As the intense light died down, Megatron, Wheeljack, and Smokescreen found themselves in a strange dimension, a dimension where they were surrounded by weaponry such as swords and spears as well as gigantic gears that slowly turned. The sound they made could be construed as sickening if one listened to them, but if ignored, the sound just faded away or so it seemed. As they were getting their bearings, they heard a distinctive cough, and sure enough, when they turned they saw Lancex. Lancex glared at the decepticons before disappearing and then reappearing in front of Smokescreen.

Smokescreen wasn't exactly sure how to feel about all of this, until Lancex picked up the broken bot, and then disappeared and reappeared extremely far away and reassured the bot that this wouldn't take very long. Lancex then set Smokescreen down there before Lancex pulled the trick of his, and appeared once again in front of Megatron and Wheeljack. Megatron was as amazed as he was pleased, as this bot was much more powerful than they had realized. But Lancex wanted none of it.

Lancex freely admitted it had been at least five years since he had used his Noble Phantasm power. And before Jack or Megatron could react, Lancex picked up six brave swords, three in each hand. Then, before Megatron even realized it, those six swords penetrated his usually tough armor and Megatron went down hard and in absolute agony. Jack stood by in utter shock, especially as Lancex withdrew those six swords from Megatron and then plunged them into Wheeljack, who also felt hard to the ground, in much the same state as Megatron. Unseen by Lancex at the time, Smokescreen watched the dangerous fight, and he worried as a bot this powerful could be a danger even to the Prime judging by what Lancex was doing to Megatron.

It was then that the mage snapped his fingers and they were apparently still in the Autobot base. They hadn't actually ever left, just were in a different dimension in its exact coordinates. Lancex scooped up his injured friend Smokescreen and left the Decepticon pair for the others to find. But as soon as Lancex left, Jack and Megatron, though deep in pain, left the Autobot base with help from Starscream, who reluctantly coughed up the Star Saber in exchange for the two bots. Both Megatron and Jack were even more determined to get and corrupt Lancex, as a powerful bot like that was just what the Cons needed, but for now, they were in desperate need of repair.

Lancex said nothing as he headed towards the Autobot med bay. Smokescreen needed help and Lancex was worried about what they others would think and do if they knew. Lancex wasn't sure if what he did was the right thing, but he hoped it was. Only time would tell.
