Just like that it was the three-week anniversary of losing Louise. Bob's depression grew worse by the day. He knew he needed to keep face the trial. He knew that he needed to get justice for not only Louise, but Tina and Gene as well. Like it or not he had to keep fighting, at least through the trial. Still though he craved death. He dreamt of the gun he kept hidden in the walk in. Where he prayed Big Bob and Teddy wouldn't think to look. He didn't even get out of bed on Wednesday or Thursday. He only knew time passing by the sounds of Tina and Gene leaving for, then returning from school. Big Bob brought him meals and he ate only enough to get by. Big Bob and Teddy both tried numerous times to talk to him, but he refused to engage. Tina and Gene tried speaking with him as well. He actually put effort into interacting with them, but it was hard. They were already moving on with their lives. Tina was babysitting Chloe Barbash that night and then going to hang out with Zeke at the arcade. Gene was going to spend the night with Alex. Part of Bob hated his surviving children for moving on so readily. Their baby sister was dead. How could they just move on? Didn't they care anymore or were they already forgetting? Linda had already left and now Tina and Gene were moving on. He knew that Big Bob would eventually return to the diner and Teddy. Things had been getting pretty serious between him and Kathleen before the accident. Bob knew that Teddy saw Louise's death as a wake-up call and was now ready to really step it up. Teddy would soon move on. Then Bob would be all alone in the world. Fresh tears fell from his eyes and his mind went back to the gun. The trial would be in about six weeks. Then he would be free. Big Bob was talking to him again, but he ignored him. He closed his eyes and silently prayed that he would just die in his sleep.

Gene nervously stepped into his classroom. He had been back at school for a week already, but this was the first Friday back. The accident happened on a Friday and the two since he had spent grieving with his family. The first Friday Linda had still been there. Even though she had already walked out on them. She was in the same town, the same state, the same region. She still had her old phone number. He could still call her and at least hear her voice mail. Now she was miles away and the phone had been disconnected. Now Bob would not get out of bed except to use the bathroom. Now Tina was taking babysitting jobs and maybe even dating Zeke. He had only agreed to sleep over at Alex's because it got him out of the house and made it seem like he was OK. Like he didn't sneak into Louise's classroom at recess and sit at her desk. Like he didn't randomly spin the lock on her locker hoping to hit the combination. Like he feared he would never laugh again. He stepped into his classroom and was surprised to see a new student sitting in the desk next to his, Mr. Riker quietly summoned the boy and then pulled the pair aside.

"Gene this is Damon. Damon this is Gene." Mr. Riker introduced.

"Hi" Damon muttered.

"Hey" Gene replied nervously.

"Gene, I would like you to show Damon around. Help him get used to this class and the school." Mr. Riker explained.

"But I'm not on the welcome committee." Gene commented.

"Gene uh Mr. Frond and I decided that it would be best for you to help Damon. Even though you have not previously signed up for welcome wagon. Because well we feel that Damon would relate to you better than the other students. Because well uh Damon has also lost a sister." Mr. Riker explained.

"He has? You have?" Gene gasped spinning around to face Damon.

"Yes, my sister was seven. She got cancer and it was a bad one they couldn't cure. She was given nine months but only lived a little over a month. She fell and hit her head where the tumor was and well, they couldn't save her." Damon explained his voice breaking.

"My sister had just turned ten. She was hit by a car. She got hit saving me and my older sister." Gene explained.

"I read about that in the paper. Louise" Damon commented.

"Yes" Gene replied.

"My sister was named Delilah." Damon replied.

"What was she like?" Gene asked.

"Bookish quiet. She loved horses. My parents actually bought her a horse when they found out she was sick. She wasn't supposed to ride her cause of the tumor, but she wanted too so badly. We were alone in the stable. She was crying she wanted to ride so bad. She was dying anyway, and it didn't seem fair. So, when she asked. I got her my helmet and helped her on him. I led her around the paddock. My cousin has a farm. That's where Daryl lived. I knew how to walk a kid around on a horse. It was fine until we got back to the barn. I got them into the stall. I accidently walked into something and it spooked Daryl. He bucked and she fell. I had to confess. My parents were furious. They said they lost both their children that day. My cousin and his wife took me in. We live on a farm just outside of town. I went to the school there, but I didn't fit in. My other cousin Zeke went here last year and did well. So, they decided to get a waiver and send me here." Damon explained.

"Delilah sounds more like my older sister Tina. Louise she was loud and full of life. She wasn't afraid to say what was on her mind. She was the bravest person I ever met. It was a Friday night and my sister Tina, and I wanted to go to a football game. So, Louise had to work at out family's restaurant. She was angry and fighting with all of us. My dad snapped at her. Then we had to go run an errand. We were coming home. Tina and I were goofing off and didn't even see the car. They were going so fast, but Louise managed to push us to safety. Unfortunately, it was too late for her. Every part of her body was damaged or destroyed. She fought for a day and a half but there was just so much damage. She was too weak to fight. My mom left us. She says it's because she blames my dad, but I wonder if maybe she hates me too. I know I do. My dad just cries all the time." Gene explained.

"Wow I am sorry. I hate that I found somebody who knows exactly what I am going through." Damon apologized.

"Yeah, I am sorry, and I feel the same way." Gene admitted.

Linda finally had her appointment with Dr. McCoy. She had spent the past three days sneaking pills from Gayle and now Gayle was beginning to get suspicious. On Thursday she had found some pills leftover from when Gloria had a hip replacement. She started taking them as well. She was still drinking but with the pills she needed less alcohol to get by. To her parents she was sobering up, but again Gayle was suspicious. She could not wait to get her own prescription. Then she would only need to "borrow" pills when she really needed to take the edge off. Gloria was driving her to the appointment but would be leaving her to go to a hair appointment.

Linda waved to Gloria as she drove away. Before stepping into the psychologist's office. She patted her bag to make sure she had her "liquid courage." She then staggered to the desk.

"May I help you?" The receptionist asked.

"My name is Linda Genaro. I have a two o'clock with Dr. McCoy." Linda slurred.

"Yes mam. Please fill out this form and the doctor will be with you shortly." The receptionist instructed.

Linda took the form to a nearby chair. Filling out the form was simple enough. Just a few basic questions about her life and why she was seeking treatment. She made sure that she didn't sound too desperate when explaining why she felt the need for anti-depressants but also made it abundantly clear she wanted pills instead of actual counseling. The last thing she needed was to be forced to talk about losing Louise or how her marriage had collapsed before her eyes. She completed the form then returned it to the receptionist. She returned to her seat and took a swig from her flask. She took three more swigs before the door opened and Dr. McCoy ushered her into his office. She stumbled to the couch fighting to keep her composure.

"First of all, Ms. Genaro I am terribly sorry for your loss." Dr. McCoy apologized.

"Thank you." Linda replied harshly.

"Now I fully understand your need for antidepressants. However, to get the prescription I will need to see you daily until I am sure that you are adjusting well. From there on out we will have weekly sessions." Dr. McCoy explained.

"No, I need the pills!" Linda pleaded.

"You will get your prescription. You just need to have regular therapy." Dr. McCoy assured.

"No! Please no! I can't relive that! Just give me the pills, so I can forget!" Linda pleaded.

"I am sorry, but I cannot prescribe pills to patients." Dr. McCoy apologized.

"No! please just let me forget!" Linda begged.

"Ms. Genaro." Dr. McCoy whispered.

"I am a grieving mother! How can you be so cold and not help me?! I came to you at me at my lowest point and you turned me away!" Linda snapped before storming out of the office.

Truth be told the last thing in the world Tina wanted to do was babysit Chloe Barbash. She hated the idea of babysitting her dead sister's bully, but she did need the money. Her dad was not working anymore. Big Bob was running the restaurant, but he was spending so much time caring for the family and trying to manage his own restaurant. He could not keep Bob's open as long as they once had. Tina needed to babysit, she needed to make sure they got enough to get by. She worried if things got any worse financially her and Gene would be sent to foster care. She knew that Chloe would be a nightmare, but she also knew the Barbash's paid well and since unlike Tammy she didn't have to be at the football game. They had decided to stay out an extra hour.

Tina arrived at the Barbash's house at exactly three o'clock. She peaked in her backpack and activities she thought Chloe would enjoy. She had packed a few fashion magazines and a hair styling doll Gloria had bought for Louise last Christmas. Louise hated fashion so the doll sat untouched in her closet. Ms. Barbash ushered Tina inside. She showed her where the emergency numbers were and gave her the standard instructions. She informed her that the cook would arrive around four to begin making dinner but left take away menus in case Chloe got hungry before dinner. After saying goodbye to the Barbash's Tina headed up to Chloe's room. Chloe was sitting up on her bed texting away.

"Hi Chloe" Tina greeted.

"Wait Louise's some how more gross sister? What are you doing here? I thought Tammy was supposed to come." Chloe moaned not even looking up from her phone.

"Tammy had cheerleading practice. So, she offered to let me switch with her. Since um she took my babysitting jobs after you know." Tina explained.

"Yeah, nobody asked me." Chloe snorted.

"Well, I am here." Tina sighed.

"So, are we going to get our hair or nails done? Oh, are we going to go out to eat?" Chloe asked.

"I don't have money for any of that. Your mom just left money for take out." Tina explained.

"Yeah, no I want to go to Platinum Bistro." Chloe whined referring to a new fancy restaurant. Tina knew it was forty minutes away and the cheapest thing on the menu was seventy-five dollars. Ms. Barbash had only left fifty dollars.

"Well Chloe your mom only left me fifty dollars. That wouldn't even cover an Uber to the restaurant." Tina explained.

"Don't you have money?" Chloe laughed.

"Not that much." Tina sighed.

"OK what about a driver? At least your gross dad." Chloe pleaded.

"Chloe my dad is so depressed over losing Louise he can't even get out of bed. He can't drive us, and my grandfather has to run our restaurant." Tina explained.

"So, what are we supposed to do?" Chloe whined.

"I brought some fashion magazines and this doll whose hair you can do." Tina explained withdrawing the supplies from her backpack.

"Ew! These magazines are from last year!" Chloe moaned.

"Yeah, my mom's friend Gretchen gives them to us. When trends change." Tina explained.

"So, you brought outdated fashion and a baby doll as in a doll meant for a baby?" Chloe sighed.

"Is there anything you want to do that is free or cheap?" Tina asked.

"Go for a walk?" Chloe suggested with a sly smile.

"OK now we're talking, or should I say walking?" Tina joked.

"Don't talk" Chloe ordered climbing off her bed.

When Chloe suggested going for a walk Tina assumed that meant just walking around her affluent neighborhood. Much to her surprise Chloe walked straight out of her neighborhood, Tina was confused but knew it was best to keep the client happy. Chloe kept walking and walking. This was a shock since Tina recalled Chloe almost always found a way to get out of gym class. Chloe kept walking until the streets became familiar. Tina was stummed when they came to Ocean Avenue. Even more so when they kept going. A chill ran down Tina's spine when she realized where Chloe was leading her. The memorial was still there. Flowers, stuffed animals, and a photograph of Louise. Tina bit her lips and heaved praying she would not throw up.

"Chloe, we need to turn around." Tina insisted.

"Just a minute!" Chloe called.

"NOW CHLOE!" Tina demanded.

"Tina watch this!" Chloe cried.

"Chloe" Tina warned.

It was too late Chloe took off running. She ran to the side of the road they were crossing when. "Tina! Look out!" Chloe cried. Bewildered Tina looked around. There was nothing around. Chloe then stumbled out into the street. She ran down the street and then back again. She threw herself onto the ground, she closed her eyes and stuck out her tongue.

"Chloe what are you doing?" Tina demanded.

"Being Louise" Chloe laughed.

"Chloe! That isn't funny!" Tina cried.

"It was kind of funny. She died." Chloe laughed.

"Died" Louise was dead. This was where the accident that took her sister from her. The accident that shattered her family. This was exactly where it happened. Tina swore she could still see blood and pieces of Louise's body. Her leg, entire chunks of skin, hair. Tina closed her eyes and tried to catcher her breath. Her chest only got tighter. Another panic attack was coming on fast. She was trying to chastise Chloe, but she could not breathe. Seeing what she had done Chloe feigned concern.

"Oh My God! That's my girlfriend! She is having a panic attack! Somebody calls 911! Now!" Zeke cried running towards Tina.

"No! No. No." Tina moaned.

"It's OK. I got you. I got you." Zeke whispered as he helped Tina to the sidewalk.
