisker monologues. "The map o' the Power o' the Stars. Either tell me where I can find it, or watch as this cesspool o' sluggardness goes up in flames."

Before any of the cowering koalas could react, Tabby rebelliously shouted, "Eat a fat one, ya cunt! You'll get nothing out of us! You hear me!? NOTHING, I SAY!"

The other members of the Coconut Crew gasped out of horror.

Johnny held his face, trying his best not to bust out laughing. Metal remained unphased at Tabby's screams.

Captain Whisker quickly eyed Tabby, then turned to Metal.

"Grab a hold o' that one, matey."

Suddenly, Tabby found himself being restrained further by First Mate Metal, who kept the koala from moving much.

"Oi! L-Let me go! I said let me go you fucking freaks!" Tabby growled frantically, trying and failing to break free from Metal's grasp.

"Johnny-whelp, pry his mouth open."

Soon enough, Johnny walked over to Tabby, forcing Tabby's mouth to remain open, revealing his teeth and tongue to the world.

The captain slowly approached the rebellious koala until he eyed Tabby with a chilling piercing stare.

"Yer uncooperation shall prove t' be yer reckonin'. Let the anguish o' yer sufferin' be a yer teachrr 'n

the teachrr o' yer kin." Captain Whisker declared before proceeding to reach Tabby's mouth.

The Coconut Crew had to watch as one of their own had begun experiencing his adult teeth being pulled out one by one by the metallic hands of Captain Whisker.

None shall forget the ear piercing wailing of the bleeding Tabby, who cried out in pain despite his resolve remaining steadfast.

"FUCKING FLAMING CROCKS! DO YOUR WORST, YOU GODDAMN DRONGOS!" Tabby roared defiantly.

"That's enough!"

Captain Whisker halted his torture upon hearing the cry of a male youth, then saw as Johnny and First Mate Metal were forced away from Tabby as a cyan glow enveloped their bodies, then blue-green electricity was discharged across their and Captain Whisker's bodies, paralysing and shocking them in place.

"ERROR. ERROR." Metal repeated, taking physical damage from the surprise attack.

Johnny screamed, "GAAAH! W-What the hell i-is happening!?"

"Wha' kind o' curse be this? I can't move!" The robot captain grunted.

The three robot pirates were then lifted into the air and hurled back onto their ship with enough force to leave dents on the metallic floor.

Soon after, a lone glowing figure descended to the sandy beach below, which caught the attention of Tabby and the Coconut Crew. The figure was a young Mobian hedgehog with silver-white fur who had two large quills that draped over his back and front quills on his forehead in the shape of a fern leaf. He had gold eyes with black half rings on each side, a tan muzzle and skin and white poofy fur around his chest, neck and back. He was wearing a red cloak, white gloves with cyan circles connected to cyan lines leading to his wrists, navy blue boots with a white stripe down the center, cyan toes, gray soles and red gems on his calves with gold frames and gold bracelets on his wrists and ankles with cyan lines in a similar shape to wiring on a machine.

"Sorry I didn't get here sooner, Tabby, I had to take out the metalheads attacking the village first." The silver-white hedgehog said with an anxious tone.

Tabby, despite the pain and the blood leaking out of his mouth, gave the hedgehog a toothy grin.

"...Silver the Hedgehog," Tabby said weakly as he shakily remained standing. "Took you long enough. Welcome back, kid."

"Thanks." The hedgehog now known as Silver said with a nod before his expression hardened.

Snapping his fingers, Silver used his Psychokinesis to free Tabby and the other koala's from their bondage.

"Go with the Coconut Crew and make sure the villagers are okay."

Tabby nodded as he wiped his mouth of the stream of blood that was dripping from the side of his muzzle.

Before leaving, Tabby glanced at Silver with a serious expression of his own as he said, "Give 'em hell for us, Silverfish!"

"I will. Stay safe." Silver said as he levitated himself into the air and flew towards the Metal Marauder, seeing that Captain Whisker, First Mate Metal and Johnny were getting back up from his initial attack.

From his ship, the captain had Johnny and Metal position all of the cannon's directly at Silver as he spoke through speakers to project his voice to Silver.

"Ye dare t' challenge the will o' Cap'n Whisker!? Yer death shall nah be a pleasant one, laddie. I'll be sure that thar will be naught left t' sweep yer remains off the coast o' this island!" The pirate-esque Eggman looking robot declared. "Say ye prayers, cause Davy Jones will surely greet ye in his locker, rodent!"

'...Yep. We're definitely back home, Gold.' Silver sighed in his mind as he eyed the Metal Marauder's captain.

"You can try it, you bucket of bolts," Silver said in a threatening tone as he extended his arm out and put his palm forward.

"But I assure you…In the end, it's no use!"

The End.

Author's Notes: And so, that concludes the one-shot of what a spin-off of SONIC RESURGENCE could potentially look like in the Sol Zone.

I am aware of the tweak in character backstories, personalities, odd appearances of characters that shouldn't be there, and changes in the lore, but you have to remember that this is the RESURGENCE continuity. This is its own multiverse, separated from the games, shows, comics, and other forms of Sonic media. What you think you may know about familiar faces may or may not differ.

This includes examples like giving Silver, Blaze, and Marine actual names (yes, Silver has a real name. It's Sebastian Venice).

And if you don't like the changes, then you can find your entertainment elsewhere.

This is my compromise for Blaze and Silver not being present in the main RESURGENCE storyline, as there were reasons as to why it wouldn't work.

For those who are confused as to how Blaze and Silver knew Marine before Rush Adventure, remember that before the events of the alternate Nazo Unleashed, Sonic Rush happened. After Rush, RESURGENCE takes place. Silver, Blaze, and Marine met way before Sonic Rush happened in the RESURGENCE continuity. Silver left the Sol Empire to travel right before the Sol Emeralds were stolen, then Blaze came back from the Prime Zone at the tail end of his three-year-absence. This particular one-shot is set during RESURGENCE.

Unlike in canon, while she was still dutiful to her people and responsible, Blaze before Rush was a lot more cold, uptight, saw foreigners as beneath her and her people, and generally was unlikable. She had a poor relationship with Marine, and an even poorer relationship with Silver before he left.

Marine's special power is depicted as Gaia Magic here as my co-writer and I thought it would make Marine more interesting as the young versatile muscle of Team Sol.

There were several name drops that came from the Archie Comics and one one that sounds almost completely original.

Imperial Emperor Cyrus' name comes from King Cyrus of Persia and may have been a reference to the Mobian lion of the same name from Sonic Underground. He bears a strong resemblance to Big the Cat. His nickname "Sunny" could be a reference to a name straight from the Sonic Bible.

For all of those who seem interested in this dimension and how Silver's journey began, I'm going to need something from you.

If this one-shot gets twenty five favorites or fifteen reviews , UltimateDemonBeast65 and I will start mapping out outlines for a series based on the Sol Zone as an origin story for RESURGENCE Silver, Blaze, and Marine on that platform. If the one-shot reaches one thousand reads on Wattpad, the same shall be done for that platform as well. In time, the questions that you have about the Sol Zone and its cast will be answered.

Special thanks to UltimateDemonBeast65 for helping me with this one-shot and for the whole RESURGENCE continuity. Its been a fun little project to co-write with him. Please go and check out his content if you already haven't.

Let me know your thoughts about this one-shot; likes, dislikes, strengths, weaknesses, and overall opinion. Do you want a Sol Dimension story? I await your thoughts.

See ya'll later!
