Tsukune awoke to what was his new routine. A blue box was floating above his head.

You have slept in a bed!

(5) Unspent attribute points.

He wiped the crust out of his eyes as he read. So, he only got XP from defeating bosses after sleeping? An odd quirk, but nothing he could do about it.

He decided to save his attribute points for now. He still wasn't sure what they did, but it was better to have the points and need them than to not have them. He felt he needed to consider where to put them. As far as he knew, they were permanent.

As he went through his morning routine, he realized how dumb he was being yesterday. To start with, the quest system had given him Moka's name before he had even met her.

On top of that, though he was in denial, was it really so far-fetched that vampires and monsters could exist when a life-altering power could just drop into his sleeping lap? No, that had been just silly. No wonder Moka had laughed at him.

What was up with all the introspection today he wondered? Was it because he had increased his wisdom? Before, it had sat at one, plus the racial bonus of being an Infernal. Something he should probably research as he had no clue as to his racial origins.

Was that what stats did? With a higher intelligence, would he score better on tests? He certainly hoped so. That begs the question, should he focus more on the physical stats, or the mental ones?

Theoretically, he could just fight random people and earn XP. If he kept that up, he might one day be as strong as that other Moka. The one the game kept referring to as 'Moka(Unsealed). Still, that might be a waste. If monsters were real, did that mean magic was as well? Could he learn magic? Kyoko had explained that WIS and INT affected magic slots and MP. So could he become a powerful spell caster? So many questions. But for now, school.

Teeth and hair brushed, he stepped out of the dorm block. A nifty feature he had discovered while looking through menus was that he could set alarms for his body. He didn't need a loud noise. He just set a timer, went to sleep, and then woke up. Very useful. No more sleeping in for him. And because his body was a game character's, he always awoke feeling well-rested.

He met up with Moka on his way along the path. At this point, he expected when she clutched him close and bit him. He sighed as she took her fill and he watched his HP drop. It would be refilled by the time they went to school, but it was the principal of it.

Following that, they followed the group of students as they meandered along the path. He could hear whispers from the male student body as Moka held onto his arm. They were mostly jealous of how Moka paid him attention. He just shook his head. It's not like they couldn't approach and offer to be her friend too. But they stayed back. It seemed that even yokai feared vampires too much to get close.

Homeroom was much the same. The boys seemed to adore Moka as an icon, but none would approach to actually speak with her. Only about her. And Moka, seemed entirely oblivious. Maybe she was just used to it.

Nekonome sensei took roll, and then addressed the class.

"Excuse me, everyone! May I have your attention?" The class quieted down. "Unfortunately, our own student Saizou Komiya will be out of class for the foreseeable future. It seems he went and picked a fight he couldn't win, and so paid the price. He's currently recovering in the hospital ward on campus if anyone wishes to visit.

Having said that, let this be a lesson to everyone. Due to the nature of this school, you can't judge a person's strength just by their appearance! Someone small and lanky could be a super scary S-class monster! And someone big and acting tough might not even be an F-class.

It's best to just not make assumptions, and treat everyone fairly. Ok? Good. Now, who can tell me what an algebraic equation is?"

And with that, it became a regular school setting. Minus the cat tail lazily swaying from beneath their sensei's skirt.

Lunch was abuzz with gossip about who had taken out the wannabe bully. Some people said it was a group called the PSC. Others were unknowingly spot on when someone suggested he pissed off a vampire. And one rumor had Tsukune choking on his fruit cup when they suggested that he might have done it.

"What's wrong Tsukune?" Moka asked from across him. He cleared his throat and waved her off.

"I just heard something funny is all." She nodded and went back to her bento. "So, does eating actually do anything for you?"

She paused and looked thoughtful.

"Well, I can absorb some nutrients from it. But not nearly enough to survive off of. It'd be like a tiger eating just grass. It's physically able to do so, and might even do so on occasion for the pleasure of it. But no matter how much grass the tiger eats, it'll never be enough to satisfy its body.

I'm the same way. I need blood. My body is naturally built to absorb it exclusively. If you examined my insides, they might look human on the surface level. In terms of placement anyway. But on a cellular level, we're completely different. I have a few extra that humans don't. And don't have a few that they do. Most monsters are this way. The template is similar, but not exact.

So, to answer your question; no, not really. But it helps to blend in. And also, food tastes good."

He nodded, finding that both informative and interesting.

"So when you drink tomato juice, is it just because the texture is similar?" She smiled brightly.

"Exactly right! It's considered rude, even among monsters to just drink blood openly." She said and then took another bite. "And since I like tomato juice, it's a great filler. Kind of like being on a diet, but without the intention to lose weight."

Tsukune frowned when something occurred to him. "Wait, then why is it ok for you to drink my blood in public?" He felt it was a good question. But all she did was giggle.

"Of course that's ok. We're on blood-sucking terms!"

It was a struggle not to rub his brow. "Right." He said in a dead tone.

The rest of the day passed without issue. It really was like a normal school here. Minus the occasional horn or tail popping out. And of course, when nekonome sensei would claw at a student for pointing out her accidental transformations.

Tsukune felt he could grow to like it here.

If only he had known.

The next day he found himself walking along the path with Moka. He was still pondering what to do with his attribute points.

Quest Alert!: Playing Doctor!

Assist Kurumu Kurono with what she truly needs.

REWARD:

60 affection with Kurumu Kurono!

75 XP!

FAILURE:

Decreased affection with Moka(Sealed)

Decreased affection with Moks(Unsealed)

Eternal Enslavement

He paused mid-stride. Moka, who had been walking beside him, stopped too.

"What's wrong Tsukune?"

He reread the prompt. It didn't give him an option to accept or decline. Which implied that if he did nothing, he would fail.

The decreased affection was bad enough, but what really worried him was the 'Eternal Enslavement'. What did that mean? Who was Kurumu Kurono? And how did he help her?

He noticed Moka was staring at him. Around them, the students parted like water. Too afraid of Moka invading her personal space. Before, he couldn't understand it. But after meeting her unsealed self, he could somewhat get it.

That didn't make it right for the boys to none so subtly whisper about how hot she was. Or how jealous they were of him. Nothing was stopping any of them from swallowing their fear and just speaking with her. She was friendly. All he could do in this instance was shake his head.

"Sorry, Moka. I think I forgot something back at the dorms. Meet you in homeroom?" He asked.

She frowned for a moment before it was replaced by a smile. "Of course! Don't be late, or Miss Nekonome will scratch you!"

He nodded and walked off. Once he was a fair distance away, he detoured into the wood to think. Sitting on a stump, he ran over his options.

It didn't give him a time limit, so that was good at least. But now he was struggling to find a place to start. He wasn't very keep on being enslaved.

Tsukune stood up when he thought he heard someone groan in pain.

"Is someone there?" He called out.

The voice made another pained moan, and it sounded feminine. "Help me…please, someone. Lend me a hand, please."

That was all the prompt he needed to head in the direction of the voice. He found a girl collapsed on the ground. She wore a beige vest instead of the standard green jacket and her hair was, of all colors, blue. She looked up at him, and when her lilac eyes met his own, he began to feel warm. His head became somewhat fuzzy as well.

In the top corner of his HUD, a swirly sign appeared. But it was difficult to think about that now.

"I just suddenly started feeling ill." The girl explained.

That helped him focus. This girl, she needed help. He shook his head to free a bit of the dizziness. Walking over to her, he knelt down to her level.

"Can you…" He shook his head again. The fuzziness was worse than before. "Can you stand up?"

She nodded weakly.

"Let's get you to the school infirmary." He said hauling her up with his shoulder. She was wrapped over him now as they walked.

His head was starting to clear up a bit. Something must be in the area back there. Some sort of monster spore or something. He had gotten dizzy in the same place she had. And that notification that had a swirl must mean dizziness.

Once they were at the infirmary, he was sure the status effect would go away.

"Thank you so much, I've always had a weak body." The bluenett said.

Tsukune smiled. "It's no trouble. I'm just happy I could help before something bad could have happened."

The girl started dragging her feet a bit, clutching her chest. "What's wrong?" He asked as they stopped.

"My…my chest!" She panted. "My chest just started hurting all of a sudden!"

Alarm bells went off in his head. Could the spores have caused a heart attack?!

"It hurts so much! Please, hold me tight! Like this!" She said as she pressed the arm that was supporting her into her right breast. Normally, as a boy, he would have been ecstatic at the chance to hold a girl's boob. But right now his instincts were up to level ten. She must be delirious!

Without thought, he swooped her up in a bridal carry and sprinted in the direction of the hospital.

"W-wait! Hold on! I know you're eager! But we can take things slow!" She said frantically. "Just, look into my eyes for a second!"

He spared her a glance as he ran along the path. Then his brain became jello. And three separate swirl icons appeared. The girl yelped as she was thrown forward. Tsukune having lost his coordination, and running a full sprint, tripped spectacularly.

"What the hell is wrong with you!" She screamed. But when all that answered her was a blank face, she eased off her Allure.

Tsukune shook his head and frowned. He saw their state and got up quickly. "We should hurry to the infirmary! Whatever was back there was clearly toxic." He could see the roof of the building through the trees. He grabbed her arm and led her down the path.

"Now just…wait! Wait I said! Why aren't you listening!?" She squeaked.

But he ignored her as that feeling came back again. She had been more exposed than he had, so she must not be in her right mind. He rationalized.

It was an odd site to the receptionist when a boy with an unfocused expression dragged in a resisting blue-haired girl. She rose her eyebrows when he brought her to the front.

"Can I…help you?" She asked skeptically. If these brats were worried about pregnancy, she would hit someone. It wasn't even mid-morning after all.

"Sorry…miss. We've been…exposed…to something. Spores? Hard to think? Can you…see us?"

The woman frowned at that. Spores? Hard to think? She didn't think any brain-eating mushrooms were on school grounds. Then again, the year had been unseasonably warm. Even for inside the barrier. She supposed it was possible.

"Alright. State your names and take a seat. The doctor will see you shortly." She told them while writing down the required paperwork.

"Tsukune…Aono." the boy droned. Something was clearly wrong with him. She'd give him that.

"And you miss?" She asked the girl.

"I'm not sick! I shouldn't be here!" The girl proclaimed. The receptionist narrowed her eyes. Looking over to the boy who while dazed, was mostly functional, she inquired.

"You said we. Can you elaborate?"

The young man clearly struggled to focus under what looked like a worried and intense gaze from his girlfriend.

"She…collapsed. Found her…in a clearing. Said her head was fuzzy. Heads…been fuzzy ever since. Said her…chest hurt. Started acting weird…after that."

The woman frowned. Yes, this was serious indeed. From the state of the young man, she doubted he had any malicious intentions. And chest pain was no joke.

"Alright, and your name miss?"

"I'm not giving you anything! In fact, I'm leaving!" The girl turned around and began to walk out. The receptionist's response was to push a button under her desk and force the door shutters closed. The girl stood shocked, and when she turned around she was met with the most professional smile in miles.

"Due to possible contamination, it is inadvisable that you leave at this time. Please, follow the kind security guards to a decontamination room. The doctor will see you shortly."

The girl turned back to the door, only to find the chest of a seven-foot-tall security guard. He bulged with muscle and barely restrained violence. Her eyes widened as she had to crane her neck to his face.

"Right this way, young lady." The man said in a voice like gravel.

The girl could only nod dumbly.

They were taken further in until there was a room with showers. In separate stalls for privacy, they changed.

As Tsukune scrubbed himself in the hot water, he couldn't feel but blush when he thought about not even a foot away, a beautiful naked girl was showering.

Meanwhile, Kurumu was muttering darkly. Her entire plan had backfired spectacularly! He was supposed to be deeply charmed by her failure! But instead, he had assumed they had been affected by mushrooms. Mushrooms! Argh!!

She scrubbed herself, not because she had mushroom spores or anything so dumb, but because bow she had to keep up her act. Ugh! All she wanted to do was steal that bitch's boy toy! This was all her fault! And his fault! How can someone get a full feel of some magnificent melons and think 'Oh no! Mushrooms'?! It was enough to make her want to carve the two of them up!

But she wouldn't. Because right now she had to act like the injured little girl.

They were handed clothes after their showers. Consists of white cotton shirts and pants. Not flattering at all in Kurumu's opinion.

After that, they were left in a room with two beds and a curtain between them. The nurse said the doctor would be with them soon.

Tsukune lay on his bed and started up at the grain of the drop-ceiling. "So, this isn't how I pictured my day going. How about you?"

Kurumu grit her teeth as she sat on the edge of her bed. "No. It certainly isn't."

"Well, sometimes things happen. I'm Tsukune by the way. I'm not sure if I introduced myself before."

Kurumu rolled her eyes. "Kurumu. Kurumu Kurono." It was unfortunate that this room was bare. She had nothing to distract herself from this conversation.

"Oh." He said in a way that made her suspicious. Like he had heard of her. Which would be impossible unless he was at her previous middle school.

"What do you mean, 'Oh'? Have you heard of me?" Figures. He must be from her middle school. She had amassed quite the reputation after her body had grown before any of the other girls. It only got worse when her Allure manifested and she didn't know how to control it.

"Sorry, it's just…a very pretty name." She was happy for the barrier now. Because she blushed when he said that. Which was stupid! Boys and men alike complimented her all the time!

But he sounded like he meant it. They were prevented from further conversation when a doctor walked in.

He explained that their clothes were most likely contaminated, so they had been sent off to the incinerator. Something that irked her to no end. Some tests later and it was deemed their bodies must have worked through the low exposure of the 'Brain-eating spores'. It was a struggle not to roll her eyes at how they were taking this seriously. In addition, they were given antifungal pills. Something she had every intention of throwing away at the first chance given.

After their discharge, she separated from the brainless idiot. She needed to change clothes to intact the next part of her plan. Looking good was essential to the plan. And scrubs were NOT sexy!

Moka was beginning to get very worried. Tsukune had promised he would meet her in homeroom. But he never showed up. Not to that class, or the next, or the next. By lunchtime, she was starting to become frantic. Not just because she wanted a little bit of his blood, but also because he could have been hurt!

"You, you're a vampire? Right?." A voice said from above her. When she looked up, she saw the voice belonged to a blue-haired girl sitting on the second-floor stair railing. "Well, that's what the rumors say, Moka Akashiya."

Then the girl jumped down from the second floor, landing gracefully. Around her, people whispered. The boys especially. Moka could agree, she was from an aesthetic point of view, beautiful. She wasn't so petty she couldn't admit that.

"I'm sorry, do I…know you?" Moka asked confused.

This seemed to piss the girl off. "Tch! Just like a vampire to assume everyone else is beneath your notice! I am the Succubus, Kurumu Kurono! And I've come to defeat you!"

…"Right. Well, in, that's…nice? Wait a minute. Isn't it against the rules to tell everyone about your true form?" Moka asked to the increasingly irritable girl.

"I-I can't stand it anymore! You're the biggest eyesore in the way of my great plan!" Kurumu shouted animatedly.

But Moka was just confused as to what was happening. Looking back down the hallway, she saw a crowd had gathered there too. "I…I see. Go on?" She requested, clearly not understanding.

"Yes! My plan was to make every make member of the yokai academy student body my complete slave! And I call this, THE YOKAI ACADEMY HAREM TRANSFORMATION PLAN!" The girl shouted in triumph

"...huh?" Asked dumbfounded.

"My plan was perfect you see! I should have had every guy in the school a slave to my beauty right from the start!

HOWEVER!" Kurumu said as she got inches from Moka's face.

"The guys at this school are dreaming about you, Moka Akashiya, instead of me! I won't lose to you in a battle of feminine charm! You hear me?!"

Moka nodded, hoping that just agreeing with Kurumu would make her backup. Moka didn't like conflict after all. And Kurumu did back up some, before placing her finger right in front of Moka's face.

"That's why I've decided to prove I can beat you! I shall steal Tsukune Aono from you, Moka Akashiya!"

Moka frowned now. "Wait, please hold on. Tsukune has nothing to do with this." She didn't want to involve Tsukune in something that was clearly her business. Well, as far as casual existence peeving a classmate could be anyone's business.

Kurumu smirked harshly. "Funny you should mention him," Kurumu said while placing a hand arrogantly under her chin.

But Moka was more confused with the fact that hadn't Kurumu brought Tsukune up first?

"I was just with him earlier today. I knew from the moment he held me close, he has such a wonderful scent. Doesn't he?

Like heat and power, or maybe a strong wine.

Of course, you would know all about that. Wouldn't you? You've been using him as food right? He must taste delicious! What with how you're chomping down on him every chance you get! I wonder what face you'll make when I take him from you!"

Moka realed back. Kurumu wanted to take Tsukune away. No! She couldn't!

"Moka! There you are! I've been looking all over for you!" A familiar voice called. She turned around and smiled at the person in question. "Tsukune!" She said joyously before going to capture him in a hug.

"Sorry, Moka. I had to go to the infirmary due to toxic spores. I met someone there-" He was cut off when a blue missile impacted against him.

"Oh, Tsukune! Thank you so much for earlier! If not for you, who knows what would have happened!" She said while liberally rubbing herself against him. Tsukune would be embraced to admit, her chest did feel especially nice. But this was right in front of Moka!

"Um, hi again Kurumu. Are you feeling better?" He asked the bluenett.

The girl perked up and smiled brightly. "Oh yes! Much better than earlier. But I'm afraid my chest still hurts. Will you examine it for me?" Kurumu asked softly. Her eyes met Tsukune's at that moment.

Kurumu's…chest hurts. I should…examine it. He thought foggily. Then he allowed Kurumu to lead him somewhere. To examine her chest.

"Tsukune! Where are you going?" Moka asked concerned.

Tsukune looked back at her with unfocused eyes. "To examine her chest." He said monotone.

Moka stepped back as if visibly struck. Her expression was devastated.

Tsukune tried to call out to her, but he was stopped when he remembered he had to examine kurumu's chest.

"Come on Tsukune! Let's find somewhere more private!"

As it turned out, somewhere more private was an unused nurses' office. Likely sealed off and no longer in use due to the large infirmary on campus.

He sat in a chair while Kurumu bounced about on the bed. She seemed excited about something or another. But Tsukune needed to examine her chest.

She turned to him almost timidly. "Tsukune." She beckoned softly. And then his head was between her breasts. Her arms gently held his head in place.

"Are you sad, Tsukune? Don't worry. Kurumu will make it all better."

And they remained that way. Her holding him close. And him examining her chest.

Meanwhile, Moka sat on a set of secluded stairs located outside a school entrance. She felt…she didn't know how she felt. When Tsukune left with Kurumu, it hurt in a way she had never felt before. It made her guy hurt and her eyes water.

"He's not just a blood bag to me. He's my friend. He said so." She whispered to herself. But the pain didn't ebb.

'Foolish nieve one. Tsukune is being manipulated.' A disembodied voice spoke.

"Eh? Who-"

'There's no time! It's called an Allurement charm. It's a work of sorcery that controls the minds of the opposite sex. Ultimately, the victim becomes a slave.' The voice claimed. Seemingly coming from her rosary.

"Please! Who are you? How do you know this?" She asked looking into the gem.

'I am another you. I'm using the rosary to speak to you from within.

But now is not the time for idle chatter. The Succubus is a demon who seduces men. A man who is kissed by a succubus will inevitably become his slave! Hurry! At this rate, Tsukune may already be her servant!'

That was all she needed to hear. He got up and began her frantic search.

Back with Tsukune. He had examined her chest quite thoroughly from this vantage point, and could preliminarily assume that nothing was wrong. Perhaps just an after-effect from earlier.

She released him and leaned back, her eyes made him feel dizzy. A total of four swirling icons were under his HUD. That should concern him, he felt. But at the same time, he had a difficult time caring.

She leaned in towards him, eyes closed. At this rate, did she intend to kiss him? She was inches from his lips when he placed a hand between their lips. Her soft lips met his knuckles.

Her eyes fluttered open, and her brow became annoyed.

Blinking, he explained himself. "Kurumu, I think you might still be under the effects of the spores. Did you take the medicine?" He asked worriedly.

That must have been the wrong thing to say because when she heard him she became angry. Her knuckles grew white from how tightly she was gripping the sheets.

"You…stupid…jerk!" She said she shook with rage. Her face was tilted downward so he couldn't see her expression. But, he could make assumptions from her tone. "I did all those things! Stupid things! I even let them burn my favorite top! And you thought it was Mushroom spores!? There were no mushroom spores! It was me! That feeling you're feeling is me! Argh! All I wanted to do was destroy Moka! But instead, I find out that not only are you resistant be my Allure, but it makes you a freaking idiot!" As she finished her tirade, wings erupted from her back. His eyes widened at her true form.

"You made me look like such a fool! I'll kill you!"

He kicked off the side of the bed to avoid her swipe. His chair clattered to the ground and did a clumsy roll to dodge the stab he followed up with.

He could see now that her nails had become elongated, and were razor sharp. If the slashed metal was anything to go by. Currently, she was struggling to pull her nails out of the concrete of the floor. The fact they were several inches deep made Tsukune sweat at the implications.

That's when Moka burst through the door. Seeing Kurumu pinned to the floor, she charged to perform a shoulder shove.

The result was Kurumu's nails dragging a long set of gouges through the floor, and then her falling out of an open window.

Both Moka and he stared dumbstruck.

"Moka!" Tsukune said panicking. "This is the third floor!"

Moka's shocked expression of disbelief told him she had realized that. Oh geez. Had they just killed kurumu by accident?

"What…what do we do now?" She asked nervously. He…didn't know. This wasn't like with Saizou. This was fairly public, not secluded in the woods.

"Do…do monsters have prison?" He asked dreading the answer.

"No…not usually. I'm…sure she's fine. Perfectly fine in fact. But listen! Kurumu is a succubus! Her race can seduce and enslave men. She wanted revenge on me for…honestly, I'm not sure. It was a bit hard to follow. But because she doesn't like me, you were dragged into it. I'm sorry Tsukune." Moka said bowing slightly.

Tsukune for his part could only look confused. And then a look of understanding drew across him like a light bulb being illuminated. "Ah." Was all he said. As if that explained everything.

A slight breeze passed through the room.

"So what now? Do we get faculty involved or-"

"Notice me damnit!" A familiar and shrill voice screamed. Both parties looked out the window to see Kurumu hovering with her wings out. Her expression was furious.

"As expected of a vampire! You through me clear passed the tree line. I might even have bruises! But lucky for me, I was able to catch flight before I struck the ground.

But one attempted kill deserves another! So come out here so I can KILL YOU!"

She demanded. Then she flew off.

Neither Moka nor Tsukune were stupid enough to think she was done, however. Most likely, she would wait until they exited the building, and then take them out from the air.

Neither of them could fly, so it was a powerful advantage.

The end-of-day bell rang, and students began filtering out. Yet despite that, Kurumu remained to circle the school.

"Geez, she's really pissed. If we go out there, I think she'll really try to kill us." Tsukune summarized.

"We can't stay here all night. The night classes will start soon." Moka warned.

Tsukune was curious now. "Night classes?" He asked.

Moka nodded. "The purpose of this school is to help yokai learn to fit into human society. But not all yokai are normal students. Night classes are for adult yokai to learn how to integrate into the human world. Some of them can be…unpleasant."

'Enough of this scurrying around like rats. Release me. I'll take care of this uppity bitch.' The disembodied voice of her rosary spoke.

Yet Tsukune recognized it. "Wait, aren't you that other Moka?" He asked. Pointedly NOT thinking about how he was speaking into what was basically Moka's cleavage.

'So you remember this one? How kind of you.' She mocked. 'But now is not the time for words. Now is the time for action! Release me and allow me to teach the girl a lesson in provoking her betters. My pride demands it!'

He was..hesitant. The other Moka sounded…bloodthirsty. For lack of a better term. The irony of the statement wasn't lost on him. Gently, careful not to touch anything he shouldn't, Tsukune grasped upon the Rosary. A quick tug had it releasing for its chain. He held it as her change took form.

The power that was unleashed drove her hair up into the air, and he watched as the pink was drained from starting at her scalp. It was like watching a waterfall in reverse. She bulked up slightly. What was soft became toned all around her body. Her fangs became longer, and her eyes, her eyes became those enchanting rubies of power and passion.

"Stop staring. You might make a girl blush ." She teased. And now he was blushing after being caught. " Come. Let's meet her where she has the home-field advantage. That way she'll not be able to contest it when she is crushed."

And she was striding outside unafraid. While Tsukune watched the skies with vigilance, her approach was almost meandering. Tsukine also noticed something else. That aura of oppression she had before, it seemed she could in fact control its projection. It was off him entirely.

His only warning of Kurumu's approach was a whooshing of air. He probably would have lost his head, if not for the alabaster thigh that was extended mere inches from his face. The wind from how fast Moka had moved blasted his gait back. And then Kurumu's flailing body was carving a trench in the dirt.

But she didn't stay down. Kurumu grit her teeth and took to the air again. This time her focus was Moka. As she was the much larger threat.

" What will you do, I wonder. You've bared your fangs at the likes of me, and now it seems you've bitten off more than you can chew."

Moka blurred, and then she was right next to Kurumu in the air. The Bluenett could only gasp in shock. " Did you think you were safe up here?" Moka taunted before grabbing Kurumu by her tail and swinging her around. " You should learn your place!" Then she swings down and lets go. Leaving Kurumu to rain crashing down.

Kurumu struck down with such force it caused a crater. She gasped out in pain, eyes unfocused. Moka on the other hand landed with elegance and grace.

When she started walking toward Kurumu, the girl became focused and started to panic. She tried to get on her front to crawl away, but Moka placed a foot on her wing. " Am I too difficult for you?" Moka mocked. Kurumu frantically swiped at Moka's foot, but stopped to cry out in pain when Moka placed her foot deeper into Kurumu's wing. " Calm yourself. That was but the gentlest of touches. If this is all you can give, perhaps I should have left you to the other Moka and Tsukune. Maybe I should just kill you out of pity."

"Please!" Kurumu cried desperately. "I'm sorry! I won't do it again! I don't want to die!" She was beyond decorum or propriety. She sobbed openly in fear that her life was about to end. "Please." She begged in a whisper.

And Moka smiled. It made Tsukune shutter. Even if this Moka was a creature of violence, did you have to be so sadistic?

"Though you act like a little Devil, you're just a naive little girl." Moka kicked her in the gut, launching her several feet to the side. Kurumu vomited when she landed. And Tsukune had seen enough. " I'll make sure you'll never be a problem for me again," Moka said stepping forward to snap the girl's wings.

But then she was halted by someone standing in her path. Moka was in genuine shock. Between her and the succubus stood Tsukune. And he held in front of him her rosary. She started, uncomprehending. He had to know he stood no chance. Even with his fire and smoke, she outclassed him in every way. Yet he stood between her and his would-be master. Was he Charmed? No. His eyes held such focus and conviction that it impressed her.

She flared her Youki onto him. His body stiffened, but he remained unmoving. She could see his muscles shaking in a constant effort to resist her power. But be resisted it all the same. " What isn't his?" She questioned. His glare remained at the same intensity. His arm was outstretched with her rosary held within his hand. "Move!" She demanded. Doubling the pressure put on him. He buckled slightly. Then he pushed past it. Shaking and barely upright. And yet, he did not move!

" Is this not the woman who not oy tricked you, but wanted to enslave you? Tried to kill you?"

But he didn't move. And that…she didn't know how to feel about that. Everyone moved. Everyone. All feared her. And if they did not fear her, they at least obeyed. The only exception was her family, those few in her sphere of influence who were stronger than her. Certainly only one or two here could hold that title. And it most certainly wasn't this boy before her. It invoked…something. She didn't know. But whatever it was, she liked it.

"This…is enough." He pushed out. His face was covered in sweat, and his shaking was getting stronger. "Please Moka. I don't believe Kurumu was doing this purely out of bad intentions. When I look at her, all I can see a girl with a big heart."

Behind him, the girl looked on at her Savior. That look of reverence and humility, it annoyed Moka to no end. This damn fool. He shouldn't go about spouting such things with such sincerity.

If he wasn't careful, he'd be holding a maiden's heart. She dropped her Youki, and he fell to his knees. But he still didn't touch the ground. His arm remained outstretched. Holding out her seal. "You're a fool." She accused.

And the fool had the nerve to smile at her! "Who's the bigger fool? The fool? Or the fool that defends him."

Her eyes narrowed at his playful insinuation. He took this, correctly, as her mild displeasure. "I'm just trying to say, I think you're someone we can depend on." Moka wondered if he was doing this on purpose. Speaking with such charisma.

She grabbed the rosary from his outstretched hand. He wilted slightly, but remained upright. " Hmpf. Don't misunderstand. I just don't want to lose my access to such delicious blood."

She placed the seal on her choker's chain. " Remember that I am not the other Moka. We do not share the same emotional weakness." Then that Moka was gone. And the pink-haired Moka returned. She fell to her knees, and the seemed to catch herself.

And then all three of them were in different stages of being on the ground. Kurumu was just laying there, with Tsukune not far behind her. Moka was at least able to remain sitting on her knees.

"So…" Kurumu drawled. "I think I speak for everyone when I say, that girl is intense."

Neither Tsukune or Moka could disagree with that. "How is your wing? Actually, are you ok in general?" Tsukune asked the prone girl. Her response was to wave her hand in a So-So gesture.

"I'll have a few bruises tomorrow. But I'll live. What about you Tsukune? You stood under the full weight of her power. She was only playing with me, I could tell. Are you alright?"

Tsukune looked up to his HUD to see his stamina completely empty. But his HP was full. "I'll be fine after a bit of rest." Both of them looked over to Moka.

"Uh, um. I'm a little thirsty. But otherwise, I'm fine!" Both Kurumu and Tsukune rolled their eyes.

"Of course you are." Kurumu said.

Tsukune on the other hand just pushed himself up from his laying position to a cross-legged orientation. "Alright, fine. But you're going to have to come to me. Other Moka made sure I'm not in any condition to walk." His stamina was slowly filling, but he wouldn't feel good enough to walk until it was at least in double digits.

Moka made a squealing noise and hurried to his position. She plopped herself down in his lap and then gently took her just reward.

"Wow, talk about defeat being rubbed in my face. I should have let that other Moka kill me if I'm being forced to watch this." Kurumu complained from her position.

"Ah, sorry about that Kurumu. But this was kind of an established thing before you came along. Speaking of, I gotta ask, would you like to be our friend?"

The bluntness of him just asking that after everything that happened made Kurumu chuckle. Then giggle. Then laugh. Then cry. "Ouch, ouch, laughing hurts. It hurts so bad! Geez." she took a deep breath. "You know what, sure. I'll be your friend. Why not."

"Oh! Me too! Me too!" Moka said after cleaning her wound, excited at the prospect of a new friend.

"Sure, leech. Whatever makes you happy. But Tsukune." He looked at her. "I will seduce you! When you were standing up for me, I realized something. You're my destined one. So I won't stop at anything in order to have you. I hope you're prepared." Her eyes were intense, and this time, he could appreciate how beautiful they were without becoming dizzy.

"I can't promise anything like that Kurumu, but if that means you'll remain our friend, then your welcome to try."

They stayed there for a bit. Watching the sky turn into twilight.

"Hey, um. I know we all just did the friendship is magic thing, and I'll probably be fine by tomorrow, but I still can't get up. Can someone carry me to my dorm room." Kurumu asked sheepishly.

Tsukune could only look at the most healed person in their party. Moka agreed with a sigh.

In a dark room:

The bus driver walked in to see Mikogami working his way through a stack of paperwork.

"You really should get a secretary." He commented and he took a seat in one of the lavish leather chairs in front of the headmaster's desk.

Mikogami's response was to glance up, glare, and go back to filling out papers. The bus driver shrugged and lit a cigar, content to wait however long it took for the headmaster to finish.

"Nurari, I thought I told you not to smoke in my office." The priest chastised. The now-named Nurari shrugged and put it out.

"You know me, I'm a man with my vices." He said as he pulled a glass and a bottle of brandy from…somewhere. Pouring himself a glass, he noticed Mikogami glaring. "Oh. Sorry. My bad. Let me grab you a glass too."

We're Mikogami a less dignified man, he might have run a hand over the front of his face. Instead, he took the offered glass and placed it off to the side. Far away from his stack of finished paperwork.

"So, what of the experiment?" Mikogami inquired.

Nurari sighed in a way that brought the priest dread. "He's, not as expected."

Mikogami glanced at the cup of liquor, then decided against it. "How so?"

Nurari took a long drag from his glass. "He's not human for one."

"Impossible. I had his genealogy tracked back five centuries. It was the primary reason he was chosen. It's very difficult to find anyone in Japan who doesn't have even a drop of yokai blood."

Nurari just shrugged. "I know what I felt. Whoever you had look him up must have missed something."

Mikogami grit his teeth. "They've never failed me in the past. I'm inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt. What is he? So I can write it in the records. Even if this interaction of the experiment has failed, he's still a student here." The man said while rummaging through his desk for the file on Tsukune Aono.

"See, that's the interesting part. I can't tell for certain, he is very weak. But if I'm right about his point of origin, you and him share something of a similar background." The suited man took another drink.

Mikogami frowned. "Well, don't keep me in suspense."

"Hmm. I think he's from hell."

"Impossible. And also, which hell? Yomi? Naraka? Surely not Gehenna."

"Nope. Far as I can tell, he's from where the bats live. Though, he feels more like fire than them. Some kind of native demon perhaps."

Upon hearing this, Mikogami took the glass and downed it in one shot. He sighed when he saw his glass was empty.

"Hey, that stuff is top shelf! Don't down it like cheap saki!" Nurari complained.

Mikogami just rolled his eyes and held out his glass. Nurari filled it again begrudged. "Yeah, yeah. And I just broke a seventy-year sobriety. So who's the real victim here? Anyway, I'm now more certain than ever that my guy didn't get it wrong. This reeks of outside interference. All of this after I went to the trouble of having his test results changed to keep him out of a different school. What a waste. Oh well. spoiled milk and all that.

What's the political landscape look like? I've been too busy supervising the school."

Nurari leaned back into his chair. "Well, our faction is pretty stable. Amatarastu's fox miko has got the south taken care of. The north is my territory, as you know. I've been dealing with some cultists, but otherwise things have been quiet. And of course the Dog guards the west.

Speaking of, that woman would like a meeting at some point. It's not urgent, but you know how she is."

Mikogami did indeed know how…unreasonable that woman could be. Still, she was one of the pillars of the west, and she did donate a considerable amount to the founding of the school. Technically, she was on the school board. So she did have every right to speak with him as the Board chairman.

He just didn't like her. One would think being as old as the Kyubi herself would install some humility. And yet that woman had the stubborn mind of a mule. He blamed her husband.

"Right. I'll get right on that." He replied sarcastically. "What about the big three. If someone turned one of ours into a sleeper demon, they would be the most likely."

Nurari hummed in thought. "We can safely rule out the doves. They're much too holier than thou to attempt anything like this. The bats and crows on the other hand? Well, this has their M.O. written all over it."

Mikogami took a sip of the brandy. This time savoring it. "Why can't they just kill each other and be done with it."

Nurari laughed heartily. "Oh, if only all of our enemies were dumb enough to fall on their owns swords. That would be the day."

Giving up on finishing the mountain of paperwork for now, Mikogami leaned back in his chair. "Changing subjects, how is the grandkid?"

Nuarir smiled genuinely. "That punk! He thinks he can be just like his grandad! Even started a little territory war! Made me laugh something fierce. Of course I gave him a good wacking, but he's got his fathers will, his mother's temper, and his grandad's ambition! Didn't do a thing to disaude him. Now I just gotta beat that old Yoki-onna off him with a stick! Ha! He makes me proud."

The priest chuckled, happy his old friend was surrounded by friends and family. "Speaking of, are you planning on doing the parade this year? What with all the political tensions?"

The bus driver chuckled. "Course I am. The world could be ending and we'd still parade. In fact, especially if the world was ending! Haha!"

The priest smiled and took a long sip. "Never change, old friend. Never change."
